The Art Thief's Obsession (LunarWolf and Guardian Angel)

Skye was just nodding her head and was getting her laptop set up so that she could work on her game stuff, although she was asking for his help with getting it plugged in.

Skye was just nodding her head before she was diving into working on her gaming stuff at that point in time. Right now she was working on getting the bugs fixed up in what she was going to submit for the competition and eventually she was going to switch over to working on more of the regular game. Truth was more of it was completed than what people thought - it was just that part was the most complete, but for a reason.

Skye just continued to work on a few things and was just getting stuff updated. She did however take a break to look at her phone when it chimed to see that she had a text from Nicolas. She found herself giggling a bit before she was speaking, "Nicolas is on his way but is curious as to if anybody can get the door for him. He decided that he was going to pick up pizza on his way here.... and got about 20 of various types to feed everybody. And his has some 2 liters in his car that need to be brought in."

Skye was just watching and soon enough her brother was coming into the building with a handful of pizzas and he spoke, "Somebody go out to my car and bring in a couple of liters of pop and some of the other pizzas. This is my way of saying thank you to everybody for all of your hard work recently. And a congrats to being able to deal with the old chief.... somehow.... for so long."

Soon enough everything was inside and Nicolas was telling everybody to help themselves to some pizza while they worked. He was even bringing Skye a couple of slices.

Nicolas was just commenting, "Well give some of them to me and we will work on them together." Already his sister was nose deep in her own thing at that point in time.

Soon the precinct was busy going through files, answering calls, sometimes responding to some calls. But for the most part it was a pretty mellow day at the time anyways.

About the only questionable call that they got was from a frightened child talking about a monster under his bed. It seemed more like a prank at the time, but there were a few officers that were opting to go check it out. Last time they had gotten a call like that, it had been a child's cry for help from an abusive parent. And they had thought it was just a prank call. Now a lot of the times; prank calls they did respond to just to be safe. Because there had been a few times were it turned out that it hadn't so much been a prank; it had been very much a cry for help made to seem like it was fun and games. Smart thinking truly.
