Alice looked at the floor as she stood out the front of her homeroom waiting for the bell to ring, She glanced at the other students in their groups talking and having fun, She wondered why she didn't have friends and why people avoided talking to her. Hearing the bell ring and the homeroom teacher coming out of the room she looked away "Good Morning Alice" he said a mocking tone in his voice as she tried to ignore him. Entering the room with the rest of the class she went to her seat at the back of the class, Looking down as she got her notebook and watched as their teacher, Mr Hitori wrote down on the board, writing a copy of it in her book she looked down as someone sat in the chair next to her. She tried to ignore them and looked up as their teacher spoke "Ok lets review your homework".

Alice looked down for a moment she knew he was going make her answer the first problem, she didn't understand it thought, Hitori never helped her when she needed it, She wondered why he hated her so much but she stopped thinking when he called her "Alice, answer to question one please" he said looking at her with a grin on his face. Alice looked down and sighed "I don't know sir" she said looking at her knees as she felt stupid. As her mood changed a slight crack formed in her desk but she didn't notice. "Alice stay here after the bell i need to speak with you" he said as he continued getting students to answer the problems. Looking up as he asked the person next to her and sighing as he answered. Hearing the bell ring she sat still as the others left. watching Hitori come up to her she shook a little "Alice, why do you never do your homework?" he already knew the answer, looking down she sniffed "I don;t understand it" she said softly as Hitori lent on the desk "Then why do you bother coming here, if you can;t do the work your wasting my time" he said as she felt tears in her eyes the crack in the table getting a little bigger.

She didn't look at him as he mocked her, he finally left her alone after awhile "Tomorrow i hope you at least attempt the work, stupid girl", She watched the desk as her tears fell to it, He was so mean to her, she had no idea what she had done to him. Standing up and leaving her striped cat ears drooped against her head as she quietly went out of the room hoping no one had been listening as he told her off.

Christian always hated these school transfers. Being almost late for your first homeroom class made things even harder. He ended up taking the only available seat next to the Neko. Hearing the teacher call her by name raised an eyebrow, but he didn't have any time to think more about it before class started. His grades were good, never perfect but who's was?

As class ended, he gathered his stuff and prepared to leave. A quick glance back caused him to see Mr. Hitori ridicule the poor girl. Moving to the outside of the door, Christian held back. He didn't like the look of Hitori's face. Standing there, he heard their entire conversation. 'What could anyone have against such a sweet girl?' he thought as he stood there. Watching as she was finally allowed to leave, Christian saw the way her mood had taken a turn for the worse.

"Hey. Do you want to talk?" He asked softly as Alice walked out the door.

Alice looked up at the boy, tears running down her cheeks as she looked down and nodded slowly looking back at the class room as she followed him down the hall into the courtyard of the school, she showed him to a fountain and sat down with him, wiping her eyes she sniffed and looked up at him wondering why he wanted to talk. She watched the students walking around and felt her the mood getting better, She looked up at the boy and smiled a little as she looked him over a little.

Putting her hands on her knees she thought about how much she was tormented by Hitori, everyday it was the same he'd make her feel bad but she didn't know why he did. Alice looked over to the boy and smiled "Why are people so mean?" she asked not directed at anyone she just wanted to ask the question whether or not he answered she didn't worry about it to much.

"That's a hard question to answer." Chirstian said lightly. "Some people are mean because they've had hard lives. Others just seam to enjoy making others cry. It doesn't make it right. I'm sorry about what he was saying to you."

He sat there, trying to think of something more to say. "Do you want to just stay here for awhile? I don't mind, if you need a friend to talk to."

Alice looked up at him and smiled "I'd like that" she said leaning against his shoulder and closing her eyes a slight blush on her cheeks as she stayed there with the boy. "I'm Alice by the way" she said as she lent against him. Content to sit there no words spoken just the moment they were sharing as he had tried to help her feel better she felt a little happy someone finally listened to her.

She moved after a few moments and smiled as she put her hand on his "I'm glad i got to meet you" she said looking at him and her blush coming back as their eyes caught each others.

Christian felt his face flush at the touch of her head o his shoulder. He wasn't very experienced in matters of intimacy, traveling as much as he did. 'Her hair feels so soft.' He thought as she rested on him.

"Christian. But you can shorten it if you want." He replied, his face returning her blush as he realized the level of companionship his statement was meant to hold. Struggling to change the topic so as not to embarrass himself further, he decided to stand.

"I just started, and still kind of lost. I could use a guide." He said, holding his hand out for Alice to take.

