(Reboot) The Cavern (LunarWolf and Guardian Angel)

Grant looked at her and then spoke softly "we need to get back to the others. there is noting we can do to help them now but we will do our best once the fighting starts to get them down and back"
 
Calypso was nodding her head before she was speaking "This is just a small force. I'm sure his main force is going to try and come through the canyon." Not that they were going to have much luck not with Azalea waiting there.
 
Grant nodded his head lightly "we should still go back and let the others know what we have found" Grant wanted to make sure all was well and settled before they started any fighting
 
Calypso was nodding her head before she was turning so that they could head back, quietly moving through the brush.
 
Caly just kept an eye out as they headed back although after a bit of walking she was halting Grant and nodding in the general direction where there were sounds and they could see some of the Mad King's men making their way through the forest. Well the scouts definitely weren't being all that quiet at that point in time.
 
Grant looked at the men and then shook his head lightly he would have beaten the men or making so much noise if they had been his men as part of being a scout meant being quite and stealthy not making a bunch of noise and alerting people to your presence
 
Caly was just silently chuckling before she was continuing through the forest so that they could get back to the kingdom. The scouts were speaking loud enough for the pair of them to hear as well - so they did hear the conversation about the canyon and how the Mad King was planning to try and sneak his army in through the canyon to strike from behind. Very predictable.
 
Grant shook his head and then followed after her making sure that they didn't spot either of them was easy as they were too occupied talking to one another to spot them
 
"Although I did hear some news from some of our other men that I guess the kingdom actually sent out some soldiers to try and stop the Mad King. A single woman and a handful of soldiers." one of the scouts was commenting with a laugh and the other was stating that there was no way that anybody would be able to stand up against the Mad King. "Not to mention... the kingdom has fallen under the rule of a woman.... In the end she will bow down to the Mad King out of fright." the other scout was commenting. Caly was just continuing to walk quietly although there was that want to murder them both then and there.
 
Grant tapped her shoulder lightly and then pointed to his sword before pointing at the men as he was silently offering to kill them both but he wouldn't act not with out her ok. it was once thing to act on a battle field but when they were just scouting he wanted to make sure that there weren't any mistakes that would put them at risk
 
Caly was just looking for a brief moment in time before she was shrugging and just giving him a look that said to go for it.
 
Grant grinned and then fell back falling behind the two men before he drew his sword and then moved to attack them. Grant took the first on by surprise and then faced the other scout head on
 
Caly was just watching quietly and just making sure that there wasn't anybody else around, nope it seemed like it was just the two of them. This had her heading out of the brush as well before she was giving a rather innocent smile towards the scout who seemed to be a bit full of himself - thinking he could win.
 
Grant chuckled and then moved to the side a bit so that she could easily join in. the male was stupid to think he could take both of them on and win
 
Caly was just looking for a moment before she was commenting, "Imagine.... I am that queen that you were talking about that was just going to bow down to your king without any hesitation." With that she was just giving a smirk before she was drawing her daggers that she had on her.
 
Grant chuckled and then moved to keep the male from fleeing but letting her have some fun with the male before he ended up dead by one of their hands
 
In the end the scouts were both being killed and Caly was wiping a bit of blood onto her shirt without too much hesitation. "Are you certain that General Azalea will be able to halt the Mad King at the canyon?" she was questioning Grant after a moment in time.
 
Grant looked at her "the only way that he will get through is if she falls and given her issue with the man I doubt she will let him get far and if need bee she will send for reinforcements" Grant trusted Azalea and knew the woman would fight till she died to keep him from attacking on two fronts
 
Caly was just nodding her head before she was speaking, "I would have never suspected that King Hayden would have a woman as his general."
 
"she earned her spot as one of the general and I will not play down the work she has put in" Grant respected her and he was glad the king did as well
 
Caly was just chuckling before she was commenting, "It is good that there are people that do recognize that...women can do what men do as well."
 
Caly was just looking for a brief moment in time before she was commenting, "She seems violent but she has a sweet side as well, a very protective side."
 
"she does it is part of when makes her dangerous she will protect this she likes but if she doesn't like you well then your on your own. well unless your a child or a pregnant woman" Grant shrugged a bit
