Its Raining from Limbo [Farcry x Risi]

Celeste's eyebrow raised and gave a laugh, covering her mouth with her hand as to not show her food. "Well you can be the center of attention for a few minutes," she told him once her food was swallowed and she stuck her tongue out at him. "See? Was that so bad?" Another laugh jingled from her lips before she took another bite of her sandwich.

With a shrug she looked at him, and laughed once again. "You're funny when your not pissed," she told him softly and took a sip of her drink.

Erol wanted to say he liked being the center of her attention but figured she might then become upset. His lips quirked into an odd smile. "Thanks, I think." Then his eyes narrowed. "Do you like funny guys?" He inquired curiously. Shrugging he took another bite of food. It was nice to be having a conversation like this, he had them so rarely.

"I'd... and I don't know how you'll take this, but I'd like to help you find something you would want. Sorry, I just find it odd for a person even a... I don't know should we call you a zombie? Undead? Fallen angel?" His eyes sparkled as he mused about what she would be classified as. "It's odd that a person doesn't have any aspirations, doesn't desire something better than what you have." His face quickly went somber. "I know there's the charm about your neck, that is the one thing you have stated but... That's difficult." Erol looked down at his food feeling like an ass.

"Let the record state that you pointed the choker out, not me," she told him playfully. "But yes, I do like funny guys and I appreciate you trying to help me find something, but I'm sure I'm set for now." She gave a pause for another sip of her drink, "If I think of something, I'll tell you, I pinky promise." Celeste extended her arm to him, pinky first for the meeting with his own.

Celeste was such a mix of a child and an adult all wrapped in one, sometimes it was hard to differentiate the two from eachother for her, as she had died young and impressionable then lived for a few hundred years in heaven until she was sent to Limbo and then transported here.

Erol nodded looking a little chagrined about the choker. He didn't want to be yet another asshole in a long line of people who kept her imprisoned and yet he didn't want to blow the huge investment that got her here. Was that why he wanted her to be his girlfriend, so if she wasn't chained by magic she might be due to their relationship. Either way he was selfish, which he knew. Reaching over he did the pinky promise looking a little uncomfortable. Perhaps it wasn't something done in his culture. "Okay. So do you promise you'll try to find something more than just existing." The young man then dropped his hands down and picked up the chopsticks to eat some more. "I think most of what you need we can find at one or two stores."

The glove didn't hide the warmth of his hand, his pinky even. The warmth made her smile a little bit, but she tilted her head downward towards her plate to hide it from him, not even thinking that it could have been weird for him. "I promise I'll try to find something more than just existing," she mimicked kindly before she took the last bite of her grilled cheese.

"I'm hope we can," she told him once her bite was chewed. "Where should I attempt to find a job?" she asked then, hating to rely on him for everything. It wasn't a attempt to leave him, but she didn't want him to feel like he had to support her all the time.

Erol smiled some as he moved to try and eat his food. A more complicated dish and the chopsticks made it take a bit more work to eat. Still he didn't want to just sit there and have her stare at him eating. The youth looked at her with a bit of a grin. "Well there's all sorts of places. Could work as a waitress, probably not here but somewhere." Lifted his shoulders. It's not like he knew, he was wealthy due to parents, family he hardly knew. It was odd for him though as his family had always remained distant for reasons he was only beginning to understand or get insights into.

Lifting the bowl he drank some of the brother then shifted in his seat before paying. "Come on, let's go." Then tilting his head. "I guess there's the mall too." As he continued to puzzle about the whole job issue.

"Whatever I can do really," she commented, "as long as it makes money that I can spend." A wink was added as she scooted from the booth to stand after he had paid. "So, where are we going?" Celeste asked as they walked through the diner door. She mover her hands through her hair as the air hit her from the door. "I don't want to waste all of your time..." she began as they moved down the sidewalk. Her lips pursed as she wondered how all of this was going to work out. She felt like such a mooch. To subside that feeling she attempted to distract herself with other things.

"So what do you study in your lab, exactly?" she pondered, attempting to get to know him better. He was so hidden and shrouded in her dark clothing and the way his dark eyes seemed to be haunted with something. It obvious that he wouldn't open up to her, let alone in the middle of the street, but she wanted to try to get to know him better at least a little bit.

Erol wasn't sure what was going on. Now she was winking at him, complimenting him, this was not how she was acting earlier. Quietly he ruffled his hair as he stood up and moved to leave the diner. "Oh there's a shopping mall just a little ways down. Really it's no problem." Of course mentally he was readjusting all of the work he had to do but that was just the sort of person he was. Giving a small wave to some of the staff before letting the door shut behind him. Turning back to the short former angel he smiled before stuffing his gloved hands in his pockets, not due to the cold but just to control and confine himself.

