If You Only Knew [XxMoonlightRomancexX & Warr]

Roxanne smiled weakly as she felt him kiss the top of her head when she apologized for snapping at him. "I don't expect you not to hurt him, Adam. What I expect is for you not to kill him because I don't want my big brother, who means more to me than anybody else I know, spending the rest of his life in jail." She said, looking up at him as she said this. As she did she hoped that he didn't look in her eyes because the look of love for him in her eyes would have given it away that her love for him far surpassed what was acceptable between a brother and sister. "I do want to scream, but I'm not going to take what he did out on you. I was the one who stayed with him because I'm not good enough for any guy who would actually treat me right and actually care about me." She said, sighing and closing her eyes as her head rested against his chest.

YHe pulled her a little closer, not liking how he felt so...helpless right now, how he felt so useless to her. This entire time, for the past two years, she'd been beaten and raped, and she hadn't even told him. He'd been living in the shadows, not knowing of his little sister, the reason of his affections, had been hurting for the past two years. He pulled her closer and pressed his lips against the top of her head, refusing to pull away. He couldn't think of anything to say right now.

It seemed to help her relax and feel more at ease as he pulled her close to him. Then, it was like she could read his mind. "Adam, you know it isn't your fault I didn't tell you." Roxanne said, nuzzling her head into his chest. "I didn't tell you because I thought I could handle it. Which, it's obvious now that I couldn't but I didn't see the point of bothering and stressing you out while you were busy with school." She said, closing her eyes as he pressed his lips to the top of her head once more, keeping them there this time. "I love you, Adam." She said softly after a few minutes of them sitting there in silance with him holding her close to his body and his lips pressed to the top of her head and her head rested on his chest with her eyes closed.

"I love you too, Roxy," he whispered back to her, his hand rubbing up and down her stomach again. He couldn't hurt Brent, he'd get, well, the law on his ass. He needed to do something. But what could he do outside of help her get through this? All he could hope to do was be there for her, comofrt her, and let her know nothing bad was going to happen while he was around. So he kissed her head again, moving down to her cheeks and pulling her a little closer.

"I won't let anyone else hurt you...' he said softly.

Roxanne smiled as he whispered back to her, enjoying the feel of his hand as it moved down to her stomach and ran up and down her stomach again. Of course, Roxanne didn't know about his plan to get the law on Brent's ass and truth right now she didn't care what he did. All she wanted right now was for her older brother, her wolf to comfort her. When Adam's kisses moved down to her cheeks from her head, Roxanne smiled, thinking about turning her head at the last second so he would kiss her on the lips but she decided against it; afraid that her trying something like that would scare him off. "I know you won't." She said, nuzzling her head into his chest as he pulled her a little closer. "Why don't we move up to my room, it would be more comfortable for both of us. Remember I have that full size bed." She said, opening her eyes to look at him, a smile on her lips. Roxy wanted a more intimate setting for when she decided to tell him about her feelings, which she wanted to do tonight.

"Sounds like a plan to me." he said with a nod as he gently pushed her up, so he could stand himself. He grinned a little bit and pointed to his back. "Heh, want me to give you a piggy back ride?" he asked. "Like before I left? I know how much you like me carryign you."

As he pushed her up she stood up, watching him stand. Roxy couldn't help but smile when he pointed to his back and asked if she wanted a piggy back ride. "I can't believe you remember that, how much I loved it when you would carry me around." She said, standing up on her tip toes and kissing him on the cheek. "One problem, with my side I'm not sure I can get up onto your back." She said, kissing him again on the cheek.

"Hmm, good point." with a nod of his head, stroking his chin. "Well, I don't wanna have to force you to walk up the stairs, especially since I'm now in big brother mode and think every step will end up teasing your wounds open again...' He said under his breath, humming. "Ah! Let's try it like this." And so, as gingerly and as gently as he could, he leaned down and scooped her into his arms, very mindful of her wounds.

