Meet in the guild hall for a contract or dungeon delving feels a bit more light-hearted, which could be fun and be a good way to set things up first for us. more low-impact get-used-to-things before we go hard.
I didn't take into account the idea of easing the group in so that we get used to either posting habits, or forming a posting cohesion, would be a good thing to take into account as well.

I don't really want to do gritty too much. Sure there can be bits of that but I'd very much rather it be mostly light-hearted and fun

Made a starter post! Would love to know thoughts!

@wiki234 I'm not sure I understand your post. Probably it's just because of how my brain works, but I can't parse what happened out of those paragraphs

I'm chill. Got work in about 1.5 hours.

I'm deliberating making an IC post, but I feel like everyone should get at least one IC post in before anyone double dips.

I had a thought. Not sure it works though. Thinking there's some form of commotion where we need to team up. Nothing super major but something where the characters can't do it on their own

Oh also, I should probably explain what a rideling is. It's a riding raptor, essentially. They're pretty fast. If you have seen Seikrets from Monster Hunter Wilds it's basically that, though I'd the idea before I knew they existed tbh XD

bestiary in the lore document? :D
commotions, big or small, would get us doing things...but i do think we wait for others first

....also some chatting time before then :V

oh just if you have critters unique to the setting, it's probably a good idea to have a section on'em in the document
I did it! :D

Among the beasts of burden that the kin use, two are most commonly used as mounts and companions by the kin that can afford them.

Pandrylyr, colloquially (and confusingly) called dragonwolves at times, are large canine creatures with feathered wings and long, fluffy tails

Ridelings are colorful raptor-like creatures with smaller wing-arms

Both pandrylyr and ridelings are somewhat difficult to train, usually listening to one main rider they bond with. As such, they tend to be used mostly by adventurers and similar, who need such beasts during their excursions into the wilderness. More conventional beasts are used by caravans and others who take the roads, especially when a train would not suffice

As far as the commotion, I'm not sure what would be best. Maybe a mugging or something leads to them finding a dungeon or somethin