Alice looked at him and nodded "Christian nice to meet you, its a lovely name" she said as she stood up with him, she nodded with excitement smiling at her new friend. She was happy much more than she thought she could ever be, she never knew how much she was missing without a friend and now she had one 'He's so cute' she thought as she took his hand in hers and led him around the school as she thought about him.

"This is the library...and this is the computer lab" she said taking him around, she pointed to the upper levels of the school "Those are the advanced classes so everyone had to pick one..i chose art" she said smiling at him and dragging him around her excitement showing just a little to much as she took him to the gym "And ast the gym, changing rooms are over their on the right side and the equipment shed is behind it...so on the left is the field where we do our track and outdoors sports" she said smiling at him and leading him to a tree near the edge of the field "this is where i come to think as well" she said leaning against the tree as she sat down and smiled at him. brushing her hair from her eyes she looked up at him blushing slightly as she did.

Christian's face flushed red when Alice said that is name was lovely. He felt the warmth of his hand as she lead him around. 'She seams really nice.' He thought as the tour continued along.

"Art huh. Your lucky. I don't have any talent in that department." He said with a half laugh as they went out side. He watched as she brushed the strains of hair away from her face, letting him see how beautiful her eyes were. "You seem a lot happier now. I'm glad. Tears don't suit you." The second after he spoke his scarlet face returned. "Uh...can I take that back? No what. I don't want to do that. What I mean is..." He started to stammer, unsure what Alices' reaction to his words would be.

Alice looked up at him, he was really nice to her, she felt a lot better, looking at him she blushed deeply as he spoke and looked down "Y..Your so nice" she said as she stood up and in a reaction wrapped her arms around him ignoring his awkwardness and hugged him tightly. She thought as she did 'He's the first person to be nice to me' and closed her eyes happy in the moment they were sharing. Looking up at him her blush glowing on her cheeks as her kitten ears twitched and her tail began to sway as she pulled away. The quiet moment was then interrupted as the bell rang, the piercing siren breaking the two as she jumped and snapped out of her bubble of happiness "O..Oh i'll see you after class" she said smiling as she ran off towards the art room upstairs.

She sat in her class mindlessly scribbling as her thoughts drifted back to him "Do...Do I like him?' she thought as she looked at the assorted lines her unwatched hands were making. She didn't care much though she'd done her big projects for the semester at home already and just had to hand them in, her classes much more of a cooldown time for her than a class she needed to pass.

Her strong display of affection snapped Christian out of his stammer. He found his arms lightly resting on Alices' back, as if guided there by an outside force. He found his heart skip a beat as she broke away from him. He watched as she ran off, noticing the vast improvement in her in such a short period. The light ring of his cell phone kept in his pocket destroyed any further thinking.

"Hello? What?! It's my first day of class! Okay, fine! What time? No, that's okay, I'll walk." He let out a long sigh. Work right after class is over. At least I'll be able to see her again. Maybe she'll let me walk her home. He thought as he headed towards his next class, the thought of seeing Alice again brightening the rest of his day.

Alice sat in class, her mind still thinking over the boy she met, wondering if she should ask him on a date for the weekend 'is it wrong for a girl to ask a boy out?' she thought as she heard the bell ring and her thoughts interrupted as she left. She smiled brightly as she left the classroom, school was done and she got to go home, she heard her phone vibrate in her bag and smiled picking it out and looking at the message, groaning she deleted it another apparent special deal was going on with her service. She grumbled as she held her phone and walked to the front gate a little annoyed at the wasted surprise.

She stood at the gate swaying as she fixed her uniform slowly waiting for Christian to come so she could ask him, she blushed deeply at the thought hiding her face as she waited, she saw him coming out of his class and her heart beat a little faster, she was going to be discrete not ask directly just ask if he wanted to see a movie or go shopping with her on the weekend. She looked down and smiled a she approached and she walked up to him, today was a good day she thought as she smiled "Hihi Christian!" she said putting her arm around his and walking with him "So i was wondering..." she paused a little nervous "Would you like to go shopping with me on saturday?" she blurted out and blushing deeply.

Christian saw her standing at the front gate, waiting for him. He watched the way her tail moved in time with her body, saw how cute the uniform she wore really was on her body. When she took hold of his arm, it was impossible for him not to return her blush with one of his own. Alices' question floored him, causing his entire face to go red for a second. 'She wants to go out with me? This attractive girl was to go shopping with me by her side?' He thought as they started walking down the sidewalk.

"W-Well...I guess I could. I-If you really want me too. I can't spend all day out tho. I kind of have this part-time job at the hospital." He replied. 'Why am I telling her that? I'm suppose to keep it a secret.' He thought after speaking.