Roxanne watched him as he stroked his cheek, as he tried to think of a way of getting her up the stairs without her having to walk. "When aren't you in big brother mode?" She asked, giggling as gently scooped her up in his arms. As he held her, Roxy rested her head on his chest. "I think this works just fin." She said, nuzzling her head into his chest. "Now, up to my room captain!" She said, unable to keep from sounding like a little girl as she said it and unable to keep herself from laughing. It sounded like she was steering some kind of ship.

"Onward!" he said, posting dramatically for a moment before he went up the stairs. She didn't weigh anything to him, so the trek up the stairs was absolutely nothing. The entirety of his house was still very fresh in his mind. He knew where her room was, their parents room was, every nook and cranny in the floor board, and that one rung on the ladder that was all twisty and could spin all day long. It was good to be home.

He kicked the door open with his foot and sighed. "Have I mentioned how good it is to be home?"

Roxanne laughed when he played along with her and posed dramatically before starting the walk up the stairs to her bedroom. "Depends." She said as he kicked the door open with his foot. "Have I mentioned how much I miss you when you are away at school?" Roxy asked, looking up at him as her head remained on his chest, using it as her pillow. Sure, she loved their Mom and Dad, but nobody held the same place in her heart as Adam did.

"Heh, I think you mentioned it somewhere down the line.' he said with a tease. God, she hadn't changed her room at all, had she? It was almost completely different. He took a seat on her bed and leaned back against the wall. "Well, here we a re." he said as he released her from his hold, laying her on the bed.

Roxanne smiled up at him. "Well, it's the truth, part of me feels almost empty when you're at school." She said, unable to think of another way to explain how she felt when he was gone. When he took a seat on her bed and released her from his side, Roxy moved so that she was laying beside him and laid on her left side so that she was facing him. "Hey Adam, I need to tell you something." She said, deciding now was the time to tell him of her secret feelings for him; the feelings that had been there for years now. Roxy just hoped she didn't scare him off by making her feelings known and part of her still tried to remain hopeful that he felt the same way about her.

"Hm?" He asked, looking down at her and tilting his head to the side. "What's up?" He asked. He had no iddea what she'd tlel him, but he swore to god if it had something to do with something else Brent did...well, then he couldn't be responsible for his actions at that point.

As he looked at her Roxanne swore she could see a look in his that said if what she had to say was one more about that asshole Brent that he wouldn't have anymore control left not to kill him so she started by assuring Adam that what she had to say had absolutely nothing to do with him. "First, because you look like your ready to kill him if you find out he's done one more thing to hurt me, this has nothing to do with him." Roxanne then paused, hoping that knowing what she was about to say had nothing to do with her ex would calm him down. She then sat up, moving so that her body was facing him before continuing. "It has to do with us." She continued, but paused before taking a deep breath to calm herself. When she began to speaking again, Roxy found it easier to look down at the bed rather than up into Adam's face. "I hope this doesn't scare you away, but I thought I should tell you I love you." She paused, getting the courage to look up at him as she told him this. "I don't mean as my brother, either. I know it's wrong, but I love you as a lot more than my brother and have felt this way for years, I just thought you should know. I think it's a lot of the reason I stayed with Brent, too. Because I knew I would never be good enough to make you happy, even on the off chance you felt the same way." When she was done explaining her feelings to him she looked back down at the bed, trying not to think about the rejection he was sure to give her.

It was shocking to hear her say that she loved him in the same way he loved her. He almost couldn't breath it seemed as she spilled her guts to him, taking a deep breath, momentarily stunned. How does one respond to finding out your sister not only loved you, more than a sibling, but you felt the same way. "D-Do you really, Roxy?" he asked, stammering.

Roxanne looked up from the bed, looking up into Adam's face. As she did her eyes were filled with tears, making it clear she was scared of the rejection she thought Adam was about to give her. "Yes, Adam, I really do. I wouldn't be telling you this if I questioned my feelings in any way." Roxy said as tears began to escape from her eyes and she began to cry. "If you don't feel the same way, just tell me and we can forget I ever said anything."

