Guns and Roses [AU: Yusuke X Kurama]

Fox:
The fox looked up at the detective and near cringed in sympathetic pain as he reached up to stretch both arms. The act must have been aggravating to both wounds. Kurama was just pondering an excuse of his own when Yusuke invited him into his. The thankful look was saved for later and he gave a slight nod. "Of course, Yusuke. Excuse me," the final words meant for the others still eating as he stood himself.

A sharp pain raced from his calf all the way up his spine to clench his throat, but his step never faltered. A simple wave was offered before he and Yusuke left in the direction of his room once more. Once out of sight the fox let out a soft sigh and allowed a slight limp to ease the pressure on his leg. "Did you really wish to speak with me?" The detective was decidedly dunce on many things, managing to say the right thing without intent. "Either way, I appreciate your aid in my escape. It was becoming difficult to retain my facade."

EDDE:
Offering his catty grin to the crowd, he gave Puu a bit of a pat on the head that was easily none too gentle. He gave a lighter smile toward the girl before moving after the redhead. The little guy didn't look all that happy to be left behind, but moved to leaning against Keiko for the attention it had been craving, and he really didn't care enough about the far too adorable thing to take it away. Okay, so that wasn't entirely true, but considering the capable hands he was leaving it in...

"I figured with how shitty I feel, you might not be doing the best after I butchered you," he told him lightly. He couldn't manage to keep the look of concern off his face as he moved back to judging his condition. A cheery look crossed him as he recognized they were out of ear and eye shot, and he could go back to using the human name for Kurama. Already he liked using it, easily feeling it was a bit special. The thought before on how none of the others tended to use it being the biggest reason.

Also, it was new even though it really wasn't, and it was oddly exciting because of it. "So you want any help, Shuichi?" He felt like he was asking that for the hundredth time, but it wasn't going to stop him from doing it, at least while he felt like it might be needed.

Fox:
And again he felt a little thud in his chest as Yusuke spoke his human name; and again, he didn't know why. "Perhaps when we've returned to the room, Yusuke" he answered with a light nod and a smile that spoke of an unpleasant future. "My calf should be redressed." He could feel the wetness of draining blood spreading across the back of his leg. Such a strenuois act must be difficult for the detective, and the thought pulled a small frown, over his features.

Kurama swipped the card key and pushed open the door to his room. "Forgive me, I..." Am being selfish. The fox shook his head and gave himself a self depricating smile. "Please ignore that." Should their rolls be reversed, he would do the same for Yusuke.

"I would like to forego changing the bandages in favor of rest," he stated with a quiet sigh as he allowed his shoulders to slump and expose his exhaution to Yusuke. "Unfortunately I do know better." At least it wouldn't be as unpleasant as a few hours ago. It was of little consolation.

EDDE:
He sighed out a bit of a chuckle, hating the idea of having to change his bandages already. "Is that the only one?" His question was overly curious, attempting to hide the hopeful tone that he wouldn't need to do the rest. He wasn't not going to do it if it were needed after all. Even if Kurama weren't affected by the plant he'd used on himself earlier that had Yusuke promising to protect him while it was...

"You know, you apologize too much." He huffed a sigh a bit boisterously through the tease but offered a soft smile. "Consider it forgotten." Honestly, even though it did bug him a little, he wouldn't really make Kurama stop if he really needed to, even though he didn't get why. Of course, that didn't mean he wouldn't complain. It really was the only part he considered a real pain.

"So," he started as they made their way into the room. "Tell me what you want me to do, Shuichi." He could be sensitive to Kurama's condition for the most part, but his nature was his nature, and he added a short tease, that rambunctious tone of his behind it. "You're kinda important to me, you know. Killing you off now would be pretty sucky." He'd lost a lot of blood the last time around. Although now that he knew what he was doing a little better, it might not be quite as bad.

Fox:
"Yes, thankfully," he answered with a nod. The fox took a seat on the bed and carefully rolled up his pant leg to take a look at the damage. Several red spots tarnished the crisp white of the gauze, but it wasn't as bad off as he'd originally thought. His sigh was relieved as he rolled the pant leg back down. It could wait for a little while at least, so long as he kept his weight off of it.

This time the name pulled the lightest of pink dusts across his nose for only the shortest of moments. "You are rather important to me as well," he assured and pondered over his next words with a thoughtful hum. His eyes returned to the detective and gave him a lightly teasing smile. "I would like you to kiss me, Yusuke."

EDDE:
A bit of color through the slightest of pouts crossed his face as his tease was broken through so easily. Still, he managed to keep up that ornery attitude as he gave off a thoughtful hum of his own. "I dunno~" he weighed out cheekily. "I mean, I just said I don't wanna kill you, but the last time..."

His words were betraying his attempts at casualizing his concern, and it was more than a little annoying. Still, despite what he said, it seemed he couldn't help himself as he closed the distance between them and leaned down over the redhead, taking a familiar hold at the back of his head. Lifting his chin through the touch of his thumb beneath it as his fingers rested on the fox's cheek, his attention turned warmed and pointed as he set his own lips against Kurama's and pressed into them gladly through a light tilt of his head.

Fox:
He blinked once then his eyelids lowered halfway, dark green curtained by thick red lashes, as Yusuke leaned in. The fox smiled before their lips touched, then moved his own pair against Yusuke's slowly. They fit together so well and Kurama found himself sighing softly as he reached out. Warm hands rested on Yusuke's hips and pulled him just a little closer.

Kurama watched the detective's eyes as he parted his lips and ran his tongue along Yusuke's lower lip invitingly. They did have some making out to catch up on, and he saw no reason to be interupted this time. So he sat up a little straighter and allowed his kiss to become more invasive and playful.

EDDE:
It only took a few seconds for his ribs to send a painful reminder through him just how inconvenient of a position he'd bent himself into. The thought to change it crossed his mind for a moment as a soft noise posed through his nose that, thankfully, didn't sound nearly as pained as it way as he managed to close his eyes lightly against it. Re-opening them through a light gaze as distraction and the lightest flutter of arousal dilated his pupils, it wasn't long before they fell closed again and his grip on the fox grew a bit heavy, contemplating a shift. No matter how he thought about it though, the most likely outcome would be that Kurama would end up being the one in pain if he did, and it sailed from his mind easily as a hot tongue rolled over his lips.

The position of his hands were barely in a safe zone for not hurting the fox any further as it was, and the thought was making him push away an unpleasant thought about the fight he'd had that pertained to how careful that bastard had been in the wounds he'd inflicted. He wanted so badly to explore over the fox's body like he had been able to the night before this happened to him, it was insane. Somewhere there was a soft rage brewing in him all over again despite having been able to push the particular memory away, as it gave room for further thought on the redhead's condition.

As he attempted to draw his attention back to the small pleasure of the fox's attention to him, he dipped his tongue past the licking tongue after offering it a warm passing over. The noise that bubbled in his chest, an exasperated groan for the thoughts that just wouldn't go the fuck away was tinged with the bit of anger he couldn't get rid of, forcing it to resemble a bit of a growl as he rolled his tongue over the roof of the other teen's mouth, wanting the reaction it pulled to force him from his thoughts.

Fox:
He recognized the sound of pain, but as hard as he tried the fox couldn't bring himself to pull away. Not when Yusuke's tongue slipped passed his own and tickled the roof of his mouth in that so pleasant way. "Mh," the soft sigh was accompanied by a short shiver, and he wanted it again.

Kurama pulled back with a soft pant. "Kneel down," he offered. "It will be easier on us both." Should they both sit on the bed Kurama would be forced to turn in one way or another that would put pressure on any number of his wounds, and Yusuke couldn't bend down this way for long. It left the fox looking down at the detective with those half-lidded eyes. His palms cupped Yusuke's cheeks to pull him up gently to continue where they left off.

EDDE:
He looked perfectly dejected for the moment it took for Kurama's suggestion, as he'd been able to pool himself into the reaction just as much as he'd wanted to. His agitation had nothing to do with Kurama however, and he found himself falling into the offer quite easily.

The frustration he as feeling managed to mount as he was forced to pull his left hand away from its hold on Kurama's face through a bit of a babying for the pain the stretch put on him. And for a moment it hovered, unsure of what to do with it before it simply landed on the spread at Kurama's side, too worried about where else it might be placed. It wasn't incredibly comfortable to keep the other hold he had against him, but he wasn't willing to pull away from that. He needed the contact in order to push away the negative thoughts threatening to dampen the experience.

Kurama's touch was helping the discontent feeling immensely however, and it wasn't too long before he could allow the majority of his attention to focus back on offering the redhead a pleasant experience. He wormed his way back into the fox's mouth, his eyes landing a willful intent on the ones looking down on him as he lapped at the top of his mouth giving various pressure to the movement, stopping only to tease at his tongue into curling around the fox's and taste at him a bit before moving right back to the previous treatment.

Fox:
He got it again. Yusuke's tongue pet across the roof of his mouth and he sucked in a sweet breath through his nose only to let it out in a wavering, muffled moan. Long laps pulled quiet sighs and tickling with the tip of his tongue made the fox shiver, and each time it grew more noticeable. Kurama's left hand dipped across the detective's neck to cup it at the base of his skull.

There was a strange feeling in the touch, something that spurred on gently massaging fingers against Yusuke's scalp between blissful tugs. Kurama's legs closed around the detective, his right leg stopping before making contact with the injured side. Another soft moan and tempting quiver, and Kurama reached for Yusuke's hand left awkwardly at his side to rest it instead on his uninjured hip.

EDDE:
God he loved the reaction he got from Kurama as he teased and tested at him. At length, he relaxed at how well he was doing with it. And the rather prominent shudder that rolled through him as the redhead drew himself closer so well and changed his hold against him made him realize just how well he was reacting himself.

Another low groan posed into the mix on his end as his fingers were led to, and curled happily against Kurama's hip. He sat a bit taller, pressing for more through the kiss as he continued the simple touches that had the fox so jittery under them. Closing a bit of the distance between them while managing not to actually press against him despite how desperately he wanted to, a warm moan had the air escaping through his nose a bit more heavily as a frustration rose in him that was far less tinged with negativity.

Fox:
Kurama suckled gently on the pleasing tongue, his own tickling the underside of it in a return affection. But the detective moaned against him and a sudden burst of heat went straight to his groin. "Ah," he pulled away with great reluctance, a string of saliva connecting their lips together for a few moments before it snapped. "How would you like to procede, Yusuke?" he asked with a soft pant.
Pulling back a little the fox tugged lightly at his shirt. "I'm afraid not much of me has been left exposed; however, you may continue your explorations, if you wish." A light pink flushed his cheeks. "In fact, I would prefer it if you did."

EDDE:
He kinda liked how his lungs felt freed up to take in air a bit more sharply when the fox pulled away. It was like he had the ability to take his breath away in a really simple way. Then again, he'd done as much before now just by the look he'd landed on him behind a locked door. He blinked a bit, looking toward the door for a moment at the thought. None of their friends had the key card though, and it wasn't like he cared if someone who worked there were unlucky enough to walk in on them. Actually, the that part made him smirk lightly. How he wanted to proceed wasn't exactly how he could proceed anyway. Well...

His attention drew back up to emerald orbs. "Well, if you want it that bad," he teased lightly as he tugged the fabric loose from Kurama's fingers as if in emphasis. He chuckled at the fact that Kurama wasn't acting as antsy as he was making it out to be. He liked teasing him. It was fun. Chocolate eyes rolled down to the top button of his shirt, reaching up and using both hands to lift the simply latched fabric. He paused, his fingers trailing over either side of the opening, to expose the skin beneath it. Curled forefingers barely passed over that skin, bandaged or not, as he pulled it open and looked down his throat and over the littlest bit he'd given himself at length.

And his fingers slid down the fabric to unlatch the next button, repeating the motion of opening it just the slightest through equal treatment of bandaged and unbandaged skin alike, before moving on to the next. As he continued the movement down his shirt, he took every bit of the fox the loss exposed, only turning his eyes up to give an offhanded comment through a pause of the action. "I like these clothes better already, Shuichi. Much nicer to work with." He offered a soft chuckle before his attention lowered all over again.

It wasn't too long at all before he'd gotten them all undone, the tips of all of his fingers brushing the bottom of the shirt away through just a little less touch over the far too sensitive abdomen. He held an attention so intently pooled over what he was doing, not recognizing himself how much he was appreciating the gauze clad form as he went about exploring mainly with his eyes in lieu of getting a better touch. He hadn't had the mind to do as much when they were together before until too many moments too close to the other shoving his clothing back on.

He smiled through a soft huff leaving his nose as he peeked up at him for another moment as he sat tall all over again. It was a bit of a chore given the movement it took, but he was enjoying the new form of exploration intently. He didn't go for Kurama's lips as he moved closer, pulling his hands back up through a shifting of the inner fabric flowing through his fingers. Once they reached the top, they took tighter hold. It was tugged away from his left shoulder first, slowly, giving that same pressure against his skin as he went. The reason for lifting himself having been to trail his lips starting from his neck across in following of the removal.

Carefully looping the arm over and down his shoulder, he allowed his lips to press a bit firmer when they touched actual skin. His attention pulled over to the other side to repeat the process as he pulled the sleeve down the first arm just as carefully, joining with the second shortly after. As the fabric bunched onto the bed when it was pulled down, his lips drew back to Kurama's throat to suckle through his teeth lightly over his pulse as he drew his fingertips right back up Kurama's arms and down over his chest and abdomen, replacing his hold on the uninjured hip and settling his other hand carefully over a slightly longer drag through an uninjured area on his leg.

His own breath had sharpened all over again through the exploration, and cuffed it's heat against Kurama's neck as he worked at adding his own little mark to the marred body he still found himself having difficulty pressing closer to as heavily as he had before.

Fox:
His head tilted, just slightly as Yusuke exposed his collar bone with a simple twist of his fingers. Fingers that roamed over his skin and left goose bumps in their wake. A swallow bobbed his throat and he took in a long, quiet breath. Why was this making him so hot? They were simple touches, light grazes that were careful of his injuries and teased his uncovered skin, and yet they ignited a low burning fire that left him sighing.

And then Yusuke said Shuichi.

A gasp was pulled from his lips and his hips rocked unconsciously, and the fox turned his head away to hide the growing blush on his cheeks. "Don't call me that now, Yusuke." But his lips pursed together to muffle a soft 'mnn,' molding perfectly into the detective's hands. His shoulder rolled to aid in the slow disrobing. Kurama couldn't stop a sweet gasp and tilting his head to expose his throat to Yusuke's sucking lips and as the teen's thumb brushed over the inside of his wrist, the fox shivered slightly.

The moment he was free of his shirt, Kurama's hands lifted to grasp the others shoulders for purchase. They moved down to grip handfuls of the detective's shirt and lightly tug. "You as well, Yusuke," he puffed.

EDDE:
A smirk set to his lips over the sudden complaint of using his name when he'd seemed to like it so much before. Of course, he did seem to like it despite the complaint. And he latched on to that quite well.

He pulled back a bit to examine his handy work of the abused skin under his lips, decidedly liking what he'd done with it. And then he pulled back more as the redhead tugged at his shirt, finally allowing a soft chuckle to pass his lips over how eager he seemed. Damn it all if Kurama hadn't been as cute as could be through the entire exchange, and that had him worse off in that want than he was before he'd started.

He allowed the devious look he'd been holding onto to pass over his features as he pulled his shirt up and over his head for the adorable way in which it was requested. Ignoring the pain the movement pulled through him easily as his mind was set elsewhere, he wrapped his fingers around hand, his thumb brushing over the inside of his wrist s he did so. It was as though, through the sharp attention he'd placed on the redhead, he was hyper focusing on each little reaction he could catch. His other hand landed back on Kurama's hip for sake of having the contact.

"What's wrong? You don't like it?" He heightened himself again, pushing close to the redhead's ear. "Shuichi..." The name was moaned warmly through a heated breath just as that lower hand slid down and offered a heavy pressure and rubbing over the hidden, excited appendage within his pants. Why? Because he really, really wanted to see what kind of reaction he got from that given the cute one he'd gotten before.

Fox:
That look crossing over Yusuke's features formed a nervous knot in his belly that only burned him hotter. His lower lip was lightly bitten, green eyes focused on the detective as his shirt was pulled off to roam every inch of the exposed torso. He wanted to touch... Just as he began to reach out to do just that, his wrist was captured in Yusuke's hand. Surprise colored his features at the little tingling waves that travled up his arms, but found himself relaxing in it.

The teen drew close to his ear and Kurama's breath hitched and was released in that far too feminine moan. "D-don't say it that way." But the detective rubbed against him just the right way to have the fox buring his face in Yusuke's neck and wrapping his arms tight around the others shoulders. He couldn't help the slight humping of his hips that he put a quick stop to when it pulled against his stomach painfully.

EDDE:
Damn, Kurama was really good at hiding his face when he really wanted to, wasn't he? Although he did realize that it partially had to do with the fact that he'd leaned so close. Still, the reaction to his touches and inflection had been rather pleasing. He chuckled warmly. "Why not?" He nipped at the shell of his ear purely for the contact, his hand still playing at the bulge. "I like saying your name, Shuichi."

He changed tactics rather quickly, moving his hand away from both holds he held, purely so that his left could tug Kurama's pants away from him enough to shift just a bit to look down at what he had hidden down there. "Hmm~" he started, dipping his right hand down and playing his thumb and forefinger over the head just lightly. "Oh, Shuichi, you're so hard. Want some help?" He was still exploring, wanting to take in any reaction he could get from the redhead as he pulled back enough while saying it to press his forehead against Kurama's. He honestly wasn't sure where the turning of his genuine concern and offer had happened, but he definitely liked the way the new name played off his own lips.

Fox:
A sharp preen started the shiver that ran through his body. Yusuke's voice was quickly turning him decidedly lewd. The chuckle alone caught his voice in his throat, and the following words dug his fingertips into Yusuke's back. The continued retort died on his lips as the detective pulled away.

Kurama retained his hold on Yusuke's shoulders and sighed. His head turned in an attempt to hide the look on his face; but those words, and that name said in Yusuke's voice perfectly accented by a squeeze over the glands, they forced his head up. "Ah!" The fox quickly bit down on his lower lip to stop any more noises. When his eyes opened he was looking into chocolate eyes, and he couldn't breathe. "Please help me, Yusuke." The plea was airy and desperate, and came from such pretty, kiss swollen lips.