Alice looked up at him, smiling as he said yes in a stutter, she smiled as they walked down the road to her house "Well, i'll meet you at the comic store near the first city station" she said smiling as they got to her gate she opened it and waved watching him walk away she remembered something, running after him she smiled taking his hand and a pen from her bag, looking up at him she smiled the pen cap held in her teeth as she wrote her phone number on his hand "Call me ok" she said smiling and hugging him as she ran back to her house.

She lent against the door blushing deeply "I have a date..." she muttered smiling "I have a date!!" shouting as she danced her way to her room, planning her outfit for the weekend and getting her going out money ready. She finished her evening thinking of him happy thoughts fluttering through her mind as she did her chores and headed up to bed. She couldn't wait to see him again happier than she had every been.

Christains' heart could have burst threw his chest right at this moment. "I've got a girls number..." He said lightly as he started walking away from Alices' house. He would be smiling if his mind wasn't still reeling from the fact. HIs happy moment was shot as his phone began ringing again. Snapping out of his little day dream, he read the text message that awaited him.

Signing, he proceeded to get on with the rest of his evening. It wasn't that he hated his job. He just hated that it kept him so busy. Still, he had to admit, today was turning out pretty good so far.

Alice opened her bedroom door happy, looking around the room she smiled as she set an alarm for tomorrow, sitting at her desk she thought a bit and opened her phone putting a note next to his number, 'call for emergency's' in case she got into trouble. She looked at the clock and smiled taking off her school uniform staring at herself in the mirror as she stood in her underwear. Blushing a bit she climbed into bed slowly looking at the ceiling a bit as she sent him a quick text 'Goodnight Christian!!!!!' attaching a photo of her waving to him to the message and sending it to him, she breathed a sigh of relief thinking she took the picture showing something but she was cuddled up in the blankets fine. Putting her phone on charge she turned off her lamp and smiled falling asleep thinking of him.

Waking up yawning her phone having a heart attack next to her as the alarm went off, rolling over she looked at it and screamed as she rushed out of bed, she was a bit over excited she planned to get ready at 8...it was 8:01. She quickly went to the planned clothes and blinked at them, pulling everything out of her closet and sitting down looking at them. By time she made it out the door she had tried on 8 different sets, one didn't match her shoes, another her eyes, she was a little nervous and wanted to be perfect. She decided on her summer top a nice white strapped shirt with frills on the top of the chest and on the straps, her skirt was a faded black with a pleated under layer with black frills for a trim. She decided on white knee high socks and her school shoes. The rest of the morning she was doing her hair, brushing and tying the blue ribbons in it carefully. putting the red bracelets on her left wrist she nodded at herself and ran to the train station.

She was in the city a little early she was sure he was on the next train so she bought herself an ice cream to nibble on while she waited. Sitting on a train bench waiting for him he smiled as he arrived, standing up and waiting for him to push through the crowd she took a bite of her ice cream and smiled using the spoon she'd been given and putting some on it offering it to him smiling a slight blush on her cheeks 'he actually came' she thought as she smiled "Good morning!" she said with a grin as she stood their offering the spoonful of mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Christian rubbed his eyes a little before catching up to Alice. It had been a late night for him, as usual. Seeing her standing there, however, did more for him than a whole pot of coffee ever could. He took the offered scoop of dessert, letting it slid down his throat. "Tasty." He said, his eyes staying focused on her as he spoke.

He had decided to go with a casual dress look for their date. Clean, white long sleeve polo shirt, left unbuttoned at the top and minus a tie. Black dress pants that flowed nicely with a breeze. His shoes also were black, and shined, encase they went anywhere more formal. His hair was combed, but still a little damp from showering so soon before arriving.

"So where to first? I haven't had a chance to come up here yet." He said, scratching the back of his head.

Alice smiled at him and took his hand, wrapping her fingers in between his and walking him up the stairs to the main street "I thought we'd go get a drink or something first, how about a coffee or a hot chocolate?" she said, passing a vending machine she ignored it, she wanted to buy him a fresh hand made drink not a hot can version. Walking inside a small cafe a waitress came to them as they sat down "What can i get you?" she asked smiling, Alice looked at her "I'll have a hot chocolate with two marshmallows" she said smiling, the waitress took Christians drink smiling "You guys are a cute couple" she said as she left.

Alice blushed deeply, it was their first date and she didn't expect that, playing with the frill on her blouse she smiled at him "So what do you do at the hospital?" she asked trying to steer the conversation away from the waitress's comment before she got to embarrassed by it.

He let himself be lead by the young Neko, enjoying the feel of her hand wrapped in his. "I'll have the same." Christian said to the waitress as Alice placed her order once they were seated. He swallowed hard at the comment of them being a couple. Alices question, however, quickly changed the gears in his mind.

