Outlaw Of The Heart (BlisteredBlood & Fancy_Brat)

She playfully stuck her tongue out at him as he started to head towards the restaurant. She had no idea what he was thinking, though she didn't care to much. She could already smell the food from inside. "Ooh! Endless ramen bowls! Rice balls. This is going to be a good day." she said.

She was a little confused with what he was saying, though she pouted a little as he stuck his tongue out at her. "Is that a challenge? How about this then? I challenge you to endless ramen bowls! Loser pays the bill! Bet you're shaking in your boots now huh?"

Gene blinked when he heard Aisha's challenge.

"Endless ramen bowls? Loser pays he bill?" Gene asked as what appeared to be stars appeared in his eyes for a moment before he gave her a confident smirk before sliding one hand off and giving her a thumbs up. "You made the wrong mistake in challenging me to that kinda game, missy! Because as you already know, I can put 'em away with the best of 'em and that includes you!" He added as he headed towards the restaurant at all due speed.

Aisha was actually surprised to see him looking very confident for this challenge of hers, but she wasn't going to back down. His enthusiasm would make it that much better when she came out on top. "And you made the wrong choice in accepting my challenge. The tables have turned and you're in my house now!" she said, hanging tight as he ran off towards the restaurant.

Gene hardly heard a thing to what Aisha said as he burst into the doors of the restaurant, causing a few of the waiting staff and a few more of the patrons that were already inside to look up at the two that had just entered the establishment. With a great amount of gusto, Gene pointed to the first available waiter that was there and grinned at him. "A table for two and don't bother with the menu, pal! We're here for the All You Can Eat Buffet!" He proclaimed to him directly.

The waiter looked at the two oddly with a sort of "what the fuck are they doing" kind of look before he nodded his head once and guided the two of them over to the first available table in the place. Without another word, Gene headed over to it and stopped there before looking up at Aisha. "Alright, you can let go now." He said to her.

Their over the top entrance was more than appropriate for the odd duo. Of course, Aisha had to pitch in her own remarks, not to be outdone. "That's right! So get moving! We're hungry and itching for some food!" That mainly related to her, but both of them were serious about this competition.

Gene had carried her through the restaurant until they got to the table, and she had gotten so used to it that she didn't really want to let go. "Aw, that's no fun." she said, letting go as she moved to the other end of the table. "Ah...I'm starving."

Gene glanced up to Aisha when she complained about letting him go was no fun. "What, and let you mess my clothes up while you're slurpin' ramen near me? Nuh-uh, Aisha! Not today! But I will tell ya what, when we're outta here, I'll let you hop back onto my back, alright?" He offered to her before he then got into his seat next and crossed one leg over the other.

Soon enough, the waiter came back out with two bowls of ramen quickly and a basket what was filled to the brim with rice balls and meandered over to the red-headed young man and the C'tarl-C'tarl then set them down in front of them. But before he left, Gene pulled on the waiter's sleeve and looked up at him with a grin. "Tell the guys in the back not to skimp on anything. Give us all ya got and don't stop." Gene said, getting the same look back from the waiter as he then sped into the kitchen area.

With that, Gene first clapped his hands together and uttered a quick "thanks for the food" before he picked up the fork nearby and proceeded to get this little competition of theirs underway.

"W-well...I suppose that's true." she muttered to herself. Of course it made sense that she wouldn't be on his back while they were eating, but she would gladly take him up on his other offer. "Well, if you put it that way, I guess I can't refuse. It'll make my victory that much sweeter." she said, thinking she had already won. Of course, she did seem to have a bottomless pit for a stomach, but you couldn't count out Gene.

Aisha's eyes seemed to brigthen up at the sight of all the food. the bowls were so huge, and there were a bunch of rice balls in that basket. "Ah...I can die happy now." But then she remembered the Galactic Leyline and how she ended up with this group in the first place. "That's right. All your ramen is coming to this table and you better serve it up quickly! One bowl after another!" It seemed they were even ready to drive this restaurant out of business.

