Fact: I've had this damn song stuck in my head for the past who knows how many days.
It just refuses to go away, no matter how much I listen or sing it.

In the children's book by Dr. Seuss, "Green Eggs and Ham", the main narrator spends the whole book telling the annoying Sam-I-Am that he does not like green eggs and ham, and refuses to eat them in a variety of situations (in a box, with a fox, in the rain, on a train, on a boat, with a goat, etc.). Finally, the narrator tries them, and discovered he LOVES green eggs and ham, and will eat them everywhere Sam-I-Am suggested, and more besides. It's a parable about being willing to try new things because you never know when you'll discover something really really good.

You were very doubtful about Slumdog last night, and I was suggesting you keep an open mind, because, just like with green eggs and ham, it might turn out you really liked it. Which it did.

Once again, Dr. Seuss predicts the future.
