Anything wrong with my request thread?

I'm having trouble trying to attract someone for my thread linked here: Seeking a Snatcher [AHiT RP]

I'm wondering; what am I missing with the thread? Do I need to describe something that I overlooked, like plot details or something more to the Snatcher or my characters' profiles? Or maybe there isn't as much interest in the AHiT fandom, currently.

Thoughts and ideas will be appreciated.

The RT reads fine to me personally. I think your biggest hurdle is A Hat in Time is a very obscure game for roleplaying purposes.

I've never heard of the fandom you're requesting, nor seen it on anyone else's request thread, so I am going to guess that that is your main issue. Niche fandoms take forever to find. I have a fandom that's been on my list since I joined and I have rarely if ever gotten any requests for it, and even if I did the RP either didn't start or fizzled out after a few posts. That's just the nature of wanting niche. Combine a fandom few people have even heard of with a specific pairing and a long list of requirements and you'll likely be waiting for a bit for a partner.

I agree with the others; the fandom you're requesting is very niche. It would also be a tall order for anyone who hasn't experienced the game to take on The Snatcher role. Aside from that, I think the rest of your RT is great. I particularly liked your RP Tenants, and your Ons/Offs were super easy to read.

Just echoing what others said. I am familiar with A Hat in Time as I've seen it on the steam store once or twice and I know it kinda had some light success, but it's a fairly niche fandom.

Great... so what should I do then? :/
Realistically, if you want to keep the same idea, you just have to wait and hope. You don't have to change your request thread, but part and parcel of niche fandoms is recognizing the pool for partners is gonna be equally small.

It might behoove you to change that into say, a general fandom thread if you have other fandoms that you're interested in RP'ing in - or purpose it into a multi purpose RP thread and keep the hat in time idea as one idea among others.

If this is the only thing you want to RP, then you wait. That's really all you can do. Consistently bump and hope someone interested in the fandom takes the bait, so to speak.
If there are other things you'll write, maybe start a second thread (since you're allowed two per subforum) and open your interests up more broadly.

One thing you might want to emphasize is the age of the characters. Looking up the game it seems like they're 10, which isn't allowed here.

After that it depends how much you need your partner to have played through the game, learned the lore, and be able to accurately portray the character.

If you could point people to a YouTube video with enough clips of the character to get across what you're looking for than you enable many more to consider joining you.

As others said; your interest is both very specific and very niche. You may want to explain the game's plot and ideas you'd like to explore to newcomers if you don't mind them not knowing about the plot. I've never heard of the game myself, though your thread is well-made and clear.

Are there other RPs you'd be interested in pursuing? May want to make a separate thread for them if you do, or make it clear this is all you're interested in.

You know what? I was wrong; you did exactly what I suggested, which I hadn't seen the last time I dropped by your thread. I was wrong!

Another option, if it's possible, is to make your request fandom-adjacent. For example, I like aspects of a relationship between a vampire and a human from a book series I enjoyed. But it's unlikely that I will find someone who is familiar with them or wants the same type of RP. Instead of requesting that specific fandom, I just ask for an RP with the same ideas. I only play with OCs, though, so it's easier for me to do that.

Can you give me examples?

For example, my enemies-to-lovers thread has:
A submissive lycanthrope (MC) with a dominant/alpha lycanthrope or vampire. (Anita Blake universe would be a bonus).

The link is directly to the type of bond I'm looking for (Human servant, it's called), so that anyone interested can read up on it even if they're not familiar with the concept.
