SAINTS (1x1 w/DarkMukip)

She leaned up to kiss him on the cheek, taking his hand and squeezing it, soon arriving to Masamune’s hunting grounds. “Shall we split up this time, maybe make a game of who can score a better meal~?” Megohime did have a bad habit of playing with her food.

“Then you better start getting in the habit of taking pictures of your food before you dig in~” She chided, waving her own phone in the air before turning. “Don’t be a sore loser when I win, ok~?”

“Time starts now~” Megohime let out a light-hearted laugh before she disappeared into the shadows, heart racing as she sniffed out a suitable meal.

Motochika had been wandering about, not wanting to murder a human to feed Nana, but a ghoul would be fine. Ghouls ate ghouls, didn't they? He wasn't super confident, and didn't get the chance to really ask Nana before he left, but the less time she spent outside the less likely those Aogiri guys would find her.

A man in a suit ran by the alleyway not too far ahead of Motochika, holding his shoulder and gasping in a panic. Just after he disappeared out of sight, a woman came into view, giving chase and not far behind. The glow from her Kagune illuminated her face enough to see a gleeful grin on her face before she too disappeared. This ghoul was small and alone, and she hadn’t seemed to notice Motochika at all, too focused on the prey before her.

She was fast, already having closed in on the man and pounced on him like a cat on a mouse. Her tail swayed above her as she looked for an optimal place to pierce him, his screams muffled from being pinned face first into the ground. Megohime barely registered the footsteps behind her, but once she caught his scent, she whipped her head around to glare at the source, her grip tightening dangerously around the back of his neck.

"Let him go." Motochika said calmly, brandishing his stolen quinque. He knew Nana didn't like that he still had it, but it would give him a fighting chance in order to bring her something to eat.

Megohime’s mismatched eyes stared intently at Motochika, looking him over before meeting his gaze. “You some kinda undercover agent?” The struggling man beneath her fought in vain, despite being bigger than her, she overpowered him. She tilted her head slightly, the veins around her eye spreading as she glared at him over the rims over her glasses. “Fuck off and die, scum.”

What was up with her eye? Why was only one eye off color? Was she a hybrid? Could ghouls and humans have offspring like that?
"I won't ask you again." Motochika stated firmly.

She didn’t look pleased being bossed around by some stranger, a soft scowl set on her face. “Sure.” She moved her knee off his back and released his neck, the man scrambling to his feet and running as hard as he could. He only made it four steps before he crashed to the ground, a hole in the side of his head and blood pooling beneath him. “Anything else?”

“You’ll have to be a little more precise then!” She evaded him easily, her tail quick as a whip as she jabbed at him. The tip of her tail punctured his leg forearm and shoulder, but only went in one or two inches, not enough to kill him right away. She grinned, drawing her Kagune back to herself to taste the blood on the end, finding that he tasted even better than the man before. It was decided then, she would make this giant of a man her meal for the night.

Megohime narrowly avoid his blows, surprised to find he actually had some sizable strength behind them. Making a soft noise, she retreated back until they were under a street light wanting to avoid being hit by him after all, then she struck. She darted forward, barely evading another of his heavy attacks and wrapping her kagune around his neck tightly. Kicking off of him, she leapt up and over the street light, yanking Motochika off his feet and into the air. She dropped down to the ground as Motochika was pulled up, scowling at the cut in the elbow of her blouse, sucking her teeth in anger.

Motochika choked loudly as he hung from her kagune. He refused to let go of his quinque, though it did almost slip out of his grasp. He lifted it up, glaring down at her as he poised it over her kagune.

She tightened her kagune around his neck, trying to cut off his blood flow and airways. “You’re not an investigator, yet you have that somehow- buy it illegal?” She mused to herself aloud, glaring back at him.

"F...Fucking...bi..." Motochika could barely manage to speak, his face turning red.
"Megohime," Masamune was watching from an alley entrance, leaning against the wall, "haven't I taught you not to play with your food?"

Megohime’s shoulders stiffened at Masamune’s stern tone, immediately releasing Motochika and letting him fall to the ground, turning to face him. “Masamune, I..” She knew better than to lie, swallowing the lump in her throat and looking away. “Sorry..”

Motochika hit the ground hard, wheezing and coughing hard as he regulated his breathing. Masamune moved over, staring at Motochika before his gaze turned to Megohime. He held up a femur bone, grinning widely.
"I win~"

“What? No way! Look at the size of this guy, I totally win!” She argued back, pointing to Motochika indignantly, rather proud to have snagged such a large meal.

"But he's still alive~ mine isn't~" He said.
"You..." Motochika wheezed, and Masamune looked to him, "you're the one...who beat Nana..."
"Who?" Masamune asked, "Did I snack on your girlfriend or something?"
"No...you beat her half to death for pushing drugs she didn't know she had." Motochika hissed. Masamune blinked slowly before realization dawned on him.
"Mm! Her! I remember now!" Masamune said, "You know, I should have killed her."
