Looks change but do people (Frelance & Notte)

Jason took pulled out his phone then just shook his head and pulled the cash out of his pocket. He thought about how much the food would cost and he figured the money she had slipped him would be enough. As Clark took the cart and pushed it forward a bit Jason quickly texted back. “It will be enough. I hope things are going well love.” He sent the text then caught up to Clark and Jadien.

Listening intently Jason grabbed a few snacks that he remembered Mercy had liked and hoped she still liked them. He nodded when Jadien mentioned how Jace knew more about a person then they knew about themselves. He had noticed how she could surprise people very early on but he had never asked her what she saw of him. He had told himself a long time ago that he didn’t want to know. It wasn’t true but he was never sure he could handle what she would tell him. “You two are scary that way.” Clark smiled as he heard Jason’s words but said nothing as Kyle walked up. Clark slipped his hand into his pocket and pulled out a folded sheet of paper and started to read it over until Kyle left and Jadien started speaking again.

When Jadien had stopped speaking Clark looked at Jason but saw that even if Jason got what Jadien was trying to tell him it wasn’t helping his piece of mind at the moment. He handed the page of paper to Jadien. “Its not just they dicks leading them. Well not all of them I don’t think. I made that list in chemistry. Its all the shit any of them started or got into. Most of them were pushing their luck one way or another. “ He turned and took the bottles of pop one of the guys had come back with. “Thanks can you go and get another cart started?” The guy nodded and left.

Jason glanced at the list and just frowned. “Its not why they sided with her that bothering me. It’s the fact that they did in the first place.” He glanced at them both before he continued. “But now that they are gone they will not be allowed back. If our family means so little to them then I should never have agreed to let them in.” He had thought that everyone should be welcome but he was beginning to realize that had been him mistake and now it could be the thing that tore apart the family he had worked so hard to bring together.

As they got back to the front of the store Clark saw that the others were waiting. "It looks like we have what we need." Jason nodded and pulled out the cash. He gave a third of it to Clark and to Jadien. "Okay, lets get out of here and wait for the girls." He walked away and got into line with part of the group. He spoke to one of the girls who had not gone shopping then took the cart from her as she left and got a few others to come with her. They left to go back to the school and get their cars.

On the other side of the mall Linday stood there stunned as she looked at Mercy’s breasts. After a few seconds she realized she was staring and started to blush then looked at Jace to give herself something else to look at. She always wanted to see her reaction but she looked back at Mercy and moved so that only Jace and her would see Mercy. “I knew you were hiding something but I never thought your breasts were this big.” She smiled a bit at Mercy trying to get her to calm down at bit. “Why don’t you go back into the dressing room and I will go and get some bigger tops.” She glanced at Jace not quite sure what to say then went back into her room and got dressed before she walked away and started to gather up larger tops for Mercy.

When she had gotten a few tops for each of the swim suits Mercy had chosen she walked back to the changing rooms and knocked on the door of Mercy’s room. “I have a few more tops for you.” When Mercy had taken the tops she stood outside the door for a few seconds then looked at Jace and mouthed one word. “Wow.” Then shook her head smiling as she thought that there was no way Jason could see Mercy as a child if he seen just her breasts. Hell no one would be able to think of her as a child after tonight. She quickly went into her changing room and tried on another swimsuit. When she came out and she smiled as she saw what Jace had on now. "That one is nice. Which one do you like better?" She asked as they waited for Mercy to come out. "Mercy do those ones fit?" She wanted to try and put Mercy at ease after her reaction.

Jadien shrugged his shoulders at Jason's comment. "Honestly, I think Jace it better at it than me, but she paid a big price for being the way that she is." The cheery carefree charm slipped from his features, his face and even his posture. He was defeated and for a brief moment there was nothing but pain and rage on his handsome face. Then, it was gone as if it had never been. Posture back up, easy smile back on, and a twinkle back into his eyes. The twins had learned long ago how to master a disguise.

Jadien and Clark payed for their part with the money they had been given. With Jadien wondering if they had gotten more than they needed, because who knew who was all coming tonight. He hoped someone would be policing the entrance, because no one needed the extra trouble. Yet, he wasn't sure how that was going to work. When they were finished, they met back up with Jason and waited outside with him. "So, what happens if any of them show up tonight for the party? They may have sided with Mia, but you know that the info about the party is going to get to them through the others. Do we just deny them entrance or see what happens? Honestly, though, I think Mercy needs to fight this on her own with them, because you can't protect her from them forever. Your girls got what it takes."

In the dressing room, Mercy tried on the new tops with a "Thank you," yelled out to Linday. Some of the tops were to small still and she knew that the swimming suits just wouldn't work, since certain ones never went up to her cup size. She picked up one that she had grabbed that the others didn't know about, a string bikini. One, in which, she figured since she could tie it would fit. She slid the bottoms on and then readjusted the ties at both sides before she put the top on, it fit her perfectly. The bright green color accented her eyes and made the lavender color seem to glow, the paleness of her skin was like smooth ivory and she ran her hand down her flat stomach over her bellybutton ring that gleamed.

Poking her head out of the room, she saw both Jace and Linday in their swimming suits. "Oh! Jace, that one looks great on you. Linday, I actually liked the first one you had on a lot better." As she talked, she looked around to make sure that there was no one but the three of them and then she stepped out. "What do you think of this one? I tried on all of the others, but some of the tops were still really to small, I couldn't even get them over my breasts without being able to breathe. Do you think its too much? Or to grown up?" She bit her bottom lip as she looked up at them. While she was thinking about it, if she did go swimming, she would have to be able to pile the thick length of her hair onto her head and would need help with that too. That was, however, if she could find a swimming suit.

Jace looked at Mercy again and noticed that her breasts were even bigger in this top, but that was probably because the other one was suffocating and binding them. "You know, Mercy, if I wasn't straight as an arrow, I would be totally attracted to you in that." She shrugged her shoulders, Jace may not say much most of the time, but she was never one to lie. "You look beautiful, I'm just worried about the reactions that the guys will have." She gave a laugh, knowing exactly what type of reaction some of them would have.

Jason glanced at Clark when he saw the change in Jadien but said nothing about it. It was rare that anyone would see one of the twins showing anything like this but it had happened a few times before. Jason had never asked what they had gone through and as far as he knew Clark had left the topic along as well. Clark felt a shiver go down his spine as he saw how abrupt Jadien was happy again.

“He’s right Jason, the only way to deal with this is to have Mercy make everything choose their side.” Clark leaned against one of the carts as he spoke. He agreed with Jadien completely but he also knew that if Jason asked him to police the door at the party he would do it without question. He figured that Jason would learn eventually if not now then soon enough.

“I know word will get around. I doubt anyone else believes that things are as bad as they really are.” He turned away from them and l looked off towards the end of the mall he thought the girls would be at. The idea of letting Mercy deal with this on her own was one he did not want to even consider but the reality of the situation was that he would have to let her deal with it at least until she asked him for help. It was the only way to close the dam rift that was opening in the family. She knew that he would do anything she asked he had no doubt of that. “Fine, Clark I want someone at the door. If they come we can deal with them before they get inside.” He turned around to face them again. “When the girls get back I will let everyone one know that those who sided with her are not part of the family and never will be again. If they show up at the party I will give them the message then.”

LInday looked down at the one she had on and nodded. “Me to but I have to try them both one anyway.” She turned her attention back to Mercy and beamed when she saw the bathing suit she had one. “It looks good on you, no worries there.” She looked over at Jace and laughed a little. “I am not sure I would have used the word worried. I am sure the backyard will be filled with tents when the guys see you Mercy.” She just hoped Jason did not get to protective of Mercy at the party but unless something happened she had a feeling he would be fine. “We should get changed and pay I am sure the guys are waiting for us.” She slipped back into her stall to get dressed again. When she was finished she waited for the other two before going to the front counter and paying for the bathing suit. When everything was paid for and they were heading back to the guys Linday looked over at Mercy. “I am glad you are back. Jason has always seemed to be incomplete and I don’t think anyone actually knew who was missing.” Out of the corner of her eye she was about to see the cars pull up to the grocery store and everyone start to load up the party supplies.

After Mercy paid and they left, she kept her bag hidden, not wanting Jason to see what kind of swimming suit she had until it was on her body and she was showing it off. The girls talked as they walked towards the boys and when she saw Jason, she raised her hand up, waved and gave a smile that would put the sun to shame. She could feel eyes on her though, eyes that sent a warning down her spine and she looked around but did not see either Mia or Stefan. Who was it that was watching them?

