I need help with my opening post...can you help?

(I am hoping a refresh to my opening post might get some more responses)

Let's get the basic rules out of the way.

-I am here to have fun and enjoy the story/smut fest we create. I am not one to worry about spelling and grammar as mine are not perfect. I will give it my best shot but if you are looking for that perfect paragraph...please look elsewhere.

-Please be over 18/21. I will not bend on this rule. With that being said all characters that are in the story will be of such age. Unless their side characters...nothing sexual for those under that age frame I set out.

-I will only play the athletic body type guys/slight bara. I will expect you to do the same. I am not into the thinly build/girly types. I want my men to be men. I am very visual and have photos of what I like. I am open to seeing what you might come up with. I have started to not worry too much about having a photo as a visual guide. I will take on a description.

-I will give/can give at least a full paragraph. Sometimes more if I get inspired. I want the same out of your...at least a paragraph. Please no one or two liners as those zap the will to keep the story going.

-I play 95% top. With that being said they do have a dark and kinky side but are also romantic. They will have that drive but aren't that too cruel like some like. They will come to your place for a date, bring roses, chocolate and handcuffs. For the other 5% I can play a power bottom and a switch. My bottoms still like to have control and ride the top while he is tied down.

-I work two jobs; the main one is Monday-Friday. It's mostly mornings hours but that can always change. My other job has been working Saturday mornings starting at 6am. I used to be able to post all the time, but I have learned some hard lessons and will take my time in a reply, mostly as I want to give you something to enjoy and respond back too.

-Only 99% of the times will I play OCs. There are maybe 1-2 canon characters that I could play.



-One of the ideas I love to use is role reversal. The older man is the sub. I even can enjoy the older man being the omega. Another idea would place the stay at home man would be the dom. The money maker type/the business man would be the sub. Any of these ideas can be put into any story we have.



On to the good stuff.

I have role played for many years. I have been though a lot, and I like to think I have grown as a writer to some degree. My grouping is broken down into five main groups and then each ones has some sub sections. There are stories where a few groups might be mixed together. Just more ways to have fun.

Fandoms? (Non-superhero stories)

Hey there! Maybe post your timezone so people know what you're referring too when you mention your work hours; a lot of people only want to write with someone when they're actively online during the writing.

Try and describe what athletic and Bara means to people; many won't understand it unless they know more niche manga/hentai, for instance.

If you want, try and link images as hints of what you do and don't like for reference, perhaps?

Make sure to say clearly at the first if you're here for Male/Male.

Try and give some examples of Fandoms you might want to play as, and more detail about what Original Plots you'd enjoy?

Keep in mind that this is only my opinion.

I think the structure flows a little weird. While I don't think a long-winded greeting is important, I think a little bit of pleasantry goes a long way. Jumping right into "here's the rules" comes off as a bit harsh, and then they're a little all over the place. There doesn't seem to be much organization to the order. Also, the over 18 thing is redundant; everyone here is over 18, so if you prefer over 21, just say that.

I'd probably phrase things a little bit like this, but add your own personality to it! This is just a kind of robotic overhaul for function's sake.

- First and foremost, I'm here to have fun. My posts might not be perfect, but I do put effort into my replies, and that's all I ask of my partner. Please, no one- or two-liners; I try to give at least a paragraph, and I ask the same of you.
- I prefer partners and characters to be over the age of 21.
- My replies might take a bit as I do work two jobs, but I do try to post within [whatever amount of time is normal for you]. [Maybe put something about if they can poke you after a certain amount of time, like 3-5 days, or whatever works for you.]
- As for characters, I prefer manly/athletic types for both myself and my partner. I don't enjoy thin builds or feminine men. If you want to share or receive image references for the types of characters I like to play, I am happy to do so! Also, I prefer to play OCs. I will rarely play canon.
- I mostly play top/dom, but I may play power bottom/switch for the right plot.

As for what I'll write, that falls under five main genres (superhero, slice of life, mythology/magic, sci-fi, and fandom) which I've listed plots for below.

The rest is just kind of unnecessary/offputting detail. I don't really think many partners need to know your exact hourly schedule, and some of the rest of it comes off as a bit negative. ("I used to be able to post all the time, but I have learned some hard lessons and will take my time in a reply", "I have been though a lot, and I like to think I have grown as a writer to some degree", etc.)

You're here to have fun, open with it! Draw people in with how YOU have fun . Tempt, seduce, put yourself out in your full, unadulterated glory. Someone who's interested will slog through your rules to play with you.

A cheesy or thoughtful quote? A writing sample? Some pretty pictures? Memes? A BBcoded to hell and back thread? The possibilties are endless, hit them with it first, hook your prospective partners before discussing your rules.

I want to thank everybody that has given their thoughts on this. It really has helped out. I am still working on the plots to stories I have, but there is the new starting pot. I still have some work to do, but I am glad to post this.

Hello everybody, Dancing King here.

I have been on BM for a few years know, role playing back in the days of Yahoo Groups and messengers. I am here for M/M story plots, maybe something where I get two or more lucky studs. With this being said I have no problem playing the top/dom roles. I am open to playing a power bottom, but he will have the control in the love nest of our story. If that doesn't make sense, please reach out to me. I am here to have fun and escape the real world and its drama, my spelling and grammar are not the best; I know that is a turn off to some. I can give at least one full paragraph; I am trying to give more as I take time to think of details and how to further the plot. Sometimes I do like the fun PWP idea.

My characters will be manly/athletic types, and I need yours to be the same. I am not into the build of the thin or feminine males, just not my thing. If your male character has some feminine traits, lets still talk and see if we can work something out. I only have one or two canon characters, while all others are created by myself. I can/will tailor characters to each story. I can even take on multi- stories for one person.

There are a few things that I love in all/any of my stories: romance, wild and crazy love making, aftercare, role reversal, Asian men (Japan/China/Korea) men with long hair. Bondage/kinkier lifestyle, Story building/world building.



I am not able to plot every day; I work 2 jobs and that does take a lot out of me. If you can't post every day; that will be fine with me. If you're going to be gone; do your best to keep my informed. I will do the same. After a month of your leaving and me not getting any notes; I will be thinking that the story is dead and move on. If you wish to pick it back up; we can talk about it. Please understand that I am not trying to be mean; but this has happened to many times, and I am just worn out.



I do love chatting on the PMs here or discord as much as I love plotting with the partner. There are times in which I am able to keep the story going based on what you have posted. I am a very visual person; sometimes describing is hard for me. I am open to showing real life guys, places as well as ideas in art style. If I am giving you one-two paragraphs, I am excepting that in return. Don't give me just one-two sentence.

I have five main groupings for my story plots; some are detailed plots. Others are just simple MY/YC and need to be fleshed out.
