The Art Thief's Obsession (LunarWolf and Guardian Angel)

As they were looking around the secondary location they would end up finding a hidden room, the only hidden room, that had pictures all over the walls. There were quite a few pictures of Luna it seemed - evidence that he had in fact been keeping a close eye on her. But there were also pictures of his many other victims - all of the other woman that were pictured were all currently missing and it was speculated that they were dead. So this was pretty evident that Luna had become the next target of the madman.

This had the chief looking over before he was stating that there was no need with the man behind bars. Yet again the chief wasn't really somebody who actually liked the extra work - it truly had some wonder how he had gotten his job.

The chief was soon enough dismissing him and stating that he had a case to focus on - not worrying about some girl. Nope he didn't seem to think that keeping a potential victim safe was as important as finding the bodies of the dead victims.

There were a couple of coworkers that saw him stressing and one was actually asking if everything was alright.

This had some of them nodding although one was commenting that it was sad how the chief didn't see a living witness as important.

There were a couple of other cops that seemed to be assisting them as well. Although there were questions about the twins that had been at the station earlier; wanting to know about them.

"How do those twins seem to know so much about the paintings? So much detail about them.... details that we never knew either." one of the others was musing, as though implying that they were thieves. Which wasn't a lie... not that the police knew that at all. But what the cop didn't realize was that the twins were the children of the original artist.

One of the others was just looking over and stating, "They are the children of the original artist. I met the woman once at an art gallery."

Nate and Max looked at him and then thought for a moment as they went over the original case "that's right sorry we have been so busy we both forgot"

Somebody was giving a small nod and soon enough everybody seemed to be heading off so that they could do their own work.

The night wore on and Max wouldn't find himself getting any messages at all from Nox about anything more pertaining to Luna. No updates - negative or positive. Nox was currently at the hospital sitting with his sister; who still hadn't woken up at all. As a precaution the doctors had actually ended up intubating her to be safe at that point in time.

Nate and Max finally finished processing the crime scene and headed back to the station. Max looked at his phone and while no news was good news he still worried