EDDE:
There was no getting over the reaction he was causing through the fox. And, of course, he was loving it. He was slightly annoyed as the redhead attempted to thwart his own working at getting to be able to see those reactions all over again, but seeing as it panned out so quickly, he didn't hang on to it.

Though a blink was forced past him at that response, asking for help like that. While he kinda felt like his own question had been turned around on him, he really didn't care. Because, just like anything else Kurama had shown him, he liked it plenty especially for the shivery thrill of a feeling it sent rolling through him.

A light smile landed on his lips as he even his look right back into the fox's. "Sure." Without hesitation, teasing fingers slid down right along with the rest of them and circled around him firmly, moving into a stroking right off the bat. He couldn't help the smirk that rolled over his lips all over again, as he'd noticed something about Kurama after having thought on it. "You'll have to tell me how to help you out, Shuichi." He kinda doubted he would, but he hadn't had much of a lesson with just his hand. Well, aside from that first time, but he hadn't been able to pay attention to what he was doing at all, just what he was doing to him.

Fox:
Emerald eyes slid shut and a low moan was released across the detective's lips. Already Yusuke's hand was starting to become slick, the fox learned through his own 'explorations' that he could get a bit... Messy. The detective's words were met with a quick nip to his lower lip before Kurama silenced them both with a heated kiss. He didn't ask for permission with a sweet tongue, instead the slick muscle eagerly invaded his mouth to twirl their tongues together.

Blunt nails dragged along Yusuke's back, clinging in pleasure and petting in the brutal desire to return the favor. "Mnha, Yusuke," he moaned into their kiss, urging him to stroke a little faster by little jerks of his hips.

EDDE:
His teasing fell away quite easily as he absorbed Kurama's reaction to his touch. He jumped bodily at the nip to his lip, rolling through a shutter as he pressed right back into the kiss. A warm groan encompassed him as he played back at his tongue eagerly, taking any chance he could as he teased his tongue over the roof of his mouth. Okay, so he wasn't expecting this as a reaction, but it wasn't like he could complain about it.

His back arched away from and back into the fingers playing across it as he fell into the rhythm of a faster, heavier stroke, his opposite hand returning to its spot on Kurama's hip as he did so. He didn't want the redhead moving much considering what it could do to him, after all. Again he was thinking about it, and the sensitivity he'd had on a previous occasion rolled through him and caused a groan as he remembered the fox's hand down his pants. It clicked for him though, and he managed to slick his palm over the head a few times through the stroking.

Fox:
The kiss was accented with soft gasps and little moans that followed each swipe of Yusuke's tongue against the roof of his mouth. As he'd said before, Yusuke was a quick study. The thoughts of what else he could learn had him twitching in the detective's hand, and then he rubbed against the head just right. Kurama pulled from the kiss and dove into the others shoulder and gripped him tight enough to leave light scratches over the teen's back.

Every part of him tensed and he quivered in his fight to keep still and not throw his head back, not arch as he knew he would. His hold on Yusuke the only thing keeping him from throwing his head back and curving his spine. "Ha~h!" His toes curled the fox's hips jumped against his will as the rolling orgasm overtook him. The face Yusuke was missing was quite the sight, eyebrows knitted together, mouth open and eyes shut with a beautiful flush across his cheeks. Little gasping moans followed each spurt of his seed that was now covering Yusuke's hand.

He was left exhausted. Kurama slumped against the detective with heavy pants, he barely had the energy to open his eyes and yet... His head turned and he placed lazy kisses over Yusuke's neck. The fox sighed and lowered a hand to lazily paw at the others chest, attempting and failing to pull Yusuke up enough to cup his palm around the erection surely ailing the young detective.

EDDE:
There was a bit of a complaint in his voice for the loss of the kiss, but as Kurama drew him close it was pretty easy to get over. The noises the redhead gave off were perfectly stunning, though they weren't helping his own issue. And neither were the nails digging into his back and causing a deep-set shiver to roll through him. He leaned into the hold and cupped a supportive one of his own against the base of Kurama's skull while his opposite hand continued its movement as it was messed thoroughly.

Another shiver and a light groan rolled from his lips as the fox kissed at his neck and touched at his chest. Chuckling softly, his clean hand moved to support Kurama carefully under the arm at a safe spot for pain as he pulled back. Removing his hand from his pants, he landed his eyes on him through a light smirk and licked at the mess there through his words after offering a warm hum through the action. "You know, I kinda didn't believe you before, but you taste good Shuichi."

Upon finishing, he leaned forward and offered a quick peck to the fox's lips before pulling away entirely. "You're tired, right?" Making sure the redhead had some balance of his own first, he checked on the wrapped wound that had been exposed on Kurama's leg. "It doesn't look too bad," he added, peeking up at the other teen. "I bet you could get some rest before we gotta mess with it."

Fox:
Yusuke pulled away and the fox reluctantly released the tight hold he'd had. Though he very much wanted to lay back onto the bed and fall into a very deep and much needed slumber, Kurama held his balance without need of the support. He watched the detective lick his hand clean, but it was only when his human name was brought up again did he glance away. "Don't say my name in such a manner," the weak order was followed by a soft, resigned sigh.

The quick kiss soothed him quickly enough, even though Yusuke was pulling away completely out of his reach. "I am," he agreed with a slight nod, watching as his leg was examined. Thankfully their fun hadn't caused anymore bleeding, and Yusuke was right. Redressing could wait a little longer. It wasn't difficult to notice what the detective was doing, he'd done it himself before; and, while he wanted to press the issue that could clearly be seen between Yusuke's legs, he was just far too tired. "Thank you, Yusuke."

Kurama reached out once more, this time to cup Yusuke's cheek and pull him in for one more kiss. It was longer than a peck and innocent in its nature. "I no longer require protection. You may return to our friends if you'd prefer," he offered with a gentle smile. "Keiko must be worried about you."

EDDE:
Chuckling lightly at the complaint all over again as he moved away from the leg to look up at him, smiling. "So, do you regret giving me permission to use your name?" He was half teasing, unable to help liking that reaction. That other reaction it gave him too made it totally worth it. "I really do like saying it, and since I have permission, I'm gonna say it as much as I want."

He smiled inwardly, leaning into the kiss happily and running his fingers through Kurama's bangs and hair lightly. When the girl was mentioned, he blinked a bit, sighing lightly upwards through a bit of a puff, the air displacing the few strands of loose hair over his forehead as he moved to stand. "Eh. Keiko's always been like that. She'll get over it." He thought about it a moment. "And anyway, I already said I was tired, and I doubt anyone else really cares all that much now. It should be fine if I don't make an appearance for a while." He'd already figured that really wasn't fair to her, but he wasn't worried about it. She was bound to seek him out and dig her claws in eventually.

Moving to sit on the bed, he smiled all over again. "You didn't really think I was just gonna ditch you at the first chance, right? Gimme a little credit," he chuckled out though a tease. "I plan on bugging you until you either let someone heal you, or get better yourself." He poked Kurama in the forehead for emphasis of the words to follow, chuckling cruelly. "It's gonna be so annooooying~"

Fox:
"I am beginning to," he lied in a huff that was far too unlike him. A common occurrence in the past few days, and one that was bringing forth wide confusion and a strange comfort. Fingers played in his hair and Kurama turned his head into it just slightly while they brushed against several hidden seeds that remained dormant.

Yusuke brushing off the thought of Keiko brought a heat to his chest that he recognized as possession. It sent a shiver along his arms and he let out a slow breath through his nose to quell the desire to pull the detective close and continue their little 'adventure.' "I fear you will be doing so for several days then," he answered with a soft chuckle of his own. It wouldn't be such a terrible experience with this sort of 'annoyance.' "May I suggest leaving the irritants for a later date. I confess, there is little that I would like to do more at the moment, than sleep for a very long time." The admission came with a heavy sagging of his shoulders as he bent forward slowly.

Oh so carefully the fox pulled his shoes off, cringing as it pushed against his injured heel. He could feel the bandages sliding over the wound across the back of his ankle and released a relieved sound the moment his foot was free.

EDDE:
He chuckled lightly. "Stubborn." He would have liked to see Kurama doing better sooner in getting healed, but either way it was fine with him. He wasn't looking forward to changing those bandages again, but he'd deal with it.

He nodded lightly toward the suggestion, watching the redhead and resisting the urge to just do it for him. He felt kind of stupid for how delicately he was wanting to treat him, but didn't let it bother him much anyway. Instead, he copied the movement, flinching a bit at the sting for the movement of his shoulders, the new pain coming as a surprise. "So, Shuichi," He started lightly, still liking how easy it was to overcome the urge to call him 'Kurama', but offering him an odd, whimsical look. "What exactly did you do to my back?"

Fox:
"You are hardly the standard," he countered, sitting up once his shoes were removed and contemplated his pants for a moment. Though, he found himself distracted once more by the use of his name and it still lifted a warmth into his cheeks. But instead of being embarrassed by such a reaction, the fox just smiled. A smile that faltered into a nervous chuckle.

A hand was lifted to awkwardly scratch at the back of his head while he looked up and away. The marks left behind on Yusuke were clear as day, pretty stripes clawed across his shoulder blades. Left behind by a fox in bliss. "Ah, it seems I may have... scratched at your back during your... explorations," Kurama answered quickly. "It is fortunate that I no longer have claws."

EDDE:
"Yeah, well the biggest lesson I've learned in life is how to be a hypocrite," He chuckled out lightly. He listened to the explanation, a thoughtful look and hum rolling over him as he became distracted for just a moment. He thought about the claws for a moment, shuddering lightly and making a bit of a face at it.

A moment later he was thinking back on the instances they'd spent together. "So you're a biter..." Although that one was debatable since it was just that one thing he did, but it made for a good point. "And a scratcher..." He pointed to the tip of a lifting finger for each as he said as much, lowering them and turning his eyes quite pointedly on the fox through that devious smirk of his as his tone turned cheeky through his question. "Are you a screamer, Shuichi?"

Fox:
His hand fell away from his head to scratch his pointer finger over his cheek, his gaze still pointed up at an angle in a purely innocent look. The tip of his tongue poked out as Yusuke listed off his sexual habits. He'd always been a biter and scratcher, even his thicker-skinned lovers would bleed under his expressions of ecstasy. The fox absently wondered how much damage he would end up inflicting on the detective.

Kurama's face had returned to its usual color, with only the lightest hit of pink over the bridge of his nose. Youko wasn't a screamer, but he honestly didn't know if he was now. He'd been noisy so far. "Just telling you wouldn't be much fun, would it?" The fox answered with a playful purr. Though the sly look in his eyes was hampered by fatigue.

EDDE:
Yusuke smiled inwardly at the cute look on the fox's face as he made his list. The answer he got wasn't exactly expected, but h took it in stride. Chuckling softly, he leaned a bit closer, looking him down, and then up to land his sights right back on tired green pools.

"You're right. It'll be a lot more fun finding out for myself." The heat in his eyes might have mainly had to do with the issue he was still sitting with, one that was incredibly uncomfortable, and yet he seemed to be mildly distracting himself away from. The intent that was practically shining in them as he did was a bit different, and might bring a bit of question to the former, even if he didn't quite recognize exactly how he'd put the words together himself. After all, he didn't see this thing they had together as ending any time soon. It simply hadn't crossed his mind that it might.

Fox:
The fox melted under the hot chocolate gaze and the words that promised more. Everything in him wanted to reach out and pull him close again, and he cursed the wounded state that made it impossible. "You may have as much time as you desire," he promised, reaching out again to spread his fingers over the back of Yusuke's neck. Just one more kiss, one more soft press of lips that lasted just long enough. "Join me in bed, won't you? I don't think I can stay awake much longer."

EDDE:
It was finally his turn to go a bit red in the face at Kurama's words again. It hadn't happened all that recently, and he leaned in to happily take up the offer of his lips all over again.

----

Yusuke sighed sharply as he walked, staring through heated anger down at the stupid animal he had tucked under his arm. It was only the second full day back and already he was sick of... well, everything. The first day had gone just about as well as he could have hoped, and he'd ended up skipping the second half of the day for his usual haunt on the roof, bored completely out of his mind. Today had started out just the same, and the only reason he'd even gone was because Keiko had nagged at him so much the day before for skipping.

He'd left even earlier today, and he had the stupid little fur ball with him because Keiko had some stupid student council thing she needed to focus on or something. He hadn't bothered to pay attention to her nagging after the first few words of it today. He'd skipped out not long after that. How was it that the idiots who called themselves teachers could manage to make him practically yearn for the past few months to start all over again even if he had to go through all the crappy parts again?

He paused as he recognized the thought that had just run through his mind. The implication was crap; and it annoyed him. Even though he'd flourished in the environment the tournament had to offer, he wouldn't go back unless quite a few things came out differently. He doubted he'd be able to handle going through Genkai's death again, even if he knew beforehand that she would be coming back. And he doubted if he had to watch Kurama get hurt as badly as he did all over again, he wouldn't handle it nearly as well as he had the last time... Not with knowing what it had meant for him afterward. Hell, the first time around he'd barely been able to contain himself during more than one of his fights. A second couldn't be any better

His head tilted as he read over the sign when he came upon it, 'Meio Private Academy', before moving on past it to the gate. He blinked a bit, staring at the barred entrance. "It's closed?..." That seemed a little weird. Then again, he wasn't used to the gate being there in the first place. It wasn't closed though, because a few students ran in from out of sight in the courtyard. He looked around, and then listened. He could hear some kids off in the distance, but it didn't seem like anyone was around.

Smirking, he stared up at the top of the gate and along the wall. It was less likely that it was meant to keep students in, though. "Who's it meant to keep out then?" It was far too simple to hop the fence, landing on the other side just as much. He chuckled mildly as he looked back at it. "Not me, I guess. Too easy for that."

He heaved another sigh before stepping up to the window he'd stopped in front of, not really sure what to expect in being so brazen in appearance after sneaking in, but peered into the classroom curiously regardless. He's come for a reason, after all. This was a private school, and he stuck out like a sore thumb, not that he cared.

When he'd been back up on the roof this morning, after a short nap forced purely out of boredom and the morning sun hitting him in a nice way, his mind had wandered back to Kurama. He'd realized that he'd never actually been to Kurama's school before, and a curiosity had roamed through him over it much stronger than it had the first day. Kurama was a good kid though, so he was pretty sure he'd be in class. It was getting close to lunch though.

Yusuke found himself wondering rather stupid things about this school during his search. Although questions such as whether lunch periods worked the same as they did at his school weren't quite as stupid-- considering the other small oddities he'd noticed-- as the thoughts that sprung from them in an overactive imagination.

Walking along the grounds and peering in each window he passed was causing a huge ruckus as he continued on. It was kind of entertaining to look over the various reactions to people noticing him there while he searched out the redhead, and he couldn't help but chuckle at the few students who would hurry over to the window as he continued on. There was a small group of male students out in the courtyard as he was walking by. His eyes landed on them the entire time he walked by them up until he passed, purely for the fact that he could have sworn he heard one of them say 'Shuichi'.

Since he wasn't sure, he kept going despite their attention turning to him. He tilted his head to look up at the building as he got to the next window, suddenly realizing that he hadn't thought of what he'd do if Kurama weren't on the first floor. He didn't notice the students inside the classroom he's stopped in front of were beginning to notice him. Pondering the three-story issue for a moment, his ears suddenly gained a bit of a burn, his attention rolling over to the students he'd recently passed as he realized they were talking about him. Mainly, that they were jeering quietly and pointing out the spirit beast he still had tucked under his arm.

Annoyance radiated through him as he turned toward them fully. He hadn't even let most of his friends get away with teasing him over the stupid thing, so he wasn't about to let some snobby brats he didn't even know do it. His voice was loud, tone perfectly intimidating as he glowered at them. "What, you think just 'cause I carry around an ugly teddy bear it means I'm a nice guy?!" He was all but shouting as he stomped off toward them, the smirk that rolled over his face at the thought of giving them a piece of his mind, and possibly his fists, matching up to that intimidating tone just as well. "Hey, why so quiet?! You had plenty to say just a second ago!" He paused for a moment as the boys took off, laughing sharply as he broke into a run after them. "Don't run, you little pansies!"

Fox:
Normal life for us all will seem... pale, for a while.

It was, and it was perfect. The comparatively ordain life of a human teenager was a piece of paradise for the spirit fox. Coming home to see his mother, and able to hug her firmly thanks to Genkai's insistence on healing his wounds, lifted a great deal of weight from his chest and shoulders. He sunk into her embrace and was washed in such grand relief, and he slept that night with a clear mind.

With his right hand resting neatly in in his pocket and his brief case held in the left Kurama stepped from the school building into the court yard, heading in the direction of the library. He'd fallen behind in his classes because of the tournament and he would be quick to catch up again. However, he looked up with a confused expression as Yusuke stalked by, staring down a group of his classmates.

Part of him wanted to let this run its course, perhaps a hidden malice drawn forth from the blood lusts of just a few days ago. "Yusuke!" He called, hurrying over to the detective before any bodily harm could come to the other boys. It didn't take long to notice the abundance of attention they were receiving and he gave a quiet sigh. Still, he couldn't help smiling, even if it did falter quickly. "Has something happened?"

EDDE:
Why wasn't he as annoyed as he thought he should be at these idiots? As he thought about it, he realized it was most likely because they couldn't put up much of a fight. That didn't stop him from chasing them down, because scaring the Holy piss out of those pussies was a lot more exciting than anything else going on in his life currently. Two days; And it hadn't even taken the full two days for things to become stifling. So yeah, he was planning on milking the fun of the whiny teens' horrified screams and chattering as they ran for all it was worth.

He'd completely lost focus on what he'd come here to do, not paying attention as someone tried to catch his attention. "Not now! I got some dumb ass heads to knock together!" He stopped in his tracks just a moment after saying so, just as Puu began squirming in his hold heavily. Turning to Kurama, he tossed his briefcase over his shoulder, supporting it in his hand that way. "Oh hey, there you are, Shuichi. How come you're not in class?" He managed to marvel for a moment at how easily the name rolled from his lips despite the fact that he hadn't really made the conscious decision to call him by it. And man was that question was rich, coming from him. He breezed right on by it to answer the question he'd been given quickly.

"Nothing's happened that I know of." Coming from him, it was almost in the form of a question itself, though he realized pretty quickly why Kurama had asked it. "Oh. I came because..." And at that moment he realized that he really didn't have a good reason as to why he came. Because I wanted to see you.

