Eclair/Friend In The Shadows

Alice smiled and lent next to him "I guess so, though the guy just called me a crappy artist and just left, and Hitori hasn't struck out at me before either" she sighed closing her eyes and thinking about everything, it was a little hard to swallow, she might have someone trying to kill, her but her thought kept drifting back to the girl in her dream and the crack what did it mean. It was driving her insane not knowing but she knew someone would figure it out eventually.

She looked at him and blushed deeply, he really said that, he actually said he would be sad if she was gone. She looked up at him and smiled "I'd love to live with you" she said leaning over her arms shaking a little as she lent up to him and kissed his lips softly and then with more passion, he was protecting her and she knew she loved him even more as her tail curled around his arm quite excited with the moment.
 
Christian felt the moist touch of her lips press against his, felt Alices' tail curl around his arm and felt his world fall away again. His hand rested lightly on her leg as their kiss continued; he loved the feel of her skin beneath his fingers but wasn't ready to go further just yet. Finally breaking away from that little piece of heaven, he let out a sigh of relief he didn't know he had.

"I know you don't want to think about this, but we will have to make a few choices. The first one will be who's house do we live in? Yours or mine? I'd imagine you have a lot of art supplies that would be difficult to move, while half my stuff's still in boxes. And another thing: where am I going to sleep? We may be a couple, but that doesn't give me any right to half you bed this early in our relationship."
 
Alice felt him pull away an aww almost escaped her lips as she sat back in the bed her tail didn't want to uncurl just yet and she smiled as she listened to him, she did live alone for the time being, she had a guest room but she had her painting and watercolors stuff set up in there, she smiled and looked at him "Pillow blockade?" she said jokingly but the wondered if it would work, she could always by a new two new single bed and just hock her queen size or just keep it around in case she got around to getting another room added.

She smiled at him and poked his nose "Well i thought of something" she said smiling as she laid back in the bed "I'll buy a couple of single beds and when we are ready we can just push them together" she said smiling at him, it wasn't a bad idea and she could always go into the bathroom to change clothes and stuff so not really that bad.
 
Christians face went scarlet at the mention of "when we're ready." Nodding his head a little too quickly, he struggled to find something else to talk about. "Are you sure your parents won't mind? Having your new boyfriend moving in with you before they've even met him? And are you sure you can afford to buy new beds?" He asked, looking down at her laying on the hospital gurney. Alices' smile made him happy, but he knew that she must still be afraid of who ever was out there, trying to kill someone so sweet. He wondered who could be sue a thing? Who would want to harm someone so beautiful and kind?
 
Alice looked at him and smiled "Well..." her mood changed as she thought about it "I Live on my own right now" she said looking away from him as she tried to explain it "My parents didn't relly care for me since i'm different" she said looking at her tail and sighing "My sister kind of keeps in touch and stuff but she hasn't really been in contact recently so its fine" she smiled at him and hugged him. She thought about everything and wondered whether this was a twist of fate to accelerate their relationship or someone was really out to kill her. Looking up at him she kissed his lips softly and smiled "I do have some money from my artworks and i do get an allowance for living by myself" she said laying against his chest "I can afford it i'm sure of it" She said closing her eyes "When can i get out of here?" she asked a little worried about being in the hospital.
 
Her hug and light kiss caused his world to disappear like always. Her words only briefly registered with him as she held him. "Well, we can leave whenever you want. You're fully healed, so the only thing keeping you here is you. I'll pitch in what I can..." Christians' voice trailed off as he realized for the first time that he would be living on his own, and the implications that would mean for him.

"Sorry for spacing out for a second. I was just thinking. I'm afraid your clothes were cut off by the medics when they brought you here, so you'll have to wear what you have on. Should I call a taxi so you don't have to walk down the street in this?" He asked, pointing at the gown.
 
Alice looked down at her gown and blushed a little, it was quite revealing to tell the truth, the back if it got caught in the wind would easily show her rump and she didn;t really want that, she smiled and nodded at him to call a taxi for them "I guess a taxi is the only choice then" she said giving him a soft smile as she stood up slowly, her legs were a little weak but she managed by holding onto Christians shirt for a moment or two, once she got her legs to comply with her she stepped her way to the door and smiled at him.

It was an oblivious moment, she didn't notice it, when she stepped off the bed to the door she stumbled just once, which just barely flashed her rump to him, she was just lucky they at least gave her some new underwear when the put her in the room.
 
Christian face flushed red as he saw her back for a brief second. Turning his head so she wouldn't notice, he managed to stammer out "I-I-I go call tha-that taxi from the front desk." Walking up beside Alice, he placed one of his arms around her and helped walk her to the front of the hospital. At the front desk, he told the receptionist to call the cab while they sat and waited inside.

Once it showed up, Christian helped her into the back, making sure that no part of her body would be exposed to anyone that they both wouldn't want to see. Once she was settled in, Christian went around to the other side and took the seat next to her. Giving the cabbie the address to her house, making sure he remembered where it was by asking her again, he sat back and let the man do his job. "Do you have an other questions you want to ask. About me or anything else?" He asked, unsure how to proceed.
 
Alice waited at the counter with Christian smiling as she looked at the receptionist as she called the cab, it took awhile for it to get to the hospital as she waited she looked over at him and smiled, she was going to be living with her new boyfriend and she didn't care, she was actually happy about it for a strange reason, she looked at the cab pull up outside of the hospital, honking its horn as she let Christian help her to the cab and into the back seat.

Looking at the driver she smiled as she watched Christian get in the other side, as they set of after the cabbie understood where they were going she lent against Christian closing her eyes, hearing him speak she thought on it for a second and nodded slowly looking up at him as she wondered about what to ask "Well i'm still kind of thinking about the thing i saw when i was out of it, the girl floating in that room" she said looking down and sighing "I just have a feeling it means something" she said softly looking at him "But i'm sure i'm just worrying to much, but how long have you been doing what you do?" she asked steering the conversation away.
 
Christian wrapped his arm around her as she lay down on his shoulder. "Well, I found out about my...ability when I was very little. Since my parents are my legal guardians, they get to decided how I use my power, which is way I move around a lot. When people find out about what I can do, they make offers to obtain someone like me. My parents don't have to pay rent or electrical bills for the next year."

He let out a sigh before continuing. "I'm not really sure why I can do what I do, No one is. There aren't many like me. I'm the fifth in the entire world. If too many people know about me, I'll never have a moment to just be myself. Or to enjoy spending time with people I love." He face blushed deeply as he realized that one of those people was the Neko resting on him.
