"it's nothing," he said, not wanting to tell her that they were in danger now. he didnt want to tell her that a whole vampire army was currently marching its way into the city, working its way to the unprotected, unknowing humans. "Lets go to school." he said, moving towards the door, all the while thinking about how much time would be needed to get some heavy defenses up. from what he heard, this country was the only human one left now. Besides Germany and Ireland, who were their allies, we were the only country that had humans left in it. London had fallen, as did Asia and the middle east. France was quickly taken over by vampire forces, but thankfully for them, when they brought down Portugal, they lost over half their forces. his mind was clicking away, calculating their chances of beating the vampires to the punch and establishing a foothold somewhere.

She pulled his hand around her waist as they got out of the house. She wanted to live a bit normal as long as they could. She kept her eyes on him smiled even if she was worried. "I hope you enrolled too and not only your squads, there is no way you will skip all the studying as an excuse...I want you with me" she demanded in funny way. While they slowly arrived a school, as a new chapter would start soon enough making they old ones looking so minimum and not important as the new one.​

thats when he saw it. smoke, billowing into the sky like a huge, flying, black snake, coiling around the sun and darkening the sky. he saw bodies, but he kept walking, looking at the school, and the gaping holes that had been blown in it. the bodies all around him were innocents. none of his soldiers had arrived yet, but as delshyk stood there, staring, they came. he turned solemnly to face his soldiers. soldiers that werent even fully grown men, but had probably seen more then a man would. he motioned to the carnage. "Alright. You see this. This... this war. It just climbed another level. their secret is out. everyone now knows about them, but im not sure we can win this one. Three countries are left. THREE FUCKING COUNTRIES!" he looked up to the sky, and growled loudly, in an almost unhuman way. "These bloodsucking assholes, they hit more than we thought they would. we underestimated them. But," he said, holding up a hand. "But, we will fight. we will fight, and we will die. when we die, think this! AFTER ALL THE FOOD IS GONE, THEY WILL DIE MORE SLOWLY THAN WHAT WE COULDVE DONE!" the crowd simply looked at him, never before seeing him so riled, even after watching his parents die. "So! Lets go kick their asses!" he took out his gun and let a few rounds loose in the sky, turning towards the woods. "LETS MOVE OUT!" with those words said, a huge roar rose from the soldiers and they rushed into the trees, firing at anything that moved. Delshyk looked at amaya as she walked over and knelt beside her friends, their bodies empty of life, and blood. he walked over to her, patted her shoulder, and ran to join the fight.

'How can it be, what is going on...' she was thinking looking around seeing her friends as Delshyk stayed a while for a second before he start running towards the fight. "Damn, Damn it!!!" she yelled "what do they want ?" she couldn't breath the shock was more than she could handle but beyond that she found as much energy she had left and shouted at Delshyk "wait, hey wait for me! Don't leave me out of this, I'll fight too, at least as I can" she followed him "we have to fight back" she sighted .​

Delshyk looked into amayas eyes and nodded at what she said. "Yes, we have to fight. we will fight, and hopefully, we will win." he hands her a rifle and flashes her a smile as troops ran past them. he looked into the forest after adjusting the gun so it had no kick when it shot, and went into the treeline. once again, they found themselves in a desserted village. the walls were pockmarked with bullet holes, and blood was spattered on the walls. the sight of so many innocent casualties made him wince, but he kept moving, gun shouldered and feathering off rounds at anything that wasnt his soldiers. countless vampires fell underneath the surprise onslaught as delshyks forces were joined by a huge regiment of German paratroopers, called Razacks Roughnecks. they saluted quickly before adding their firepower to the firefight. before even 2 hours had passed, the village was cleared. the vampires could be seen fleeing, falling as they were shot from behind, screaming in fear now as the ones who had fallen were mercilessly killed. delshyk lowered his rifle and surveyed the battle area. he looked at the weapons vampires had dropped in their desperate attempt to run, and noticed something that shocked him. these guns didnt have bullets. they had large battery packs, next to a tube filled with blue liquid. he put his gun down to look at the new weapon more closely, which was a mistake. as soon as his gun hit the ground, a female vampire bolted out of her hiding space and tackled delshyk, pinning him to the ground and pressing a sharp nail to his neck. "Anyone moves, and he dies," she said, digging her nail into delshyk's neck, drawing blood.

