Regarding male/male, I'm really only talking about the gender of the characters. If you want a character to be a transguy or a genderqueer male, female, intersex person, go right ahead. Likewise, if you got a transwoman, while we can call her biological sex 'male' I'm probably not going to wanna RP opposite her. Yeah?

Yes, I'm still looking though I'm very slow what with being in midterms season and I don't care about your genitals at all. :] You just tell me what pronoun you want me to use in reference to you and I'm happy.

I'm cool with the slowness. Your ejumakashun's gotta come first, yeah? I reply quickly, but you shouldn't interpret that as me rushing you.

Anyway, the only fandom we have in common is BBC's Merlin, though during my initial research I spotted a thread you've already got going. So, if you'd like to do one maybe playing a different character or going a different direction to add variety, that's good. If not, that's all right, too. We've got an original genre in common, as well, and that's modern fantasy.

Thoughts so far?

I don't mind playing the same thing multiple ways: I've got a modern fantasy going on as well.

I lean more to fandoms normally, but I'm easily convinced out of them if you've got a strong desire. You've already got the folks I play in Merlin, for fantasy, I'm fond of shamans in urban areas or even necromancers.
