Yukimura sat up when the food was brought in and served to the both of them, each being poured a glass of wine to go with the steak and scalloped potatoes. He thanked the servant, rather excited about trying the food, even if it had no taste for him.
She laughed softly as she watched him, eating her food slowly. The ribeyes were massive and think, practically glittering from the presentation; even the potatoes and steamed asparagus looked wonderful. Akihime's was a little more red on the inside than Yukimura's was, making a soft content noise as she ate before reaching for her wine.
Yukimura cut into his steak and took a bite- as expected he tasted nothing, but the texture of the meet was still good, and it was piping hot. It was good, not tough or dry like other foods he had had, enjoying how juicy it was. “I don’t think I’ve ever had meat this tender before.”
“It’s good, I’m sure it tastes even better, but it feels good.” He said, washing down his bite with some wine. He couldn’t taste much of that either, but it had a similar mouth feel as juice.
She was surprised to see him not even wince, the gin and whiskey always made him flinch a little she saw, but the wine did nothing.
"That makes me happy.."
She laughed, pressing into him to contain herself before settling, "Yukimura, I'm barely buzzed and you're swaying in your seat~ I think I won, sweetheart~"