The question she asked was to be expected and honestly he appreciated that she was now asking about him instead of spitting accusations at him while he did the same to her. Quietly he shrugged as he thought about it. "Well, besides summoning former angels, the lab is where I do various arcane experiments. Some of it is homework, others are part of my own studies. I haven't come across much of anything that seems to be the same as my condition. I mean there's things that are similar but only slightly. In fact I don't think there's ever been anything like you. Half-fallen as you are. I mean has there ever been others that have been dropped just to Limbo?"

"I don't know really, that's the thing about Limbo though, it is timeless and empty." Celeste's nose twitched slightly and she attempted a smile for him, though inside sure could sill feel the slicing of her wings from her back. "I think its nice to-be different though, don't you?" she gave a slight pause but continued, "I mean I know that I hope for the difference to know that I don't have to be so assuming and advantagous as the normal Joe Shmoe out there." A slight shrug was offered as she followed him towards, what she assumed to be, the mall.

Her heart was pounding, attempting to conceal the raging war that was going within her mind. She wanted to stay, but she felt like such a burden to him. And though she was.attempting to find a job, Celeste still felt like she owed him something, and he expected it from her. The feeling rose inside of her, itching at the back of her mind. It was inconsolable, the feeling, and how he didn't outwardly hold her to it, but it still lingered there after the period of his sentence or the question in his voice. "Thanks for the food," she said softly as the entered the shopping complex.

Erol shrugged as his brow furrowed. "I don't know. Having been someone who set rooms on fire, accidentally melting my favorite toys as a child, never knowing if a girl likes me or if I just pulled out her passion... These aren't things I'm proud of. It might be nice to be normal." Then he forced a smile as he looked at Celeste. "Sorry, I'm being morose again. I understand how being what I am has allowed me many opportunities but if it weren't the case maybe you wouldn't be upset with me." He grinned crookedly as they came upon the mall. Another odd edifice, looking more archaic made of rough hewn stone yet still possessing many windows.

Going in his body language became even more self-confined as he made sure not to accidentally bump into the teeming hordes of shoppers. It made the tall heavily clothed man look even taller and skinnier as he tried to fold in on himself. Softly he nodded to her statement of thanks. "No problem." Within the shopping mall were all sorts of shops, with a greater variety then found in most malls outside of Asia on Earth. There was even a grocery market it seemed on the second floor.

With her mouth slightly open, Celeste walked in awe into the bustling mall. It wasn't like any market she had ever seen before, and clearly it was very new to her. "So, like everything is here?" she asked, mouth still wide. Before she could hear his answer, she had wandered into someone, who very rudely pushed her aside. Celeste stumbled back into Erol, but kept her balance on her feet with the aid of her leaning on him slightly. "Sorry," she muttered, but still recognized the heat which radiated from him, it was so enticing to her. Her eyes moved back to the skylights and stores quickly, generally in the direction of the grocery store. "Maybe I could work there?" she asked, pointing at the floor above them. Celeste was attempting to change the topic within her own mind, as the previous one had been keenly focused on the young man's heat and how it melted her slightly. Perhaps if he didn't base a relationship in sex and power... she thought to herself, but she quickly whisked that thought away before it could build. Now was not the time for looking for someone to go steady with. Now was the time for beginning her new life and starting off fresh.

"Oh!" Erol called as he reached out to catch Celeste, his forearm grazing her full breast as he helped hold her up. Assisting her back up to her feat his attention was on the person she'd bumped into. A dark scowl was warn upon his face. The heat about the young man increased for a moment as he missed what she was saying. Then the well off woman who shoved Celeste took a slight misstep as she reached up to grip her chest and held her hand there as she continued walking on.

Erol then turned his attention to Celeste, his countenance was grave indeed. "Are you alright?" Only then noticing where she was pointing and what it was that she must be talking. "Of yes, that would be an okay place to work." Clearly distracted by the offense she had to suffer and less focused on her employment potential right now.

Celeste looked to Erol, a tad confused. "How do we get up there?" she asked, not being able to locate the stairs anywhere. As he began to lead her, she found shelter behind him slightly, hoping she wouldn't run into another person. She kept her distance though, knowing not to touch, or focus on touching him as it would entice her. They were soon upon the store, after a few questions over the moving stairs and how they worked, and she was asking a young teen about an apprenticeship. The boy was very confused, as was Celeste as to why he didn't understand her. "You have to fill out a form," he finally realized and retrieved one for her.

Once filled out she returned it to the boy, who was still a bit flabbergasted by her, and moved back towards Erol. He was almost like a magnet, but one with both negative and positive sides together. The two of them were drawn together somehow, but never touched, revolving around one another like a dance. "Now where?" she asked, an accomplished grin on her face.
