Time Masters (Grave x Wiki)

After the two finished breakfast, Ken took Rin down the street to the Cafe Nipponica. It was a Japanese themed coffee shop that specialized in cute cat ear coffee cups and other things. Ken ordered his coffee and playfully put a pair of cat ears on Rin's head.

"It suits you. You look cute like that."

Ken smiled and took a sip of his coffee.
 
She didn’t notice though as she drank her milk tea, looking over a bit confused. “ the hell…” she would say feeling something now on her head before throwing at him. “ and now shut up.” With only a slight blush rolling her eyes.
 
Ken laughed and dodged as Rin threw the cat ears at him.

"Hey, now!"

He smiled as she blushed and rolled her eyes.

"You really did look cute like that. You should have kept them on."

He sipped his coffee.
 
she just looked and ignored that, having her drink. Looks like they could relax then, not seeing anything interesting to predict with her time now but seeing what they had for some food already being hungry.
 
After finishing his coffee, Ken stood up.

"Well, that was really good. I hope you liked yours, too."

He turned to Rin.

"Anything else you want to do?"

He was free the whole day, so he had time to do anything that he wanted.
 
“ don’t really have anything besides my smoke.” Seeing she wasn’t really planning anything than being dragged out by him to do something as they waited.
 
Unknown to both Ken and Rin, the Tournament of the Wish was close to getting started. Alex and Ezio weren't the only superpowered rivals that they would have to worry about. Contestants were flying into Tokyo from all over the world. Once everyone had arrived, the tournament would begin in earnest. Once that happened, the entire city would become a battlefield. After all, the winner of the tournament got one wish for whatever they wanted.

While they were hanging out, the contestants arrived. All of them arrived that day, and so the tournament was slated to begin after an hour. While Ken and Rin did common diversions, the hour passed. The Tournament of the Wish had begun. In no time, battles broke out all over the city. A storefront explorer near Ken and Rin, throwing them backwards.
 
“ FUCKING HELL…” she would yell feeling the force but luckily it wasn’t so bad, “ bring out the king crimson.” Standing as her body had a red aura before being sucked out into another form behind but the aura coming back again. She would take it out of her pocket to smoke, seeing if there was something then she could throw.
 
A muscular young man in black jeans and a tank top raced through the flames so fast that it seemed like he was flying. His arms were on fire and he was swinging punches at both Ken and Rin. Ken got clocked in the jaw and went stumbling back. The other fists smashed into King Crimson. Blasts of fire were burning so hot that it almost went around him to get to Rin. Pillars of fire also began erupting around the immediate area, forcing both Ken and Rin into a close quarters battle.
 
“ generic buff flame boy.” Seeing she would make the joke anyway even if she was basic herself just using punches and kicks and having strength. “ then let’s see about this.” Punching the ground to make a big pile of rumble and punching the pieces at him like big bullets to force him to stay in place and burn them or do nothing but dodge letting her either time stop and move in behind if he didn’t move or use her time stop and prediction to see where he would go to dodge so she could move in with a fist through his chest from behind.
 
The fire user used his flames to warp away from the rocks. He then tackled Rin from behind, taking her to the ground with an expert MMA takedown. Ken rushed forward and two-legged dropkicked him off of Rin. The fire user rolled and fired a sustained gout of fire at him. Ken stopped time when the fire was only an inch from his face.

"Rin, take him down with King Crimson!"
 
she would move up then with a sway waiting for the time to move again as she would move its hand to his face to lift him up before giving a strong punch to the face to send him back against the building.
 
After the fire user slammed into the building, Ken restarted time. The man slumped against the wall and was unconscious. However, no sooner were they breathing a sigh of relief when Ken was frozen solid by a female ice user. The ice user turned out to be a blonde young woman, who turned her freezing rays on King Crimson. Having seen what happened to the fire user, she was taking no chances. She had a wish that she wanted granted very badly.
 
She would move away, “ I guess it’s my turn, king crimson!!” The world breaking into pieces as everything freezes, seeing into the future of the girl trying to freeze as she moves to get behind the girl, “ of course it’s fire and ice.” Rolling her eyes sending a kick to her back and getting her crashing into it too.
 
The ice user took the kick but rolled forward as she hit the ground. Turning around, she conjured a blizzard that obscured her from view. The blizzard completely engulfed Rin, the temperatures dropping steadily. It would go all the way down to sub-zero temperatures. The ice user also fired a freezing beam directly into Rin. If she didn't do something soon, she would be frozen solid.
 
“ come on your being predictable seeing that there was no way she could be close and only try freezing at range as uses her time skip again, the beam going through her but also moving out of it. Rin was a bit a slower for anything for a moment though, now having to wait another ten seconds to use anything as jumps up and and down to close in for a double arm slam on top of her.
 
The ice user rolled out of the way. She put her hand to the ground and icicles began shooting up around Rin. She directed her into another blast of freezing ice. Although Rin was fast, the ice was slowing her down. It would soon sap her energy if she didn't escape quickly. The ice user was patient and tactical, working to wear her down.
 
She would quickly break the ice and jump up, climbing up to the roof and using the stop before she actually stands as she dives down and gets close to slam down on but also use the smoke and impact to hide and get cover as she hides again to wait for the time.
 
The Ice Master dodges the attack and touches the ground. Ice spreads all over the ground, making it hard to get solid footing. She also increases the freezing mist to hide her from view. She has deduced that making herself impossible to see will make her opponent's powers harder to use.

She would move to get above then, “ because obviously I need to see to use it.” Rolling eyes as does have the power back again and it was just waiting for her to start an attack so she could remove the time for it.
 
The freezing mist would fill the area and completely engulf Rin. It was like all of a sudden being locked inside of an industrial freezer. The temperature steadily declined around her. The young girl would feel her energy leaving her. No attack was necessary. If Rin didn't find the Ice Master quickly, she would pass out from the extreme, inescapable cold.
 
She would take a breath, “ but can you freeze time….king crimson.” Now being on a rooftop as a head would be on her own forehead to try to see the fog that was under her but also see anything coming before seeing just a bit of something in the fog from what she was wearing and jumping down for it to skip the time and be already close to attack.
