Jugger x Kira

"Aw come on," she pouted when he got up and went into the bathroom. She laid on her stomach on the floor for a moment, glaring at the door Nathan was behind. After a moment she stood up and plopped down on the bed, enjoying the softness of the pillows and blankets. Soon she drifted off to sleep in the comfy bed.

Nathan sighed and stood up. He decided to just look in the mirror to see how he aged for the past few years. So many years of his life wasted as he searched for that vampire. As he watched into the mirror...something felt awkward. He couldn't look away from the mirror, it was as if he was in a trance and soon his pupils turned purple as if possessed. He opened the bathroom door and saw Garnet laying on the bed. He walked over and laid next to her and seemed emotionless.

When she felt the bed move, Garnet opened her eyes to see that it was Nathan who laid down next to her.

"I thought you didn't want to sleep on the bed," she said, wondering why he seemed so blank. Maybe he was just tired.

Her eyes widened in surprise when he did that, and she pushed him away.

"What are you doing? You're acting strange. Snap out of it," she said, shaking him to try and put him back into his right mind.

She slapped him across his face, pushing him away once more.

"This isn't like you. What the hell is wrong with you?" she got up off the bed to get away from him, wondering what exactly was going on here.

She stared at him for a moment when he said that, glad that at least he wasn't getting up after her.

"You're not in your right mind," she replied, backing away from the bed. She hoped that if she left for awhile he'd eventually snap out of it.

She caught him as he tripped, wondering what was wrong with him.

"Stop acting so weird!" she exclaimed, grabbing the nearest object, a vase, and smashed it against the back of his head to knock him out. Maybe that would help him come to his senses.

"Oh thank goodness," Garnet sighed when she heard Nathan finally speaking like he normally does. She licked at the wound on the back of his head, before ungraciously letting go of Nathan so he dropped to the ground.

"Geez, what the hell was wrong with you?" she asked him, glaring down at him.

Nathan- What're you talking about...? I just remember sitting in the bathroom and I passed out...

He got up and sat on the bed and held his head in pain.

"Were you sleep walking? You came in here and laid down next to me, acting very strange," she said, then paused as she thought, "what were you doing before you passed out?"

Nathan- Uh...I was using the mirror I think...then I think I headed out and went to sleep...

He sighed.

Nathan- What did I do...I feel a bit wierd on my lips.

"Uh, just acting weird, that's all. You seemed pretty emotionless," she answered him, avoiding saying what he really did, "so before you did anything stupid I broke this vase on the back of your head to try and knock some sense into you."

"Oh, just wander out somewhere, or get yourself hurt," she replied, looking away from him.

She came over and sat by him on the bed with a sigh. She had this feeling that things were going to become troublesome, and that perhaps they should leave the hotel. But she didn't want to leave the master suite that was here until they had to.

"I don't know," she shrugged, not really in the mood for teasing him anymore. She leaned back on her hands, crossing her legs, and stared up at the ceiling.

Nathan- Aye....I think I'll take that offer to sleep on the bed...I feel like my head's gonna burst...

He laid down on the bed and buried his head into the pillow.

(oh gawd the great gatsby is soooo boring. DX i feel like my brain is going to become like mush after reading this.)

Garnet didn't say anything to that, and just watched as he laid down on the bed. She wasn't tired anymore herself, so she stood and went to the window to stare outside and the desolate town. It then crossed her mind to check the mirror in the bathroom, though she was a bit cautious about it. She stood there by the window, staring at the bathroom door.

(it's a book i have to read for my english class. i already read it my junior year of high school. hated it then, hate it now too.)

"That mirror," she started, "I want to look at it, but then again..."

She frowned, debating still on whether or not she should take a look. The same thing might happen to her like what happened to Nathan.