A heavy shroud of heat covered his face nearly evenly from bottom to top for how dumb the thought sounded. He turned his attention down on the squirming creature that was reaching for Kurama. It couldn't move much more than that with the way he had it trapped against him, and at least it had taken to heart that it needed to keep quiet around people. Still, he found his excuse through a quick skip of his pulse between having stopped talking and continuing. "B-because Puu missed you. He's been really annoying too. And I was bored out of my mind anyway, so I figured what the Hell." It sounded even stupider than simply saying what had been on his mind, and he doubted it would fly despite how well he'd stumbled through the explanation.

His attention was drawn away from the blunder almost instantly through a couple that happened to be passing by, their hands cupped near their mouths as they spoke quietly, though not quietly enough, to each other. "I can't believe Shuichi is with a person like that," the first chided. "Think about it, though. If anyone could quell a beast..." her male counterpart answered lightly. "Oh wow, I guess you're right." Their giddy little chuckling over the 'private' conversation clipped off immediately as they froze and drew slightly closer to each other under the sharp glare the detective landed on them.

Fox:
The fox blinked, wide eyed for just a moment as he was brushed off in favor of 'knocking heads around.' The look was quickly changed into one of amusement. "I could ask the same of you," though why ask such a thing when he already knew the answer. Yusuke was never one to go to class even before the tournament, returning with such immense power was sure to make the already boring class subjects was sure to be confining. He relaxed, assured that for the moment there was no crisis to pull him away from the human life he'd missed.

The half started sentence followed by the color in Yusuke's cheeks brought a warm smile to his lips. Thoughts of leaning in and capturing that stumble on his lips passed through his mind; but, he couldn't. Kurama found himself embarrassed to kiss the detective before such an audience. "Is that so? Then I suppose I should give him my affections." He reached out to lightly pet the tuft of black hair atop Puu's head. "I missed you as well," he soothed, though his eyes met Yusuke's. "Hush for now Puu," he added while pulling his hand away from the squirming beast.

Kurama couldn't stop a light laugh. "It seems your reputation precedes you, even in my school. Though, please refrain from attacking my class mates. It will reflect badly on me as well." Returning to the previous question the fox replied. "This is my free period. I was headed to the library but, it will be open after school." He took a moment to glance at the school and the many students gawking at the windows. "Shall we find some place more private?" Words that could mean so much, and yet were said with innocence and followed by a playful tease that narrowed the fox's eyes with mischief. "I cannot tend to your spirit beast in front of the majority of the student body after all."

EDDE:
He blinked a bit as he watched Kurama give a bit of attention to the little beast, his face heating all over again after the distraction those students had given him for the tinge of jealousy that grasped him over it. It was stupid, after all, and embarrassing all on it's own to be jealous over a stupid little animal. Although he would have rather been called out on it... And then he was, which made his attention turn away abruptly. "Y-yeah." Now that was just mean; not that he could complain. And it wasn't like he minded how happy the attention made Puu, or for how quickly it calmed down and held still under Kurama's command.

He scoffed as he was asked not to beat up stupid people, though he sighed it out pretty quickly. "Ya think? That might have to do with the crybabies I just chased across the school yard," he mumbled while attempting to hide back the bit of glee for the scare tactic to travel over him. "Well anyway since I'm only here to see you, I guess it'd be a bother to get in trouble for fighting." It wasn't really fair anyway, right? Starting anything with normal humans wouldn't be very entertaining. Certainly not as entertaining as scaring them into practically pissing themselves had proven a few moments before.

"But you know, Shuichi..." he started as he pulled off a horribly convincing evil look incredibly well. "I ain't makin' any promises for people who seriously piss me off." There was a jump in the couple's step as they suddenly sped off at a far more brisk walk, causing a heavy, cheeky snigger to roll through the detective before his attention turned back on Kurama.

"Sounds good to me." He finally answered about getting out from under all the eyes on them. "I've never been good at keeping a low profile," he added through another chuckle as he followed the redhead once he'd set to motion. "I'm pretty good at screwing that part up though. You know, I bet I'd make a lousy spy." He thought on just how horrible he would be at being a spy with his boastful, cocky nature as they walked, fully distracting himself with it.

Fox:
An amused but exasperated sigh left his lips as the couple was frightened away. His reputation was going to make a rapid change, not that it was such a bother; because that devious snicker alone was enough to bring him delight. "And yet you are a detective, an interesting career choice," he teased lightly. The detective was lead inside for a brief moment for the fox to pull the handkerchief holding a bento box out from locker.

Kurama slipped down the quiet halls and lead the detective up to the rooftop. It was much the same as any other, except for the garden spread out across one side. The plants were lush and green and provided a nice shade to sit under. "I often come here to read during my lunch hour," he explained, taking a seat on the stone bench.

EDDE:
His musings had turned far less innocent quite quickly as he watched the redhead walk in front of him, of course the teen was featured in his little spying fantasy... Although oddly enough it still didn't turn out well for him no matter the scenario that came to mind, which was weird, considering he never really tended to think all that hard when his mind ran away with him. He chuckled all over again toward the comment on his career, finding that he had to agree. "I guess so."

He looked around the halls curiously as they walked inside, tilting his head a bit as he took in his surroundings. There really wasn't too much that was different than Sarayashiki, at least not in the hallways. He blinked a bit and tensed while he looked around again, as Kurama moved on from stopping at his locker, realizing he wasn't exactly being inconspicuous roaming the halls with the redhead.

Although it had become awkward, as he hadn't expected to find himself indoors, he found himself curious about where they were headed, and he ended up allowing the distraction of looking around to settle his shoulders all over again. Even the feeling of it wasn't really much different from walking the halls of his own school. Well, they were maybe a little more familiar than this. But his attention had fallen on Kurama, and a decidedly more peaceful look than the one he'd plastered on for show in the courtyard fell over him as they walked.

When they got to the roof, he gave a light whistle for the impression the fancy garden made on the area. "Of~ course you do," he teased through a light droll. "Why does it not surprise me that you'd spend your free time that way?" Kurama was pretty smart after all, something that was never hard to remember, and he'd had his own thoughts on how he had to act when they weren't around because of it.

He chuckled as he sat down next to him, offering the garden a bubbly, thoughtful look as he checked it out. "My school should get one of these. It'd make naps a lot more comfortable," he added, chuckling again at his own comparison between their spent free time.

His attention turned to Kurama all over again, the same look about his face. How was it that he'd gone from perfectly pissy, and begrudging just about everything to do with life, to appeased all of a sudden? He could only suppose as he thought about it, that it was when he'd caught sight of the redheaded teen, as that was the time that his mood had shifted in a way that even found it's way through the thick walls of density he tended to have about him.

He smiled, it being light and pleasant as he set Puu, who hadn't taken his eyes off the fox, down beside himself and dropped his briefcase down at his feet carelessly. "You're doin' alright since the other day, right Shuichi?" He knew it was a dumb question, considering the old lady had healed him up and he knew as much, but it was the first thing that came time mind, and had sort of just came out. Although, the more he talked, the more chance he had to practice the teen's name to his own delight.

Fox:
"If you put in the effort to fund a project like this, I'm sure your teachers would agree. If only out of stunned curiosity," he teased lightly, knowing such a thing was never going to happen. His own case was set down with more care than Yusuke's and the bento box was placed in his lap. "I'd suggest you simply visit me here for such naps, but it seems like a chore to do so." Kurama smiled at Puu and lifted him up with gentle hands, fingers scratching under the ears pleasantly. "You only came because Puu has been persistent, after all."

Kurama gave a soft sigh and pulled the little beast close enough to press a light, sweet kiss on the beak. He was then rested on his shoulder, the fox turning his head to offer Puu a few nuzzles while he trained his eyes on the detective. However, a kind smile was offered at the question. "Yes, not even scars were left behind." Though he still felt stiff, and phantom pains still tormented him now and again. "And you?" The fox reached out to lightly brush his fingers over Yusuke's left arm. "Does it still ail you, Yusuke?"

EDDE:
He shrugged lightly, figuring the show of involvement would probably shock the Hell out of the staff at his school, but at the same time, "I doubt they'd care enough."

His focus turned on the attention Puu was getting for an interest in Kurama that had been his own. He bubbled up all over again, turning his eyes up and away as he leaned back against his hands a bit. "It still hurts if I move wrong or somethin', but it's fine," he pouted out mildly. He didn't feel like mentioning the pain that radiated through his chest more often than the healing arm.

And through a puffed-up sigh that displaced his hair a bit, he managed an offer in a bit of a mutter under pink cheeks, as Puu pressed for more happy nuzzles from Kurama in the attention it had been delighting in. "And anyway, I was already thinking about you, so it's not like it was just him." He still wasn't looking at him as he said as much.

Fox:
Cute. He watched the detective pout and blush and mumble out a response. "Ah, I see," he replied with a slight nod. Long, thin fingers scratched in just the right places along Puu's chin and ears, and even pressed his cheek against the little blue penguin. This continued for a bit before the redhead turned to settle Yusuke with a playful smile and sly fox eyes. "Was I doing anything in particular while running through your thoughts?"

EDDE:
The continued touches and pets, although the weird purring noise he'd heard from Puu once before when Kurama had a hold of it, brought his eyes back to watch the attention Puu was all but bathing in from the corner of his eye. And as it went on, his chin turned back toward the two to stare through that pout of his.

Walnut eyes rounded quickly at the question, his posture straightening instantly as a sharp heat rushed his face. His hands lifted, right reaching behind his head as he left patted oddly at the air in front of him. "N-nothing. Nothing at all." The response was partially conditioned, oddly prepared for a negative reaction purely for his own inference of what the question meant. The other part, however, was a stabbing embarrassment that he hadn't been expecting in the least purely for the look Kurama landed on him when he'd asked it. It was true though, that nothing like what he was thinking now had been on his mind when he'd been thinking on the redhead at his own school. And that was kind of weird, now that he thought about it.

But he couldn't help himself, as the question itself brought his most recent thoughts of spying to mind. "Although..." Instead of furthering that sharp embarrassment, it brought that devious smirk to his face and allowed him to relax quickly enough to land a pointed look on the redhead as he reached and leaned forward. The hand that matched the opposite of the one Kurama wasn't busy messing with Puu traced down his arm and landed in a light hold against his wrist, pointer and middle fingers petting along the inside of it lightly. The other hand rolled down Kurama's side, landing at his waist as he finished the thought. "More recently, you were ditching that uniform."

Fox:
The reaction pulled a laugh from the fox, watching the detective wave his hand around. However, it came to a slow stop as Yusuke settled him with a look that made his heart flutter. He didn't pull away as the other leaned in, in fact he shivered just a bit as fingers brushed over the thin skin over the inside of his wrist. He wondered if Yusuke could feel his heartbeat speeding up.

Kurama's hand fell away from Puu to shift the bento box onto the bench and off his lap. "Was I?" he purred back, fingers touching the zipper of the uniform jacket and tugging it down just a bit. The jacket was opened halfway before Kurama stopped and settled forest eyes on chocolate with a vulpine playfulness. "Or, perhaps you were removing it for me?"

EDDE:
His attention drew over each of Kurama's movements as he went. A warm shiver rolled through him as the zipper pulled downward, causing his breath to come out a bit shuttered. He chuckled lightly at the question. He hadn't been able to get that far in his musings, unfortunately. Then again... "Well, where's the fun in imagining that? I'd rather be doing it."

Reaching for the zipper himself, he leaned in, closing the short distance he'd put between their lips in having leaned forward previously.

Fox:
A hot breath of air was let out as Yusuke's lips neared his. His head tilted just so and eager to accept the offered kiss; but he lifted his hand again and placed two fingers against Yusuke's lips. They were hardly a few inches from touching and the warm look he was giving the detective expressed how much he wanted to embrace the kiss.

The fox drew closer, their legs touching and their bodies so close, but he didn't drop his hand. "I've missed you," he said softly, warm breath caressing Yusuke's cheeks. "Have you missed me as well, Yusuke?"

EDDE:
He blinked once when he was stopped, pausing bodily for it, and easily confused by the movement considering the reaction. The pause gave him a moment though, as Kurama shifted closer, to notice the horribly disturbing face that was still perched next to the fox's. Annoyed by the tiny beast all over again, his hand lifted from the grasp he had on the redhead's zipper. Buzz off. He shooed the damn thing away, only paying enough attention to notice it flew off to land somewhere in the garden, his main focus remaining on the teen in front of him.

If he was gonna make him say it, why not say it all, since he wanted it so much. Even if the thought was a bit obstinate, he smiled, a softness in it he hadn't been able to pull up in his earlier attempt to tell the fox as much. That same hand moved to circle around Kurama's hand and steal it away. "Listen, Shuichi, you're the only good thing I've had to think about. How the Hell could I not?" He didn't fight the heat the admission brought about this time, as it wasn't one that hit just his face. Although he did gain that cheeky look of his immediately after saying so, still having a bit of trouble keeping to the sweetness he'd shown him previously. "So do I get to kiss you any time soon, or ya need me to do some tricks, too?"

Fox:
A thud in his chest twitched his fingers around Yusuke's hand and softened his features. Such an admission pulled a soft sigh from his lips that danced across Yusuke's. It was damp, and warm. However, the cheeky grin pulled a mischievous smile of his own. Kurama pulled back from the detective and took that head tilted angelic pose he often took.

"What sort of tricks can you preform?" The fox asked, finger pointing up. "I imagine playing dead wouldn't be very difficult for you." Kurama made a valiant effort in hiding his laughter, but a few amused chortles made their way through.

EDDE:
That was a pretty good one, actually, not that he would say so out loud. Instead, he piled on his own. "Yeah, ha-freakin-ha." He couldn't hide the upturn in his lips despite sounding annoyed perfectly well. "What, was it too easy to go after me for knowing how to 'speak'?"

Chuckling, he grabbed Kurama's shoulder, curling his fingers around his neck as his palm took to supporting the base of his skill. He pulled Kurama close, almost not willing to stop. His full attention was on gaining those lips, heated intent falling right back into emerald pools as he breathed, "Woof." And he took them, having done his trick, a bit more hungrily than he'd intended purely for the denial he'd faced.

Fox:
He liked this expression even better than the heated gaze. Just a smile, but it was enough to have him fold under Yusuke's hands. He leaned in with the gentle guidance, and his cheeks instantly burned with the detective's single word. Surprise pulled a muffled exclamation from the fox, eyes widening for just a moment before melting.

Kurama molded their lips together, matching the hungry intent with suction and nibbles and quick swipes of the tongue. Sighing blissfully the fox cupped both hands over Yusuke's cheeks, guiding him closer; he let this last for several long second before breaking the kiss. The act created a soft sucking sound as their lips parted. He chuckled, low enough to be seen in the jumping of his shoulders but not heard.

The redhead turned away and picked up the bento box once more. "Would you like to have lunch with me before we continue?" Yusuke was offered a genuine smile as he held the wrapped box.

EDDE:
He hadn't been going for the cute reaction when he'd said it, but he appreciated it anyway. The attention lavished on him was returned eagerly, happy to have gotten what he'd wanted. And he reveled in it the entire time it lasted.

A cant took to his head as Kurama pulled back, curiosity drawing over his features for the sudden end to a rather blissful situation. He looked down at the box as the redhead pulled it around. Slanting a bit in his seat, a puff of air aimed upward at the bit of bangs that hung over his forehead. A resigned smile passed over his lips as he chuckled quietly. "How the Hell can you change gears so fast?" It wasn't a complaint, simply an observation he really had no room to talk on considering his own uncanny ability to do so.

"I didn't bring a lunch," he added lightly, that upturn of his lips softening his eyes a bit as his attention turned back on the redhead.

Fox:
"That is alright Yusuke," he assured, pulling the cloth free of its knot to expose the very pretty bento box. Solid black with painted silver vines. "We'll simply have to share mine." Deceptively delicate fingers pulled the top of the box free and set it aside.

Inside was a pair of rice balls nestled together in a bed of sliced cucumbers and carrots. Each was carefully shaped into the form of a cat with seaweed strips used to create eyes and whiskers. Six sushi rolls and four octopus cut sausages settled among purple grapes; and resting on top were two sets of black chopsticks that matched the box in design. He took one pair for himself. "Mother insists on making my lunch," he started. "I'm sure you will find it delightful."

EDDE:
It looked really good. In more ways than one, as it was also really cool how it was put together. And it was cute. He blinked a bit as a thought crossed his mind and forced a soft bout of laughter that quickly died into chuckles as he reached over and poked the fox in the cheek. "So, in this case, 'you are what you eat' applies, right?" It was a warm tease that died down just as quickly as his laughter had in lieu of turning his attention back on the food.

"Man~" he added lightly. "Your mom's freakin' awesome. I don't get how people can do that kinda stuff with food." That light smile returned as he looked over the food again. It was cute, yeah, but it was almost too pretty to eat too. Certainly not something he was used to in the least.

He noticed the second set of chopsticks and pointed them out as he looked at him curiously. "Hey Shuichi, do you share your lunches often?" The question was asked lightly enough, but the thought in itself brought a bit of a tug about his chest that was barely recognizable. Barely, but it threatened to bring a bit of color to his cheeks that he managed to push away. What a stupid thing to be feeling all of a sudden.

Fox:
Kurama somehow made the simple act of plucking a sushi roll free look graceful, and did so again by lifting it to his lips. He truly did have a weakness for sushi, for most seafood in fact, though he hid it well from the rest of the world. His mother, however, knew full well of her son's 'guilty pleasure' and delighted in indulging him whenever she could.

"Would it bother you if I did?" He laughed warmly and offered a shake of his head. "No, but my mother hopes that I will. Ever since I was a small child, she packed me an extra set. I never saw a reason to stop her."

EDDE:
The question, as it was what he'd been thinking about himself, forced that harsh heat to radiate over his face. He drew his attention down to the food quickly through a light glare, snatching up the second set and plucking up a roll himself as he pouted out, "Yea, well so what if it did?"

As he mimicked the way in which Kurama at the roll, purely for the act of doing so, he couldn't stay mad. Not because he was privately mocking Kurama, while simultaneously taking up his manners in eating, but because it was just so damned good. As he bubbled up into a happy pout, he picked at one of each of the things in the box to test them, a bit less mockingly and closer to his usual eating habit. He ended up with half a rice ball in his hand after taking a rather large bite of it as he worked at swallowing the bite that was a bit much for him down.

