Dresden got to the shore with her and his friends started making a big deal out of what happened, even though Dresden started insisting nothing really happened. Which was mostly true since he and Angel hadn't gone the whole way. One of his friends Put an arm around him and pat him on the back, Dresden just raised an eyebrow at him and smiled shaking his head. "Seriously guys nothing really happened." he said with a chuckle.
 
Upon reaching the shore, Angel slowly waded out of the water before standing in the sand and beginning to squeeze out her hair of any water before she looked up to see Dresden's friends heckling him and she smiled gently. Shaking her head in amusement, she moved further up the shore. "Dresden telling the truth." she told his friends. "We didn't do anything sexual." Though she was lying about not doing anything sexual, she didn't want them knowing and she hoped that Dresden would understand. While she finished squeezing out her hair, some of her friends rushed over while giggling and began asking about what she had been doing. "I swear, we didn't do anything." she told them.
 
Dresden understood that she didn't want anyone to know, he didn't like lying to his friends. But they could always tell when someone told him to lie because he would frown. Knowing this, Dresden suppressed a frown and shrugged. "Its as she says, nothing really happened." he said again, sticking to the part he felt was true so his friends wouldn't pick up on anything. Eventually they gave up prying for information about if things did happen and asked what DID happen. Dresden idly wondered if he should let them know Angel had agreed to be his girlfriend. He wasn't sure how she would feel about letting everyone know at this stage.
 
Angel relaxed a bit when they all finally backed off in their questioning and she smiled before moving over to Dresden and standing at his side, slipping her hand into his while letting her cheek rest against his arm. "Well... what did happen was some talking and we... well, we agreed to go out together." she said softly, a slightly shy look on her face before she looked up at him with a gentle smile. She felt a light blush form on her face and she gently squeezed Dresdens hand.
 
Dresden watched her come over, he broke out into a grin when she admitted they were going out now and he gently squeezed her hand back. His friends made cat calls and whistles at the news and Dresden shoved the nearest one away and they all laughed. "So what's next on the agenda of Beach time, or did we miss out on all the fun?" Dresden asked the others.
 
Angel blushed a little more at the sounds his friends were making and she smiled while holding Dresden's hand, entwining her fingers with his. Her friends were all laughing at them and smiling at the couple. Hearing Dresden's question, Sara moved forward and spoke up. "Well, we still can built a bonfire and roast hot dogs. Andy brought some." she said, glancing back at one of Angels friends who was getting friendly with one of Dresden's. Andy was an Italian girl with long black hair and dark brown eyes.
 
Dresden grinned when he saw the friend was his buddy Jack. Jack was sort of the shy guy of their group and had to be talked into coming here, he had been convinced that none of the girls that were going to talk to him. Dresden wondered if he had missed the part where Jack glanced around to see who she was talking to before realizing it was him. He figured he must have because he was smiling and chatting with her. "Alright then, let's start building that bonfire. Oi! Jack! You and Andy dig out the hot dogs and get them ready to get cooked." he said to the two. Dresden squeezed Angel's hand then went with the guys to start building the bonfire.
 
Andy looked over at Dresden as he called to Jack and she smiled before looking at Jack and grasping his hand. "Come on." she said with a smile. With a gentle tug, she stood and led the way over to one of the coolers that Angels friends brought. Angel felt him squeeze her hand and she grinned up at him. "I'll help them." she told him before watching him go with his friends to build the fire. Turning, she ran over to Andy to help get the hot dogs ready. She searched through a bag and pulled out several bags of buns as well as some ketchup and mustard which she set on top of one of the coolers.
 
Dresden was asked more questions. "So what really went on? did you get some?" one of the guys insisted. Dresden rolled his eyes and made a growl like sound. "nothing happened man, lay off before you make me look like an asshole to her." he said, sounding annoyed. His friend held his hands up in surrender and backed away a little. "Alright, sorry didn't mean to push." his friend said before getting back to work. Once the fire pit was ready they lit it up and waited for the flames to spread. Dresden watched Angel as she got all the food ready, he smiled when their eyes met.
 