What could he say at a time like this? Could words even fit what was going on? Instead, actions to the rescue! He leaned down and gently cupped her chin in his hand. What came next would either be the beginning of something new between them, or the end of something else. Either way, he leaned down and pressed his lips against hers. That was all he needed to do. That's all he could do without stammering over his words like a fucking idiot.

When he leaned down and cupped her chin in his hand, at first she wanted to struggle, not wanting to see the look in his eyes as he told her she was sick for feeling that way and then rejected her. At least, that was what Roxanne thought was going to happen. Of course, she was surprised when he leaned down and pissed his lips to her's to kiss her. When their lips met, any worries Roxanne had had in her mind about Adam thinking she was a freak for feeling this way or that he was going to reject her quickly faded away. As they kissed she moved her hands up to either side of his face. The kiss last several minutes and when it ended Roxy pulled back just enough so that the two of them could catch their breath and speak if they wanted and even then they were still close enough that when he exhaled she could feel his warm breath on her face and like wise for her. "I love you, Adam." She said, her eyes looking into his as she spoke. Truthfully it was all she could think of to say.

This w as it. Moment of truth. He took a deep breath and without any other sort of hestiation, said to her, "I love you too, Roxy..." he whispered, his eyes never leaving hers. "I was just so worried about what you'd think about me if I told you..."

Roxanne continued to look into Adam's eye as he spoke. "You thought I would think you were a freak, but I don't. Even knowing the rest of the world thinks this is wrong, it feels like the most right thing in the world to me." She said, leaning in and kissing him, this time it was just a peck on the lips. "The best way I can explain it is, it feels like that feeling people get when they meet their soul mate. They feel like that person completes them. It's the same way I feel about you, Adam. I don't see you as my brother but as my soul mate." She explained, even though she knew she didn't have to. The two of them had always been connected since they were little to the point they could guess what the other was thinking or feeling and be right a majority of the time. Roxanne leaned in and kissed him again, this time she took his face in her hands, making it a very passionate kiss.

He would have talked about it more had she not pulled him into a rather intense and passionate kiss. Nothing else needed to be said. His eyes close slowly and he pulled her close to him, pulling him nearly into his lap and wrapping his arm around her waist tightly, but not too tightly to disturb her wounds.

Roxanne couldn't help but to smile against Adam's lips when she could feel him pulling her close to him. As the two of them continued their passionate kiss, Roxy moved so that she could help him get her into his lap. The kiss lasted several minutes before she pulled her lips back from his, allowing them both to catch their breath. "I love you, Adam and I'm so sorry I didn't tell you sooner." She said, moving her arms so that they were loosely wrapped around his neck and his arm wrapped around her waist. Her only regret now was that they had gone with years without knowing each others feelings, but now that they knew, they could be together romantically.

"if anything I'm sorry I didn't tell YOU.' he mumbled to her as he pulled her a little bit closer. "Maybe if I did, you wouldn't have been stuck with scum like Brent." Another soft kiss to her lips, not even thinking this as wrong as they were brother and sister. he felt they were closer than that, closer than something like titles could ruin for them. He kissed her cheke, moving down father to her neck.

As Adam pulled her body a little bit closer, Roxanne looked up into his face. When he gave her another soft kiss to the lips Roxy closed her eyes, smiling against his lips as their lips met. Like him, she didn't think this was wrong and felt they were a lot closer than any title could begin to describe. She wasn't going to let some titles or what other people thought of their relationship ruin this for them, either. When he kissed her cheek she smiled, moving her hand to the back of his head and beginning to run her hands through his hair as he moved he kissed his way to her neck. When his lips finally made it there Roxy let out a soft moan, continuing to run her fingers through his hair as he kissed at her neck. "My wolf, I love you so much." She said, right now she was just focused on the two of them in the moment, not Brent, not what their parents would say when they found out and not even what they would do when it came time for both of them to return to school.
