"and that was stupid to do we all know that he has a soft spot for his sister" while they hadn't known who she was they had known of her and they knew that the commissioner loved his sister
 
Nox was just commenting, "I don't think the chief is going to have his job for long. Skye was telling me that she had overheard the chief talking about how he thinks that Luna just faked the attack, and is now doing all of this for attention." Yes because she had definitely faked the fever that had resulted in her having a seizure, that she didn't even recall having.
 
"yea he is an ass like that he is the one who doesn't want to put a guard on your sister" if the bastard who had attacked her was in jail then things would be fine but since he wasn't Nate worried
 
Nox was just commenting, "He won't because he doesn't think that anything actually happened." Despite the fact that multiple cops had witnessed what had happened in the basement, as multiple cops had been there to assist in the matter.
 
once they were out of the house Nate was locking up and then heading to his car "need a ride?" Nate didn't know if he had driven or gotten a ride to his home
 
Nox was giving a nod of his head before he was commenting, "I had walked here from the hospital to talk to you last night."