Angel sat down on a cooler and helped get the food ready to be cooked. One of her friends had fetched some long forks that are used for cooking things in a fire and they began getting everything ready to be cooked. While she opened one of the packs of hotdogs, she glanced over at Dresden and smiled gently as she set the pack aside and handed one of the forks to his friend who was helping. It didn't take them too long before they gathered up the supplies and carried them closer to the fire and began handing them out to the others.
 
Dresden accepted his fork and hot dog then when the fire was hot enough held it out over the flames, waiting a while before turning it slowly. He smiled a knowing smile when Angel sat next to him and he gently held her hand with his own free one. (I can't think of more to put, perhaps conversation between the friends...but...eh. Drawing blanks on that X_X)

After handing out the forks, Angel moved to Dresden's side and she sat with him in the sand, holding her fork out into the fire. Feeling him grab her hand, she looked over at him and smiled while squeezing his hand gently and she leaned into his side a little. She could hear their friends chattering together and laughing. "I'm glad I came today." she told him with a smile. "I definitely had some fun. Are we still going to your friends place after here?" she asked, gazing up at Dresden curiously.
 
Dresden kept his eyes on the fire as he felt her warmth next to him, this girl made him feel really good and wanted. When she asked him where they were going after he looked at her curious eyes, he smirked at her and his eyes turned fiery with passion. "Truthfully I'd really love to take you to my place after this...but I don't want to press you so we'll probably go to my friends after. We can all pass out watching movies on his home theater set up." he said in a soft husky tone, he gently rubbed his thumb over her hand, wondering if his touch excited her as much as hers did him. The friend they were going to stay with looked at the two of them and laughed. "Hey now new love birds I hope you don't plan on screwing on my couch while were all watching movies" he said jokingly, the other guys snickered and Dresden chuckled a little, though he seemed a bit peeved his friend had interrupted his moment with Angel. "I definitely won't grudge you if you want to go to my place..." Dresden said to her softly so the others didn't hear.
 
Angel looked over at him as he smirked at her, seeing the fiery passion within them and she blushed lightly while smiling at him. She liked how he was so considerate of her feelings and it made her relax a little more and she rested her head against his shoulder. Even though she didn't really show it or say anything, his touch did excite her as much as hers did him. She was relaxing while cooking her hot-dog when his friend spoke up and she looked over at his friend while blushing a little at what he said and the others laughed. Sniffing slightly, she turned her head before speaking. "So what if we were?" she asked his friend. "I'm sure it would be the most action that couch saw in a long time." Behind her, several of her friends began giggling. Hearing Dresden speak up, she turned to face him and smiled gently. "I'm fine with either one really." she told him.
 
At Angel's comment Dresden's friends all went "OHHHH!" like the friend had just been insulted and started laughing. The friend blushed and said nothing. Dresden titled his head against hers and grinned. "Even if you're fine with either one, I want you to choose. I'd like my house personally, but it would be easier to behave with the others around." he said softly, keeping his voice so only she could hear him. He spoke a little louder to his friends now. "I'm not sure I trust that couch his parents always struck me as a randy pair." which made the guys make sounds of disgust and laugh even harder, he smirked a bit.
 
As Dresden's friends laughed, she grinned and rested her head against Dresden's shoulder while watching his friends. Feeling his head against hers, she glanced over at him with a small smile while he spoke softly to her so that the others sitting around them couldn't hear. "Well... How about we go to your friends place for a little while before going to yours?" she asks. She smiled a little wider as he spoke up and she giggled while leaning in and softly nuzzling Dresden's neck while everyone laughed. "Now Dresden, we shouldn't make fun of him too much." she said through her giggling.
 