Once he'd handled it, he smiled widely at the redhead. "I've only tasted food this good at restaurants and stuff. You're telling me for sure your mom made this? Cause I'm free for dinner tonight!" It was only a half tease through a chuckle, as he was now rather excited to try more of her food, and he moved to eating the rest of the rice ball a bit more carefully for how the bigger clump seemed to be sticking in his chest.

Fox:
"Then I would be very happy," he answered easily, watching the detective mimic his eating habits. Seeing Yusuke eat that way was very strange and a tad bit humorous if only for the absurdity of it. He was purely delighted at Yusuke's praise towards his mother and it seemed to make the already delicious lunch that much better.

One of the little octopi was caught between the smooth wooden sticks. "She always cooks more than enough. You are welcome to come home with me after school, if you'd like?" The ends of his chop sticks were held between his lips while he hummed a thoughtful note. He'd planned to go to the library, but it was brushed aside easily in favor of time with Yusuke.

"Mother won't return from work until eight. We would be home by ourselves for a while." A promise, or perhaps just a passing thought.

EDDE:
The food had quelled him by the time Kurama had answered, as it had had a nearly instant reaction, so the comment didn't bug him any for embarrassment sake. He watched Kurama pick up the little wiener, looking it over for some weird reason reminding him of the stupid little beast he'd shooed off earlier. He looked over his shoulder curiously, but was pulled back by the conversation.

"Yeah?" He honestly hadn't expected the invitation despite having said as much, but he smiled regardless. "Sounds fine. It'll be alright'n all?" For someone, especially a normal human, who could scare Kurama, Yusuke really didn't want to deal with being on the bad end of her.

Fox:
"It will," he assured before taking the final sushi roll for himself and withholding a happy hum. "She'll be happy." And she would be. The way his mother lit up when he'd brought the detective to see her in the hospital was still ingrained in his memory. Remembering it still brought a smile to his face.

The bento box was moved, placing it beside him and out of the way. Once more Kurama closed the space between them, brushing their arms together. The fox placed a soft kiss to Yusuke's cheek, light and teasing. Then another, this one settled on the corner of his mouth before pulling back slightly; enticing Yusuke to follow after him.

EDDE:
He liked the look the other teen got on his face when he thought about his mom, even if was a foreign concept to him. Or maybe it was because it was. Who knew. He certainly wasn't dwelling on it, simply enjoying it.

But there he went shifting gears again all of a sudden. This change though, was easy for him to keep up with. He didn't mind allowing the smile to cross his lips at the cute way in which Kurama lead into a kiss, easily falling into the lead and searching out his lips. He reached over, his hands finding familiar placing at the back of his head and curled around his hip. And as he caught up, he offered a nip to his lower lip much like the ones the redhead liked to dole out himself before molding against him.

A small thrill rolled through him as he realized suddenly that with Kurama feeling better he could hold him closer, and the hand at his hip slid around the small of his back to pull him in as he turned and pressed himself closer.

Fox:
A little sigh and shiver were the rewards for Yusuke's efforts. Kurama returned the nipping and suckled on the others upper lip, egging him to continue the short bites. Just like the detective he molded into the kiss, arms hanging loosely over the others shoulders. The fox laced his fingers together lazily and returned the kiss in a similar fashion. Slow, but meticulous.

Catching on, Kurama turned with the tug. It forced him to sit at a strange angle on the bench, but it allowed him to press flush against Yusuke. It flushed his cheeks a little, and the slumped hold he had around the detective's shoulders gradually grew stronger until Kurama could grasp the back of his shirt. His fingertips itched to cling into his back all over again, and this time he could pulled Yusuke as tight to him as he pleased.

So he did. Green fabric was bunched between his fingers as the fox toyed with Yusuke's lips through quick swipes of his tongue and sharply nipping teeth that continued to urge the detective to nip him harder.

EDDE:
He'd gotten quite desperate to be able to hold the redhead close, to be able to touch him properly earlier on. The thrill he received as the other teen pulled him closer as well was much stronger and sent a much heavier shiver through his body. His appreciation for the closeness, and play back, was given through a warm groan of the human name.

As he payed service to Kurama's lips in easy cadence with the teen's want, the hand at his hip drew up and unzipped the jacket the rest of the way, tugging the shirt up and out of the way to allow for his hand to smooth over the redhead's stomach with a light pressure that held a small semblance to how he's done so previously over the wounds. Though the touch was gentle, there was a needy heaviness about it as his touch spread and explored over newly healed skin he hadn't had the chance to play his hands over since he'd had to be far too delicate with it.

Fox:
Kurama tugged, pressing into the touch as his jacket was opened and calloused palms ran over his torso. The muscles twitched and a soft gasp was sucked in through his nose. The newly healed flesh was new and sensitive; but not in a bad way. Groaning to express his appreciation the fox dragged his fingertips over the green fabric over Yusuke's back and down his shoulders. With great dexterity the buttons were flicked through their loops.

"Yusuke," he breathed into their kiss, soft and sweet to see his reaction. His own hands slipped under the detective's shirt, tickling over defined abs, careful of the injured side to one more embrace him. Kurama pressed his nails into the other back and scratched along his spine just hard enough to be felt.

EDDE:
He felt like he was wracked with little tremors as the redhead touched over him, the strongest of which coming from the way he said his name. He liked that; a lot. He was quickly growing weary of their position, not liking the crimp it put in his ability to get closer, not to mention the awkward position was taking it's toll on him.

He shifted, the attention of his teeth, tongue, and lips making a delightful continuance as he cradled Kurama's head with his movement and kept him close in that way. He didn't pull away from the hold Kurama had on him either. Moving in front of the teen, he fitted the fox's legs between his thighs, his right leg sifting onto the bench for the support as he leaned down against him and pressed him back for a better angle at him. His left hand was put back to his lower back for the support of his own lean, right switching earlier position with left to tease its way under his shirt and play at his skin all over again.

He wasn't sitting in his lap, but hovering over him a bit, as his exploration grew a bit more daring, fingers dipping just under the fox's waistband, petting over the skin just underneath across the line of it. And he hummed out the redhead's human name through an appreciation of how his own was said, low and warm. Because he liked saying it, he liked hearing himself say it, and he liked the reaction it tended to garner from the redhead.

Fox:
He had no qualms with the shift in position, in fact it made it much easier to curl his arms around the teen's waist in a loose embrace. The fox was starting to make soft noises into the kiss, cute little moans that tickled his vocal chords. Scraping nails turned to petting fingers that mimicked Yusuke's; tracing along the waist band. However he continued, right hand slipping to cup over the detective's covered shaft while the left tugged at the button.

The fox pressed his thighs together and let out a soft moan, cheeks flushing as his own member began to form a very prominent bulge in maroon pants. His hips rolled unconsciously as that name was said in such a wonderful way and Kurama moaned audibly into their kiss before sucking the detective's tongue into his mouth and urging him to lick the ridges along the roof of his mouth.

Zipper tugged down Kurama's hand slid inside and under the hidden boxer shorts to wrap long fingers around the turgid flesh. His strokes were firm and even, thumb rubbing expertly over the head as their tongues danced.

And then the bell rang. During their time together he'd lost track of time! "Forgive me, Yusuke," he offered in solace before nimbly escaping the detective's hold. He was quick in gathering his things and straightening out his clothes. His twitching erection would be unpleasant, but hidden well enough that he would be fine until he could will it away. "I will meet you at the gate when school has finished!" He called, running to the stairs and disappearing.

EDDE:
He'd been curious as to whether the redhead would be antsy with that particular change in the kiss that he seemed to like so much. And he'd avoided it purely for that curiosity, finding himself perfectly thrilled when the fox moved for it for himself. He complied immediately, happy to offer the thrill right back in return and playing at different pressure of his tongue as he had before.

A low, elongated moan bubbled in his chest, the air escaping through his nose as nimble fingers and hands played over him so perfectly it had him pressing closer. Only, just as he moved to dip his own fingers lower the fox was wriggling free and out from under him. He turned with the movement, eyes wide as he plopped onto the bench and could really only stare as he watched him grab his things and run off.

He bubbled up at the fleeing fox, frustration on more than one front boiling through him and burning his face. "Not cool, Kurama!" It was hollered at the closing door as he fixed his pants and tucked his shirt back in, grumbling to himself. Still, after a few moment he couldn't help but chuckle at the weird way in which the name he was growing less used to by the moment was the one that had come out.

----

Yusuke was leaning against the high wall near the gate, still inside the grounds, a few minutes before class was out. Some guy he couldn't care two shits about came to open the gate. While he didn't care much about him, he was more than happy with the awkward way in which he was looked at for being inside the gate. "Yo," he chuckled out.

The fun little scene didn't last long as he was bitched out not a few moments later and forced to cross to the outside until school ended. Annoyance radiated off him for the few moments the guy stuck around. Though he didn't step back inside once the guy left, instead hopping up onto the wall through a heavy boredom he'd been feeling the rest of the day while waiting around for Kurama.

He sat up there, his leg crossed over the other through a connection of his knee and ankle as he leaned over Puu and started screwing with him again. It was something he'd moved to doing several times, poking, prodding, pinching and stretching, as it had really been all that he had to entertain himself with through various moment long naps and just lying or sitting around. Same shit, different day. Then again, at least today he'd been waiting for something other than just the end of the school day, and that had him chuckling in that way of his, in a good mood almost instantly as he reminded himself he'd be seeing the redhead again. Of course, that didn't stop him from screwing around with the poor squirming thing in his hands.

Fox:
It was difficult to focus the rest of the day. His teachers became worried when they found him staring at the window or absently down as his textbooks. "I'm fine, please don't worry," he assured them all and accepted the gentle scolding that was more concerned than angry. Shuichi was a model student after all, if he was zoning out then it must be something very important. However, the thoughts on his mind were never considered by the professors.

Gazing out the window the fox bit lightly on the tip of his pinkie finger. It had been cruel to abandon Yusuke twice and he couldn't help pondering over ways to apologize properly. They did have a few hours alone at home, and that should be plenty of time. "Shuichi!" The red head jumped a little and once more turned his attention to the front of the class. "Please try to pay attention."

When the bell rang Shuichi was as calm as ever, and yet there was hasty way to his movements to leave the school quicker than normal. No one noticed.

Leaving the front doors, he saw a break in the wave of leaving students as they steered as far away from Yusuke as they could while still exiting through the gate. Kurama let out a sigh that came with a slight curve of his lips whilst walking towards the delinquent. "Perhaps some company will quell your boredom?" He questioned up at him, watching the teen torment the poor spirit beast.

EDDE:
Yusuke was ignoring the movement around him in lieu of the torment he was placing on the little beast. Despite how mean he was being, he was still pretty gentle about it. He smiled as the redhead popped up, tucking Puu under his arm, tossing the hand holding his briefcase over his shoulder, and hopping down from the wall easily.

"Yeah, maybe. This stupid thing hasn't been much help," he teased lightly, chuckling it out cheekily as he squeezed Puu in his grasp just a little. Puu, of course, had its eyes on Kurama, as it seemed to as soon as the fox came around. He tilted his head down at the little beast before turning his attention back up on the other teen, still smiling for him. "We going? This place is almost as bad as my school. I'm all for getting the Hell outta here." The looks he was getting from passing students hadn't helped when he'd had the mind to pay attention to them, but his mood wasn't in the least bit sour. At least, not anymore.

Fox:
Emerald eyes began to shine as they followed the detective hopping off the wall, and gave a soft, amused breath at the look he was getting from the spirit beast. "Yes, let's depart," he agreed with a slight nod.

As they turned the corner the majority of students found excuses to take different routes home, and it wasn't long before the two of them were along on the sidewalk. "Ah, here," the fox turned to scoop Puu up into his free arm and rested him against his chest. His forearm held the beast's torso to his body, while Puu's feet were left to dangle in the air. "I hope you will visit me at school again. I enjoyed sharing my lunch with you," he admitted.

EDDE:
Puu seemed perfectly happy with this as it simply went to nuzzling at Kurama, this time not purely for wanting to be close to him, but most likely in thanks of pulling him away from his abuser.

"Feh. Things keep going the way they are and I'll probably be around a lot more than you want me to be." It was a partial tease, though he was perfectly serious about coming around more often. Despite how their time together had ended, it had been far more enjoyable than screwing around all day at his own school. Huffing a bit of a warm sigh, his attention turned on the redhead again and he watched the little beast cuddle at him.

His thoughts had shifted just slightly at the remembrance of the fox running off on him. The next sigh wasn't quite as peaceful sounding as the previous. "But you know, leaving me on the roof like that was so uncute." There was a light amusement across his face as he said as much, not seeming nearly as bothered by it as he probably should be.

Fox:
"Try not to terrorize my classmates too much," he teased back. Perhaps having Yusuke at his school all the time would become annoying, but even then, he would enjoy the detective's company.

Kurama looked up and to the side and stuck out the tip of his tongue in an expression that was quickly becoming a habit around Yusuke. "I have thought about my repentance; though, if you plan to call it 'cute' then I may reconsider." He sighed, disappointed. "We will just have to spend our time alone in another way."

EDDE:
"All I can say is I'll leave them alone if they leave me alone." A smirk crossed his face. "And I'm sure you already saw that most of them already took the hint."

His head tilted a bit at talk of repentance. ""C'mon Shuichi. I don't plan on calling anything you do cute. It just happens." He chuckled, waving off the thought of it. He was incredibly curious what Kurama might be bothered by him calling cute, and wondered how cute it had to be for that. He liked it when Kurama was cute though, so he nodded the thought out. He stepped over, walking much closer beside him through a poorly laid out movement of nonchalance, it being made not for the attempt at finding out what was on his mind, but purely in a want of being closer to him. "If you tell me what it is, I can let you now if I'd think it was cute," he offered in attempt to quell his curiosity over it.

Fox:
"Saying such things are lowering your chances," he warned, watching Yusuke mull something over. The offer was met with a sigh that gradually became a chuckle. "Something I enjoy very much," he purred, forest eyes warm as a playful smile took his lips. "And yet refuse to indulge in," the fox leaned over to press a quick kiss to Yusuke's cheek. "I'm sure you will find it cute. Hold your tongue and I may let you see it."

EDDE:
He chuckled softly, figuring as much about his chances, but it wasn't like he as going to lie about it. His head tilted just the slightest bit more as those curious eyes roamed the redhead's. "Really?" He asked this in a tone that matched the look he was giving him. He wanted to know what it might be, considering the lead in, and the look that drew over the other teen's face as he said as much.

His eyes drifted away quickly through the peck to his cheek as a bit of pink dusted his cheeks. He was easily annoyed with his reaction to that particular sentiment, but he couldn't really help that embarrassment. "I can probably do that." It was something that could be left up to debate, but he was sure as Hell willing to try.

Fox:
To be embarrassed by such a small show of affection... Yusuke really was cute, and it just made him want to see just how brightly he could get the detective to blush. Another time perhaps. He had other things planned. His response was a simple nod of his head as they turned the corner.

Shuichi's home was nice; a little small but quaint and perfect for the two of them. There had been talk of moving in with the man his mother was seeing, but for the moment this small little house was more than enough. Window potters lined the front windows of the house, wisteria flowers hanging from them in bright purple curtains while a large cherry tree grew in the front yard. A welcome mat greeted them as Kurama took out his keys to let them inside.

"Please leave your shoes by the door, Yusuke; and you may set you bag down wherever you would like." His own shoes were toed off before he stepped onto the plush carpet. Playful eyes were turned to the other teen as he added. "A good host would offer a tour of the house."

EDDE:
He looked over Kurama's house. He hadn't been thinking about what to expect really, but honestly the quaint little place just really seemed to match up to a picture that was slowly being painted of the redhead's normal everyday life. It seemed like it was probably pretty nice.

He copied the movement of removing his shoes, setting his briefcase down against the wall and out of the way in the entry way. He didn't really care where it went, but that seemed like an easy place to keep track of. His chuckle was the kind that nearly defined him as he pulled up to the other teen and wrapped his arms around him from behind, pulling himself close in the process. He reached up and pulled his hair over his shoulder in order to give himself access to peck at his neck. "Yea? Why not start with your room?"

Fox:
Kurama stiffened just a bit as arms wrapped around him from behind. Just as it did when the detective called him Shuichi during their activities, the current environment sent a quiver down his spine. To do something like this in his home, to be called Shuichi while doing it. His breath came out in a slow stutter that ended with a little puff when a kiss was placed so lightly on his neck.

Again, he was bombarded with how new this felt, innocent and virgin. It bubbled something he didn't understand; a twinge of fear mixed with a wave of something good. "Yes," he agreed with a slight nod. The fox swallowed before tugging himself free of Yusuke's hold with a great deal of reluctance. "Stay," he told Puu after setting him on a chair, his bag resting beside it.

Kurama led the way upstairs, feeling his heart pound in a giddy desire and nervous excitement all the way to his room. He was sure to lock the door, just in case. But when he turned to look at Yusuke he... forgot. Everything, how to start, how to get to where he wanted to go, and he stood there with a look the was better suited for Yusuke. He let out an airy grunt at his own sudden lapse that left him looking quite the fool. An expression that perhaps belonged only to Shuichi.

EDDE:
Yusuke's grip on him hadn't been tight enough to hold him there in the first place, allowing it to slide away as the redhead moved. He peeked down at the little creature as it set still, noticing it wasn't pouting in the least this time, even as they walked off.

Following the teen up the stairs gave for a soft upturn of his lips, the emotions radiating off the other seemed more to be bouncing between the two. As they got to his room, there was a quick look around purely for the foreign area before his eyes settled on his friend. He had to stare for a few moments as he watched the look on Kurama's face. And the light smile grew further into the more devious nature that tended to fit his face so well, as he simply couldn't help himself in asking, "So is this the part where I'm not supposed to say you're cute? Cause I gotta tell ya, Shuichi, I think that might be the cutest look I've seen on you so far."

Fox:
A stripe of red crossed over the bridge of his nose, the words pulling him from his lost train of thought. "I will give you a pass on that one," he answered, the confused look returning to the sensual fox. The look was the same, but his eyes were a little softer. A quiet chuckle and Kurama stepped forward with his usual confident stride to press the palm of his hand to Yusuke's chest.