Disregarding the weird feeling, she shook it off and kept walking, looking forward to having her first party with the man she loved and her new friends, her new family. At least the ones that accepted her. She was worried about the others that didn't know her and had sided with Mia, she hoped that it didn't tear Jason's family apart, that was the last thing that she wanted to happen. She didn't want to be the cause of anymore of his loss.

When they got to the car, she took Jason's hand and held it, giving it a tight squeeze to show that she missed him before everyone climbed in. She sat in the middle of the back seat, being the smallest. Multiple conversations went on as everyone talked on the way back to Clark's house where the party would be held at. They all helped to grab some of the bags and started to set some things up. After all of the junk food was set up, Mercy found the bags with the snacks that she licked and before she could stop herself, she opened one up and popped of the snacks into her mouth. A moan of pleasure at the first taste of flavor that she hadn't experienced since she was sent away made her want to try everything. Feeling slightly embarrassed she put the bag down, put it on the plate and set it out with everything else, a light blush staining her cheeks.

Jace walked up next to her and winked while she picked up the snack that Mercy just moaned over and ate it before speaking. "You ready to get into that swimming suit and knock everyone out of their socks? We girls can get ready in the guest bedroom."

When Jason saw Mercy he waved back and couldn’t held smile when he saw how happy she was. He was so happy to have her back in his life but he knew that things were not going to be easy for them at least not for a while. He just hoped that they could deal with Mia and Stefan before camera crews were told that Mercy had come back. When she looked around he straightened and took a quick look around but didn’t see anything. He took her hand and smiled down at her as he felt her squeeze his hand. He waited until he got into the car and shut the door before he took her hand and kissing it.

On the ride to Clark’s place Jason got into a discussion about the music they had played at the last party that ended in Jason just shaking his hand and asking if the guy had brought any music. Jason just smirked and sat back as the guy shut up knowing that unless he had the music they would play whatever Clark had around. From the look on Clark’s face as he drove and the way Linday just rolled her eyes the discussion was nothing new.

After everything was set up inside Jason and Clark went outside and checked the pool and the sauna to make sure they were working as a few others set up speakers. Soon enough the music started playing inside the house and out in the back yard. “Well I am getting changed. I can’t wait to get back in the water.” Clark nodded and followed Jason into the house. “Best part of the party is the water.” They headed for the master bedroom.

Linday walked into the kitchen with a handful of car keys when she spotted Jace and Mercy. “I want to be there when you show everyone your swim suit.” Smiling she turned and opened a draw at random and shoved the keys to the back of the draw before closing it and walking over to the girls. “Let get changed.”

A few minutes later Jason came back outside in a pair of trunks that ended just above his knees and watched as two of the guys on the other side of the pool who had been joking and faking each other out by almost pushing the other into the pool get pushed in a by a few girls who came up behind them. Clark walked outside just in time to see the guys hit the water and he started laughing. “I guess they couldn’t wait until they got changed before taking a dip.” Jason who was still smiling just nodded. “Something like that.”

The girls walked into the room with their bags and started changing. This time, both of them helped Mercy out of her corset and dress. They all shimmed into their swimming suits and Mercy tilted her head and looked in the mirror as she was still standing there topless. "You know, this is the first time I've ever gotten naked with people other than Jason. Usually at my house, my maids always help me undress and bathe, but I've never seen another naked or nearly naked female before." She bit her lip after she spoke, not wanting them to get the wrong context, but this was new to her. Trying stuff on and taking it off and on and off and on and off and on again with friends. She looked up at Linday and Jace, "Thank you both for today, I had a lot of fun. I've never tried things on with friends before."

Jace was a little uneasy with how Mercy phrased it at first, until it clicked in her head and Mercy confirmed it. "Anytime you want to go out with us girls, just ask. Jason trusts you with us and he knows that we wouldn't let anything happen to you. So, if we ever want a girls day away from those guys - and trust me, we will - we can do it." As Jace spoke they were all ready and about to head out the door before she stopped them, "Mercy, we are going to have to tie up your hair or something. It will be easier for you to swim that way. Hold on."

Going to grab a hair tie and sticks, Jace grabbed her hair brush and started fixing Mercy's hair, when she first touched it she was shocked. "Linday, you have to feel how soft and silky her hair is! I'm so jealous." After Linday felt it, Jace continued to put her hair up, having difficulty with the extreme length and thickness. After she got it up on top of Mercy's head and tied it, before swirling it around in the sticks to give it a Japanese flare. Honestly, it didn't bring it very far up, as it still hung down the length of Mercy's back, but it looked sexy with her bright green swimming suit, porcelin ivory skin, and enhanced the glow of her lavender eyes. "Alright, Mercy, we are all done. You look great."

Smiling at the new her in the mirror, Mercy looked up at Jace. "Thank you. I've never had my hair up before either." As the girls walked out of the hall, no one was in sight and Mercy got slightly afraid of all of these people seeing her like this. She tried to cover up her breasts with her arms, but that didn't work, so she hid behind Jace and Linday, being short enough that no one would see her behind them as they walked out and into the party.

Linday was a bit nervous as she listened to Mercy but when she explained what she had meant Linday relaxed and smiled. “Jace is right your welcome to come with us anytime. Jason can’t have you all the time.” She started putting her clothes away in the bottom draw of the dresser then grabbed Jace’s and Mercy’s cloths. Once they were all away and the draw was closed she walked over and watched as Jace went to put up Mercy’s hair. “Your hair is softer than mine I don’t see hair getting any softer than that.” She still came over and ran her fingers through Mercy’s hair. “Holly crap how do you get it that soft?” She sat down in front of Mercy as she watched Jace put up her hair.

As they walked down the hall Linday worked hard not to watched Mercy and smile at how nervous she was about anyone seeing her. She was the opposite of Jason in that respect, he had seemed to never care but now that she thought about it maybe it was like how he never really paid much attention to the advances made towards him. Either way it didn’t really matter at the moment. As they neared the back door she looked behind her at Mercy. “You will be fine just try to relax and have fun.” She offered her one last smile before looked towards the door as it was slid open and let the sounds of people joking and the splashes of bodies hitting the water.

Once the two guys were out of the way Clark ran the few feet and dived into the pool. He cut through the water with almost no splash before coming back to the surface on the other side of the pool. “Come on get in its great!” Jason smiled but instead of following Clark he walked over the sauna and climbed up onto its roof where he walked to the far edge and waiting a moment he ran and jumped off the edge closest to the pool. After a quick flip he curled into a ball and hit the water soaking anyone that was at the edge of that half of the pool. When he broke the surface Clark and half the other people standing around were laughing at the surprised looks on the faces of those who had hit the water. Jason joined in as he saw a few other faces then nudged Clark when he saw Jace and LInday at the door.

Mercy's nerves were shot. She pulled a few pieces of her hair and brought them up and over her shoulder so that they would hide the scar on her neck. She hoped that the rest of her hair would hide the scars on her back and was surprised that Jace nor Linday commented on them. Although, maybe they were just to busy with her hair to notice all of the white lines. She only looked perfect in clothes and this was the closest thing she had ever been to being naked with anyone other than Jason, her servants, or her "professors".

She was still hidden behind Linday and Jace, but she saw as Jason went jumping off the sauna and into the pool. The splash was deafening and she wanted nothing more to look to see if he was ok, but she just couldn't bring herself to come out. There was laughter and jokes and voices all around that it was as scary as it was exciting, if only she could come out from hiding.

Jadien came up to the girls and looked at them with curiosity, "where is Mercy? I thought you guys took her in to get changed with you. She isn't lost is she?" Really, it had him wondering, because in reality today was all about Mercy and bringing her into the family. Jace tilted her head back and to the side, indicating the Mercy was hiding behind them and would need help coming out. Jaiden moved his sister and Linday to the side so he could see Mercy and when he did his jaw dropped at the size of her breasts and how beautiful she was. He was a little envious of Jason, but he quickly covered it up and hoped to high hell that his sister hadn't seen his expression. Reaching down he grabbed her small childlike hand and pulled her out and into the open so that everyone could see her and how unchildlike she really was. I mean really, those breasts are just gigantic, how does she even keep her back straight?