She did the same as Gene, already starting to eat her ramen as well. It really was amazing! She almost stopped to savor the taste, but she remembered their little competition. "Just you wait Gene Starwind...I'll get you back for humiliating me at that restaurant before! It's about time you paid the bill!" she thought in her mind. Of course, she tried to finish it up quickly, only starting to fill up that stomach of hers. It was a rather disturbing sight in some manners as she simply stuffed the noodles in her mouth and drank down all the broth in one go. She slammed the bowl back down, calling for the waiter to bring her another bowl.

Gene twirled the long rack of noodles into the crook of his jaw for a moment before he gave one mighty slurp, sucking down each and every strand until it vanished from between his lips and plunged it all down into the pit of his stomach, followed by the rich broth in what appeared to be one long pull. A clearly disrespectful way of eating, but then again, when you have a C'tarl-C'tarl that could eat about as good as you did, there was no chance in hell that Gene was going to let her get too far.

Once that was done, Gene slammed the bowl down onto the table before he glanced up and lifted up two fingers towards his lips and gave a piercing whistle, informing he was ready for another round.

With that, the waiter came back out in a hurry with two more bowls, having to duck through various patrons in order to get over to them. When he finally set those down, he raced back into the kitchen, but not before informing the staff inside that he was clearly going to need some help!

Gene then got started on this next bowl without warning, taking the fork and ramming it into the noodles within the broth and brought every single strand up to his mouth once more, slurping that all down without a second thought followed by that bowl's broth in another singular pull before he smacked that one down too.

"Come on! It's like a friggin' desert over here!" Gene barked out loudly. After a moment, he then glanced over to the rice ball bowl in front of him and grinned as he spotted it. While he was waiting for the next bowl to arrive to him, he took two. One for each hand and proceeded to scarf on those as well, one large bite at a time for each hand.

For the moment, it seemed like the two contestants were dead even. They had finished their first bowls within a few minutes, already calling for the next bowl to be brought.

Aisha received her next bowl, wasting no time in shoving the noodles into her mouth and down the hatch. It seemed they were unaffected by how hot the food would be, considering it was fresh from the kitchen. There was no option of slowing to blow it as it would easily give the other time to overake their opponent.

The proud Ctarl-Ctarl couldn't help but notice how he was sneaking some of the rice balls into his mouth as well. this was mainly about the ramen bowls, but she wasn't going to be outdone in that category either! While she was finishing up her broth, she called for another bowl. She set aside her previous bowl, snatching a couple riceballs and tossing those into her mouth as well. She didn't feel the least bit full at the moment, so she was feeling quite confident about this.

After shoving those two riceballs into his mouth, Gene continued onto the next bowl of ramen that was sent his way but instead of using the fork this time, he decided to ditch that as well then grabbed the bowl and hoisted it up to his mouth and opened wide, guzzling down the broth and noodles considering it came fresh from the kitchen. It kind of scalded his mouth, but Gene was going to prove that he was going to push through the pain and eat as much as he could.

After he pounded that down, Gene skidded the bowl off to the side and gave a loud enough belch that probably would've rattled the infrastructure of this place to the core. He wasn't full yet, but that would definitely free up some space. Soon enough, he spotted Aisha snatching a couple more of those rice balls and began wolfing those down as well.

Another waiter came out of the kitchen at all due speed with two more bowls for them, clearly showing exhaustion on his face. How these two could eat like they did was beyond any comprehension!

At this point, the odd pair had attracted the attention of all the other customers in the restaurant, who watched them with utmost disgust and bewilderment. Everyone liked to take advantage of the all-you-can-eat aspect, though most people would be cramping up while eating this fast. It just went to show that these two were far from normal. It was clear by the slowing growing stacks of bowls on each side.

The next bowl came just as Aisha finished her current one, shoveling everything inside. Her eyes teared up a bit from the heat of the soup, but that wasn't going to slow her down. She gave a mean glare over to the waiter that came to their table. "You're slowing down man! How many guys you got back there?! Start using them!"

Currently, they were both going one bowl at a time, pretty much even. They clearly had plenty of room left in their stomachs for more...

Gene hardly had enough time to get the rice balls he had in his mouth down when the next set of bowls came their way before the waiter hurried back out to the kitchen area once more. Once he was in, he was clearly getting aggravated with the rest of the staff that was inside, accompanied by a laundry list of swearing and angry words. Another waiter came out to take his place, coming out with two more bowls as quickly as he got them into his hands and began to hurry out to the table with all due speed.

