Yee! I like it.
Oh... Why not?i played ff16, do not recommend, bleh.
Fair enough. I'm sorry. Just a friend got it for me and I'm thinking of playing it still though......I could do a whole-ass rant, but this isn't the place for that. Long story short, their execution of the story left a lot to be desired
In what way do you mean?what's the currency like?
To be chosen as a Taelesol, one must present themselves to the Forge during a period of time known as The Offering. It is named after the act of prospective Taelesol ‘offering’ themselves to the Forge, so as to allow them to judge their heart and soul. It has unknown, but very exacting standards – it is never clear if one will be found worthy or not. The Offering has become an event celebrated around the world, but no place more so than Lurelin, where a large festival occurs every year. Blossoms fall from the branches of the World Tree, dissipating into glowing aether and creating a wonderful light show in the sky.
Beyond the gods, there are beings of great power that hold sway over certain aspects of the world. Among these titans, the Forces are primal creatures whose power seeps all over Kenterra. They are large and embody their elements, usually dormant in their hidden domains. However, sometimes a Force may end up going into Rampage, causing tumultuous weather and other effects.

While all kin are born with the ability to weave, the development of such power takes time and practice. Though any one kin may be born with an abundance of talent and potential, only those who work will be able to truly use the power of aether. Aether can be woven into many different forms for various different effects. One thing that weaving cannot do, however, is heal. One may use aether to fuse bone and sew shut wounds, but there must be knowledge of how the body works to do so safely. It can also not imitate elemental effects.
Divine shaping is using the power of the gods to create effects, some of which edge into the form of miracles.. Indeed, one of the greatest abilities of divine shaping is the ability to channel divinity into a body and heal wounds with much less effort or knowledge needed. Farseeing is also considered a form of divine shaping, given that all Farseers are born able to shape, but it is postulated that the Titans of Sun, Moon, and Cosmos are the ones who grant the visions that come unbidden. Shapers have some difficulty learning to weave aether, but it is nowhere near impossible.
Beyond weaving aether, and divine shaping, there is one other form of magic: elementalism. Long ago, each Force blessed a single bloodline with the ability to tap into their powers. These bloodlines have long since intermixed with many other families, and though some keep records dating back hundreds of years, by this point almost anyone can be blessed with the ability of Elemental Tapping, but only with the powers of a single Force. Like shaping, those who can utilize tapping find Aether more difficult to manage, but it is still well within their abilities.
Guilds are groups of adventurers and support staff. Each nation has three major guilds, which all answer to the central governance founded upon Lurelin. The six major guilds then branch off into many minor guilds, which answer to their parent guild. In this way, Guilds are functionally governed only by themselves, although they respect the laws of the lands. Guilds handle all sorts of contracts, from minor requests made by citizens, to emergency suppression of new dungeons nearby a town or city. For a Taelesol to join a guild is always a major honor, and guilds scramble to have representatives at the Offering.
Aetheric crystals are very much considered the lifeblood of Kenterra, utilized in all forms of technology. They grow all over, regrowing in a similar way to mushroom sprouts. Though anyone might be able to find and mine crystals, only the Consortiums are given license to process them into a usable form. Smaller crystals and byproducts from this processing are made into small coins known as shards. Shards are used as currency, having little to no energy value. Counterfeit crystals, those processed outside of Consortiums, are considered dangerous and are universally illegal in all the nations. This, of course, does not stop everyone.
Urbeast materials and other items found in dungeons that are not native to Kenterra are usually considered a danger to the realm, and so guilds offer bounties of shards on the deposit of these items even to non-members.