Her knees were shaking slightly when Jaiden pulled her out into sight. Since he held one hand, she tried to use her other to cover up her small waist. Red colored her cheeks as she started to hear comments of "Holy shit", "My God", "Who is that" and whistles. She tried to move behind Jaiden but he wouldn't let her. So instead, her eyes sought out Jason.

Jason watched as Jadien walked over to the girls as he started wondering where Mercy was. He pulled himself half out of the pool as he started to look around the back yard and see where Mercy was. He had not seen her when he came out after getting changed but she could have come out when he was climbing onto the roof.

When Mercy walked into view with Jadien conversation stopped for a moment as all attention went to Mercy, more specifically her gigantic breasts. There was a silence as the mental image of a child Mercy was shattered. The older members of the group were the first to recover and started to whistle their approval. Some got a quick jab to the ribs if their girlfriends caught them staring at her for a long. After the general surprise started to wear off the groups attention got splinted as the girls started laughing and teasing the guys with obvious hardons. They guys tried to hide the fact to late and for a few the girls started to go a bit farther than teasing as they led the lucky guys off to the side and towards the house.

Clark who had been one of the ones who started whistling had nudged Jason when he saw Mercy. Now he was making his way across the pool with Jason. Jason smiled reassuringly at Mercy when her eyes found his. As soon as he was across the pool he pulled himself out and walked up to Mercy only to wrap his arms around her and lift her off the ground before kissing her. That little stunt got more than a few cat calls and whistles from around the pool mixed with some laughter. “You okay Mercy?” He was smiling gently and as he spoke his lips brushed against hers. He ran his fingers over her back as he held her but he showed no sign that he was going to ask about the scars he felt. He just wanted to enjoy the party with Mercy.

After a few seconds Clark who had walked over to Linday and put his arm around her waist spoke up. “Stop staring you perverts.” There was a bit of laughter at his comment but they started to turn away and go back to what they had been up to before Mercy came out.

Mercy didn't know how well she was received by the others, but she felt very awkward. There were a few bad looks from girls with boyfriends, but really, it isn't like she wanted a chest this size. When Jason lifted her up she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back, one of her legs lifting up as she did so. With her head tilted to the side for the kiss, her hair dropped off of her back and even with Jason's arms around her, the scars would show to anyone who looked. Jace and Jaiden happened to be watching them and Jace was stunned that she hadn't noticed them before when they were getting dressed or when she was doing Mercy's hair. Looking closely, she could tell that the raised scars made a design, but Jason's arms were in the way and she couldn't tell what.

Pulling back to look at him, Mercy smiled, "Yes, I'm doing much better now. A little self conscious in a swimming suit with so many people, but the one piece suits didn't want to fit over my breasts. Linday and Jace said that this one was perfect though." He was still holding her off of the ground, so she wiggled her way down his body until her feet touched the ground. With no shoes on, her head was leveled with Jason's stomach and she looked up and up and up till she met his eyes. Her breasts were pressed against his groin from where she wiggled down and she winked before she backed up.

Grabbing a hold of his hips, she walked him backwards, then started pushing harder until she was running and jumping onto him, they fell with a splash into the poll. A throaty giggle ringing until it was cut off by the water. When they were underwater, Mercy kissed him again and ran her hand up his chest before she swam away from him to a corner of the pool. Round and around bodies she went as a few of the others joined them in the pool. Her hair flowed like a black river behind her in the water, caressing some of the people that she passed as she swam. Finally, she came up out of the water and gasped for a deep breath as she clung to the side of the pool laughing and waiting for Jason to find her. A few people surrounded her and starting asking questions, one of them the boy from lunch earlier that day. She felt someones hand in the pool of her hair, but couldn't figure out who it was and it made her uncomfortable. Someones leg brushed up against hers and she wasn't sure if that was an accident or not. Someone help... How do I get out of here? This is so uncomfortable. I'm scared. Help. They are touching me.

Clark and Linday watched Jason and Mercy for a few seconds then Linday kissed Clark’s cheek before leading him into the sauna. She had been looking forward to the sauna and they left the pool would be even more refreshing. Clark followed Linday without a word knowing what she wanted but as they walked away he caught a glimpse of Mercy’s back and frowned as he recognized the scars for what they were from his experience with Linday. Not long after he forgot about what he had seen as he and Linday had the sauna to themselves for the moment and didn’t waste any of it.

Jason chuckled and relaxed his arms enough to let her squirm her way back down to the ground a bit easier. “You look great and you defiantly made an impression that no one will forget anytime soon.” He grinned down at her as he felt the effects that her squirming was having on him. “Your mean you know that.” There was nothing but good natured teasing in his voice as he spoke. When she had him at the edge of the pool he raised an eyebrow as he looked down at her. “What you’re going to push me into the pool?” He was just able to finish the sentence before she jumped on him and made his fall backwards into the pool.

As they hit the water Jason reached up and ran his hands down her sides loving the feeling of her shin under his fingers. He returned her kiss and spun himself over as she swam away from him. He quickly lost her as a few people jumped in between them. After swimming to the bottom of the pool and pulling himself along he crouched on the bottom and used all his strength to push to the surface. After pushing his hair out of his eyes it only took a few seconds to guess where Mercy was. He quickly made his way over and moved between everyone before they could completely surround Mercy. “Calm down you guys. Give her some room, it is not like she is going to just disappear you can talk with her later.” He put his hand on Mercy’s shoulder and squeezed gently to let her know he was there for her but when he was finished speaking and people started to give her some space Jason moved a little closer to her and wrapped an arm around her waist. “Either you got faster or I am out of practice.” He leaned in and kissed her neck right over the tendon connecting it to her shoulder. “Later we can try the sauna if you want.” He knew nothing bad would happen in there even Clark and Linday would not go too far with a party going on outside.

Mercy smiled up at Jason when he came to her and made everyone else give her some breathing room without it making her into a bad person. Leaning her head against his shoulder, she sighed in contentment as he kissed her neck. She felt so relaxed with him, so happy, like that whole inside her had been filled, and now it was bursting because of these new friends, his family. And... she was now apart of it, she was his family. A flutter of awareness tingled in her stomach, she wanted to show him how close she wanted to be to him. Give everything to him.

Although they were floating in water and surrounded by people, she ran her hand across his stomach and up his side. The way she was touching him now was different than before, more intimate, more sexual. Raising her head up, she put her lips next to his ear and whispered in a low throaty voice, filled with love, longing, and arousal. "Jason... I love you." Moving in front of him, she looked into his eyes and placed a chaste kiss upon his lips. Pulling away she was biting her lip, her eyes half lidded and heavy showing him exactly what she was feeling. Her nipples hardened by her desire and she hoped that they weren't noticeable through her swimming suit.

Jason felt himself shiver as Mercy ran her fingers over his stomach and side. He closed his eyes and put his arms on the edge of the pool on either side of her as he leaned in a bit closer to her. Even after her fingers had past his skin still tingled for a few seconds as if her touch left its mark behind. He opened his eyes as she spoke and as she kissed him he smiled. He leaned in as he pulled his arms closer around her until he was able to kiss just below her ear. “I love you Mercy, I always have and always will.” He ran a hand up her back as he pulled back just far enough to move in to kiss her.

“Jason, we Mia is here.” Jason groaned as he heard the voice, he could feel his lips just barely brushing Mercy’s as he glanced up to see who it was. When he saw who it was and the look on their face the moment was lost and he looked back at Mercy. “I need to deal with this. I’m sorry.” He moved beside her before pulling himself out of the pool and standing so he was facing the kid who had come and found them. “Where is she?” Before the kid could answer Mia walked outside with a few of the others who had sided with her. “I am right here Jason.” Jason glanced over at her then back to the kid. “Get Clark and Linday they are in the Sauna.” His voice was low but still audible to the kid and Mercy if she was listening.

“So you invite the doll into the group and let her control you then you just decided to throw a party and only tell half of us?” Mia glared at him and most of the people around her were starting to believe what she was saying. “I mean really you preach unity and here you are having a party with only the part of the family that agrees with you. Does that seem unfair to anyone else here?” Unfortunately there were those who had already been at the party that were starting to wonder if Mia was right and it showed.

