Hello!
I'm seeking a writing partner who would be interested in portraying Solid Snake as a potential love interest to my Samus Aran in a crossover, whether in a long-term, plot-driven roleplay or shorter, one-shot type scenarios, via PM. I might also be open to a purely Metroid roleplay with other canon characters, such as Adam or any of the more alien characters like Rundas, but no OCs.
I have over 20 years of writing and roleplaying experience, though I haven't been writing as often in recent years and may be a little rusty. I write in third person descriptive format (multi-para to novella), and while I love detail, character introspection and development, and a slower pace overall, I get a little overwhelmed by pages worth of text (1000+ words, for instance), so there's no pressure to write extensive replies or match length. I'm a slow writer, posting multiple times a week at most, so I'm not looking for anything rapid-fire.
I'm prepared to write in a few side characters of either gender as necessary, but doubling isn't something I can reliably commit to.
I don't have any plots for this pairing currently, only a few potential scenarios, though I would love to integrate Samus into the Metal Gear world somehow. This is first and foremost an interest check, but some tropes I really enjoy are enemies to allies/friends/lovers, power dynamics, and of course slow burns. I would love to discuss plot ideas with potential partners to create something that we will both find enjoyment in. I should also note that my only exposure to the Metal Gear series so far is through Super Smash Bros, MGS1 and MGS2, but I've made it my goal to play through the series over the coming weeks. I'm willing to learn as much as I can and will gladly trade lore with anyone less familiar with Metroid.
Finally, I'm primarily looking for something story driven. Smut is of course very much welcome, but I personally have little interest in a plot built solely around, or for the sake of, fulfilling kinks. Please do let me know if you have any preferences or requests, however.
