SAINTS (1x1 w/DarkMukip)

"Oh, knock it off. The CCG came and went ages ago, they don't care." He said as he brought her inside, laying her on the floor before going to get something to wrap her in to keep her warm.

“It’s not them I’m scared of.” He heard Nana say as he got some blankets. She laid where he had left her, noticing that Nana’s face was bruised and scuffed now that they had some light. “It’s Aogiri, Motochika…. I-I think I messed up..!” She had tears in her eyes again, clearly trying hard not to cry.

"Hey, hey, hey," Motochika set the blankets down and knelt next to her, gently holding her face, "Listen to me, yer gonna be fine. I'm not gonna let anything happen to ya."

Nana shook her head. “You don’t get it- it’s different! They’re so much worse than I thought..! They’re dangerous, Motochika..!” Her shirt was soaked with blood from her wound, staining the floor beneath her.

Motochika wasn’t getting it, they were both in danger, so why wouldn’t he listen to her? She was getting too tired to argue, the wound on her back starting to get to her. “I just need to sleep.. my back should heal on its own and then I can leave..”

Nana winced as he wrapped her, just tired and cold now. “They’ll come looking..” Nana said tiredly.

Nana couldn’t argue with Motochika any longer, and before she knew it her eyes were closed and she was unconscious. Motochika was covered in blood from her wounds, now left to himself to clean up the mess.

Nana would be asleep for hours, not moving an inch from her spot on the floor. She woke late the next morning, well into the afternoon. The bleeding had long stopped, and the wound on her back slowly closing, but she could feel it draining all her energy. It wasn’t simply closing some wounds, she had her entire kakuhou to regrow.

Nana picked up her head to look around before her eyes fell on him, watching him rest before slowly managing to get to her feet. She stumbled down the hall, searching for the bathroom before finally finding it. Once inside she did her best to clean herself up, washing as much blood from herself as she could, and inspecting the extent of the remaining wounds. The one on her back was almost entirely closed up, only a dull ache now, but she was still covered in bruises, no energy left in her body. Drinking some water from the sink, she thought of ways she would explain herself to Aogiri. Losing the package, being beaten and cannibalized, she was thoroughly humiliated.

There was no way to know unless she went herself. She couldn’t run away, that would only get her killed. After washing her face she left the bathroom, a soft frown on her face.

Nana stopped in the hallway, her heart sinking. She was planning on leaving while Motochika still slept, but now that he was awake, the front door wasn’t an option. She turned to look back into the bathroom- the window was big enough for her to fit through. If she left now she could keep Motochika out of things; heading back toward the window quietly, she unlocked it and pushed it open.

Nana placed a hand on the window to leave, but couldn’t bring herself to jump out the window. She stood frozen for a moment before quietly closing the window. “I’m in the bathroom..” She called out, walking away from the window.

She heard him shuffle around before the bathroom door opened and then quickly shut, "Oh, shit, I should have knocked, I'm sorry...ya decent?"

Nana opened the door, standing there looking worse for wear, but dressed. “I was just cleaning up a little, sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.”

“Like shit.. it’ll pass.” She mumbled, avoiding his gaze. “Listen, Motochika, I really should leave.”