Jason took a few steps towards her but stopped just within arm’s reach, not trusting himself to get any closer to her. “Mia leave now because I cannot promise that you will leave here unharmed if you stay.” Mia just smirked and took a step closer to Jason. “I am not going anywhere.” Jason clenched his fists then turned his attention to the people who had followed Mia. “I don’t care why you are siding with Mia and it really doesn’t matter now.” He turned in a full circle making eye contact with as many people as possible. “Everyone listen up. We are ending this here and now. If you agree with Mia then grab your stuff and get out front because from now on you will not be part of the family.” There was a stunned silence with the music the only sound in the backyard. Jason turned back to Mia. “If you don’t take them and leave I will throw you all out myself starting with you.” He was pissed partly because of the mood that Mia had ruined but also because he felt she was forcing his hand in splitting the family into two which would cause tension for a long time he was sure.

Mai was to preoccupied with Jason to notice her, as was everyone else apparently. The only ones who noticed her movements where Jaiden and Jace, what they saw in her expression sent a shiver down Jaiden's back. She was as silent as a predator stalking her prey, moving in and out of the other people going unnoticed. Her posture had changed, no more fun loving, no more prim and proper. Her movements were sleek and graceful, deadly. She was like a phantom, there one minute, gone the next. Until she was directly behind Mia, completely unnoticed save for her aura when she released it.

Jason was doing exactly what Mercy feared and she couldn't have that happen, couldn't have him lose his family because of her. The battle lines have been drawn, and she was bringing hell to pay for the one who had ruined it. Her voice was dark and deep, a whisper on the wind, "Mia... Mia..." When the woman looked around, Mercy moved out of her possible vision. "Look at what you've done." She kicked the back of Mia's leg, bringing the woman to her knees and she grabbed her hair in a tight grip, her fangs seemed to be extended in her rage, a vampire to attack her victim. Everyone was looking on and this is the first time that Jason would see her like this, this lost to her anger. No one could stop her now, not without the consequences.

Tighter and tighter, she wound Mia's hair around her fist until the girls eyes filled with tears and she gave out a sharp cry. Mercy stared into her eyes, her own lavender gleaming with something unholy. Frightening. Demonic. "You want to know one thing about Doll's, Mia? We can cast down curses. Misfortune. Pain." Her lips were pressed close to Mia's ear, so that she would be the only one that could hear. And then she raised her voice so that everyone could hear. "Don't you see what you've done, Mia? Your selfishness and desire is tearing apart his family, one that I had always hoped he would have when I got sent away to Romania. Do you remember the family motto, Mai? I'm the one who taught him that."

She looked up at Jason, her eyes shinning with her intent. "I will show all of you now what it means when you hurt the one I love. Twice as hard." Her eyes glittered with darkness, she opened her mouth up and her fangs sunk into Mia's neck, hard and deep. Mia screamed when she was bitten, when Mercy's fangs pierced her flesh. She could feel it as Mercy swallowed, like a vampire taking blood. Mercy pulled away with a jagged tear, blood coating her fangs, her lips, and dripping down one side of her chin. She looked around at everyone, showing exactly what she would do. Exactly what the motto meant. "Twice as deep." When she finished speaking, she pushed Mia's face down to the floor by controlling her hair. "Stay on the ground like the betraying bitch that you are, Mia."

Letting go of Mai's hair, Mercy walked forward and stepped up next to Jason's side. Looking out at everyone she spoke. "I do not care if you accept me. I do not care if you like me. I need not your adoration or approval. However, I demand your respect, not for myself, but for Jason. He built this family and there was a reason why you followed him and not this self-centered child," she pointed to Mia as she said that. "He asks you to choose sides and that you can, but know, if you walk away with her, you have betrayed Jason. How strong is your loyalty? If you leave now, know that you will never be welcomed back. This is our creed: Twice as hard! TWICE AS DEEP!" Her voice was raised and high as she spoke the last, almost as if it were a warriors cry. Jaiden and Jace both raised up their voices, joining in the cry, "Twice as hard, twice as deep!" As people started to chant, Mercy looked up at Jason, a fierce love and a deep loyalty that passed through her mind, connecting her heart, and was shown seared into her soul.

Clark and Linday Walked out of the Sauna just in time to see Mercy stalk up behind Mia, they found each other’s hand and gripped tightly as they walked over to Jace and Jaidian. Jason looked down and saw Mercy as soon as she moved into his line of sight. For a moment Jason went to step forward but he stopped and just watched. He was fascinated and terrified at the same time as he watched Mercy bring Mia to her knees.

A shiver ran through him, Mercy had always been in control. Every move she had made was one she had decided to make but now he was seeing a whole new side to her. He was snapped out of his thoughts when she spoke for everyone to hear. He listened and when their eyes met he put his hands behind his back and nodded slightly not to give her permission since he knew it was not his decision to make Mia had sealed her fate herself. No he had only meant to show that he would do nothing to stop her while his eyes showed how much he would have liked to deal the punishment himself.

When Mia screamed someone moved to stop Mercy but Jason’s arm snapped out and pushed the girl back. “If we go easy on one then the family motto means nothing.” His voice was devoid of all emotion as he spoke to everyone but watched Mercy and Mia. As Mercy pushed Mia’s face to the ground Jason glared at the ones who had stood with Mia but none of them moved to help her. Jason stayed silent as Mercy spoke but his eyes scanned the crowd seeing how much affect her words were having on everyone there.

Clark and Linday added their voices to the chant. “Twice as hard, twice as deep!” They were soon joined by the majority of the others. There were a few shocked faces that took a bit longer to join in but Clark suspected that they had not seen anything like the violence Mercy just showed. He went over the list he had made of who was with Mia and as he looked at each one in turn he thought that most of them would stay but there were still a few who would leave with her.

Jason looked down at Mercy and took her hand. He saw the her fierce love and deep loyalty she had him but he also knew it would be reflected in his own eyes. “Twice as hard, twice as deep.” His voice was only loud enough for the few people around them to hear but he had not meant for them to hear it. He sank to one knee and resting his free hand on Mercy’s cheek he kissed her deeply. He tasted Mia’s blood but ignored it as he made sure Mercy knew how much she meant to him. When he broke the kiss he licked his lips clean as he stood up. “Quite!” He waited until everyone had quieted down before he turned back to Mia. “Get up Mia.” When she did not move right away he kicked her hard enough to force her to grunt as the pain washed over her. “Get your ass up before I pull you to your feet by whats left of your hair.” She moved to stand in front of them and glared at Mercy. “Take those who are loyal to you and get inside.” He looked at the people who were still behind her. “You leave after you take whats coming to you. No one leaves here without it.” He looked over at Clark as he and Linday stood with the twins. “Take a few people and watch them I will come to see them in a few minutes. Me and Mercy will get the tools for their punishment.” He walked through the crowd as they parted for him and Mercy.

When they got into the kitchen Jason stood in the kitchen for a moment before he walked into the hall and pulled to metal hangers from the closet before coming back into the kitchen. “I am going to brand each one with the family motto.” He looked up at Mercy to see what she thought of the punishment even as he started to bend the hanger into the right shape. “I know a few of them were cutters and I will not be responsible for introducing them to it again.” There was some pain in his voice not for all of them but there were a few that he had thought would be loyal.

After the brand was made he turned on the stove and walked into the hall. “Bring the first one in.” Jason waited by the stove as Clark came into the room with the first person. “Sit at the table and bare your arm.” There was a moment of hesitation before they sat down and put their bare arm on the table. Jason waited until the brand was at the right temperature before he picked it up by the handle and walked over to the table. Clark moved forward and held the person down when they saw what Jason was about to do. Not waiting for them to calm down Jason pushed the brand into their arm and used his free hand to hold their wrist down.

The scream could be heard outside but because of all the music no one but those at the party realized what was happening. When they heard the scream form the second person Jason branded they seemed to come alive again and the full implication of what happened sunk in. There was quite conversations all around the pool and not all of them were in favor of Mercy’s actions but no one wanted to leave. It was not for fear of what they would have to endure, no it was the fear of not having the group to turn to.

When the last brand was done Jason stood with it at his side until Clark came back to the kitchen. “They are gone.” Jason tossed the brand into the sink then sat down at the table. “Good, see what you can do about getting everyone to relax then just try and do the same.” Clark watched Jason for a moment then looked at Mercy before he answered. “I will see what I can do.” He left to go find Linday knowing she might have better luck with relaxing everyone then he would and he was sure that Jadien, Jace and Linday would have question about what had gone on inside. When Clark was gone Jason looked over at Mercy not sure what he wanted to say or how to say it. “I did the right thing, they could not stay after what they did.” He was trying to convince himself that he had done the right thing but even so it seemed like he was talking to Mercy.