"Sit," he ordered. He'd responded to 'speak' well enough earlier. Yusuke was gently but insistently guided back until the back of his knees hit the mattress; and as the detective fell on to it, Kurama knelt down beside it. Emerald eyes gazed up through the red curtain of his bangs, and the fox nuzzled against the others inner thigh.

Patience was usually a strong point of the fox thief, but he skipped the foreplay of removing the jacket and shirt. Instead, he placed open mouth kisses up the inside of his left thigh and brushed his lips over the zipper to kiss down the right.

EDDE:
Luckyyyy. Considering the question had fallen from him through the look practically on impulse, it really would have sucked not to get to find out what the human in front of him was planning on doing. He blinked a bit as he was told to sit, easily reminded of the conversation they'd had on the roof, and how the other had reacted to him then. Still, he was pressed back, and he was in no form to fight against the feeling.

A soft chuckle rolled past his lips as he lost his footing when the bed came up abruptly behind him, plopping him onto it easily for the slight shock to the back of his legs. His hands landed on the spread while that curious lilt drew into his eyes. As he looked down on the look he was being given, his legs shifting a bit in opening purely out of reaction as he was nuzzled at, a bit of a tinge tracing over his face. He didn't really have words for the new treatment that was a bit odd, and yet thrilling in its own way.

Fox:
He continued the light nuzzles, hands resting on Yusuke's knees and running in over his thighs. Kurama turned his eyes to focus on the task he'd settled himself with, pressing more softly sucking kisses over the fabric covering the hidden bulge. A soft sigh and his eyes closed, nose twitching just a bit as he took in the musky scent that sent a thrill down his spine.

Kurama's tongue slipped out to run the tip along the zipper and flicking over the fasten. "Did you finish on your own after I left?" He questioned in an almost dreamy sigh. Taking the fabric between his teeth the fox tugged and pushed with his tongue to pop open the button of his pants. "Or did you wait for me?" This time the red head looked up with heavy lidded eyes and a pretty flush as he took the zipper between his teeth and pulling it down a little way before waiting for an answer.

EDDE:
A heavily shuttered breath passed his lips as a heat that ran a bit rampant through him brought him back to life far too easily with the attention he was getting. He tensed, fingers curling against the fabric of the bed as that tongue darted out and over his zipper. And a soft groan pulled past his lips as his pants were opened with tongue and teeth. Cute wasn't a word he could use for the action being taken against him currently, and it was tightening him up in a new and exciting way just as well, if not better, than the new things he and Kurama had done previously.

The thought hadn't managed to cross his mind to take care of himself after Kurama had left. He wasn't sure if it was because he'd been too busy pouting over the sudden, speedy departure, or what, but the heat in his face grew a bit more heavily as he answered, softened eyes wanting to turn away for the embarrassment that was leaking through, but being stuck on the captivating look he was receiving from between his thighs.

"I didn't..." Why was it so hard to say it like he'd been about to? He managed to break eye contact just long enough to get over a sharp upheaval of embarrassment that he didn't feel should hit him so hard through the attempt of telling him, and answer through a bit of a mumble, "I waited," before being able to peer back down on him.

Fox:
A heavy throb between his legs and Kurama sighed softly through his nose. The confession sending butterfly wings of heat across his whole being, so he pulled the zipper down the rest of the way. "I did as well," he assured, hot breath billowing over the open fly. His nose twitched again and the fox touched the tip of it to the bulge to take in the stronger scent of musk and arousal. It pulled a soft sound from his lips and he wasn't willing to play any longer.

Previously stagnant fingers tugged at the clothes to pull them down just enough to let his prize bounce free. The tip of his tongue flicked over the head while the base was held steady by his right hand. "Yusuke." The name was whispered as Kurama pressed his cheek to the exposed flesh to nuzzle against it adoringly. "Your scent is intoxicating."

EDDE:
The assurance forced a bit of a curl in his form for just a moment as his hips gave a bit of a rolling twitch for the breath that only added to it. His right hand detangled from the bed spread and reached out to push at the teen's bangs and brush back over his hair, a warm groan posed for the momentary relief the fabric pulled against the pooling heat in his groin.

And it was low, and easily more appreciative for the contact and words that followed, a heavy jump at his insides indicated by the matching movement of the swollen member. His fingers curling a bit, this time in red tresses, as his petting continued. Even as he thought the redhead had made him speechless, an impulsive bubbling of words blabbered in a hot, humid tone rang from him. "You're not cute, Shuichi. You're sexy as Hell." Applying the single word to the lot of things Kurama was had been much easier previously, and even as this was the second time he was being told as much, the enticing words had brought out the small confession from him.

Fox:
Crimson strands were pushed back, and Kurama took advantage of the detective's new view to open his mouth and lave the flat of his tongue from base to tip of the exposed length. His lips brushed against the head, his eyes fluttering, and a sweet gasp was pulled in. Yusuke thought Shuichi was... sexy. Shuichi. That too feminine moan was muffled, the fox taking the head into his mouth and forming a strong seal with his lips.

He was panting softly through his nose, knees squeezing together in a reflexive attempt at relief. His own denied arousal pressed unpleasantly against his zipper, and he distracted himself from it by starting a firm suction. Kurama bobbed his head slowly, cheeks hollowing with every upward stroke while his tongue swirled with expert skill.

EDDE:
Another shuttered breath as he watched the redhead's continuance, a sharp twitch taking to him over the perfect view he had as that tongue played over him. "Ungh..." He curled all over again as he was sucked in. He was straining against the bit of pain both the position in leaning a bit more over the fox and the heavy huffs of air were pulling through his ribs, but it was just enough to keep him a bit sobered from the experience.

He pulled his hand away from red locks quickly for a lack of wanting to repeat what he'd done to him the last time the fox had done this for him. It landed on instead on the redhead's arm through a short stop in movement as he began bobbling his head. Soft moans rolled from his lips as his grip on the fabric in each hand tightened and that timid look fell about him through a steady loss of that sobriety as the teen worked at him.

Fox:
With more and more vigor the fox devoured his friend, letting the head brush against the back of his throat every so often. While he wanted to continue staring up his eyes fluttered shut and moans vibrated his tongue and escaped through his nose. Kurama's hips were rocking against his will as his own desire bubbled towards boiling.

"Mnn...ngh." His moans were echoed with wet sucking that he eagerly continued until he felt the detective tense. Kurama pulled back, the head leaving his lips with an audible 'pop' and replacing the lost pleasure with a firmly stroking hand. Panting he aimed it towards his face and opened his eyes to look up once more.

He was burning, every nerve along his skin was singing with it. Something I enjoy very much, but refuse to indulge in. "Cum on me, Yusuke," the fox gasped.

EDDE:
Again, he couldn't pull his attention from the captivating display that was played out before him. And as he watched that refined mouth consume him, low noises bled from his chest through a rapid frequency, changing in pitch each time that pressure formed against his head, and in length for the tormenting vibration of the redhead's voice.

And then he was pulling away just as he was right at the brink of it all, and it had him gasping sharply for air even as fingers and palm coiled around him and returned the friction he was desperately craving. Once more, dignified lips surprised him in a perfectly undignified way, and the nature of it was absolutely delectable. The feeling, and sight of it, gave for a vivacious moan to explode from his lungs as his body complied with the delicious directive.

Fox:
Hot. Kurama opened his mouth to catch a little on his tongue, eyes shutting to protect them as the thick spurts covered his face. Pearly streaks clung to his cheeks and across his nose, painting his lips and sticking in the soft red locks. He found himself drowning in the detective's scent and taste. The fox swallowed to clear his mouth and opened his eyes slowly.

Emerald green was watery and needy, and Kurama's hips continued to rock. The protruding bulge now soaked around the dripping head. "Yusuke," he breathed in a desperate plea.

EDDE:
Yusuke lost his breath in the form of a warm groan as he watched the other boy allow himself to be covered in the warm, sticky substance, a heavy shroud of color tinging his face. The way his name was said only clenched the feeling, and he lacked the capacity not to follow through, tucking himself back into his pants and grabbing the redhead's shoulders to push him back as he slid from the bed. His grasp firm, he slid around and turned the teen, pressing his back against the side of the bed and taking into account all of the things he knew he liked.

The fingers of his left hand slid down Shuichi's right arm and took tender hold on wrist, lifting and pressing it into the side of the bed as he had with his shoulders, only he kept the pressure and played his thumb over the inside of it as he trapped it in place. His right drew up and brushed over pretty pink lips as he took a moment to survey the pretty mess he'd made out of him. "Hnn, Shuichi," he started through a warm moan. "I love that look on you."

That heavy heat returned to his facial features over what he had to say, not having expected the comment himself. And he couldn't help but chuckle lightly at himself as he leaned in and locked lips with the redhead, delving his tongue past his lips after licking over them. He wasn't thinking; utterly lost in the euphoric feeling still teeming through his body. If he'd had the capacity to think, he might have found a moment to take in what he was doing. That moment might have allowed him just a bit of rejection at taking his own taste on through the lewd act. But he couldn't take that moment right now. So instead, a pleasant shiver rolled through him as he tasted himself on the other, quickly lidded eyes rolling over his features all over again as he paid respect to that wonderful feeling singing through his nerves by rolling his tongue over the roof of his partner's mouth in that way that he seemed to enjoy so much.

His now free hand drew away from the light hold it had taken over the teen's cheek and jaw through the kiss, tugging down and running a delightful pressure down his body on his way to the prize he was aiming for, thumb flicking over his nipple in a way he knew could be much better without the uniform jacket in the way, but he wasn't focused on that. His hand continued down and tugged away the close of his pants with the skill of a fog free mind. Without hesitation his hand was dipping into the confines of the teen's pants and boxer briefs and circling around his cock with a pleasant pressure, and while the rest of his movements had been a bit swift, his attention there was steady and precise.

A warm hum permeated his chest as the redhead throbbed in his hand, taking a moment to contemplate the pulse points he had a pressure against and a feel for under the various touches. Then he lent a tentative stroking as he pressed himself closer to the other boy, slicking his palm over his head in the same way he'd figured out before through the heavy movement of his wrist.

Fox:
Kurama was placid under the detective's guidance, shifting back then turning until his back was pressed up against the bed. His breath was heavy and his face bright pink under the white goo that dripped down his cheeks. Absently, his tongue swiped over his upper lip to capture some as it dribbled down. He glanced over briefly as his hand was lifted and held loosely beside his head and groaned at the petting. Green returned to Yusuke, half lidded and dewy as his lips parted to run his tongue over the offered thumb. Those pretty lips wrapped around it, suckling and rolling his tongue in a way that mimicked his previous activities. The words had him biting down lightly on Yusuke's thumb as they sent a sharp jolt straight to his groin.

The thumb was happily released in favor of Yusuke's lips. He moaned, unabashed into their kiss, his free hand reaching out to grasp at the detective's shoulder in a desperate need to cling. Especially when Yusuke tickled his mouth so perfectly, he whined through his nose. Free of injuries Kurama was able to arch into the exploring hand, grunting with a little thrust of his hips as the sensitive bud was toyed with through his clothing.

Kurama broke the kiss, his head tilting back against his will as a high-pitched moan made its way over his vocal cords. The pressure on his burning length was devastatingly good and Yusuke's hand was very quickly covered in precum, making each stroke that much better. "Yusuke no I- Ah~!" His toes were tightly curling and the hand against the bed bent back enough to grasp the sheets tightly, while the other twisted in the detective's jacket.

Yusuke was getting very good at this very quickly, the well-timed palm over his head very nearly toppled him over the edge but held it back with another whine. His legs pressed tightly together of their own accord, and he wondered... fantasized about Yusuke's hand dipping lower, pressing in and stretching. He'd be good at it too, the perfect blend of gentle and brutal and Kurama let out a heated moan of Yusuke's name.

EDDE:
A low groan left the detective's lip as he got a good eye full of the other teen's reaction to his touches, shuddering lightly as he drank in the sight eagerly. He'd forgotten that he'd resolved to see the redhead's faces until it was too late in the field. And the last time he'd been too worried about the injuries he'd sustained; and focused on not making them worse, to try and force the point.

He didn't have an excuse for having forgotten this time, especially since he'd been so intent on the sweet sight of him even through the closeness of their kiss. He was lucky this time as Kurama pulled away from his lips, mainly for the position he'd chosen for him against the bed. There wasn't much in terms of option for hiding. And here he'd thought he liked the look of him before just for the mess on his face. That cleared up quickly as even the motion of his body forced a soft huff of air from his chest.

Sexy was definitely still the word that should have been chosen for that particular sight, but he realized as he thought it that Kurama was finished doing the thing he didn't want to be called cute for, and while it didn't draw across his face, that devious nature of his flared free. He leaned in just a bit as his stroking managed to become even more magnanimous than it had been previously. "Oh Shuichi," he moaned out warmly, purposefully. "You're so cute."

Fox:
He was wound up so tight his grips turned white knuckled in his quickly losing battle. Yusuke's pant and the generous strokes had his back arching and his mouth opening an inch. Shuichi. "Hah!" The fox barely heard the following phrase as he humped his hips up and air exploded from his throat in a cry of the detective's name. Kurama was quickly covering the others hand and soiling his clothes with heavy spurts of cum; and he was cumming so hard.

His hips jerked and the fox yanked on both Yusuke's jacket and the sheets. The detective was forced against him as the sheets popped from their respective places. White fabric fell over them, shrouding them in shade and the fox really didn't care at the moment. Kurama was near limp against the bed, enjoying the fluffy after glow with panting breath and gazing at Yusuke with nearly hidden eyes.

EDDE:
His own features softened as the redhead fell apart in his grasp, another look that tended to fit his face far too well, as he stared. He seemed, and was, utterly floored by the performance, the movement of that considerate hand pumping as much of it out of him as it could as the fox messed himself.

A light noise of surprise flew from his chest at the sudden yank, a confusion rolling through him and forcing him to divert his eyes as the sheet came down on him due to the intense focus he'd had on the beautiful teen. Though as Kurama and the sheets settled some, the sly look that crossed his face so often caught in his features as he chuckled warmly and teased. His grasp at Kurama's wrist loosened and his hand slid slowly from his pants, fingertips trailing across the surrounded tender flesh all the way. "And here I was starting to think you didn't like it when I called you cute."

Fox:
He visibly shuddered as Yusuke pulled his hands away. He slumped and was perfectly content to ride out this relaxed bliss. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be. The foggy look turned to one of exasperation that was enhanced by the sigh that left his lips. "It should be no surprise you would ruin the moment Yusuke," he scolded lightly while reaching out with his right arm to wrap them both around the detective's neck. "I was enjoying that."

With a light huff of a laugh he pulled Yusuke close again to press their lips together. It was lazy and sloppy, just to be close again; and perhaps fall back into a hazy bubble for just a little longer.

EDDE:
The chuckle from the fox's annoyance was much softer the second time around as a smile drew across his lips. So many responses came to mind it was ridiculous, but he was far more interested in the lips that were closing in on his own. It had served as a good way to shut him up previously as well.

A lively little thrill rolled through him at the way they connected. The hand that had remained clear of his release trailed up and caught him at the jaw and cheek, and aided in fitting them together better.

Fox:
And he fell again into a few moments of floating bliss aided by Yusuke's kiss. It lasted a while, Kurama leaning with the guiding touch and rolling their lips together. When he pulled back it was with a soft pant for air. Reaching out the fox pushed away the sheets and realized with no small amount of embarrassment that he'd pulled apart the bed spread in response to a simple hand job. How in the three worlds could Yusuke do this to him?

Something caught his eye and the fox let is lip curl in displeasure. Holding the right fore lock in his hand Kurama lifted it to get a better view of the semen staining it. "To be quite clear Yusuke, I won't be doing that again." The hair was dropped, and he looked at the detective.

EDDE:
Yusuke was happy to keep the kiss together, finding a warmth in it to bask in as he did so. When Kurama pulled back, his own eyes trailed up to the tented cover over them through a warm sigh. The distraction had him chuckling lightly to himself as he noticed the same thing the redhead had. And, of course, he couldn't help but find it cute that he'd torn apart the pristine made bed over little more than a hand job.

Yusuke blinked a bit as his attention drew to the held-up hair and he looked it over. A coy smile slid across his lips as he looked him over before his focus landed on deep green pools. "That's too bad. Since it's something we both like."

Fox:
The fox let out a warm hum at the coy smile. He lifted a hand up and swiped away some of the mess on his cheek and the curl in his lips returned. It had dried by now and was no longer gooey, but now a crusty mess that had an old smell. "Unfortunately for us both Yusuke," he answered, rubbing his middle finger and thumb together to scatter the flakes. "The cleanup is hardly worth it." Speaking of...

Kurama shifted a little, suddenly very aware of the mess covering not just his face but soaking into his pants and spread over his stomach. He let out a huff, because Yusuke was perfectly clean.

EDDE:
Well, Yusuke was mostly clean. And he chimed in. "Come on, how hard could it be?" The smile on his face said he expected far too much as he reached out and grabbed the fallen sheet, not taking the mess on his own hand into account. He leaned forward and attempted to wipe his face with it.

Pulling back pretty quickly, he peered from Kurama's face to the sheet in his hand, landing a particularly moody look on it. "Well that didn't work."

Fox:
"Wait, Yus-- Mph..." Kurama turned his head, but it did little good. The sheet was pressed to his cheek to smear something wet and slick across it. A big, gooey splotch was left on his face when Yusuke pulled his hand back, and the fox settled him with a very displeased expression. "Clearly," he agreed, deadpan. Perhaps it was lingering tendrils of ecstasy, or the face Yusuke was making that he found quite cute, but his expression softened, and he let out a light laugh.

With a little reluctance the fox pulled himself up off of the floor. "A shower will, however," the fox assured, stepping to the side for more room to remove and step out of his pants and underwear. He tried not to blush at the mess he'd made. "Would you mind washing up?"

EDDE:
He blinked a bit at the laugh, offering a bit of a pout toward it as his heat shrouded over his face. "It's not funny." Okay, maybe it was a little funny, but that wasn't the point.

His head tilted as Kurama stood. Smirking as a shower was brought up, he followed suit. His mind was still far off from cleaning, stuck in their previous actions as he shifted behind the fox. He pulled his hair to the side with his clean hand and repeated himself in pressing his lips to Kurama's neck. "I'd rather get the chance to try again with you." He'd certainly gotten over his embarrassment of the screw up quite quickly.

