Sold By My Family (Guardian Angel and Lunarwolf)

Calla made it to the training grounds and just looked around a bit, not even bothered by some of the men and their whispers.

Adrian walked over and greeted her " welcome you will be getting tested by one of my lead knights and they will place you where you are skill wise and then you will learn from there"

Calla was just giving a bow to the guard and was taking up one of the practice swords. It was evident that she knew what she was doing at least the basics and she was pretty confident with her strikes - but she needed to learn more. And it was very evident that strength was her weakness but she made up for that in her speed.

the male spared with her for the entire time to see what her stamina was like so that hse coudl tell id they needed to work on that as well

Calla had pretty decent stamina for being a female and she was pretty good at getting back up when being hit. Although after a while she was having to back down, more so after avoiding to block a blow to the chest that just resulted in her getting severely winded.

the male stopped the spar at that point and then walked over to her "you have a lot to lear but I think we can get you up to par"

Calla was just working on catching her breath for a moment before she was mumbling, "And I thought my father hit hard when sparring with him."

Calla was taking the towel from him before she spoke, "I feel proud of myself for being able to take so many painful hits without just staying down." With that she was heading off.

A few weeks on had gone past and the king was sending out an invitation to everybody to come and attend the ball that he was hosting, much to the demise of Ianite. Over the last few weeks she had been improving health wise although ended up making a downward spiral, and ended up with a rather severe fever the night before the ball. One that had been a little more stressed induced than anything - she had pushed herself a little harder than intended with studying. Not that she had tried to do that, and was currently just asleep in bed still despite them having to be heading out in a few hours. Kelly was speaking with Adrian and stating that she would go and wake her up, help her get ready. "I would go for a few hours then try and leave as quickly as possible."

Adrian nodded his head "We will go for a bit and then leave I don't want her out for too long I would send a letter stating her health as the reason for us not going but one simply doesn't risk angering the king" Adrian knew they couldn't get out of this one as they had with the wedding plans but he hoped that she would be able to make it for a little bit.

Kelly was nodding before she spoke, "Lady Ianite did wake up briefly for a bit earlier and was upset with herself, and ended up crying herself to sleep.... afraid that you were upset with her as well."

"I will assure her I am not upset with her when I see her next" Adrian wasn't upset with her at all as she had been trying to learn how to be a nobel

Kelly was nodding her head before she spoke, "The doctor even reassured her that it was nothing she did. Her body had just already been weakened and she had just over stressed it without realizing it."

Kelly was giving a curtsy before she was heading out so that she could help Ianite get ready. She was trying to dress her in as light of clothing as she could, although that was easier said than done with the expectations for the future duchess. Yet after a moment in time Kelly was deciding to say screw it and decided to go with a more simple white and pink dress - still elegant and sophisticated. But it would be something that she would be a little more comfortable in, especially feeling as ill as she did. And luckily Kelly knew that Adrian wasn't going to get upset about the decision that she had made - since it was for her health and comfort.

Adrian headed to his own room and got dressed with the help of one of the butlers. Adrian went with all black as it would suit anything Ianite wore to the ball and it wouldn't stand out that much either.

It wasn't long before Kelly was heading downstairs with Ianite and was just looking towards Adrian as he came down. The dress was definitely not the one that he had picked out for her to wear at all - but the other one had been quite poofy and added a bit of extra weight that wasn't needed at that point in time.

Adrian looked at the dress and then nodded had Ianite been feeling find he would have been upset but knowing that she wasn't feeling well had him leaving the change of dress alone

Ianite was just looking at him for a brief moment in time before she was giving him a soft apology, and Kelly was just rubbing her arm gently. "I... don't mean to be... such a burden...." Ianite spoke in a soft voice. Kelly was just looking at Adrian before she was speaking in a soft voice, "Her temp hasn't dropped from 102 but it hasn't risen at all either. The doctor did just give her some fever reducers to hopefully help some at the ball. He says that if she needs to dance - that it be one dance. It would be best to just let her rest and encourage water consumption. Umm... He also added that if the king gives you problems to let him know..."