When Clark joined them back outside, Jaiden shook his head, not wanting to know. He knew that they deserved whatever came to them. "You know, I can't decide if I should be in awe of Mercy or terrified. Maybe its a bit of both." He sighed and ran his hand down his face, "We all knew that this day would come between Mia and Jason, Mercy is just the one who made it happened faster because of Mia's jealousy. She wanted to be a power head in the group, to be Jason's woman, and we all know that it would never happen." When Jace put her hand on her brothers arm, he held onto her and pulled her closer.

Jace's voice was soft as she looked out at the others, her eyes nearly completely empty, only Jaiden, Clark, and Linday could hear. "I wonder though, what she had to go through to become that hard. Did you see her back? All those scars? What did she have to endure that taught her how to act that vicious? I fear for her, I really do. The look that she gave to Mia upon her betrayal to Jason, it seemed like she could have killed her." She shook her head, thinking, not wanting to give them the wrong impression. "I can relate to her though, she would hurt anyone who would hurt him, take all of the punishment herself, but never would she be able to hurt him." As she spoke, Jaiden tightened his grip on her, understanding completely. Jace however, had just told more about both of them then she had ever really revealed before. "I'm just not sure how it all proceeds from here. Not to mention, that Mia is even going to be more of a threat to Mercy. And we also have Stefan to worry about. I think we have to pull double duty on Jason and Mercy, when they are apart or together. Someone is going to go after them." Right after she said that, a shiver went down her spine, like a dark foretelling of what would come.

Inside, Mercy just stood and listened to Jason, feeling horrible about herself and putting him into this situation of loss. She blamed herself and wondered if it would have been better should she never have come back. "I'm sorry, Jason." Her voice was low, filled with pain, and she stood away from him, out of reach. "I never wanted for you to lose so much or to break up your family. All I have ever wanted is your freedom and happiness." Turning away from him, she rested her hands on the sink and looked in the window above it. Staring at herself as if she no longer knew who she was. "I never meant for you to see me that way. If you tell me to leave, I will do so and I will never return to darken your sight again." The words hurt to say and they clogged her throat with pain. Her heart felt like it was breaking and tears threatened to roll from her eyes.

Back outside, people were starting to get back into the mood and relax. A few were dancing, some were drinking, others were in the pool or making out with their partner of choice. Of course, there were still low conversations of what just happened, but it was doubtful that those conversations would go away anytime soon. It was clear that some were now frightened, some were intrigued, and a dark few even wanted to learn, see, and feel more.

Clark was glad when Jadien signaled that he didn’t want to know what had happened. It would make everything much easier if he did not have to tell anyone. “I don’t think even Jason knew what to make of Mercy at first.” As Jadien spoke of how Mercy had only sped things up Clark shook his head a bit. “Lets hope Jason knows that. He didn’t seem to be doing so good when I left him and Mercy.” Linday came over and hugged him from behind. Resting her chin on Clark’s shoulder she listened to what else was being said but kept her thoughts to herself.

“The scars must be connected to what happened at the theater. I mean they could have something to do with it. What are the chances of having scars like that and then the way she acted not being connected? ” Linday moved until she was standing with her back to the house. “I agree that she would defend him to the best of her abilities. With that being said imagine what Jason is ready to do for her.” Linday was not sure she wanted to know but she had felt she should bring the matter to everyone attention. Clark had listened to what Jace said and realized that she had just spoken about her and her brother for the first time that he could remember. He wanted to see if they would open up even more but he stopped himself from asking and tried to focus on the issues at hand. “Your right Jace, we can’t leave them alone unless someone is with them. We might have to convince Jason he needs someone with him but he should be fine with someone sticking with Mercy.” Linday kissed Clark’s cheek when he finished speaking. “I am sure we will convince him.”

Jason looked up from the spot on the floor he had been staring at when he heard Mercy apologies. He did not understand why she was saying sorry when she had just been protecting him. “Mercy its not your fault.” He got up and walked up behind her at her next words he closed his eyes and shook his head. The last thing he wanted was to lose her again. He reached out and put his hands over hers and he stepped up behind her so that if she tilted her head back it would res on his stomach. “I never want to lose you again Mercy. I lost you once already I am not sure what I would do if it happened again.” He ran his hands up her arms slowly savoring the feeling of its smoothness under his fingers. When he got to her shoulders he rested his hands there. He was not surprised to find that just touching her was putting him at ease. It was working slowly but it was something and he was grateful for it. “You are what gives me happiness and all freedom needs to be fought for I already know that.” He knelt down and kissed her neck as he ran a few fingers through her hair. “They way you acted, was that party form what happened to you when you were gone?” He did not want to push her since he was willing to wait until she was ready to talk herself but after what had happened he wanted some information if she would give it to him.

Clark had been watching as people started to relax and get back to the party for a few minutes before he spoke. “How many others do you think we will lose?” Linday looked over at him and saw the hollow look in his eyes. “No one else is going to leave.” She reached over and turned his head so that he was facing her. “Whatever happened to the others will not happen to anyone else.” She was not sure if she was even right but she hated to see Clark like this.

Jace shook her head, "those two are like yin and yang. The outer circle represents 'everything', while the black and white shapes within the circle represent the interaction of two energies which cause everything to happen. They are not completely black or white, just as things in life are not completely black or white, and they cannot exist without each other. The shape of the yin and yang sections of the symbol, actually gives you a sense of the continual movement of these two energies, yin to yang and yang to yin, causing everything to happen: just as things expand and contract, and temperature changes from hot to cold. Showing the many natural dualities— dark and light, female and male, low and high, cold and hot, water and fire, air and earth— are thought of as manifestations of yin and yang. Yin and yang are complementary opposites that interact within a greater whole, as part of a dynamic system. Yin, which would be Mercy, and yang, which would be Jason, are bound together as parts of a mutual whole." She paused in her long speech and looked at everyone in the group, hoping that she didn't appear crazy. "Does that make sense? Even separated by an ocean, they never stopped thinking of each other. They may have their misunderstandings because they have to relearn each other, but its like they are soul mates. You can't tell me that you haven't seen it too? The devotion, the way they look at each other. Their every action. Mercy was gone for five years and we may not have known her name, but we all knew exactly what she was and is to Jason."

Jaiden raised up one of his hands somewhat sheepishly, "I actually knew her name before she appeared. I knew that it hurt Jason so much to think and talk of her that I never brought it up to anyone." His sister looked at him and raised her eyebrow, "You never told me this." He couldn't really give any other response but, "I'm sorry."

When Linday brought up the idea of the connection between what just happened and how Mercy acted when she was questioned about being sent away, Jace tilted her head to the side and thought about it. "I think you are right, Linday. Her parents shipped her off to somewhere in Romania and she spoke about how she took punishment. It sounded like they wanted to take the very life out of her. I wonder if she had anyone to talk to while she was there or if she only experienced pain. It may have been hard for Jason while she was gone, but he at least had us. Mercy seems to have never had anyone and when she found Jason, she was taken from him." She shuddered and thought back to the scars on Mercy's back. "Did you see her scars? There had to have been hundreds of them. Most of them were lighter, like regular scars, but others were raised like she either had something shoved under her flesh or she was branded. I know that they make a pattern, but part of it was hidden either by her hair or Jason's arms."

Mercy shivered when Jason first touched her, as if electricity had been sent straight to her veins. Setting her emotions up from nothing to a boil. She waited until he finished speaking and at first she didn't say anything, until a heavy sigh passed from her lips. "To put it simply, yes. My parents wanted a doll, a living breathing doll that did what its puppet master told it to do. When I met you I became alive, I started to act and have opinions. I changed to much for them, stopped being their perfect model for the press. That is when they sent me away to Romania. Had it beaten, whipped, and branded into my flesh that I would be nothing more than a doll that danced upon their strings. A twisted tattoo branding me with scars, something that no one would ever see. They were wrong though, my parents, it didn't make me mindless. It filled me with so much rage, so much need to get vengeance. I watched, I learned through what they did to me, from what I saw them do to others. It was like hell, it made me into something twisted, but I would do it all over again, because it kept you safe."

Linday nodded slowly after listening to Jace’s speech. “I have seen it. You can see it whenever they are close to each other.” Clark nodded as he reached back and rubbed his neck. “We should do everything we can to give them the time to relearn each other.”