The sooner Gene saw the other incoming waiter, Gene forced himself to swallow down those parts of rice balls he had in his mouth before he went down to the first bowl and just drank the broth down as quick as he could despite he was banging his fist on the table mostly due to the pain in his mouth from the hot broth he was basically shoving into his gullet and straight down to his stomach, causing tears to form within his eyes then the noodles next. Once more, that pain from the heat was beginning to aggravate his mouth to a considerable degree and again, he pounded his hand on the table as he fought through the pain as best as he could before he finally managed to swallow the contents of that bowl before shoving it off to the side as he looked at the next set of bowls that were slid his way before the waiter ran back into the kitchen once more, just in time for yet another one of those waiters came out hurriedly, despite there was a look of concern on his face for those two "customers".

He looked back into the kitchen for a moment with the same look before he spoke. "Hey, shouldn't we bring those two water? It's starting to look like it's beginning to bug them a bit." He said before glancing back at the two as Gene began with that bowl next.

"Hell no! Those two wanna bring the heat?! Then let's give it to them right back in spades!" Said the first waiter, despite that he was nearly going insane from being ordered around so bossily then began to laugh in a maniacal manner. "GO! GIVE THEM EVERYTHING WE HAVE AND RAMP THE TEMP UP UNTIL THEIR MOUTHS BURN OFF FROM THE INSIDE!"

Time had slowly passed and stacks of bowls and plates had started to pile on the ground around the two competitors. As if on cue, Aisha and Gene seemed to lash out at the kitcen almost right after each other. The number of bowls and plates surrounding them had once carried enough food to perhaps feed everyone in this restaurant at least twice, though nobody could really count how many dishes these two had gone through. If they were used to eating like this on a daily basis, it certainly did not show with the figures they had.

It was true that the spiciness of the food was at least affecting Aisha, though she did her best not to show it. The only sign of her discomfort would be the few drips of sweat trailing down her face. And the food only seemed to be getting hotter from there. Now, the real test of endurance would begin. Who would tap out first? She was partially driven out of her eating trance as Gene's hand banged against the table continuously, clearly affected by the heat. Even if she was a Ctarl-Ctarl, she was tempted to do the same. The spiciness from the dishes had started to irritate her mouth, and every now and then she had to turn away and cough, pounding at her chest to clear up her throat. Still, the two were even, with the lead being passed back and forth. "I can't lose here! This is my chance to get back at him fr humiliating me so many times!" She gritted her teeth roughly as she pulled another bowl in front of her, quickly tossing the contents into her mouth before moving to the next. Her rate of eating had increased, though it was clearly affecting her just as quickly. Tears had started to form, and occasionally they'd stream down her face from the heat of her food.

In the time that had passed, it looked as though the two of them were dead even as far as the number of bowls that had begun to pile up, partially obscuring the two big eaters of the place. But even still, it felt as though Gene was pouring hot lead down his stomach from the broth and liquid magma from the noodles he was getting down into his stomach as well. It was true that he had the appetite of a C'tarl-C'tarl, but there was only so much that his human intestinal tract could withstand!

At some point, Gene's face was beet-red and sweat was just drenched in sweat the more that he continued to eat, his pace ever frantic. At one point though, Gene had to pause for a moment to let out a series of coughs, his eyes tightly closed for the time being before shaking his head out from side to side quickly then returned to his meal, refusing to back down and refusing to quit, even if it felt like ground-up glass was going down his throat. Come on, come on! I'm not giving up just yet...! He thought as tears were beginning to well up within his eyes.

By this time, many spectators had tried to go back to their meals, though they probably had no appetite after seeing these two almost shoving food down their throats. As with Gene, Aisha's face had grown pretty red as well, though it was harder to make out seeing as her skin was darker than his. Each bite was more and more painful than the last. She almost couldn't even taste the food anymore with the spiciness numbing up her mouth. One thing was for sure, her stomach wasn't feeling all too great at this point. She grabbd the next bowl she could, still not feeling too hot. She had started to pour the scolding hot broth into her mouth, banging the table with her fist so much that a good crack coould be seen. "Ugh...n-not yet! I need to win..." She got to about halfway through the soup before she suddenly slammed the bowl back down on the table, quickly standing up from her seat. She was bending over slightly as she held her stomach. All that food was finally catching up to her, and she had just about enough. "B-bathroom!!!" She literally cried out as she went running through the restaurant to the other side, nearly slamming the bathroom door off the hinges. Her chair had been knocked over as well, thankfully avoiding the stack of bowls piled up around. That would definitely be added to their bill if any of those got damaged.