Amaya looked at the blue liquid that Delshyk held in his hands she couldn't finished her phrase "What is that?" as the female vampire was close to him. "Careful Delshyk..." she tried to yell but the vampire had already pinning him down. Amaya moved a bit but with the vampire threat, she couldn't move, but she needed to be closer maybe she could help. Amaya placed her one hand behind her back, she was sure ~Rosepaw~ was there,she pushed her hand and grip the gun. She looked at the vampire and smile "Hey you" the vampire gazed at her, "Yes you, I talking to you! you know its really funny most of you clan looking for me and you'll satisfied with a substitute". Amaya started walking closer to her as the vampire smelled her blood she understood who she was. At once she left Delshyk neck and aimed at Amaya. Everything was going so fast, amaya only feel her nails trying to touch her neck when she has already pulled out ~Rosepaw~ and placed it near the vampire's heart. It took three shots and her necklace shined as the vampire burned into ashes that wind blow away. Amaya was still standing above Delshyk in a shock. She lowered the gun and looked at him,her dark blue eyes where colder than ever, "Are you alright" she asked.​

delshyk felt the weight lift off of him, and saw the vampire go for amaya. he grabbed the vampiires foot just before she was shot and burned, pulling the vampire away from amaya. his knee connected with its face, breaking its jaw. then, delshyk pulled a knife and stabbed the vampire in the chest, piercing its heart as his other hand came up and broke its neck woth one quick movement. he stood up, kicked the vampire off his knife, and wiped his bloody hand on the dead vamp's shirt. "Yeah, im fine." he said, dusting his shirt off and staring into amaya's cold eyes. she had a killer's eyes now, but delshyk's eyes were colder, like two sapphires set in his skull, unfeeling, like stone. "Come on, we have more villages to clear." he turned and motioned for everyone to follow him. he picked up the vampire gun, and put it in his pocket, thinking he could study it later on. "Move it ladies. lets go!"

Amaya breath again as she heart Delshyk being fine her look turned back to normal, after all she could not stay that cold for long time. She looked at him noticing his dangerous look, as she nodded at his order. She would blindly fallow his orders after all she was still a newbie to all that. She noticed that Delshyk took the vampire gun, as she followed him looking around. She could feel that was not over, and she didn't know how long it would take, maybe for ever. While she was walking behind Delshyk she kept thinking of her friends, she had realized what it meant that they were dead. Her eyes start crying as she couldn't stop the tears she felt so embarrassed, everyone was running to fight and she was filled with emotions. 'If i had only surrendered at the begging this wouldn't happen' she thought as she let her thoughts free. She had no idea any more what to do, 'only fight would it be enough'. Then the idea hit her again, 'maybe I should find a way to leave them and search for the vampire council', 'a vampire would take me anytime', 'I've to stop this' all those thoughts were confused on her head when she finally stopped Delshyk pulling him by his hand. Of course she would never tell him what she would do, but she had to do it. "Delshyk ...I'll go back...I can not fight any more" she tried to find an explanation for her leaving "I'll wait at the base with the other of you men, ok ?".she told him and walked away trying to go back at the house and from there to find a way to the vampire council. But she didn't know that Delshyk couldn't get fooled so easily.​

Delshyk could easily see through her ruse. he knew she had no intention of waiting at base, but he had more important things. it pained him just to think that, but one girl isnt more important than all of humanity. he nodded at her and a group of 6 soldiers, the best he had besides his own team, surrounded her. "I'll see you at base then," he said, turning before saying a cryptic, "Maybe..." he nodded again at the soldiers and marched with the rest of the unit, barking out orders and trying to keep them focused. he knew that there was a very slim chance of them ever seeing eachother after this, but he couldnt say goodbye. he couldnt let amaya see his eyes turn from steel to a leaky faucet as tears dripped down his cheek. one of the germans patted him on the shoulder. "I know what you are going through my friend. i had a family back home." his accent wasn't bad enough to where he couldnt understand, and he nodded his thanks to the man. "Lets just pray that we make it out of this alive." the german nodded, patted delshyks shoulder again, and rejoined his own men. they were looking death in the face, and now, would they be able to turn away?

Amaya nodded at him she felt sad but she would get a change to do something on her on, or at least that was what she thought. As Delshyk start walking to the next village and she with his men to the old path the already had past. After few minutes Amaya manipulated four of his men to go find him she would be fine with the two, she wanted to be able to escape, with 6 men watching her she would never do that. She turned and looked behind as the men slowly tried to reach Delshyk with the Germans. As she started walking with the other man to base, she knew that if there were any vampire close they would hear her so all her thoughts gathered the energy to simply to transmit her thoughts to them. 'I know you can hear me, I want to surrender you just have to bring me to your council...lets see what they want me' she kept saying in her mind. It was not long that her thoughts were out few vampires had gathered close waiting for her. They couldn't believe she would just give herself up like that, they would bring her to the council, after all she was more valuable alive.