Linday was surprised that Jadien had not shared Mercy’s name with Jace. “He spoke to you about her?” She was interested to hear what Jason would have said to Jadien. “What did he say to you?” Jadien thought for a moment as he recalled the day that he and Jason had spoken about Mercy. "It was not long after Jason brought us into the family. You how he was back then, he let us in but I doubt he even thought about what he was doing or the family would be more than just the few we had then." He paused as he thought of how he could keep him and Jace out of the story, he would need to come clean to her later but not now with everyone around. I had gone out to meet up with him when Jace was out with you Linday. When I found him he was sitting on the hill on the far side of town looking towards, well I guess he was looking at Mercy's house but at that time I didn't know what he was doing there. Once I got there we just kind of sat around for a while talking about nothing until he told me that he needed to know if he could trust us." As he spoke of him and his sister he glanced at her to make sure she knew what he was getting at. "So we opened up and started talking about our pasts." He paused as he tried to find away around breaking the trust Jason put in him by telling him what he did. "He told me that her family took him in when he needed a home and he lived with them until Mercy left. As far as I know he had been living with them since his mother stabbed him and Mercy saved his life. It wasn't until after Mercy was sent away that Jason moved in with his aunt and we all know what his life has been like since then." Linday crossed her arms as she started at Jadien. "Okay that clears up a few things but everyone knows most of that so what else did he tell you." She flicked her gaze to Jace. "He didn't tell you any of this?" She was more surprised than anything and it showed in her body language as she asked.

Clark put a hand on Linday’s arm as he kissed her cheek as he tried to get her to calm down. “Try and get a better look at the scars if you two are around when she gets changed. I want to know what the design is, it might give us more to go on.” After taking a quick drink he thought about what else Jace had said. “We will just have to do our best to be there for Mercy if she wants us now that she is back but there is nothing we can do about what happened to her in Romania.”

Jason listened quietly as Mercy spoke not wanting to interrupt her now that she was talking about what had happened to her. As she mentioned the tattoo branded onto her he reached down and moved her hair out of the way so he could get a clear view of what had been branded onto her back. There was only a slight tightening of his hands since he remembered at the last moment that he was still holding onto Mercy's shoulder and he did not want to alarm her. The hand form her shoulder slide down her back slowly tracing the scars as he took in what they made when they were put together. He clenched his jaw to stop form saying anything as he tried to deal with the anger he felt. He remembered how smooth her skin had been and new there was a scar that not only marred her skin but it was just another attempt from her parents to force Mercy to be their doll. "It will never matter what they try to do to you. We both know that you will only be what you want to be and a doll is not something you will ever be." His touches stopped feeling like he was just tracing the scar and changed as he tried to show her that no matter what had been done to her it did not change how he felt about her. "I promised to be yours long ago and what they did to you over there will not change my mind. I love you Mercy and I always will." He kept moving his hands over her back then to her sides slowly.

After almost a minute of silence he moved his hands went to her shoulders and tried to turn her to face him as he spoke. “Mercy, you are back now and they will not hurt me. I will help you get the vengeance you deserve but until then I just want you to have the same happiness and freedom you gave me the strength to fight for.” He pulled her closer not caring if she was facing him or not, he just wanted to have her close. “Their pain will be twice as hard and twice as deep when we are through with them.”

Jaiden looked over at Jace and when her face was filled with hurt he kissed her temple, "I'm sorry, Jace. I never told you, I was just trying to protect you." Jace moved away from Jaiden and there was a noticeable discord in her feelings towards her twin at the moment. How could he? How could he tell and shame her like that? Why did he never tell her? Is that why Jason took to her, started treating her with care, or maybe it was pity. Everything she knew now seemed to fall through and she didn't know what to think. She knew that Linday and Clark did not know, but still, she felt so betrayed by Jaiden. She couldn't even look at her brother, but she had to hear what he was going to say.

Jaiden's expression fell and he kind of went catatonic even while he continued talking. "Honestly, I don't know if I'm betraying Jason or Mercy in saying this, but you seem to already know some of it. Mercy's parents are the President and Vice President of the Suou corporation. You know, the type of company that has their hands in almost everything. Jason once said that Mercy told him a story of her birth, how her father wanted a boy to be heir and wanted her mother to get an abortion when they found out she was a girl. However, it was already spread all over the tabloids about how they were expecting a child, so they couldn't do anything. When Mercy was born, her mother had complications and they had to remove her uterus, making it so that they could never have children again. Both of her parents blamed Mercy for that, but if she was the only child they could have, they would find a way to use her. They would never touch or hold her unless it was for publicity acts and she was raised by an Au Pair and strict teachers that taught her how she should act. Who taught her how to obey every command and order given to her by her parents, so that she wouldn't even really be human, nothing more than a doll that danced to their strings." He sighed and ran his hand over his face and the back of his neck, feeling the tension.

"Jason showed me a video that he had of her playing the violin at one of her parents shows. She was dressed up to the nines in what looked to be a royal Kimono, you know the kind that has layers after layers. She looked just like a doll, lifeless, even as she walked out on stage. Then she began to play, it was perfect. After she bowed to the crowd and left the stage, but on the side where no one saw, Mercy was being ridiculed by her parents for her performance. Her father slapped her for not showing any expression and Mercy only bowed to him, said thank you, and disappeared. It was the last time she was ever seen in the tabloids and I think she was only seven or eight. There were huge articles about how the star protege just disappeared. After that was when she met Jason, and you all remember that story, don't you?" He looked around at all of them, just to make sure, but refreshed their memories anyways.

"When they first met, Jason was a cutter, and that is how Mercy found him, slicing open his arm. She took the blade away from him and cut herself twice as hard and twice as deep as Jason did. Maybe it was to try to get Jason to stop, but maybe it was because she needed to find her own release. Who knows? But afterwards, they were inseparable. They seemed to find a reason to live in each other. I think when Jason's mom tried to kill him, that Mercy would not only die for him, but she would have died with him. Those two are bound on a deeper level that surpasses any type of connection I have seen. When Mercy's parents saw how alive Jason made her and they stopped being in command, they sent her away to Romania, trying to teach her that she could only do and have what they gave her. Even her life." His voice was low and hollow. Looking up, he stared at Jace as tears ran down her face, "I'm sorry I never told you, Jace. I didn't want to keep anything from you, but I didn't want you to hurt either. We've had it bad and it was really tough for you, but Mercy had it worse. I didn't want it to bring back memories that could hurt you and I didn't want you to just become her friend because you sympathize with her or even out of pity for her. I wanted you to choose on your own whether or not you liked the person that she is, despite her past."

Jace walked back up to Jaiden, raised up her hand, and slapped him hard across the face. It was so loud that even a few of the people around the pool stopped and payed attention to what was going on. Her voice was filled with venom as she spoke to him in a low controlled voice that only Linday and Clark could hear. "I know better than anyone that some secrets need to stay buried and that the past just needs to lay wherever it fell. Yes, I feel sorry for her. Yes, I hurt for them both. Neither of them never had anyone to help them through their pain until they found each other, but I always had you there with me. Always. No matter how bad it got. I don't judge people because of their pasts because I'm not a person that wants to be judged for mine. For ours." When she tried to move away, Jaiden grabbed her into a hug and held her tight against him even when she fought to get away, straight up until she calmed down. Just like he had done thousands of times before, he took her pain on as his own. "I'm sorry, Jace. Please forgive me." However, this time was different, this time, Jaiden was the one who had caused her pain and her anger, something he had promised himself that he would never do.

Mercy tried not to tense when Jason traced her scars, they were ugly and horrible a representation to her parents of what she was to them. But to her, she liked them. Turning around towards Jason, her eyes were on fire. "My parents may have tried to remind me of what I am to them, but to me, this scar means so much more than that. It was my survival when I had no one there with me. Each time a new one was made, it just etched my hatred for them even deeper. Made it stronger and I started planning on how I would take them down. How I would take away everything from them, the life that they have made for themselves. I'm not going to kill them, that would be far to easy. I'm going to get even. Little by little I've been buying them out, bankrupting them. I'm going to make them fall while I rise above them and I want you to be there with me, by my side, as I do that. We just have to play it carefully."

