Sapphire didn't spend the time in the mirror, not particularly worried about her appearance since there was a possibility that they were under attack. Hygiene could always be taken care of later. She did, however, sneak a glance at her new lover and grinned. Oh yes, she had missed how handsome he was in the brief glances she'd gotten of him before last night. But again, that could wait.
Captain Zura frowned as they reached the bridge. Creed beat her to asking for status reports, but the thing that truly floored her was the actual problem.
"Captain Creed," on of her female officers said, her voice ragged and tired. "We're dangerously low on fuel. The ship's engines are tied to the life support system. If they stop, there's a good chance that our life support will be sucked up to provide them enough energy to get where we're going."
"Seriously?" She face-palmed and looked at the map, setting a course for the nearest station. "The sooner we dock the better. I have friends at this port that will help us."