When they reached the base, amaya noticed them as she got in slowly so none would suspect here. After several minutes she stand up, the men asked here where she was going, and she said "I have to go to the bathroom and I don't need help". She walked in the room and closed the door, finding a open window and getting out of there.Slowly after hiding from tree to tree she got deeper in the forest, close to the river was standing a male figure she could feel that is was a vampire, her blood could feel him. She walked close to him, with her hand on the gun behind her back. Only this vampire wasn't like the others he was stronger and higher in command. Amaya raised her eyes that looked now cold again, "Did you hear me, take me to your council " she asked in a cold voice. The vampire nodded and showed her the way, next to the river "Fallow me " he replayed as the air around him was dark and cold. Amaya was freezing but she started to fallow him, her heart was scared like never before. Felt like death was surrounding her.​

delshyk was marching towards the main city now. they had been picked up and dropped off at an undisclosed location. they were told that this was the last known location of a big part of the vampire council. he nodded, shivering as the pilot took off. he had a bad feeling about this battleground. "Alright, keep an eye out, and watch your corners. for all we know, the welcoming commitee could already be waiting for us. ROE is shoot anything that moves." a yessir rebounded through the unit as they split up into smaller teams, stealthing their way through the city. after a perimeter had been set up, all the soldiers took a deep breath of relief. they were safe for now. they continued to stealth their way around, looking for any movement. delshyk could feel something was off, but he didnt know what it was. 'come on delshyk, concentrate!' he mentally yelled at himself. his quick eyes scanned the buildings as he slipped on thermal glasses. nothing here was producing any heat whatsoever, so he turned to his men and motioned to continue. unfortunately, since he had his back turned, he couldnt see the movement in the bush behind him. he recognized the feeling of her, the feeling of her blood reacting with his, making goosebumps spread across his body. he sensed amaya, and he sensed the vampire leading her. this one was the right hand man of the leader of the council. he was a powerful vampire, and he wasnt easily killed. delshyk gritted his teeth as he turned and waited for the two to come out of the bush, his clothes swishing slightly as he raised his rifle.

Amaya didn't know she would end up in the same city as Delshyk, sensing him she couldn't so easy after all the vampire close to her has stolen all her notice. He was powerful and her blood could sense that, making her feel more uneasy. She was walking with him close to the river, the vampire didn't speak neither attacked her he was taking her to the council. Amaya took her hand form the gun, there was no need after all. When they slowly reached the bushes, 'if Delshyk finds out what I did he'll kill me' a thought passed her brain 'he'll not wait for the vampires to do so'. She saw the vampire turn as he could listen to her thought's and smiled while they passed the bushes and were on the main road to the council. Amaya noticed they were in the main city as she looked at the vampire and around her she couldn't see anything yet.​

by the time amaya noticed anything, she was on the gound, surrounded protectively by soldiers, and the vampire had a gun pointed at his head. delshyk was holding the gun, aiming straight at his right eye. "Amaya, honestly. did you think i was that stupid? do you think i didnt know what you were planning before even you knew? no matter how hard you try to convince yourself, your death wont end this war. the war wont end until either there are no more people left to kill dirty leeches like this, or until there arent any left to be killed." he pulled the trigger, moving the gun so that the bullet shot through the vampires leg. he quickly shot the other leg and both his arms, before taking out a needle. "You, vampire, will pay for all the lives you've taken. you will pay for it, by reliving their memories, their pain. you get no quick death." he stabbed him in the neck and injected the liquid, turning away from his writhing body and walking over to amaya. his eyes were colder than ice, unemotional. the eyes of a true killer. "You want to go to the vampire council? follow me then. we'll blast our way into their homes, and teach them what it feels like." he turned away from amaya, a single cold tear falling from his cheek before he continued, alone, into the forest.