She stood up on her tip toes and pulled him down until his mouth was hard on hers, almost bruising in its intensity. Her body was hot, weeping, ready. For him, for everything that life would throw at them. Here in this moment, she just needed him, needed to show him, feel him, love him. "I love you too, Jason. Nothing could ever stop that." She needed to turn everything else off but him, only wanted to feel him against her, surrounding and around her. "I need you."

Clark and Linday watched as Jace moved away from Jadien even after he had apologized which had never happened before. The twins had always been like one, even from the first time Jason had introduced them to the group they had been united and always with each other. Clark felt a chill run down his spine and he felt a shiver run down Linday’s back a few seconds later.

Linday wanted to do something to help but she stayed still and listened to Jadien talk. She didn’t think that there was anything she could really do to help either of them at this moment. Clark stood close to Linday with his hand holding hers as they listened to what Mercy’s parents had done to her. He soon felt Linday squeezing his hand as they learned just how bad Mercy’s life really was. At the mention of the tape Linday seemed to remember something but even as Clark looked over at her with a questioning look she just waved it away not wanting Jadien to have to stop only to start again.

Clark was so surprised when Jace walked up and slapped her brother that he choked on his drink and had to cough a few times to recover himself. He listened to what she was saying as best as he could to what was being said and when Jace tried to move away from her brother he started to take a step forward only to be stopped my Linday stepping in front of him. “I think this is something they need to work out on their own love.” When Jace had calmed down Linday turned to face Jadien. “If you two want some time alone we will keep everyone out until your two are ready.” Clark spoke up then but kept his voice low so only Jace and Jadien could hear. “There is a key under the book on the dresser if you want the door locked.” Neither Linday nor Clark knew if it would help but they both knew they should offer.

Jason stared straight into Mercy’s eyes and couldn’t help but give her a hesitant smile as she started talking about what the scar meant to her. He wanted to get revenge on them but Mercy had always known her parents better than he could have ever dreamed of so nodding her held her and spoke. “I will be there with you to do everything and anything I can to bring them down.” His eyes lit with a light that had been dimmed by the days events but was back and burning hotter than before. He knew he would do anything for Mercy and getting back at her parents would just be an added bonus to being by Mercy’s side.

Jason put up no resistance as Mercy pulled him into her kiss. He did not care how hard they were kissing he just needed to be with her so he matched the pressure of her lips against his as his fingers found her back and the scar again but with a new understanding as they kissed. At her words one of his hands slipped down her back and cupping her ass he straightened and lifted her up with him. “I love you to and I want to you but not here.” He held her against him and started for the guest bedroom. Even before he had kicked the door closed behind them his hands were pulling at the strings of her bathing suit. By the time they had reached the bed he was hard and knew that he would be ready for her as soon as she wanted him.

Without saying anything else, to them, Jaiden nodded taking up the offer. He picked Jace up off her feet, knowing that she wouldn't willing go with him right now. He threw her over his shoulder and carried her all the way into the house with her hands banging on his back and her swearing him up and down. He walked in just in time to see Jason carrying Mercy into a room. God, this night was turning out horrible for him, he knew that he never should have opened his mouth because it would upset Jace, but he was only trying to protect her and keep his word to Jason. Why couldn't Jace see that?

He carried her past the guest bedroom to the other end and side of the hall to Clark's room. When he got there, he opened the door, slammed it shut with his foot, grabbed the key and locked the door. Knowing how delicate she was right now, he put her down on her feet instead of tossing her onto the bed. She didn't need anymore damage by him then she already had tonight. Jace tried to hit him again when her feet hit the floor, pounding her fists on his chest. "How could you? How could you, Jaiden?" Tears streamed down her cheeks as she yelled at him. Digging the whole deeper, like putting salt on an open wound. Jaiden let her, not doing anything to defend himself. When she kept on saying it over and over, he lost it. His fist connected with Clark's wall and he broke a hole into it, "Because I love you! Damn it, Jace! I love you. I would never do anything to hurt you or cause you pain and that is why I didn't tell you. I didn't want you to remember, I didn't want you to feel anymore pain, I didn't want to betray your trust or Jason's. Why can't you understand that? I would do anything for you. Anything at all."

He pulled his fist out of the wall and walked away from her to sit on the bed. Putting his head in his hands, he sighed and it was filled with so many different emotions. He was hopeless, weak, tired. "It's because I know exactly how Jason feel's for her, Jace. I know it exactly, all the way to my bones. That obsession as if you can't live without the other person. Wanting something that I can't have, I'm only able to sit by and watch, knowing that having this feeling is wrong. Denying myself everything. It's why I never told you, because I see something in Jason that lives and breathes inside of me. His feelings for Mercy are like my feelings for you. I know its wrong, Jace. I know it is, but fuck, we've been through so much together. It has always been us, just us." He shook his head and let his hands fall from his face, shoulders slumped, he looked completely defeated.

Inside her heart, Jace knew it was true. She knew because she felt the same way and she even knew that it was wrong. Even after everything that had happened to her, even with her hatred for men, she could never live without him. Jaiden. Her brother. Her twin. She knew that one day this talk would come, this fight, this talk. The truth of who they really were to each other and what they meant. Jaiden didn't tell her, because he knew that she would see Mercy in herself. She walked over to him and sat down next to him on the bed, putting her head on his shoulder. Her only way to apologize because words just couldn't form. When he put his arm around her waist, she fell back onto the bed with him and they laid there. Loving each other until the world would stop, but knowing, that there wasn't a damn thing that they could do about it. Jaiden looked over at the wall he had punched and rolled his eyes, "Damn, I'm going to have to owe Clark for his wall." His voice was low and sarcastic, Jace could do nothing but laugh, feeling though everything was back to rights in their world, except for their love.

Mercy's heart was beating so hard and fast against her chest that she was surprised if Jason couldn't feel it. When they got to the room and he started to undress her of her meager clothing, she knew that this would be it. She pulled his trunks off of him and his erection sprang to life in front of her face. Pulling him down onto the bed with her, she rolled over on top of him and started to kiss him with everything she had. Her lips trailed down his neck and across his chest while her hands roamed, trying to touch every part of him. Her small hands found his shaft and even though she couldn't wrap her hand completely around him, she stroked. Her free hand touched every part of him that she could reach.

Touching him made her blood boil, run like molten lava, she felt so hot. Could feel the moisture starting to pool down low between her legs, but she had never had sex before, only heard about it and read up on it. Knew that the first time was supposed to hurt, but she could only start it like this, unprepared. Crawling her way back up his body with kisses, licks, and love nips, her mouth was back over his. She saddled his hips and rubbed her virginal sheath over him without having him enter her, so soon she could feel her body tightening with the need for release and when it came, she impaled herself down his shaft. A sharp cry that was part pain and part ecstasy escaped from her mouth as he broke past her barrier. She stilled on top of him, looking down into his eyes, and waited until the pain eased. But her body was so tense after that she couldn't bring herself to move, unsure of what she should do, yet wanting to continue. "Jason, I don't want to stop, I want to make love, but I can't move."

As Mercy pulled him down onto the bed he reached out and as she rolled on top of him he ran his hands down her sides then up towards her breasts. He cupped them in his hands and ran his fingers over her nipples as he kissed her. As soon as she her lips left his and started to move down his body he started to caress every inch of her body he could reach. His eyes had drifted closed as she moved farther down him but when he felt her soft fingers on his hard on he opened his hands and used one arm to push him up as the fingers of his other hand ran through her hair. He let out a few groans of obvious pleasure as she stroked him and he hardened with each stroke. “God Mercy.. that feels.. amazing.”

As she started her way back up his body he knew that what had almost happened the night before was going to happen now. His hands moved down from her hair and over her shoulders then started to caress her breasts as she moved higher. Jason smiled even as he shivered at her love nips. He kissed her deeply the instant her lips touched his and moaned as he felt her lips rubbing the head of his shaft. He sensed she needed to do the act herself and so he did his best to hold still even as his hips twitched. He thought she would never take her inside him but just as it thought it she impaled herself on his shaft and his hands tightened their grip on her breast but relaxed instantly as his cry of ecstasy at feeling her tight sheath clenching him keeping him deep inside her.