Heedless of how the other patrons saw them, Gene just kept on eating as quick as he could, despite the heinous amounts of searing pain both from the spicy broth and the excruciating heat from the noodles were beginning to take a toll on him, his eyes shut tightly and even emitting a series of pained groans as he forced himself to push through it. At one point, Gene had paused in mid gulp of the broth before he turned to the side before giving out a hard cough, accidentally spraying out the broth through his nose and mouth and at that instant, the minute he felt the broth drip from his nose, Gene felt an excruciating pain unlike anything before. It honestly felt as though someone forced him to snort 500 shredded cayenne peppers up his nose and then hold it there for five seconds. At that point, Gene lifted a gloved hand up to his face and emitted a pained holler into his hand as he clenched the other and then banged hard on the table, causing the tower of bowls to sway about slightly, but not enough to knock them over, even if there was a crack that had formed on the table with the Aisha was banging on it earlier. God forbid if those were to fall over at this point!

As a matter of fact, Gene was completely unaware that Aisha had disappeared into the bathroom due to the severe pain in his mouth and now his nose as he slowly got out of the seat, minding the fact that the bowls were still around him and then began to maneuver himself out of the seat slow steps out and around the stacks of bowls that surrounded them. Holy Christ, this was gonna hurt a lot unless if someone could get him some water!

Muffling out to the waiters there, Gene waved hs hand up and down called down a different waiter this time, he once again muffled out for water despite his mouth, nose and throat were literally on fire.

It seemed like hours had passed since Aisha had first gotten out of her seat to make a dash for the bathroom, and for some reason Gene was unaware that she had disappeared. In a way that could play in her favor if she ever decided to hop back in her seat and order another round, though at the moment, thinking of food was not making anything better for her. While Gene was still suffering through his next few bowls, the bathroom door had finally opened, though only slightly. Anyone looking in that direction would notice that everyone seemed to be staring at the ground. Soon, Aisha had come into view, slowly crawling back over to the table. It was clear that she was still cramped up and this seemed the most comfortable way to make her way back. It took her a minute or so to climb back into her seat, resting her chin on the table. "Ugh...I don't...I don't think I can eat another bite." It was quite a surprise, considering how much she ate when Gene and Jim had treated her the first time they ran into her.

At that point, Gene was finally given a glass of water for his searing throat, but that would only go into about five glasses more before he was finally able to be able to speak to Aisha when she had finally gotten out of the bathroom however long later. When he finally did talk, his voice was about as raspy as a heavy smoker who went through at least five packs a day.

"Don't think... I can... either..." Gene spoke before turning his head to the side and letting out another heavy cough before he looked over to the massive amounts of bowls before them. "Well... I guess that settles our little competition..." He said after a moment before he looked over to the same waiter and spoke one last time. "Waiter! Check please!" He said.

The only thing left to do was to count up how many bowls they had eaten up anyway. After all, they did agree that the loser would pay the bill, along with doing whatever the winner said. Aisha had asked for a glass of water herself, getting it in no time. She quickly drank it all down, feeling at least a little satisfaction from the burn of the food. She let out a few coughs herself, still holding her stomach. "Ugh...I don't want to see anymore bowls of ramen for as long as I live." she grumbled. The check was soon brought to them, and luckily they were paying regular all-you-could-eat price. There would be some problems if they didn't have enough, and Aisha already knew that from experience. In the meantime, the workers had come to collect their bowls, sing this time to count up for their competition as well. It took the entire kitchen to come and haul those bowls away, but eventually they had cleaned up the area around the two. "Uhn...s-so how much is it?"

