Emeline was just speaking, "Father.... Would be upset. And then wonder what I did to deserve those words." Well that wasn't a lie at all either. She was pushing a bit of her hair out of her face as she was moving to sit up, giving a small hiss.
Emeline was just looking for a brief moment in time although she was soon enough she was getting to her feet so that she could get out of the carriage. Well she was probably quite the sight at that point in time - clothes covered in mud and blood, and they were tattered and torn from jumping out of the carriage earlier and running.
Apocalypse seemed to be approaching as well before he was questioning what had happened, just studying them for a brief moment in time. It wasn't long before he was summoning one of his healers to tend to Emeline.
Al bowed to the king and Rose did her best to do the same with out removing pressure from the princesses side. Al then spoke "the carriage the princess and her servant got in to was manned by people out to her her unknown to either of them. when they had a chance they escaped but the princess was hurt in the process"
They were taken to the medical wing although with the fact that neither the general nor the king had followed - it wasn't a shock at all that the attitude that was shown to them from the doctors was cruel and indifferent. More or less shoving the two onto the beds and telling them to hurry up and lay down.
The doctor was just looking before he was stating that he wasn't going to be wasting any healing magic on the likes of humans but he would at least stitch it up. Not a shock at all that he wasn't gentle about cleaning it up at all, Emeline just cringing in pain.
Emeline didn't seem to complain at all, no by the expression that she had... Rose would be able to tell that this was treatment that even she was use to receiving. Yet things did change significantly when there was a whispering that General Roman was headed that direction. That is when they actually seemed to be tending to her injury with care and trying to not cause pain. The doctor applying a salve that would numb the area so that he could do stitches as Roman was coming in.
Rose stood and bowed to the man and then she moved to sitting on the floor by the princess waiting so she could guide her lady back to her rooms once she was ready
Roman was just watching at that point in time although he didn't see to say anything at all, although if Rose studied him she would definitely be able to tell that he had an idea of what had actually been going on. "Make sure that they are treated carefully. After all this is the King's precious daughter and his favored slave. It wouldn't do well for any of you if you didn't." A warning. A dangerous warning.
Rose hated being the mans slave and would rather serve the princess but for some reason the king had taken a liking to her and there was little she could do about it
The doctor was speaking, "Of course. We are taking care of them. Treating them as though they are fragile dolls that could break at any moment." Well that was definitely a bullshit lie but nobody was going to say anything.
Rose looked at Roman and then at the Princess and then did something that would probably get her in trouble she wrote quickly that he was lying to the general and held the note up for him to see
Roman was just looking at the note for a brief moment in time before his eyes were just flickering towards the doctors - who hadn't seen the note luckily for Rose. "Although.... I do hope that you aren't lying to me. Because now that I think about it... the king asked that the princess be healed right away. And giving stitches.... isn't being healed right away."
