She lifted up her head and glared at him. "Do you know what you put me through you bastard?" Her fist flashed forward and connected to his cheek, downing him instantly. "Do you know what your selfish actions have done to those who loved you?" She was screaming at him with tears rolling down her cheek. She turned and ran to her room, slamming and locking the door behind her. She landed on her bed and cried into the pillow, all of her pent up sorrow suddenly being unleashed from the bottle inside. She picked up her head only to look at Nathan's wooden sword, hanging above her bed, from the day that he had first kissed her.

(Last post then I'ma get to bed lol. G'night...unless you manage to post once more before I finish replying to some other paused RPs.)

Nathan rubbed his cheek thoroughly as he felt the fist connect to his face. "D-Damn that hurts..." He said as he wiped some blood from his cheek. He stood up and looked around before following where she ran off to. "If she still has the same room as three years ago..." He said to himself as he walked over and began to knock on her door. "Synthia? Its me. Look...just come out here...please let me explain..." Now it seemed that the tables were reversed for him...this time he was trying to get her to come out of her room.

( Yea I'm tired too )

She didn't get up from her bed, still crying into the now soaked pillow. She curled up around it, slowly regaining her composure and wits. Her body shuddered from each new wave of sadness as it all emptied from her body. Several hours later, after she had finally stopped, she sat up and removed her armor. She changed into a dress she pulled without looking at from her dresser for the feast tonight, as the king had instructed. She shuffled over to her desk, and taking a handful of water from the bowl there, splashed her face repeatedly. "Come on, your a fighter, fight this Syn..." She only then noticed it was the blue one she wore the night of Nathan's disappearance...

Nathan had fallen asleep as he waited for Synthia to exit her room. He leaned against the wall, snoring lightly as he slept soundly...unaware of him being late to his own feast.

(Sorry for a one liner >_< I still haven't been able to sleep.)

Unlocking the door and walking out into the hall, she looked down at the sleeping Nathan. "What should I do..." She thought, biting her lower lip. She decided to just wake him up, and with a kick to the side, sent him sprawling and coughing as he regained consciousness. "Your late to your own feast, master." She remained stiff and walked down the hallway, heading to the feasting hall. Her blue dress fluttered around behind her as she left him to follow or go, again.

Feeling the kick to the side, he flew off hard until he hit the wall, causing a vase on the wall to fall and hit his head. "Ow ow ow!" He said as he rubbed his head before looking to see Synthia begin to walk off into the feasting hall. Nathan grumbled as he stood up and began to walk after her. "Damn Synthia...a simple shaking of the arm could have woken me up you know." He grumbled as he walked behind her.

She remained silent as they went down the stairs to the hall. After turning a last bend in the wall, she stopped at the wooden door. "Just be nice..." She mumbled, though if it was for Nathan or herself was a mystery. She opened the doors and walked in, heading toward her spot to the left of the king. She sat down at her spot and rested her hands in her lap, waiting for the food to be served.

Nathan walked in and sat down beside Synthia as the king began to talk to his guests about his son and his return. Nathan remained quiet unless he was spoken to, and his eyes occasionally trailed to look at Synthia, but were averted quickly whenever she'd catch him. When the food was brought in, Nathan smiled as he looked at it all. "Wow...I haven't had food like this in a long time. Its been a while since I didn't have to hunt for food I wanted haha." He began to immediately dig in.

She began to eat quietly, trying to ignore the loud, beast-like eating noises coming from Nathan. She looked the other way as she bit into an apple, tearing half of it away in one bite. "At least try to act like a prince..." She mumbled under her breath, finishing up the apple and picking up a muffin. The feast continued long into the night, filled with more food and spirits. Synthia drank more then normal, asking for more win every half-hour or so, until she was sluggish.

Nathan looked at her when she became sluggish and rested a hand on her shoulder. "Jeez...are you drunk or something?" He slapped her back and smiled to her in a friendly manner. "Cmon! Eat more! It'll give ya less of a hangover in the morning!" HE said cheerfully before holding a bottle of wine out to her. "Cmon, drink up snake girl."