"It...involves helping people. I guess that's kind of self explanatory, seeing as that what hospitals are for. I'm there to provide comfort and ease pain. Again, that's normal for a hospital." His mind raced with a good answer with out revealing the truth. "I'm not a doctor, or a nurse, but I do help them when needed. I'm kept pretty busy. What about you? Do you have a job?" He asked, trying to steer the conversation away from him and back towards Alice.

Alice looked at him a little surprised, she looked at him smiling as their drinks were brought out and her tail started swaying happily as she took a sip. Looking into her cup she sighed "I'm unemployed actually, i have to focus on my work for school but i do run a sort of internet art shop" she said getting her phone and typing in the address. Showing him she smiled "Its really popular but i haven;t done many commissions for awhile i never draw well when im in a bad mood" she said looking at him and sipping her drink.

She sighed thinking of her little art store, wondering when the last time she actually took an order was, she looked at him and smiled "I'll probably get around to one tonight or something if i have time" she said as she ate a marshmallow slowly. Thinking about him she smiled and blushed a little he was cuter in his casual clothes and she like it, she thought of her feelings for him and smiled "I really like you him..." she said, realizing what she said she blushed deeply and looked down 'i..i just said that, i;m such an idiot" her cheeks glowing a bright red.

Christian face matched hers in bright red. "No! No. Your just honest. I like you too. I'm just surprised that you would be interested in a normal guy like me." He said while thinking 'Not normal. Not in the least.' Looking for a way to have her continue talking, he fell back on her art.

"So you said that your like to do art? What kinds?" He asked, lightly sipping on his coco.

Eclair looked up at him and smiled as she took a napkin and a pen, drawing a quick chibi, to her quick was pretty detailed, she smiled and put her signature and handed the napkin to him her blush lingering a she smiled "Usually anime style but i do chibi's when i can" she said smiling as she looked at him "I've had a few writers ask me to illustrate a manga for their books but i don;t have the time" she said thinking about it.

She smiled as they stood up and left the cafe, she tried to cram as much as she could in before he had to go so she smiled, "Wanna catch a movie?" she asked as she walked towards the cinema smiling as she held his hand again getting a few looks from passing girls and guys. "You pick hehe" she said poking his nose giggling as she led him inside.

Christian lightly took the offered gift. "Th-thank you." He said as he carefully folding it and gently placing it in his pocket. "It's really great that you have such a gift. I'm just not artistically inclined." He added as he finished of the cup in front of him.

"Hmm. My choice huh? Well, since you like art, what about that new Leonardo DiCaprio one: Inception? I hear it's kind of trippy at points but it's stunning to watch." He said as Alice lead him along. "Do you want anything to drink? Maybe some popcorn?" He added, making his way over to the concession stand.

Alice looked at him, she wasn;t really interested in the movie but she was interested in being with him for a long time, she smiled and nodded "Maybe a lemonade and hmm shall we share a large popcorn i never finish mine" she said smiling as she looked over the chocolate and sweets. Smiling she bought herself some strawberry pocky and a few pieces of chocolate getting him a box of chocolate pocky since most guys acted all manly and said strawberry flavored was girly.

She smiled as she walked with him into the cinema the dark room concealing her deep blush as they made their way to the furthest seats, she smiled and sat down next to him and put her feet up leaning against his shoulder "i hope this is good" she said nibbling on one of her pocky sticks.

(OCC: I like the strawberry Pocky more myself. lol)

Christian nodded at her request and went to order. "One large coke, a lemonade and a large popcorn with butter please." He told the attendant behind the counter. The food ended up costing more than their two tickets, as usual for a movie theater, but Christian had the cash on hand. Going out on a date without money to splurge would be a disaster.

He looked over and then down as Alice lay her head on his shoulder, his heart beating so hard it could burst though his chest. Unsure how she would react, he slowly placed his arm around her before taking a bite of the snack she had bought him.

((But chocolate is more manly, a guy friend i bought strawberry for yelled at me saying it was girly =P))

Alice smiled and watched the movie with him, it was interesting but she wasn't really paying attention to the movie after awhile, she had sneakily pushed the seat divider up and slowly made her way to laying in his lap, the perk of the furthest seats was she could still see. She didn't say much beside passing him a piece of chocolate when he asked the sounds from her the slight crack of the pocky she was chewing on.

She was enjoying herself to much being there with him, the movie got boring after awhile the plot started to thin out as she figured it out before the finish, she closed her eyes for a moment before falling asleep in his lap, a stick of her pocky still in her mouth as her tail laid against his arm.