Dresden smiled at her words. "Sounds like a plan love" he said for her ears only. Then speaking louder he imitated Gollum from Lord of the Rings perfectly. "Awwwh mesa so sorryyyy." he said in imitation. The guys chuckled in response to this. Their hotdogs were ready by this point so everyone started putting them in buns and dressing them up to eat. One of Dresden's friends stuck his hotdog in one and said suggestively. "Man I love sticking my hot dog in some buns...wait what?" he said, feigning ignorance as the guys chuckled.
 
Angel nodded before grinning when he imitated gollum from Lord of the Rings and she giggled while nuzzling his neck. Once their hotdogs were done, she blew on hers for a moment to cool it down before placing it into a bun, putting a little mustard on it with some ketchup. When Dresden's friend suggestively spoke about sticking his hot dog in some buns, she giggled for a moment before noticing that he had caught Ben and Leon's attention, smiles forming on the gay couple's faces. "Really?" Ben asked, "I love sticking my hot dog in some buns as well." This caused all the girls to pause and look at each other before beginning to laugh.
 
The friend paused about to bite into his hot dog then raised an eyebrow at the gay ones. "Sorry there boys but my buns are off limits and my preferences include that kind there." he said, indicating a friend of Angel's who had a small bubble butt. Dresden said under his breath to Angel. "That's bold for him considering he actually has crushed on that friend of yours for a while." he smirked and said out loud in a playful voice. "I dunno man those buns might be out of your reach." he said with a grin, the other guys chuckled.
 
Ben shrugged slightly with a grin before taking a big bite of his own hotdog, a lewd grin on his lips as he wiggled his eyebrows at Dresdens friend. When he indicated to one of Angel's friends, several people looked over. It was Natasha, one of Angels oldest friends. She did indeed have a bubble butt that many of their group of friends were jealous of. As Dresden whispered to her, Angel chuckled lightly and smiled while shaking her head. "Then why doesn't he make a move? She's currently single and looking." she said to him before he spoke up, making her smile again.
 
The friend got up and dusted off his hands, then walked over and sat next to Natasha, Dresden had known Zack since they were kids, he had crushed on Natasha since they were little but never made a move until now apparently. "Hello there beautiful" he said with a playful grin. Dresden raised his eyebrows and looked at Angel, wondering what she made of how events might transpire. The guys all went "oooooo" really low, which made Zack go a little red but he kept his grin up and a confident appearance.
 
Angel watched in curiosity as Zack stood and approached Natasha, slowly taking a bite out of her food. Natasha was in the middle of putting ketchup on her hotdog when Zack spoke up and she turned to look at him, arching an eyebrow at him. "The names not beautiful." she said seriously before smiling. "It's Natasha. You're Zack right?" she asked, smiling at him while shaking her slightly messy hair back over her shoulders. She noticed he went a little red and she giggled softly.
 
"Your name might as well mean it since you are." he said with a smile. "Yes I'm Zack." he said, he seemed to hesitate, unsure how to continue, he glanced at the other guys but they pretended to be totally focused on their hot dogs. Dresden shook his head and hoped Natasha would go easy on poor Zack. He voiced this to Angel softly, also adding the guy had a hard time starting up a conversation but was fun to talk to once the ball got rolling. "I've known him since first grade." Dresden said with a light smile.
 
Natasha giggles at what he said about her name and she turned to face him completely. "I thought so." she said with a nod before grinning at him. "Aren't you in my bio class? I think you've been in at least two of my classes every year since second grade." Angel watched the two with a small smile before looking at Dresden as he spoke about his friend and she nodded in understanding. "Well, it seems like they're hitting it off pretty well." she told him.
 
Zack smiled a little when she said that, Dresden knew that Zack had crushed on her the moment she walked in the door. He still remembered that day which he whispered in detail to Angel. Telling her about how Zack had been convinced she was a princess, and when he heard her first name he had triumphantly declared to Dresden "See? she's a princess from Russia" though to this day Dresden never quite understood how Zack knew her name was russian in origin. "Yeah we've had a lot of classes together over the years, you always were the first to volunteer for anything that got you in front of the class." he said with a smile.
