Laura screamed at her now exboyfriend "You can't leave me here!" as he sped away. It was late and he had shoved her out of his car in the worst part of town. Now she had no choice but to walk all the way home, unless she could find a pay phone. He dumped her because she refused to have sex with him again, she just couldn't. She knew it was stupid, but she couldn't shake the feeling that if she did she'd be betraying somone. Laura had wanted to break up with him for a while, she'd been trying to gather up the courage to tell him, now she doesn't have to.
Though she was relieved that her date was over, she wasn't at all relaxed as she walked down the dark street. The sound of her heels echoing loudly as she walked. The heels and the long darkblue dress she was wearing would make running difficult if she had to, and Laura found herself wishing she'd chosen to wear something else that night. The strong wind blew her long blond hair into her face, she kept pushing the blond strands out of her eyes. Turning the corner there were three men, only one of which was human, all of them quickly circled around her.