By now, Gene had leaned back over his chair, his stomach rolling from the amount of food that he had eaten just now. If he had to suck down any more of the ramen bowls of any of those rice balls, then Gene would've passed out from the sight of those things. But, at least now it was all said and done and these two were now getting a little bit of a break from all of the binge eating. When he felt his stomach give another roll, Gene gave out a groan before he held a hand over his stomach, wincing a bit as well. "Ughhh... Remind me to never do that again..." He spoke in a clearly exahausted tone of voice before he heard the check plopping down between the two of them as the bowls were cleared away from them. Looking over and picking the check up, he looked over to the payment required before turning it over to Aisha and showing her that while it was the All-You-Can-Eat price. Relatively cheap for good quality food, but at least it wasn't as pricey as most places.

"That much..." Gene groaned out to her before his hand flopped back down onto the table. At this point, it felt as though he needed a crane to pull him out of there.

Aisha let out a heavy sigh, as she could only agree with him. "I hear ya. Just one bowl will be good for me..." As he placed the check down, she weakly reached to grab it, staring down at the dinky piece of paper. As he said, they would just be paying regualr price. If they were paying for each of those bowls they'd most likely have to work in the kitchen to pay it back. That, or they could dine-and-dash. She was about to hand it back to him when she noticed something on the back. They appeared to be tally marks written out in two separate columns. One column read 'Red Head' with the other being 'Animal'. She nearly ripped that paper to a million shreds. "Who...are they calling an animal?!" On closer inspection, it appeared to be the number of bowls that they had eaten for the competition. She took this time to patiently count up the marks, nearly choking as she finished. She had to count again, making sure there were no errors in this. As it stood, the 'Red Head' had eaten a total of 45 bowls, with Aisha racking up 44 and a half. "Damn that last bowl!" she thought, crying a little on the inside. "Ugh...I guess you should take a look at this." she muttered, handing him the check once more while she reached around for the payment.

When Gene looked at the back of the check, he saw that the two had eat 89 and a half bowls, 45 for him and 44 and a half for Aisha. However, he was a little irate when he was addressed as "Red Head" on the check, but when his stomach gave another roll, that brief irritation was quickly squashed, groaning out painfully as he lolled his head back onto the headrest of the chair. "Right... Let's... Hang around a bit... Just until our stomachs settle down... If I move, I think I'm gonna puke..." He spoke once more as he then lifted his head up and then leaned forward so that his chin was now down on the table, his eyes closed and his stomach still giving him some minor pains here and there. To be honest, he was in too much pain to think of what he would have her do once they got back to the Outlaw Star.

"Y-yeah...that sounds like a plan." It didn't look like either of them would be going anywhere with how much they had eaten. In a way, it served them right for eating more than they needed, but in a competition like this between them, they had to throw the rules out the window. "You'd think they would have something to calm our stomachs down in case this happened." She managed to pull out the necessary payments (which came from her pay from work), setting the money with the bill. "T-there's...the payment...just like I said." It bugged her a bit that she had lost in this challenge, but she knew when enough was enough. She wasn't going to eat past her capacity. "It's going to be a pain walking back to the ship..."

"You think I don't know that?" Gene answered as he turned his head to face her. "But I'll tell ya what. I'll call a cab down here and have them pick us up and take us back to the ship. Once we're there, I'm gonna take a nap down in my quarters. Besides, I think I need a bit of a nap to let this stuff settle down for a while." He explained before he gave out a little cough once more as he then began to look around for a payphone to use. When he didn't see one off the bat, he looked over to Aisha and muttered the same question on his mind. "Did we pass a phone booth on our way here? I think we did." He said.

"Ah, that sounds like a plan. It was already quite a walk just to find this place." That was ironic coming from her, especially since she had been riding on Gene's back the entire time. "I hope a cab gets here soon. I could really use a good cat nap right now." She said that as though she were gong to fall asleep right now. She perked up a little as he asked his question. "Hmm...? Come to think of it, I'm not too sure. I feel like there was one just outside the restaurant though. Even if there isn't, we're bound to find one around somewhere." They weren't really in a rush anyway. The Outlaw Star still required some maintenance, which Gene was most likely going to leave to Jim. Suzuka was probably still out somewhere. It was then that Aisha remembered that Melfina had gone out shopping for their meal later. Her stomach growled painfully at the thought. "Ugh...I forgot about that."