He opened his eyes as he heard her speak and gave her a gentle smile as he sat up slowly careful not to move his hips anymore as he looped one arm behind her and used the other to roll them over. “Just relax and I will make love to you.” He set her down on the bed gently and used both arms to steady himself as he slowly pulled out of her until just the head of his shaft was still inside her. He leaned down and kissed her as he thrust back inside her and stopped when he was about halfway in and waited for a few moments to let her get used to his size before he pulled out and thrust back in just as slowly. He kept going at the same pace a few inches at a time until he was completely inside her. He started to kiss and nip her neck as he pulled out and thrust back in a bit faster than before but kept going until he was fully inside her. He kept up the new pace for a few strokes and when he thought she was ready he would move a bit faster.

Linday had waited for the twins to head inside before she laid her head on Clarks chest and let out a deep sigh. "You okay?" Clark ran his fingers through her hair and then down her back as he asked. "Ya, I am fine. Its just that I think I have seen the tape that Jadien was talking about?" Clark stiffened a bit and looked around. "Yes, but before you say anything else lets go inside and we can watch the hall from the living room while we talk." Linday was confused for only a split second before she detached herself and they both walked inside. Once they were seated in the living room and facing the hall so they would be able to stop anyone from heading to the bedroom Clark got up and looked into the kitchen before he looked down to the bedroom and frowned. "Did you guys close the door of the guestroom?" Linday saw the look on his face as he sat down again but shook her head. "No, is it closed now?" Clark chuckled and nodded. "Ya, I have a feeling Mercy and Jason have claimed it. So you were saying about the tape?" Linday was silent for a moment as she tried to get her thoughts in order then spoke. "Ya the first few times, actually it might have been the day that I went over to Jason's place so that would have been the day my family went to welcome him. Anyway I walked into his room and there was a box full of tapes stacked inside but they looked home made like there were titles but they were like first birthday, recital. I know it sounds stupid now but I just thought that they were from Jason's family." She stopped talking and Clark ran his fingers through his hair as he realized what she was getting at. "So your thinking that they were not of Jason at all and actually of Mercy?" Linday sighed and relaxed a bit into the couch. "Yes, we all know that Jason's family was not big on making home videos and I mean first birthday? Who did he know well enough that when he left he would take home videos with him." Clark held up his hands. "I believe you anyway he used to spend hours in his room and his aunt just said she thought he was watching movies from the sounds she heard when he came to the door." Linday got up and walked around a bit before stopping and looking at Clark. "But who would actually film her? I mean I guess it could have been her parents but that goes out the window now that we know one of the tapes has her father slapping her." Clark listened and when she was finished he looked over at her. "So who made them?" Linday looked over at him and wanted to hit him. "How should I know?"

There was pain, it wasn't excruciation, but it still hurt. When Jason rolled her over, she could feel how tightly bound to him she was and she knew that she needed to relax. As he went slow, she got used to taking him in inch by inch, and when he was fully sheathed inside of her once more, it didn't hurt. As he started to move faster and deeper inside of her, she could feel that coming spiral of pleasure, it was higher than just the physical one she had last time, and this one went all the way into the spiritual as she shattered apart, screaming his name. Hips moving undiluted underneath him, sheath clenched even tighter than before, her nails scoring down his back as complete ecstasy came pouring in. She was both exhausted and energized at the same time. The weight on top of her made her shiver with pleasure, loving the feel of him flesh to flesh. She could feel the slight trickle of blood that signaled the loss of her virginity and she loved it. Loved him.

Jaiden and Jace walked out of Clark's room, putting the key back where it belonged. They met Clark and Linday out in the living room. Back in sync as if nothing had happened, they were holding hands when they came upon the scene. For some reason, Mia showing up had gotten everyone's tempers up and cause multiple problems. That woman always did try to stir up trouble and seeing the issues that Mercy and Jason had to face just made everyone look at their own, at least that is what Jaiden thought. They came in at the last part of their conversation and Jace tilted her head to the side, "You know, I think that we should see them. I wonder if Mercy even knows that they exist. Why don't we all go back to Jason's house after the party and whenever they are finished? Jason has to go there anyways to change clothes." Jaiden nodded his head and looked at Clark, "We should start sending people home now. It's been one hell of a long day."

Jason knew almost right away that he was going to have trouble holding off the orgasm that had already been building inside him. As he thrust inside her He felt his orgasm building but the pleasure moved through him. He was right on the edge when she went over the edge and screamed his name. Jason let go and let himself go pulling her closer to him as he drove in deep on last time before his seed flowed her as her sheath clenched around him holding him deep inside her. Jason was breathing heavily as he pushed himself back up onto his elbows since he had not been able to hold himself up as he came. When he could see her face he smiled and brushed his fingers down her cheek as he kissed her lips gently. “Thank you Mercy.” Smiling he pulled himself out of her then started to kiss and nip down her body similar to what she had done to him before.

Stopping just above her sheath he smiled at the sight of a small amount of blood as it confirmed that he had been her first just like she had been his first. After a moment he leaned in and licked from the bottom of her slit up to the top. He worked slowly but by the time his tongue brushed her clit there was not a trace of blood left on her. He licked her clit a few times before kissing it gently and climbing back onto the bed. He lay down beside her and smiled as his fingers ran over her body almost teasingly. “I would love to just lay here with you but we should get dressed.” He kissed her once more before he slipped on his trunks and went to the door. “I will be back in a moment.” He clacked the door open and made sure no one was insight before he slipped across the hall and grabbed his clothes from Clark’s room before he went back into the guest bedroom. He slipped out of his trunks and quickly got dressed before he went to help Mercy. When they were both dressed he grabbed his coat and slipped it on. “I need to go to my place when the party is over. I can’t wear theses for another day.”

Clark looked up a bit surprised that Jace and Jadien were there already. “It gives us a reason to go but who is bringing up the topic of the tapes?” Linday shrugged. “We can play it by ear.” Linday nodded at Jadien’s words, it had been too long already and the sun was still up. “Makes sense, when Jason and Mercy get out of the guestroom me and Jace can get changed.” Clark shrugged and stood up. “I will let everyone know but we might as well go when everyone is ready. I think a few of the family were thinking of staying the night here so they can watch the place while we are gone.” He headed out of the room and towards the back of the house. Once outside he turned down the volume of the music and let everyone know that the party was going to wrap up for the day so everyone could get some rest. There were a few people who were disappointed but most seemed to understand and they started to clean up.

Jason walked down the hall with Mercy as Clark came back in nd told the others that everyone was cleaning up. “Anything wrong?” When Linday smirked at him he reached p and fixed his hair which was still a bit wild from what had just happened. Linday just shook her head smiling. “No everyone is fine. We just figured that it has been a long day so we are shutting down the party early tonight.” Clark spoke up when Jason seemed to be fine with the decision. “We should help out, once everyone is ready we should head to your place Jason. You need to get some clean clothes.” This got a laugh from Jason thinking that Clark didn’t know the half of it. Linday and Clark left the room and Jason gave Mercy’s hand a quick squeeze before he headed off to help out.

About half an hour Clark locked up the house and everyone piled into the cars. The drive to Jason’s home was only a few minutes so before long they cars parked in front of a nice two story brick house. As Jason opened the door he slipped out of his boots and set them against the wall just inside the door before he headed for the hardwood stairs that matched the wood floors. The house was obviously one of the older on the block but it was well taken after. There were a few pictures of Jason over the years and his Aunt but other than one or two pictures of his grandparents there was almost know other pictures of Jason’s family. Most of the other pictures were of his Aunt and her friends. As the trend continued upstairs it was obvious that Jason had not tried to change how his aunt had things in all the years he had lived with her. “In here, make yourselves comfortable this should only take a few minutes.” He held open his door and waited for everyone to go inside before he walked in and closed it behind him.

The room was that of a typical teenager boy. There a few pairs of pants and shirts on the floor by his bed but for the most part it was clean if not a bit chaotic with cds and magazines lying all over the place including his bed. The only place that had some sense of order was the shelfs that sat beside his tv on the opposite side of the room as his bed. It had the trophies and medals that he had won through the years since he had always joined the school track teams when asked. On the shelf above it there was a picture of Mercy and a notebook that it sat on.

Jason walked to the closet and started digging through the mass of bags and boxes as he looked for a bag that he could carry his clothes in. He pushed on box out of the closet and as Linday saw it she nudged Clark. “Hey Jason whats in that box?” Jason glanced back at it and shrugged not quite taking the time to really remember what was in the box before he spoke. “I don’t remember take a look if you want.” He grabbed the duffel bag that had been under the box and started to pack up most of his clothes since he doubted he would spend much time here anymore.
