Dreams and Nightmares

It had been years since they had all spent the summer together. They had all met in high school, and had clicked instantly. But unfortunately, as they grew up, their lives took on different paths, and it ended up being hard for them to reunite once more. But this year, they had succeeded in finding an old abandoned manor in the middle of the woods and renting it for the summer. They had cleared up their schedule, and agreed to meet there and spend the summer together, like they used to do when they were younger. The manor had come cheap, and it was surprisingly not too bad. Sure it was old, a little dusty, but it was huge, and there was a lake nearby if they ever wanted to swim. What they didn't know is that this place wasn't normal. Their summer would turn into a tale of romance, mystery, thrill and even horror, as they slowly realized that the manor was actually haunted, that a strange beast roamed outside in the forest, and that the history of this place was actually doused in the supernatural...
So yeah, it's a pretty short idea, but there is so much we could expand upon, and I generally just love the idea of roleplaying a group of friends. The ideal number would be 6 friends, although more can be possible if we really want to. Of course, I want to include romance, maybe even drama between the friends, as they rekindle old flames and friendships, only as adults now. I also just always really wanted to do a roleplay with a kind of...scooby doo vibe in a way, or Gravity Falls. Just something that includes monsters and ghosts, but isn't actually focused on them having to survive, but rather discovering the mysteries of this place together.
A FEW RULES:
Please be at least literate. I do not care for length, and I strongly believe in quality over quantity, so don't feel pressured to write more than you usually do. If we roleplay smut, do keep in mind that I usually roleplays as SUBMISSIVE characters, which are also usually males. Now for this roleplay, since there are multiple characters, I am willing to play as a switch or two. I'd rather this roleplay be long term. I only roleplay third person, I do not particularly care if you roleplay in 1st person. If you've read all of this and still want to roleplay, I appreciate your time and attention, shoot me a DM and I would be glad to discuss this further together.