Fox:
He paused as a hand shifted his hair to the side and he couldn't stop the slight tilt of his head for that soft kiss. How easy it would be to fall into it, how easy it would be to take control of it, and how hard it was to pull away from it. "No," he answered simply and amused. "The laundry room is down the stairs and to the right." Kurama smiled at the detective before heading out of his room and towards the bathroom.

EDDE:
He bubbled up instantly at the blatant refusal, pouting as the fox pulled away and walked off. He reached after him and let off an annoyed drone after him. "Wait, I could do both."

Sighing for the loss, he collected the materials that needed to be cleaned, using the sheet to clean his hand as good as it was gonna get that way as he grumbled his way through the collection about the 'stupid mess', 'stupid pants', and 'stupid sheets'. And he continued grumbling his way down the hallway about the 'stupid laundry' as he took the fox's direction toward the room he needed to be.

He paused just before he got there as he heard the water turn on overhead. He whined to himself, falling prey to thoughts of the fox in the shower. Thoughts that were incredibly vivid given that he'd actually seen the redhead in the shower before. Groaning lightly, he had a bright moment, realizing that if he hurried with the laundry, he might still catch the fox in there.

With a devious little chuckle, he tossed the laundry into the machine. He managed to pour in the soap properly, but didn't think to check the cycle, as his mind was elsewhere. Closing the door and turning it on, he made his way back upstairs, happy as a clam in his preparedness of interrupting the teen's washing.

Fox:
With the lights flipped on and the door shut Kurama pulled his jacket over his shoulders to let it pool on the floor. The undershirt joined it soon after, and he absently wondered if he should have left them with Yusuke to wash as well. Though soon after he realized if he'd done that, he may not have been able to leave the room at all. He turned on the shower.

Kurama caught sight of himself in the mirror and paused. It was an almost foreign sight that had him blushing again, but he didn't look away. Just before the steam blocked his view the fox's attention was drawn to the little mark Yusuke had left behind on his neck. He touched it, then stepped into the tub to let the hot was wash away the drying mess. Kurama sighed softly, rubbing his face and soaking his hair under the spray.

Rinsing off didn't take long but the smell still lingered in his nose, and it would for hours. The thought had him licking his lower lip in a quick swipe before he filled his palm with shampoo and ran long fingers through the wet strands. Crimson painted down his spine to the lower back and suds from the gently worked in cleaner swirled down the drain. The long hair was pulled over his shoulder so he could work his fingers through the length of it with a soft hum.

EDDE:
Further devious chuckles were silenced, simply shaking his shoulders as he neared the bathroom. Stopping at the door, he finally decided to contemplate just how he would interrupt the other.

With another bright moment as his starter, and containing the snicker that wanted to form, he slipped the door open silently. He could see Kurama's silhouette through the curtain. As perfect as it had been the last time. He reached in, grabbing the redhead by the wrist as he tugged the curtain aside and leaned in, and pulled their lips together. Only the grasp at his wrist had his thumb rolling over the inside of it, and the seal he placed on their lips wasn't nearly as clumsy as it had been before for this reenactment.

Fox:
With Yusuke's energy hidden and Kurama's senses already clouded by the detective's scent he was left unaware of his arrival. The fox let out a soft, irritated sigh as his fingers ran through his forelock to cleanse only to have the substance cling stubbornly to the soft strands. A surprised 'ah!' left his lips as his wrist was snatched and the curtain was pulled away, and his lips were pressed warmly against Yusuke's while his free arm reached out to press his hand to the tiled wall and keep his balance.

Despite his earlier refusal Kurama didn't pull away, in fact he returned the kiss with vigor. His fingers curled loosely as the sensitive spot on his wrist was caressed and the fox pulled back from the kiss with a playful smile. "Care to join me, Yusuke?"

EDDE:
It was very similar. The surprised noise, the returned kiss, the feel of wet skin against his hand as it lowered to the fox's hip, and even how Kurama invited him in all over again. It had him reeling, with no room for complaint, even with the differences.

Because those differences made it better. That returned kiss was had a lot more energy behind it. The feel of the fox's skin under his touch, reminding him vividly of his state, lit a fire in him that was nowhere near his face. And this time, as Kurama invited him in with that smile, he took his time in dragging his eyes down and back up his body. A warm groan shuddered its way past his lips as that fire traveled into his eyes as he stared the redhead down. "Hell yea, I do."

Fox:
And in that moment the heated water switched into an icy cold. He preened for a split second before his casual smile graced his lips and green eyes settled on the detective with a dark glint. The held hand turned to grasp Yusuke's wrist instead and pull.

It was one continuous movement; Yusuke was pulled in just as Kurama stepped out, leaving him behind to pluck his towel from the rack. "Enjoy your shower, then," he stated simply, wiping himself dry and already leaving the bathroom to save his sheets from a terrible fate.

EDDE:
His head gave a bit of a tilt as he watched the redhead's reaction to the water curiously, blinking bit at the change in his eyes. A somewhat high pitched noise of surprise pulled past his lungs as he was tugged into the shower, completely caught off guard for it and stumbling into the tub.

"Shit-SHIT! IT'S COLD! Cold," he whined through a perfectly energetic little dance that ended in him screwing with the knobs frantically in attempt to turn it off. It took him more than a few moments to cut the water off, as he'd managed to turn it on full blast for either temperature, despite the fact that it got even a little colder at one point, before ever getting it down through the panicked attempt. An angry pout covered his features as a shiver caught him straight to the bone and he began peeling away his clothing, grumbling all over again about the 'stupid shower' and 'stupid cold water', s few 'stupid faucet's having been thrown into the mix earlier on as he'd been struggling with that.

Sighing lightly as he let each piece of clothing slop to the floor of the tub, he stepped out and grabbed a towel of his own and pulled it to his sopping wet hair to help remedy the dripping before drying off. He was still pouting as he pulled it away from his face enough to look down on his clothes to contemplate what he was going to do now.

Fox:
He found a sadistic pleasure in Yusuke's whines, and even stopped in the hallway to hear them all before continuing to the laundry room. The sheets were saved, and the washer drained before it was started again with cool water.

When he returned up the stairs his towel was tied loosely around his hips, and despite valiant efforts at drying his hair it still clung to his back and dripped water down the length of his spine. Kurama paused at the bathroom door to see a very wet, and very naked detective. With a light hum he let his eyes roam unabashedly, following water droplets as they trekked down his skin. "You may dry your clothes with mine if you'd like. Though I admit," he continued playfully. "I am reluctant to offer you replacements."

EDDE:
That pout, while it had softened some as he thought about wringing out his clothes to toss on the dryer, turned on the redhead as he noticed him. The towel pulled down to work a bit at the small hairs at the back of his head for a moment as he listened to him talk.

A smirk slithered across his face and sharpened eyes partially hidden by letdown bangs as he tugged the towel from around his neck to run it over his body. "Hey, don't think I'd have any problem walkin' around here naked, Pal." Closed fist landed on his hip as he said so, weighing the towel in the other, easily having no problem giving Kurama as much of a helping of the view as he liked.

Fox:
Kurama took in the view with an appreciative hum, eyes lingering here and there. He found even the spreading of purple bruising held a certain appeal as he traced the outline with a lazy gaze that rested between Yusuke's legs. He hadn't really been able to look at the detective before and the fox took advantage of the offering. "That is quite tempting," he admitted while stepping into the tiled room. "However, I would not want you to catch cold."

Leaning in he brushed his lips against Yusuke's cheek before he stood straight again. "I will find you something to wear."

EDDE:
He blinked a bit as Kurama drew closer, chuckling at the the concept. His own tone was playful, that bratty tilt flowing into it. "Well gee, I hadn't thought about that. Wouldn't wanna get sick. I might miss school."

The lips on his cheek left a heat there that spread across his face and forced his eyes up in another direction as his chin tilted down and away a bit, his attitude veering off with it. "Ch. Whatever."

Fox:
Such an expression was... "Cute," he said in a low chuckle before pressing his lips to the heated cheek once more. The fox touched his fingers across the others jaw line as he pulled away, mischief dancing in his eyes.

EDDE:
The heat grew heavy for both the word and the second peck to his cheek. The embarrassment it caused covered all areas and had him tugging the towel around his hips and tying it off as he offered a bit of a glare through that pout of his. "Don't go saying stupid stuff now," he complained.

When the redhead left, his attention turned back on the tub, the task at hand for those clothes being enough to put him back into a busy enough state that the pout disappeared for the replaced focus as he knelt at the tub and began wringing out his jacket. By the time he was done with it, the embarrassment was nearly forgotten, and the pout and blush had faded almost entirely as he moved on to his pants.

Fox:
Kurama seemed perfectly pleased with himself as he turned to leave Yusuke be. A little bit of retribution for the comment under the sheets. He dressed himself before finding clothes for his friend; a pair of jeans with a loose-fitting white tee shirt, but not before carefully stroking his hair dry. He looked very different with the red strands laying straight, a few clinging to his neck and cheek. It softened his features and made his eyes look a little wider.

Despite his efforts his hair still left wet spots over his shoulders and down his back. They would dry soon enough. For Yusuke he took a pair of draw string pants and a shirt similar to his own. They were folded in his arms as he made the trek back to the bathroom. "I have a gaming system downstairs, if you would like to play?" he offered.

EDDE:
Yusuke was just finishing the last of his clothes by the time Kurama got back, having recovered from the teasing as quickly as usual. He stood, turning on his heel toward the redhead as his head canted toward the offer with a smile. "Well, that's cool." He wasn't sure why he was a little surprised. "Sounds like fun." Then again, maybe he was.

Arms crossed, and his finger poked into the air as he leaned back a bit on his heel, that goofy grin of his passing over his features as he admitted lightly. "You know for some reason I don't think I had you pegged for the type of guy who likes video games." He chuckled mirthfully in that way of his at the thought. "Now that I think of it though, you're probably as good at them as you are at everything else, right?"

It had been a rhetorical question, as his finger turned down toward the clothing in the other teen's arms through that same look. "So, are those for me, or did you just bring 'em along to tease me more?"

Fox:
"Then what did you imagine I would like?" The fox questioned, placing the clothes on the counter and once again letting his eyes wander the exposed skin. "It's tempting to leave with them," he admitted with a little chuckle. "I will have to settle instead," Kurama started, hands sliding into his pockets while he stepped up to the detective. "On this." Once more the fox placed a kiss on his friend, this time to his forehead in a sweetly affectionate gesture.

"I will be downstairs when you are ready, Yusuke." With a playful smile the fox turned to leave Yusuke to dress. "Do try to clean up a little," he added, considering the water puddled on the floor. When he left it was with a hand combing through his hair in that familiar vanity, a few drops of water flying with the movement.

Downstairs the fox was plugging in the second controller to the system, then pressed the cartridge in. The logo for Mario Party flashed across the screen and Kurama returned to the kitchen but paused and laughed. "I am sorry Puu," he offered the spirit beast that had been left alone on the chair with his bag while holding out his arms in invitation. "Would you like something to eat? I'm afraid you cannot join us for dinner."

EDDE:
He went from grinning, it turning slightly nervous as he mentioned walking off with the clothes, right back to that same embarrassed pout he'd offered previously. He didn't back up at all this time, though he did whine a little again. "Come on. Cut it out already, woudja Shuichi." He distinctly lacked the ability to react eloquently toward this sort of teasing.

He sighed when the kitsune walked off, oddly effected a bit more heavily this time around as he toweled himself off and cleaned up the floor. Dressing quickly, he grabbed his clothing and tossed it in the dryer to wait for the load to be done to dry, peeking at Puu and Kurama on the way.

Puu jumped into the air and flew at Kurama happily the moment it was acknowledged, familiar coos chirping from it excitedly as it slowed to land on the fox's shoulder and nuzzle at his cheek. Yusuke tilted his head at the two of them as he made his entrance. "Y'know, I get the distinct feeling he'd be perfectly happy to stay with you over anyone else." He chuckled lightly through the observation that was easily an obvious one.

Fox:
A little laugh and a sweet looking smile softened the fox's features greatly, his hand lifting to cup against Puu. The nuzzling was returned for several seconds while out of sight, the affection dying down soon enough to a light petting and an eased expression. "I would not mind that," he admitted, rubbing the beast's ear between his thumb and forefinger "Though bringing him to school would be a bit of a risk."

"Would you like something to drink before we start?" He may have skipped the house tour, but he would still be a gracious host.

EDDE:
He smiled. "Actually, so far he's been pretty good in class, although I guess I haven't stuck around enough to really know for sure." He eyed the little beast as it leaned into the affections it was receiving happily, quietly aside from that weird almost purring noise it gave off. "But he listens to you better than anyone else, so it might be better." He offered and exuberant shrug. "It's not like it matters to me, anyway. Keiko's been taking care of him for the most part, so I haven't had to deal with him all that much, and that's just peachy."

Poking his hands into the pockets of the sweats he'd been loaned; the smile returned a bit lighter. "What do you have?"

Fox:
"I will consider it," he offered, chuckling at the cooing purrs coming from the animal on his shoulder. He found it positively adorable how much Yusuke's inner self enjoyed his touch. "To think you would be so quick to abandon yourself," he teased. "Well, let us see."

He looked casual. A simple state, but one the fox rarely took around the rest of their team. The usual tight posture and poise relaxed into a straight but relaxed demeanor as he pulled open the refrigerator to look inside. Kurama's right foot lifted, and he tapped the ball of it down on the tiled floor and his weight shifted a little to the side. "Ah, do you like root beer, Yusuke?" He questioned.

Reaching inside the cold box Kurama plucked out two glass bottles and held them out to be seen. The smile curling his lips reaching his eyes, making them warm.

EDDE:
"Hey now, I already told you me and that thing are nothing alike, so you can stop comparing us like that already." His tone was light despite the slightest edge that came into it for what was less of an annoyance than usual at the moment. He'd seen a lot of a different side, or rather sides, of Kurama lately, and right now he seemed pretty relaxed. The raven-haired boy didn't notice how much of an effect it had on his own state. Sure, he'd let his guard down more than a few times when they'd been alone on the boat, and of course there were the times they'd shared together since the fox had kissed him, but this seemed a little different somehow, and he had to admit he kind of liked it. Well, it was more than 'kind of'.

"Root beer's fine," he answered lightly. He was still watching the interaction between the small beast and the redhead, a soft huff of air passing his lips that displaced his bangs. Despite his denial, he could at least admit to himself that the want to be close with him was something they shared in liking, although noticing the comparison himself was even more annoying than having others do it for him. He blinked a bit as he noticed Kurama was looking his way, his attention drifting off on its own through the realization that he'd been staring more at the redhead than the thing that was attached to him. "So what game are we playing?"

Fox:
"Say it as many times as you wish. It won't change the truth." The door was shut with a slide of his foot before the fox pulled the bottle opener off of the door. He blinked curiously as Yusuke stared at him with a glazed overlook that pointed to wandering thoughts, then popped the caps off and tossed them in the trash. Kurama was just about to call the detective's name to get his attention when he seemed to snap out of it on his own.

The red head offered a bottle to the other teen before leading him back into the living room where Mario Party still covered the screen in all its pixelated glory. "A bit of warning. Don't play this with my mother," he offered. "She can get quite competitive." There was a slight cringe followed by light laughter as he recalled the memory.

Kurama took a seat on the floor, legs loosely crossed, and the bottle placed behind him on the coffee table after taking a sip. "The guest chooses first of course," he added, motioning to the controller beside him.

EDDE:
The movement in the corner of his eye had him looking back and accepting the soda. He followed Kurama and watched him sit down. He still couldn't quite grasp what seemed different, and it had been bugging him, but he grew bored of the thought process quickly enough and plopped down beside the redhead.

Taking a swig, the bottle was placed on the ground, encircled by his own crossed legs. He chuckled lightly at the display and laughter. "Oh yea? So, your mom plays video games with you? That's pretty cool."

Turning his attention to the screen, he pressed the button to go into the game, he pressed the button to start the four-player gaming mode. There was no way he was going to play a one-on-one game with Kurama. He was pretty sure he was going to get his ass handed to him anyway, as he honestly wasn't very good at most games despite how much he played them. "Let's see. I haven't played this game in a while, but I'm pretty sure I still remember the rules." He opted out of having them play, since they took forever, and he remembered getting bored of them less than halfway through and rapid firing the 'a' button to get through them quicker.

"Twenty-five turns should last a while... Two computer players versus us... No handicaps, cause then it's fair..." It seemed to take forever to get to the character selection, and that was something he remembered too. "Aaand I'm gonna go with DK. He's a total bad ass." He chuckled heartily as he selected his character. "Why don't you choose who we play against, Shuichi?"

Fox:
Shiori did her best to make time every day for Shuichi. This time was usually spent with a homemade dinner and tales of the day's events in recent years, but now and then he could pull her into something like a video game. It was always a delight to watch her light up with excitement.

As Yusuke worked the controls Kurama turned back to grasp his drink and take a long sip. "Perhaps you ought to give yourself a few of those handicaps," the fox teased lightly before picking up his controller. For himself he picked Yoshi. He didn't have much of a preference, but his mother had a fondness for the little green dino. As for the opponents, he chose Toad and Mario, the favorites of his prospective family.

The game was started, and each character jumped to hit dice and decide the order of play. Kurama watched calmly for several seconds before each die roll and pressing A at just the right moment to give him a six, five, six.

EDDE:
A chuckle was given as he was told he should give himself some of the handicaps, but the game was already started, and he didn't want to do that anyway, feeling like it was cheating. He pouted as he was put into the last position to roll. He would have rather been in the middle for the break between other turns that would make it seem like it wasn't taking too long.

He might not be incredibly good at the game, considering even for the mini-games that required that rapid fire button mashing he was so good at, he didn't quite get that there was a flow one had to pay attention to in order to make the character's actions quicker. And he barely fared as well as the computers for some of them. He also showed no attempt at skill in rolling his die, as he basically smacked the button as soon as it was his turn. But he was quite lucky, even when it came to things like this sometimes.

When he hit a three for his first roll and landed on a red spot, he whined out a "Come on, already?" Though his tune shifted quickly as a hidden block popped up over the monkey's head. He hadn't played this game too much, really. He found it boring mostly, though when he had played, it had been alone, and he didn't remember seeing this particular happening before.

