Jugger x Kira

"If I stay with you, I'll be able to continue to drink blood to survive," she said turning around and walked after him, but she wasn't looking at him, "so I'll stay with you for now."

Her arms were crossed and she obviously was still upset with him. He was such an idiot still, even if he was finally admitting he'd prefer her with him. When he phrased it like that it sounded like the only reason why he wanted her to stay was so he could use her to fight the vampires.

"No," she answered, looking forward and not at him. She had heard him stop though and so stopped herself, wondering why he asked that all of a sudden.

Nathan- Hm...alright.

He continued to walk on until they were in town.

Nathan- Go do whatever... I'm gonna go listen for some information.

By that, he meant go to the pub to get a drink also.

"Don't get so drunk like you did last night, or else I might not be here again when you're sober," she said, shooting him a dangerous glare.

Garnet looked down at her clothes and figured it was time to get some new clothes since what she wore today was stained with dirt and blood.

Once again, there was that attitude that made her angry with him in the first place. She just walked off though, not saying anything, though she did smirk as she felt the money in her coat pocket. Thanks to the pup- er, Nathan- being drunk last night, she was able to take some of his money. She thought of it as a bit of compensation for being so rude to her.

She went and bought a new skirt, along with a low cut tank top to go with it, as well as new underwear and bra. After that she brushed her hair out with a comb she purchased and put it up with a hair-tie. The clean clothes and having her hair brushed made her feel better.

(she didn't take all of his money, but oh well)

Garnet found him in the bar afterward, to see that he was drunk and passed out. Great. She paid the barkeep for what he drank before placing one of his arms around her shoulders and carried him out of the bar to their hotel room. She dropped him onto the bed, and turned to head towards the door. Though, he hadn't said anything yet because he was drunk. If he did wake up, she hoped he wouldn't say something stupid like last time.

(I stated earlier that he used the last of his money to pay off his last batch. So yeah lol)

Nathan huddled as he slept on the bed. He began to mumble.

Nathan- Garnet...good bye...friend...

Then his fingers made a weak looking movement as if he pulled a trigger.

(She can take that as one of two things if she remembers all he said earlier or not.)

(ah ok)

However she wasn't looking at him, so she just thought he was twitching in his sleep. She realized though that she hadn't drank any of his blood for awhile. Well, before she did leave, she might as well get some. She walked over to his bed, pushing the clothes away from his neck and brushing the hair away. She then leaned forward to sink her teeth into his flesh.

"Duh," she replied, glaring at him, "now give me that blood."

She closed the distance between herself and him, her eyes on his neck to continue what she had started.

As she bit down his neck, Nathan reached out and wrapped his arms around her.

Nathan- I'm sorry...

After the dream, he felt he had to say sorry before he would finish his life's journey.

She was a bit shocked when his arms were then around her and he apologized. After she drank the blood, she pulled back to look him in the face.

"Sorry for what?" she asked, wondering if he would answer. It seemed that he was still asleep somehow, but still, she had to ask further about this.

Nathan- I'm sorry for snapping at you when I was drunk...It was uncalled for...

He was still drunk but he pulled her tightly against him in a hug.

Nathan- Forgive me...!!

He said beggingly.

Garnet blinked in surprise when he suddenly pulled her closer like that, though she didn't fight him.

"...I forgive you," she replied, "so don't do something like that again, and I'll forget all about it."

Slowly she wrapped her arms around him, returning the hug.

Nathan- Thank you...thank you so much...You've been the only and closest thing to a friend I've had since....

His eyes widened and he moved away from her.

Nathan- Nevermind...nice getup you got there.

She was a bit surprised when he suddenly did move away like that.

"Um, thanks," she said when he complimented her outfit, "but what were you going to say? Closet thing to a friend since what?"

Nathan- Nothing. Its none of your business.

He got up and looked at her with a sad look before heading out with all his equipment to head out to a different town.

Garnet tilted her head to the side curiously, but just shrugged and decided to drop it for now. She followed him out of the hotel since it seemed they would head for the next town now.

Nathan began to dash off not caring if she couldn't keep up. He wanted to find a certain vampire as soon as possible but all leads were thinning fast.

She was able to keep up with him, but she just didn't know why he was hurrying along. She thought it might have something to do with he vampire he asked about earlier since that would make the most sense.

"What the hell happened to this place?" Garnet asked out loud, looking around at the empty town. The atmosphere certainly did scream death all around the place.
