Eryn too had thought about sleeping arrangements when it had become apparent that they did not have enough rooms (such as they were) and had shuffled things around in their head and had also come up with the idea of using the beds in the car. Reluctantly they had thought that this was probably the best solution even though it would almost certainly mean that their chances of being intimate with Robin that night diminished significantly. They had not expected Alys to accept any other sleeping arrangement than with them and was pleasantly surprised when Alys herself suggested that they could sleep in the car with Robin.
"You're sure," Eryn asked Alys and pinched Robin back.
Alys had not slept alone, had not slept beside anyone other than them, since the world as they had known it went to hell. And Eryn had accepted it even on those rare occasions when they had found a romantic interest, or at least someone they wanted to be intimate with, even if only to scratch the itch.
They glanced over at Dean and then back at their sister with a nod, suspecting now that he had something to do with Alys sudden willingness to sleep alone, or at least make it seem as if she was sleeping alone. Eryn smiled at their sister more or less convinced that the only one that would be sleeping alone would be Katie.
When it was clear that Alys was sure about the suggested sleeping arrangements Eryn turned their attention back to Robin again, even less subtly than before now letting her fingers wander up and down her thigh, drawing ever higher up with each turn until they could pull softly on Robin's pubes had they wanted to. Remembering their previous bath together, when the river had barely calmed down, they didn't though but simply signalled availability and left the initiative to Robin.

Dean had blushed even harder at Katie's advice but he had nodded and tried not to stare at all the feminin grace that surrounded him on all sides, mostly though his attention was of course drawn to Alys, that awkward young woman who had caught his interest with her knowledge of farming on a small scale and her cute shyness behind which she was obviously attempting (and failing miserably) to hide her interest in him as more than a farm hand and advisor on such matters.
Of course it didn't help much that he himself was just as awkward and shy. He had never really had a steady girlfriend, not like his brother who had been engaged to be married before everything changed. It was of course not from lack of interest he had little experience with dating or romantic relationships but rather not really knowing how to tell a girl that he liked them without blushing like a virgin bride on her wedding night. It was no better should a girl approach him. In fact it was almost worse.
He was not entirely inexperienced though. He had been on dates, even second and third dates. He was certainly not a virgin even though he had only had a total of four sexual partners, three with whom he had only slept once or twice. The fourth was a girl he had known in college with whom he had had a relationship that had lasted for just over six months. He still was not sure why it had ended other than them living at different ends of the country and had not met after the end of the first year when she had transferred to Princeton and despite attempting a long distance relationship they had talked more seldom and then the emails and text messages had dwindled too until finally she had called him up and said that it was perhaps best for them both to call their relationship over. And that had been that.
That had been almost two years ago and if he was honest Dean had almost given up on dating. He always seemed to manage to screw it up somehow. Then Yellowstone happened and there was little to no time to even think about dating for a long while. But then Alys had walked onto his parents farm and suddenly he had felt alive in a way he had not felt before.

Katie nodded to confirm that Robin was certainly not one to make speeches or even talk much unless it was absolutely necessary. She had always been a recluse and a loner and for a long time Katie had not even been entirely sure whether she was part of the camp at Houck or just hanging around with the good will of Martin and Allie. She had always refused to move out of her own little camp and into the buildings. She did contribute though when Martin and the rest went out scavenging and it certainly helped a lot that she was handy with all manner of weapons, of which she had a few. Her survivalist skills also came in handy. And whether it had been obvious to anyone at all Katie had always believed in her. If there was one person whom she would follow through the apocalypse it was Robin.
And now, with Eryn and Alys arrival at Houck, she was even prepared to part with Camp Houck, even it wa still within walking distance from what had for so long been known as Robin's Folly (a name Katie still liked even if it was no loner a folly). She could barely wait to see the faces of Martin and Allie once they got things really up and running in the gravel pit. Even in just a day Eryn and Robin had achieved enough to impress.
Katie also knew that Robin was not one to show wear her emotions on her sleeve and thus was both surprised and impressed by the speech Robin made, which seemed mostly directed at Alys but also seemed to be about the group and how much closer they had together brought her plans to becoming a reality. It was also obvious to Katie that the tough as welded nuts and bolts survivalist loner was in love, or at least in the process of falling in love.

When Robin stopped talking Eryn took her hand above the water and leaned in for a kiss and to suggest in a whisper that it was getting late an they had worked hard. Perhaps it would be a good idea to withdraw to the car. With their other hand they pinched Robin's thigh suggestively high up on the inside.
Once more, as they stood up and was about to get out of the pool they looked at Alys and nodded at her as if to give her one last chance to change her mind about the sleeping arrangements and then as Alys nodded bak to confirm they took Robin by the hand, gathered up their clothes and headed for the car and what they hoped would be a night to remember, a start of something that would last beyond the morning after.