"Heh heh, neat." His first roll, and he found a hidden coin cube that jumped him into first place with a gain of plenty of coins, and had a large smile plastered across his face.

While he didn't do too great at the mini-games for the first three turns, his luck was impeccable. As he passed the item shop, he was lucky enough to get the option for a magic lamp, which he bought. It brought his coins too low to use it just yet, but it would be there for him when he had enough. And on his third turn, another hidden cube popped up, and he got his first star.

Of course, he was easily pleased by the time this happened, liking that the game seemed to be working in his favor despite his short comings. Of course, luck wasn't enough to keep his streak going for long as the game progressed. Taking sips of his soda between the times that he needed to take over the controller had it disappearing pretty quickly without his notice.

Fox:
Kurama's turns went by fairly uneventfully, landing on or near his intended space the majority of the time due to the quick dexterity of his fingers. "What luck," he commented to the detective as a string of good fortune met him. However, Yoshi landed on an item spot and a minigame began. His own luck seemed to out rank Yusuke's this time as his reward for winning was a boo bell. With a delighted hum he turned to his friend. "Forgive me, Yusuke," he teased before the bell was used to snatch away the newly retrieved star.

From there his strategy changed. Perhaps it was not the best way to win, but it would be the most amusing. Kurama turned his efforts from gaining his own stars into simply stealing Yusuke's whenever the opportunity arose. Throughout the game the fox always apologized in a patronizing manner with each theft.

EDDE:
His spot in first place didn't last for long as the fox stole his star on the next turn after he'd won his mini-game. He gaped, leveling a pouty glare on the redhead. "That's not fair, Kurama," he whined shortly. "I just got that freakin' thing."

As the game went on, Kurama was totally destroying him. The pout he'd turned on him a few times became more angry as, when there were no stars to take from him, coins were taken from him. And it wasn't just Kurama that was going after him. At some points it seemed like the game was ganging up on him too with how often he was getting jacked. Sure, they went after Kurama, and even each other a few times, but they mainly went after him. He turned to the other teen again, growling a sharp complaint. "Dammit, Kurama! Lay off! I'm already in last place!"

And he had something perfectly to say to him each time Kurama went after him, finally coming up with, "Quit apologizing already! I know you're not really sorry about any of this," as he grew overly annoyed with the torment and patronizing tone of his apologies.

He gained a bit of luck shortly after that as he hit his own item mini-game and managed to get his own boo bell. He'd been lucky enough to land the easiest item game in the stupid game, and as he whacked the stupid Baby Bowser away and gained his prize from the chest, he chuckled giddily. After all, it was a good feeling to actually manage to win a thing he was trying for once.

When his next turn came around, he selected the item, and had just enough coins still on him to select the option to steal one of his stars back. That giddy tone rolled back into his chuckle as the Boo went after Yoshi... And the spray can within Kurama's inventory chased it off without getting a thing. "WHAT?! That's what that thing does?! Are you freakin' kidding me?" His head dropped to the side through a groaned-out sigh. It seemed even he had a grudge against himself with the ridiculous blunder. "Ugh, I suck so bad," he whined as a coughing Boo appeared on the screen to berate him for his mistake.

Fox:
Yusuke's sudden and continued loss of luck brought short bursts of laughter that was... comfortable... Human. Every time he was yelled at the fox moved a little closer, still paying close enough attention to continue his winning streak to remain in first place, or at least above Yusuke. "Perhaps if you took the time to read the definitions, you wouldn't make such falters."

Kurama chuckled softly, his controller ignored while the bots took their turns. "I found you to be quite skilled at that," he assured with a playful coo, his hand resting atop Yusuke's on the floor. With a soft sigh he leaned over and kissed him once more on the cheek.

EDDE:
He flipped off the complaining creature on the screen before hitting the button to make it go away, but what was perceived as a mean comment from Kurama caught his attention. "Hey! C'mon, don't agree with me." He growled out over the shot taken at his disposal, sounding the littlest bit amused by it despite his annoyance and the fact that he missed the innuendo within that 'agreement'. He didn't manage to notice how much closer Kurama was getting, even as he turned to bitch at him so often, until he felt the hand on his own. He blinked down at it, almost forgetting his offense quickly for the sudden distraction. His eyes turned back up on right after Kurama, which allowed for them to widen as he saw it coming this time.

He wasn't able to move away from it despite having noticed it in time. He preened as color painted his cheeks, shrinking and slinking away just a bit as his free hand moved to wipe at the heat the stupid little kiss left on his cheeks and his attention drew heavily to the screen to avoid any look he might be giving or being given.

And he mumbled, in the same exact way he had after their first kiss during the tournament, with one very specific difference, "Geez Shuichi, what'd you have to go'n do that for?" He got over it for the most part a moment later, despite the color still touching his cheeks, as his turn came up again. "We only have a few turns left. Let's just finish this stupid game before it pisses me off anymore," he added, still just a bit quietly.

Fox:
Slender fingers curled around Yusuke's as a smile pulled on his lips. It was warm and sweet, and his eyes sparkled with amusement and something else. "I do it because I enjoy it. You make very cute faces," he teased lightly, sliding closer still until their arms touched. The game was ignored in favor of the detective as another kiss was placed on his cheek, and another closer to his ear.

"There are three turns left, and I am ahead by seven stars. There isn't much point, is there?" he murmured. A teasing chuckle left his lips and breezed over Yusuke's ear as he added in a playful purr. "I can still smell you on me."

EDDE:
He wanted to, but he really couldn't complain too much about the other boy turning that particular word on him, but he did still put that same pout on him for it, only managing to bubble up further through a sharp heat against his face all over again. Except it wasn't just his face that was heating up this time around as, even despite the pout, the look was softer than it had been.

He conceded, realizing there really wasn't any point in going on, even if he did get a few bonus stars. Besides that, the redhead was a lot more interesting to him than the game, and more so for the last thing he said. A chuckle of his own flowed past his lips. It seemed like such an odd thing to say, and yet it managed to draw that heat into him further as the controller was abandoned in lieu of reaching up and cupping the fox under the chin, keeping his face in place as he turned his own and touched their lips together. He allowed them to stay that way for a moment or two before tugging away and offering a peck of his own to Kurama's cheek, looking perfectly pleased with himself as he did so.

Fox:
His eyes fluttered shut as his lips parted just slightly for the kiss. It was simple yet enjoyable, a different warmth coming to him as their lips met. He resisted the urge to follow and recapture the retreating lips with his own, but he abstained. The offered peck to his cheek was a very nice compensation though and the detective received a grateful look.

Kurama turned his head when the door opened and shut. He moved away from Yusuke a little, but left his hand on top of the detective's, fingers curled under his palm loosely. "Welcome home Mother," he offered calmly and yet with a clear joy that took over the fox whenever the woman was nearby. She looked a bit tired but only for a moment, in fact when the woman stepped into the living room to see her son with a friend the woman smiled brighter than sunshine. "Shuichi dear, you should have told me you were bringing a friend home." Her tone wasn't scolding in the least.

Shiori's soft, dark eyes fell on Yusuke and a sudden recognition came over her. "Oh!" She seemed perfectly delighted. "You came with Shuichi to the hospital. I'm glad to finally be able to thank you."

EDDE:
His eyes drifted away all over again for the look he received, the embarrassment purely being in his own fault for having done it in the first place. But his attention was grabbed by the door opening, his own fingers coiling around Kurama's purely on reflex at the loss of him pulling away. His attention was on the doorway of the living room, a somewhat thrown off by the small, though weird, upheaval of discomfort as the woman entered the room.

His eyes drew over to the fox for a moment for the sweet tone in his voice that he'd managed to catch when Kurama had been speaking about her before. That uneasiness settling just a little at it as his attention turned back on her. He blinked as he was recognized, the nervousness that remained showing off just slightly through the smile he offered back awkwardly. He was able to recognize the odd feeling had everything to do with Kurama. Though he wasn't sure if it had to do with how highly he spoke of the woman and acted around her, or for the fact that if he'd chosen to kiss him just a few moments later, or longer, she might have walked in on it.

"Yeah. Hi again, I guess." The last bit was muttered, though the rest of it wasn't all that loud either. His experience at the hospital had consisted of seeing the woman, and then helping to save her life. He was pretty sure she didn't know about that though, so, "Huh? Thank me?" He pointed at himself curiously, not that there was anyone else she could be talking about. "For what?" He gained that more natural, exuberant tone through his confusion over the simple concept that had apparently flown right over his head.

Fox:
Her expression was the definition of motherly, just the right amount of amusement at Yusuke's embarrassment mixed with a gentle softness. A look that had Kurama melting into a tamed kitten. She was the only creature alive who could manage to do such a thing. "That was a very difficult day," she started, looking first at her son then back at Yusuke. "It gives me peace knowing Shuichi had a friend with him."

Shiori laughed lightly as Kurama scratched the back of his head and looked off. "Besides, what woman wouldn't be happy to have such a handsome young man come to visit her while she's ill?" Shiori laughed again and reached out her hand, bending just a little to hold it out to the boy sitting on the floor. "You're welcome to call me Shiori, if you'd like; though Mrs. Minamino will work too."

The fox watched on as they conversed. His hand still resting on the detective's and giving no indication of letting go. If his mother noticed, she made no indication of it.

EDDE:
He blinked through the odd sensation the look she had barreled through him. It was possibly he looked like he'd been hit full force in the face with it for a quick moment before his attention turned fully to what she had to say about the hospital visit, and it made him think on what had happened, having forgotten about that part. The smile he turned on Kurama was easily sympathetic as he went over it in his mind. "Yea," he offered lightly as he looked him over. "We barely knew each other back then. We'd only just met, but I'm glad I could be there for him. I'm pretty sure it really woulda sucked if I hadn't been able to help him through it." Cause she'd have lost him, and I'da never gotten to know him.

His smile turned a bit odd as the woman referred to him in that way, the look alone asking, 'is she really talking about me right now?'. He looked up at the hand that was offered to him, caught off guard and distracted from the foreign moment but didn't change the face he had on. It was lucky that it was his free hand that was the one that needed to be extended, as he did so and took a light hold of hers and shook a bit as he stared at their hands in that same off way. "Uh, I'm Yusuke."

Fox:
Unconsciously, Kurama's fingers curled a little tighter around Yusuke's hand. This boy was the reason he and his mother were both alive, the act that started everything between them. That compassion in his eyes shifted to veiled amusement. The look on Yusuke's face was cuter than any other he'd been able to pull from him. Shiori noticed it as well, though nothing but warmth came from her as she shook Yusuke's hand. "Will you be staying for supper, Yusuke?"

"If that's alright Mother. I'm sorry I did not ask beforehand."

"Of course it's alright." Her hand left Yusuke's grip so she could stand straight again. "I'm making Tekkadon, but I could make you something else If you'd like Yusuke."

EDDE:
Yusuke looked between the two of them, able to gain a bit of comfort back as the woman drew away. Looking over the woman as she offered to make something else for him put a bit of a tilt to his head. This was really surreal. It wasn't like it was nothing but awkward, but that was sure as Hell how he felt. The woman was way to warm and caring.

Hell, he almost felt like some kind of horrible trap was about to be sprung out of it. Not that he could really be blamed, as aside from those he'd grown close to lately, most of the people in his life were pretty shitty. Still, he felt stupid for thinking as much, despite not really being able to help it.

He chuckled lightly, smiling more genuinely. "Nah. It's fine. I really liked the lunch you made Shuichi, so I'm not gonna complain about whatever you wanna make."

Fox:
"Oh?" A surprised look of her own brightened her features before a happy giggle left her lips. "I'm glad," and she truly was. Her son had been lonely for far too long. "I'll come get you once it's finished," she told them, turning to walk away but pausing mid-step. "Shuichi?" She questioned. Kurama looked up at her. "Ah, that's..."

Puu was plucked off of Kurama's shoulder and held in gentle hands. "When did you start to like this sort of thing?"

"No, Mother you misunderstand." The fox lifted up his hands in front of him in denial. "That belongs to Yusuke."

Shiori looked at it curiously and then back down at Yusuke. Her lips pursed together but it couldn't stop the light giggle. "Oh I'm sorry Yusuke," she said through the sweet sounding laughter. "But it looks a little bit like you."

EDDE:
Puu had been sitting still so quietly for so long Yusuke had all but forgotten he was there. Hell, he hadn't even noticed him when he'd planted his kisses on Kurama, which seemed a little weird since he was literally right there. He preened a bit as he was called out for owning the horribly cute little thing, landing an angry pout on the redhead despite it being true.

He bubbled up all over again and it turned on the woman as the comparison was made with the small beast. But he couldn't honestly get mad at her for it, could he? It wasn't like she knew. Everyone did keep telling him it had his hair. A sharp heat covered his face in a blanket as he turned his head away and that obstinate look of his drew about him. The tone didn't match as he all but mumbled, "Yeah, well I guess you could say it was made special for me, so that'd make sense..." It was way too hard to say so, after denying so vehemently that they had nothing in common what-so-ever.

Fox:
And Kurama seemed perfectly peachy, a knowing look crossing his features as Yusuke finally admitted to his connection with Puu. Even on such a small level. However his attention turned when Shiori handed the 'stuffed toy' to him, and he took it without a second thought. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone," she promised before taking her leave. "Be careful Yusuke, Shuichi likes to cheat."

Holding Puu in his hands Kurama looked up and to the side. "I prefer 'creative game play'."

EDDE:
He blinked through the promise, unable to help but chuckle lightly toward it. God this was way too weird. The lady was creepy sweet, but at the same time it was hard not to kind of just fall into it. His chuckle clipped off as he turned a suspicious look on the fox. As far as he knew you couldn't really cheat at Mario Party, but who knew. The thought of other games had his attention shifting though.

"Hey Shuichi. Do you have any fighting games? Like Mortal Kombat or something?" He sucked just a little less at those games, and they were more fun for him to play anyway.

Fox:
"No... However." The fox trailed off as he set Puu aside and rolled forward on his legs to be resting on all fours in front of the TV. The cabinet of the television stand was pulled open to expose two shelves with organized video games and movies. "Shuuichi may have left his copy here," the words were murmured and thoughtful. "Ah, here."

Kurama reached in, moving forward on his knees to get to the back where the boy had carelessly tossed it.

EDDE:
Confusion marred his features as it sounded like the redhead spoke his own name as if he were speaking about someone else. He wondered if the slight muffle of tilting his head down to look at the games had simply made him hear wrong. The question that bubbled in his mind so heavily that he almost asked it of 'aint you Shuichi?' Would have been devastatingly embarrassing to let loose. It was a dumb question. And he was so very glad for the sudden distraction that stopped him from doing so.

His head tilted a bit as Kurama moved further to look for the game. And a grin crossed his face as he stared, taking in the perfectly captivating exposure doing so gave him. He watched for a few moments, appreciating it before he shifted himself, drawing closer and looming over the partially hidden fox.

"You know Shuichi," he started, leaning down to be closer so his voice wouldn't carry, his tone quirky and sultry at the same time. "I just realized what a great view you have from where I was sitting." As he said so, his right hand landed on Kurama's right hip, the left landing on Kurama's left cheek as he copped out a nice feel for the 'scenery' as well.

Fox:
"Yeek!"

Thump.

And a hiss through clenched teeth that may have been a curse, or an irritated version of Yusuke's name followed the groping. "A little warning in the future, if you please," the fox scolded, crawling back out of the cabinet while rubbing the back of his head where he'd jumped up into the TV stand. A bump had been left behind, and if it were anyone else the expression on his face would have been considered 'huffy.' "If you truly wished to touch my backside you should have set the washer settings correctly."

His hand fell away, realizing he'd dropped the game cartridge in the process but not willing to go back in for it just yet.

EDDE:
He jumped a bit himself. Not only at the odd noise, but for the loud connection Kurama made with the TV stand... Mainly the odd noise. It was such a normal reaction, but oddly, not one he was expecting from the fox. His lips pressed together thin almost instantly, a sharp, slow snore escaping his nose as he made an attempt not to outright laugh. By the time Kurama pulled back to look at him there was even a bit of moisture in his eyes.

He calmed down a bit at the comment toward the shower, his eyes drifting upward and a thoughtful look passing over him as he thought about that. It was true after all, but his attention turned right back down to the fox. He breezed right over the comments made in his own direction because his mind was placed firmly where it had landed through the interesting reaction he got. His own hand drew behind his head in show of slight embarrassment over the more recent blunder that resulted in the redhead's pain. The smile that graced his face however, was warm, and quite cheery. "Heh. Sorry," he started, for the pain of course. His hand lowered and he leaned against both between his knees to move forward and place a peck against the other teen's lips through a softened look. "But, you know, it's funny..."

He wasn't speaking on the scene anymore as his tone matched his look. "When we met, you were supposed to be this big bad demon guy even worse than Gouki or Hiei. And yea, maybe you were at some point. But I've never really seen that from you." He thought about that for a moment and chuckled, his head tilting just a bit. "Is it weird that I can't really see you as anything other than what you are now?" Even with his change during the match with Karasu, it was hard to see Kurama like that.

Fox:
The fox let out a sigh, unable to keep his features irritated when Yusuke had such a look on his face. Instead, he accepted the apology with a soft hum, leaning in to follow the detective to extend their kiss for a few seconds more.

Green eyes blinked, slightly wider than their usual as Yusuke spoke. His breath became bated in his chest, though he remained mostly impassive. "And what do you see me as now, Yusuke?" He questioned, honestly curious and perhaps a bit hopeful.

EDDE:
He gave the fox a curious look for himself. It was pretty obvious, right? "Uh, human?" And way more normal than he could have ever guessed too.

His tone as he answered placed his thought on the fact that it was obvious a bit pointedly, the raise of his eyebrow as he said as much doing the same, and he chuckled lightly for it. The 'duh' in his tone was blatant.

Fox:
"Right, of course," he replied with a light nod. A simple statement that created an abundant joy in his heart that threatened to bubble over into his expression. "I'm human," the fox murmured as he leaned in to capture Yusuke in another kiss. A wish he knew would never truly become a reality, but one he could fake for at least one life time. To have a human life. The dream of a demon traitor.

As the kiss lasted it became filled with relief that Kurama wouldn't otherwise express. He pondered how long the detective's view on him would last; but, Yusuke wasn't one to think things over. Even if he could see every sin Youko Kurama committed, the fox was sure the detective wouldn't see him in any other light. He melted a little and had to pull himself away from the kiss before he gave in to the urge to deepen it.

