Rose shook her head and tugged her hand pulling her with she knew what the princess was going to do and she didn't want her exposing herself if they ran they would find someone and that person could help them
 
Emeline stumbled along but was still running after her, pressing her free hand against her side that was bleeding from where the rock at cut her. Definitely a bit deeper than she had thought but there wasn't much she could do about it. However as they were running, there were a few trees that were toppling behind them, slowing those that were chasing them.
 
Rose kept going and kept pulling her along so that they could get going. it wasn't long before Rose was spotting Al and she raced to him so that they could be safe
 
Emeline was just following after her and soon enough they were spotting Al in the distance. Perfect. Although the pair of them definitely weren't making it that far, not with slipping in mud and falling onto the ground. Definitely had the enemy catching up with them more easily.
 
The other guards that were with him were rejoining up with him and were launching into battle as well. All of them except for one, one of them was going over to the two women to check on them.
 
Rose pointed to Emelines side where it was evident that she was injured. Rose wasn't hurt thankfully as that would make work hard but she was worried about the princess
 
The guard was just stating that there wasn't much he could do that without anyway to properly wash it. But for the time being he was ripping part of his tunic to make a makeshift bandage for the time being.
 
Emeline was just watching the men run off before she was just sinking down to her knees in the mud, just a little more shaken by what had happened.
 
This had some of the guards nodding although there was the one who had made the nasty comment about the princess being fake kind, who was now making another nasty comment. "Wouldn't have happened if these humans were more observant to who they are around. And making sure not to get separated from their fucking guards."
 
Al turned and looked at him and then snapped "shut up the princess is injured and it will be our heads that roll because we failed to keep her safe. if we are lucky the king will just dock our pay, if not we could be looking at some serious down time and possibly even rank demotions"

The man was just going visibly pale at that point in time which had another one of the guards just stating, "Stop saying stupid things already."
 
The other guards were just following after although the one was still grumbling and complaining about the entire situation at the time. "Would you shut up already." another was grumbling.
 
"Don't be mad at them.... They are entitled to their opinions. I'm aware that many within the palace look down on me. I don't blame them. I'm a human.... something that should be a slave yet.... They have to listen to my words. They have to listen to the words of a creature that would typically be prey, they would typically be bossed around." Emeline was mumbling at that point in time.
