Outlaw Of The Heart (BlisteredBlood & Fancy_Brat)

What irony. The whole time the two had spent on their way here, Aisha had been riding up on his back like it was no big deal, and now she was speaking of a cat nap. As a matter of fact, he should've just said that it was her turn to carry him back, but then again, he couldn't see any point in the matter. Besides, there was still plenty he could have her do once they were headed back towards the ship. Even still, what was the rush? After the last Space Race, the Outlaw Star was still in need of some minor repairs and even some maintenance, most of which was probably going to fall into Jim's hands when he got around to it. Seemed as though the kid was here, there and everywhere trying to get everyone enough money to even cover for those things, anyway.

At that point, Gene slowly got out of his seat, groaning with the effort as his stomach gave another painful rolling, making him stand there for maybe a moment, feeling as though he was about moments away from puking on the spot. Fortunately, he had enough fortitude left in him to avoid such a thing and with each and every step from he took towards the exit, Gene would eventually head back outside into the later afternoon air as he looked around for a phone booth. Luckily enough, he managed to spot one that was not far from him and then stepped over towards it, moved inside and then dug out some loose change he had in his pocket in order to place the phone call.

The whole ordeal would be exchanged in a matter of moments after Gene placed the call for a cab to pick them up at the restaurant when the dispatched told him that there would be a taxi heading for them within 10 minutes. After thanking the dispatcher and hanging up, Gene sauntered over towards the entrance of the restaurant before his stomach once again gave another painful growl.

"Oh geez..." Gene sounded out before he sat down slowly.