Her eye was glazed over as she turned her head to face him. "You destroyed.... my... dreams." She slurred out slowly, before she passed out, hitting her head on the table. Her whole body went limp, staying up in her chair only by inches.

"W-What...?" He said silently. Even though she passed out, the party still went on...she wasn't the only one drunk there. Sighing, he picked her up and held her in his arms as he walked out of the feasting hall. Walking down the hallways, he found her room and entered it before laying her down in it gently. "What dreams..." He murmured to himself before pulling the covers over her. "Good night Synthia." He said to her before turning to leave.

"No...not again..." She mumbled out, turning out to grab his pant's leg. She held on, tightening her grip if he tried to pull away, and relaxing when he came closer. "Don't leave...not again..." Her tail flickered around under the covers.

Nathan blinked when he heard her. She grabbed his pants leg and looked down to see it. "Don't leave? I'm just going back to get more food....but...if you want me to stay." He shrugged and sat down beside her on the bed. "Don't move around too much. You'll get a hell of a hangover."

She sighed softly, still out of it, and let go, nuzzling into her pillows. She soon fell into a deep sleep, now oblivious to everything but drunken contentment.

Seeing she was finally asleep, Nathan scowled and patted her head. "I wonder what happened to your eye while I was gone..." He said, noticing the eyepatch. Shrugging, he patted her head gently and moved her banes out of her face before getting up to head to his room to sleep for the night.

When the sun finally rose that morning, Synthia growled softly and sat up in her bed, holding her head. "Last time I get drunk..." She shook her head and her natural resilience to toxins kicked in, clearing away the fog of her mind. Standing up, she undressed and searched her closet for something new to wear, eventually deciding upon a leather vest and some cloth breeches. She went over to the water bowl and slid her eye patch off, cupping some water in her hand to wash out the area.

Nathan awoke in the morning with a yawn. Looking over to see the two maids in his bed, sleeping and naked, he remembered last night and just grunted as he stood up and began to put his clothes on. "Get to work ladies. I've got something to do." He said before winking to them. They got dressed and went back to work after Nathan left to go see Synthia. He knocked on her door. "Hey, Synthia you awake yet?"

She grunted just loud enough to be heard, "Yea." She walked over to the window and let the air dry her face and her out. She sighed softly at the tingling of the near-dead flesh around her eye reacted to the cold of the wind and hot of the morning sun. There was a long red slash across the spot, which the eye-patch covered effectively.

He opened the door and walked inside before looking to see her at the window. "Synthia you alright? You were seriously drunk last night. Just came to check up on you and see if you needed any help." He said as he walked over, putting his hand on her shoulder. From where he was standing, he couldn't see her eye's scar.

She brushed his hand off ant turned to face him, her eye clearly visible. "Yea, I'm fine, your human drinks need more potency to knock out one of my kind." She shrugged and went back over to the desk, sliding back on her eye patch.

He recoiled back a bit when he saw her eye. "W-What happened...?" He said as he pointed to her eyepatch. "What...happened to your eye Synthia? Why is it scarred like that?"

"I got it while searching for you...The King had ordered us to search the forest for you the night you left. I stumbled into a wolves den, and yea...I barely got out alive." She shrugged out of her shirt some, revealing long scars across her shoulders, leading down to her back. She sighed and hung her head. "I was bed-ridden for two weeks..." She pulled her shirt back up and turned to face him.

"Oh...Synthia..." He said as he looked down to the ground, unable to meet her gaze. "I'm so sorry...I didn't want you to get hurt like this..." He reached over and gently took her into a hug, hoping she would accept it even after all that went on the past seven years between them. "Forgive me Synthia...I didn't want you to get hurt..."

"I know...but you got me hurt." She shrugged out of the hug and backed away. "By the way...I hope you haven't gotten those poor sluts pregnant." She winkled her nose at the faint scent still hanging around him. She left and headed down toward the hall, to meet with the king to discuss Nathan's return.