Amaya was speechless, she never would guess that Delshyk was around there. She sat there as she was hearing him she could feel his voice she felt more scared than with the vampire. She lowered her eyes knowing that what she did was close to betrayal and it would hard to win Delshyk trust again. "I just wanted to give an end" she mumbled as she saw him painfully killing the vampire. Then she saw him coming closer she tried to raise her eyes a bit but his cold eyes made her feel more scared. As she listen to him and nodded. She stood up and started fallowing him, but keeping a distance she felt uneasy of what she had done and fare was moving on all her body, she couldn't forget his ice cold killer lock, she felt that Delshyk wouldn't let that easy go. But she kept fallowing him into the forest as her hand was on her gun.​

delshyk looked the wall of the council over, and placed a pack of c4. he blew a huge hole in the wall, taking out his pistol and quickly killing everyone inside the room. he walked inside and turned to look at amaya, his eyes still cold. he kicked in the door to the next room, flashes of light from the tip of the pistol blinding amaya as each bullet pierced a different vampire in the head. he changed the magazine in his pistol before kicking in the next door and dispatching of everyone in there the same exact way, killing each with only one bullet. the attack was so unexpected that none of the vampires had time to react. he slowly made his way through the defenses, working his way into the heart of the building, where the council was standing. when he kicked in the last door, 25 knives flew at him. he dodged most of them, all but 5 knives burying themselves into a wall. the other 5 knives dug deeply into his arm. he shot one council member in the chest, sending him to the ground, dead before he even hit the floor. "Who's next?" he asked as he tore the knives out of his flesh.

Amaya was following him, still speechless like a wall was raised between them. She tried to take out her gun and shoot with him but light blinding her, before she could see again Delshyk was getting the 5 knifes out of him. They were now in the middle of the council, her blood was getting hot she could feel them around her as the necklace was again slowly awoken. Amaya stood in frond of him, she took one knife that was down at her feet and cut herself. Her blood slowly fall down of her hand, the vampires stopped at the sense of the blood. She did the second stupid think after the first. "STOP IT NOW, is this what you want?" she yelled standing in the middle of the room and slowly reaching to the council. "Why is that so important to you? Answer me, why would all you clan fight for this?" she kept asking as her blood was making everyone uneasy there as in the back of her head a thought passed "you did it again girl". There was no way she could face Delshyk after that, his coldness she could feel it form where she was.​

Delshyk looked down at her cut, then back to the council, stepping in front of amaya protectively, snarling at them as they came closer. "Piss off you idiots. she's MY girl!" he pulled his trigger, throwing the gun when it clicked uselessly. "You're out of ammo, hunter. what now?" delshyk smirked and pulled the gun he got from the dead vampire. "This." he pulled the trigger, going wide-eyed as a bolt of plasma was ejected through the muzzle. it melted right through the vampire's chest, and he quickly mowed down the other members of the council. he looked at amaya, eyes warming up as he picked her up, hugged her tightly, and kissed her. he kissed her for a long time, the kiss getting hotter before he broke it off. after that, he simply smiled and let her go, patting her head. he chuckled at her confused expression and turned around.

Amaya was confused as she felt his arms around her and his lips meeting hers. She let herself close to his body she liked the feeling on being in his arms it looked the saved place of all. She didn't know what was going on, she need to know more as Delshyk was killing them. Her breath was faster and she kept her eyes down not knowing what his next move would be. Her blood slowly run through her wound as she was looking at him. "What's now... " she muttered not knowing why he got so warm up again. But surly she like more that version of him. Not expecting what would happen next.​

"Heheheh. now, we go home. we have to get some rest. i bet you're confused now, right?" delshyk motioned for her to follow. "Fact is, i meant it when i said i'd always love you, no matter what you were or what you did. you won't be able to get rid of me very easily. now lets go home. this war is just beginning." he kissed her deeply and pressed her body close. now, the next part would revolve around amaya,and her decision on what to do.

Amaya let her hands around him she was glad she wasn't pissed at her. She follwed him back now as she could see that he didn't left anyone alive. She looked at him sill confused and smiled "I'm sorry ..." she whispered as she felt her body pressing at his. She slowly torn some clothe for her shirt to clean his arm and to stop the wounds for bleeding, as Delshyk would smell her blood that would awaken his remind him how she tasted from last time she tried. Only a drop of her blood would fix anything of his.​

delshyk shook his head violently as thoughts of amayas blood leaked into his mind. he took out some bandages and wrapped the wound on his right arm so that it looked exactly like his left. he sighed as he looked away, coughing a little before climbing onto the waiting heli. it was only a few minutes until they arrived at base, where they were met by hundreds of soldiers and a loud cheer. delshyk simply high-fived everyones outstretched hands, making him look like a normal 17 year old. he then threw the gun he picked up over to a technician. "Figure out what that is. i need to step out." the man nodded and walked off. delshyk rubbed his eyes and coughed heavily. he looked around and quickly stepped outside, hoping no one noticed. he took a long drink from his silver flask and leaned against the tree, closing his eyes.
