SAINTS (1x1 w/DarkMukip)

"After a stunt like that?" Matsunaga asked, "My dear boy, you don't get to ask things like that of me, not after such an unruly outburst." He turned to the petrified group and rose his hand, "Kill the humans. Capture the ghouls for study."
"No!!"
"No, please!!"
"You can't do this, no!!"

Yukimura’s anguished cries could be heard even over the gunfire, the humans in the group being separated from the ghouls and gunned down where they stood, the remaining ghouls being placed in similar handcuffs to Yukimura’s before being loaded into a separate van.

Yukimura could hardly lift his own head by the time they arrived, having to be dragged inside by two Doves, where they took him to a special holding cell made just for ghouls. He was dropped roughly on the floor and locked inside, his restraints left on so he couldn’t use his hands.

It felt like an eternity before the door opened, "I hope the accommodations are to your liking." Matsunaga said, keeping a good distance from Yukimura.

Yukimura turned his head to glare at Matsunaga, hands still bound behind his back and tears dried on his face, eyes red from crying. The strong urge to kill him came back full force, but Yukimura could hardly move. “You went back on your word.” Even talking felt a struggle to him, but not because of the suppressants; his mind was becoming more muddled, and the only thing that wanted to tumble freely from his mouth were screams, making focusing on his words hard.

"You attacked me." Matsunaga pointed out, "Now, how am I expected to keep good faith when you go for my throat like that? All because I mentioned a name."

“You… Y-You tricked me! That wasn’t me!” He snapped at Matsunaga, a confused and conflicted look on his face. “I didn’t.. I didn’t mean to attack you..!” His voice cracked; so that’s what it was. His kakuja was so far along he was starting to lose his grip on reality. It was clear in his eyes, written all over his face just how unstable he was.

Matsunaga was quiet as he studied him, "I see." He noted gently, "So you have no real memory of what took place? There was no tricks or ploys, all I did was mention your friend."

No, that wasn’t what happened at all. Yukimura had come in and attacked Matsunaga first, then accepted his deal, only for Matsunaga to go back on it- right? That’s what he remembered through his foggy memories, he never would have done something so foolish and risk the lives of his family. “You’re..” His eyes darkened and he looked angry. “You’re trying to trick me again..” He shook as he tried to recall the order of events, but it was like they kept flipping around every time he tried. Again his Kagune tried to deploy in his distressed state, but only a red mist appeared behind him, refusing to solidify due to the suppressants.

"I am not. You agreed to come with me in return for the safety of your...family. However, at the mere mention this," he paused and took a precautionary step back, "Sasuke of yours, you lost control and attacked me."

“That’s because you took him!” Yukimura snapped, jerking forward. “He’s just as much a part of my family as the ones you killed!” He snarled. “Where is he, he wasn’t at the home with the others, so what have you done with him!?”

“Whatever you’ve done to him, I swear- our deal wasn’t for you to hurt my family!” Yukimura couldn’t believe how weak he had let himself get, he should have fought back harder and killed every single Dove in his home, Matsunaga included. His mind raced and the urge to kill Matsunaga burned in his chest, his thoughts irrational and erratic, yet he did his best to hold onto his quickly diminishing sensibility. “Why am I even here, are you sending me to Cochlea?”

"I had thought about it." Matsunaga replied, "However, I've never seen a kakuja in a state like yours. Near perfect. It would make for ideal armor." He remarked cooly.

Yukimura felt dread leech into his veins. “If you want me for my kakuja then take it, just leave everyone else out of it.”

"I thank you for being so hospitable. Had you refused, which I highly doubted that you would, I would have had to go and find young Akihime." He stated, "She holds quite the persuasion over you."

Yukimura felt his mouth grow dry at the mention of Akihime’s name. “I don’t know who that is..” He said, but he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t nervous. How did he know about their relationship?

“Please don’t involve her.” He said quietly. “I’ll.. I’ll give my Kagune over willingly, I’ll stay locked up, so just… Don’t touch her.”

"So willing to pull yourself apart for a human. The idea of a ghoul and a human together is quite sickening." He stated, "Though, I promise, if you do as I ask when I ask, no harm will befall her."

“And of my other friends.” Yukimura was getting bits and pieces of clarity, something he was rather grateful for. “Where are Amaya and Sasuke? You say they’re safe here but I’ve seen no proof of that.”

"Ah," he made a noise, "Amaya is predisposed at the moment, but she is alive, I can assure you. Sasuke is also well, and you may see him soon. He is aiding in our weapon research."

Yukimura didn’t understand what Matsunaga meant at all, his head was so fuzzy and chaotic, and his emotions kept bubbling up out of nowhere. “I want to see them.” He demanded.