"If you would like to play Mortal Kombat," he started as he sat back, the lightest hint of color on his face. "You forced me to drop it in the back of the cabinet."

EDDE:
His expression managed to soften again as Kurama drew closer, leaning in to close the space between them as he noticed what he was going for. His right hand lifted to cup Kurama's cheek and jaw lightly in his hand as their lips touched, following for a second long extra tap of them as the redhead pulled away. What could he say? The guy just had this way of drawing him in.

His attention drew to the cabinet as the teen mentioned it. And he chuckled through another apology, a bit more cheekily this time. "Sorry." He shifted, reaching in to the cabinet in the same way the fox had to retrieve the cartridge.

Fox:
The fox let out an appreciative hum as the other teen took his place on all fours. "It seems you were right Yusuke, I do have a very nice view from here." Without much more preamble Kurama rested the palm of his hand over the swell of Yusuke's ass. Hard muscle covered by youthful softness, and he couldn't help but squeeze it lightly. It was tempting to simply continue the praising touches, but something else was far more so.

Quick fingers pinched down on the vulnerable cheek while the fox chuckled.

EDDE:
It had crossed his mind that the redhead might mess with him when he went after the game, although he wasn't sure if he would or not. When he did, the touch and the comment drew that devious chuckle from his lips as he grabbed the game.

He certainly was not expecting the pinch he received, and in good fashion, he jumped himself. Though the surprised noise was given after his own head hit, against tongue and teeth. Pouting through his palm as he drew himself out quickly with his mouth covered, he squinted against the pain of a bitten tongue with just a bit of moisture in his eyes, a natural reaction to the sudden pang of teeth to tongue. "Ow..." Pulling his hand away, he poked it out to peek down at the damage to the tip through crossed eyes. Not that he could see anyway.

Fox:
Kurama chuckled into his hand, watching the other boy jump and enjoying the muffled sound. The glee of sweet revenge. Though, the sound died away as Yusuke sat back with his mouth covered. "Yusuke," the name with said with a laughing stutter that slowly calmed as he closed the distance between them. "Cute," he teased lightly before running the flat of his own tongue over the tip of Yusuke's in an apologetic gesture.

EDDE:
Yusuke jumped again, sputtering a bit, though it was mainly for the embarrassment of that stupid word and the lick to his tongue that followed it. Maybe mostly because he didn't see it coming while staring so intently at his tongue.

Withdrawing it, he smiled lightly at the laugh he'd received, though it quickly turned into grin as he held up the game he'd retrieved despite the blunder. "Ta dah."

Fox:
"Admittedly, I do not play games such as these very often. I doubt I'll be of much challenge," he stated with great modesty. Kurama took the held cartridge before shutting off the system and switching games. System turned back on the fox sat back and handed the other controller to Yusuke.

EDDE:
His grin remained, obviously pleased through the start-up of the game as he set up the player mode and selected Kitana as his fighter. "I play this game all the time in the arcade. It's gonna be weird to try it with these controls," he offered back. That, and despite the fact that he played it often, he wasn't really all that great at it either. Although the fights could be aesthetically pleasing despite that.

He pointed to the block on the screen to indicate who he was talking about as he suggested. "You should choose Sonya, Shuichi. Those two fighting is pretty easy on the eyes. Plus, they have awesome combo moves!"

Fox:
"Oh?" He selected Sonya and pressed select to look over the combinations. Shuichi was able to memorize a few of the basics and did a quick run of them with soft fingers. "If you feel that way, Yusuke," he began, clicking accept to start the match. "I'm surprised you didn't attend more of the matches."

EDDE:
As the round rolled into the credits of who was fighting who and began counting down, he jumped and ducked Kitana back and forth a few times on the d-pad, getting used to using that. The other buttons wouldn't be too different "Hn?" He peeked over at Kurama for the lead in. He pouted mildly toward the comment.

"You know, I already knew I missed a bunch. You don't gotta rub it in." The thought of possibly missing hot fighter chicks hadn't really hit him before now, and it made him pout a bit more.

Fox:
"There were several all-female teams in the beginning rounds, Yusuke. If you had taken some initiative in gathering information, you may have gotten to see something 'easy on the eyes,' as you put it." Kurama found great joy in the pout he was forcing on Yusuke's face but kept his expression only lightly amused. "Though I suppose sleeping 'till noon was more important."

EDDE:
"Whaaat?" The whine was dragged out from that particular piece of information as he easily played into Kurama's teasing, an annoyance rolling through the pout that easily stated he was thinking on the subject. He had done a lot of sleeping during the tournament, but it wasn't like he could really help it.

Although a thought struck him, and he offered that grin right back on him. "So were they hot?" Not that hearing about it would make it any less sucky that he'd miss it.

Fox:
"I don't usually follow such crude line of discussion. However," the fox glanced at the boy beside him to be sure he had his attention. "I found they had very appealing features with an unnecessary lack of clothing."

Carrying a small tray of snacks Shiori paused in the entry way.

"I distinctly recall attractively curvy backsides."

She quickly stepped back and returned to the kitchen while stifling little giggles. It was good Shuichi had someone to talk about these things with.

Animality!

EDDE:

He whined again. "Aw maaan." Sighing heavily, he'd all but forgotten the controller in his hands that were set in his lap through the small fit he was throwing over missing what Kurama was describing. And they were curvy too.

His attention shot up a moment later, blinking heavily at the screen as it not only showed Sonya the winner of the round, but the victory screen pulled up as well. And he was suddenly loud again, bubbly and angry just as he'd been at the previous game. "WHAT?! You beat me twice?! When the Hell did that happen?!" The worst part of it being that he hadn't been paying attention to the fighting women on the screen either, so he'd also missed that.

Fox:
"Your multitasking skills leave much to be desired," he teased lightly. Though, his attention quickly turned up as his mother stepped into view. She smiled at them both with a tray of sliced cheeses and crackers as well as two more bottles of root beer. "Supper won't be ready for a little while yet. I hope these will tide you over," she offered while setting the tray on the coffee table.

Kurama flushed lightly as she placed a kiss on top of his head before leaving.

EDDE:
"Yeah, so what? It's because you were talking about--" His attention turned as well as the shift cut him off, watching the woman as she laid out the snacks and pecked Kurama on the head before heading off again. He was far less nervous for it, as her attention didn't fall on him directly, and he smiled lightly at the show of affection, watching the color on the fox's face change.

A light smirk crawled across his face as he nudged at him with his shoulder and elbow and teased lightly, "You're such a mamma's boy." But his attention turned back in the direction she'd left as it slid back into a cheery smile and he added through a light chuckle, "Although I can't say I blame you. I'm sure if my mom was even half as cool as her, I'd maybe at least like her a little."

Fox:
"I see no issue with that," Kurama answered curtly, though with a hint of humor as he took a cracker. "She is quite astounding. Here," he held out the cracker with a cube of cheese on top. "Mother curdles the cheese herself." He said it with such a flippant tone and made it once again very difficult to tell if the fox was being sarcastic.

EDDE:
Yusuke tilted his head a bit as he took the cracker, staring at it for a moment as he thought on that. His mind wondered to off for its own line of questioning as he had been attempting to imagine someone curdling cheese and realized he was drawing a blank on it. "How the Hell do you make cheese, anyway?" He popped it into his mouth.

Fox:
"... Never mind, Yusuke," he answered with a heavy, but highly amused sigh. The fox took a moment to take a sip of his soda before returning them to their game. Yusuke's button mashing worked better than the majority of the combination moves, so Shuichi took to clever comments and distractionary tactics to win the majority of matches.

---

The table had been set neatly for three with bowls of white rice and thin slivers of salmon that covered it. A simple meal, but one made with great care regardless. Kurama's seat was empty for the moment, as he'd hurried to the laundry room to run the dryer.

"So, tell me Yusuke," she started with a sweet smile. "How did you and Shuichi meet?"

EDDE:
Yusuke continued to gab angrily at the redhead through most of the rest of the game play, having smoothed over the cheese thing without much difficulty even though he was still a little curious.

----

Yusuke had followed Kurama toward the kitchen for the amount he'd went, then continued on his own. Though he basically walked into a wall of that nervousness as he realized he was alone in the room with the woman. And it was only made worse as she not only addressed him but asked him that specific question. He turned his head quickly, looking over his shoulder in the direction Kurama had gone, hoping he was coming back as he wasn't sure what exactly to do with that particular question.

But he wasn't there, and as Yusuke looked back on his mom, he noticed the sweet smile, and that she seemed pretty expectant as it was usually an easy enough question. The anxiety boiled over, and the boy panicked.

His hands went out in front of him, palms and fingers straight and facing each other as he set the scene. "So there I was." He had on a face so straight it didn't match his features very well at all. "Chasing down these three goons that stole some super valuable crap from a vault, right? So I totally beat down the first guy with no problem what-so-ever." As he bragged the last bit, he waved it over his shoulder flippantly as if it really were nothing at all. Of course, that 'no problem' changed pretty quickly as he went on.

"So anyway, I'm still recovering from havin' my ass handed to me and winning by the skin'a my teeth when I find out the third guy is supposed to the biggest bad guy of all. So I'm thinkin' I ain't gonna deal with the boss battle until I absolutely have to, you know?" He'd thought of a way to avoid saying 'Kurama' by accident pretty quickly as his hands shot out and drew drew out to his sides as he said, "But nooo. Wouldn't you friggin' know it, that guy shows up right in front of me just as I'm sayin' so."

"So, you know, I'm freakin' out a little because I know I can't do shit to stop this guy," he continued as he ruffled his hair a bit in frustration just at the thought. But he smiled pretty quickly. "Well as I'm pissin' my pants like a freakin' toddler, this guy just up and flips everything on its ass and tells me he needs me to wait to kick his ass." His finger drew up as he let her know quite candidly, "And me, I'm over here thinkin' I just got a new pass on life, and I ain't had the one I've got now for nearly long enough, so I was thankin' whatever God was lookin' over my shoulder right then."

Through an exuberant sigh, a smile crossed his face, and his story took a decidedly gentler tone. "So, he tells me that his mom is sick, and I'm not sure how it really turned out to happen, but I ended up going to the hospital with him. Although I guess it probably had to do with the fact that his eyes were more honest than most people I've met my whole life, and I basically couldn't help it." He chuckled lightly, thinking on the short visit and how happy she seemed to be when she saw Kurama visiting.

His hand lifted, palm up near his shoulder and his head tilted in the picture of non-chalance. "So anyway, it turns out that he has this magic mirror, and that it can grant a wish. And the wish is to save his mom, and we did, aaand we've been friends ever since." The last part of the story probably wasn't nearly as captivating as the rest, but it at least had the happy ending detail clipped down well.

"Oh yeah!" He remembered another part, having been completely caught up in his story by this point. "And also, he helped me beat the shit outta the last guy because by then we were already friends and he knew it was the right thing to do," he nodded out through crossed arms.

Fox:
"Oh?" The surprised look on her face strongly resembled Shuichi's. Such a strange boy, and yet as he continued his story the woman placed her elbows on the table and laced her fingers. Shiori was smiling with motherly eyes, completely captivated by the wild imagination of Shuichi's friend.

She couldn't help the giggle that came at the thought of her very sweet boy being portrayed as the 'boss villain' with honest eyes. Her heart warmed as they teamed together to save her life on the day she'd nearly lost it. "Then I guess I owe you a very big thank you, for saving me as well as taking care of my son."

"I have a strong feeling that I missed something." Kurama came around the corner, having caught the end of Yusuke's story on his trip back to the kitchen table.

"Oh no, Yusuke was just telling me the very thrilling tale of how you two met."

EDDE:
Yusuke bubbled up into that over exuberant laughter of his, the nervousness in his tone perfectly audible as his hand drew behind his head. "Oho yea. Exciting stuff!" He chuckled the two sentences out before turning to face the redhead fully, which took the woman's view off his face just as it all but screamed 'help me' at the other teen through that smile of his.

He hadn't sat down yet himself, having been carried away by his tale, and the heavy movement it had entailed while he'd stood there explaining their meeting in as little detail as he possibly could without lying to the woman, as he had found that he couldn't lie to that face she was making through the panic he'd faced for what should have been such a simple question to answer. And there were so many better answers that weren't nearly as ridiculously truthful that came to mind when he wasn't faced with that look anymore.

Fox:
"It isn't all that thrilling really," the fox offered, taking a seat and motioning Yusuke to do the same. "We met at the arcade." He couldn't help the quiet laughter that bubbled in his throat at the look he received. Shiori was pouting slightly at her son. "I liked Yusuke's version much better. You have a creative talent," her attention turned to her guest with the additive. "Oh, here I am rambling on. Please, eat. I hope you like it." Many questions still tingled on her tongue, but the boy was already nervous, and she couldn't bring herself to ask them.

The detective's discomfort was more than amusing, but he still offered a bit of assurance with a natural smile.

"I'm glad you finally used that second pair of chopsticks, Shuichi," Shiori said with no small amount of delight, and it pulled a light flush to the teen's cheeks. "Agreed," Kurama said with a slight nod before they began to tuck into their meal politely.

EDDE:
As he sat, he noticed the look on the woman's face again, and it brought a chuckle and smile to him as well. "I like that one better, too." He told her cheerily.

"Oh yea, I've got plenty of 'em too," he boasted haughtily, perfectly happy that she hadn't come close to taking him for his word. Of course, he really did like that version better. The truth made for a great story, sure, but it also had a lot of meaning, even for him.

Kurama's smile, and the fun look his mom had landed on him seemed to ease him back into a more casual state as his focus moved down purely to his portion. An excitement shined through his eyes. "Oh wow, this looks good," he hummed out cheerily. And he tried a bite, a thoughtful look on his face for a moment before breaking into a big smile after he swallowed. "It is, it is."

Fox:
"I'm glad." The woman smiled, pausing in her own eating to do so. Shuichi continued to give side long glances at the boy beside him, and it warmed her heart to see him so relaxed. "Is someone coming to pick you up later Yusuke?" She asked after some time had passed. "Or will you be spending the night with us?"

EDDE:
He tilted his head a bit. "Uh..." It was kind of a weird question, at least to him, so it took him a moment. "I was just gonna walk home," he said rather easily after that. It was a pretty obvious answer to him. His attention traveled over to Kurama as he answered and put more food in his mouth to shut out the quirky remark on his lips.

Fox:
The fox dipped some salmon in soy sauce before bringing it to his lips and taking a bite. He gave a little sigh through his nose at Yusuke's answer and looked away to let the boy know he was on his own with this one.

"But it's so late, the buses have stopped running," she argued. "I can't let you walk home alone at this hour; you could be hurt." And Kurama had to stifle a snigger.

EDDE:
Yusuke happened to be lucky for the next bite he shoved in his mouth, as it hid the rather large grin and allowed him not to laugh out loud in that way of his that could seem rather harsh sometimes as he did his best to slide over the comment of being hurt on his way home.

Though he did chuckle lightly as he finished the bite, shrugging it off since he didn't really care either way. "It's fine if I stay here. My mom wasn't home when I got up for school, so I doubt she'll be home until morning anyway." He grew slightly annoyed at the thought that ran through his mind that mentioned she might not even make it back then, but let it pass without further distraction.

Fox:
"Oh? Does she work late?"

Kurama cleared his throat a bit and quickly changed the subject.

Dinner went on in the same manner, a few awkward questions directed at Yusuke that Kurama usually deflected. However, he did let her ream him for his favorite foods and snacks; she even promised to make a few of those things to pack in Shuichi's bento box from then on.

Once they had finished and Kurama helped in taking care of the kitchen, Yusuke was brought back up to his room. He laid out the sleeping futon before taking the time to brush his teeth. Now he sat on his bed and carefully brushed the tangles from his hair, letting it puff up naturally. "Mother really likes you," he praised. "Even more than I thought."

EDDE:
At her initial question, he'd answered mostly under his breath with, "Ch. You could say that..." It was sour, and filled with mock humor as he thought it out but lacked the chance to explain over Kurama's interference.

Dinner was less awkward than he thought it would be, but that was mainly thanks to the redhead redirecting the conversation flow for several things that he most likely would have been far too truthful without even thinking about that might ruin the mood for the other two.

Yusuke had plopped onto the mat with his legs crossed and leaning back on his hands. Watching Kurama brush his hair, his head tilted through his comment. That cheery little grin of his crossed his face as he gave a chuckle through leaning forward and planting his elbows on his knees. "Yea, give it time, Shuichi. It doesn't usually take long for that to change."

Fox:
"Yusuke, if I didn't think the two of you would get along, I wouldn't have invited you over for dinner," he pointed out in a rather flippant manner as the crimson mane of hair was pulled over his right shoulder to allow him better access. The brush ran through the strands, Kurama more careful than usual with any tugs that might cause damage.

Puu was settled beside him on the bed, and he gave the beast a quick glance. "You don't give yourself enough credit Yusuke. I find you quite likable."

EDDE:
An eyebrow lifted at the response. Was that so? Another chuckle as he gave a bit of a shrug. "I guess. She seems pretty easy going, anyway," he offered lightly.

A curious note entered his features at the next part as he teased. "Yea, well I haven't quite figured out that one either. I mean, what does that say about you?" He masked on an eerie grin, mocking lightly toward his reputation, which he'd certainly earned. "Don't you know what kinda guy I am, Shuichi? You really shouldn't get mixed up with that kinda guy. People will talk."

Fox:
With the fluffy hair now clear of tangles it was tossed over his shoulder again and the brush set aside. "Perhaps that is exactly what draws me to you," he teased back. "Were you unaware?" The fox slipped off his bed to sit beside the detective closely, their legs touching. "It is common for the 'golden child' to be attracted to the softhearted delinquent."

EDDE:
His head tilted as he listened to the redhead, blinking a bit as he moved closer. At the end of it, he eased forward. An angry pout shifted over his features as he leaned closer. His shoulders hunched a bit through the taking of a grasp at his ankles as he asked, "The Hell do you mean, softhearted? I am not soft."

Fox:
Kurama pursed his lips together tightly to stifle the laughter threatening to escape. He turned and sat up enough to pluck Puu off of the bed. "Forgive me Yusuke," he stated with a perfectly calm expression. "But I must disagree. The evidence supports the contrary." The red head held up the spirit beast in reference.

EDDE:
Appalled all over again by the comparison, the 'evidence' all but made his hair stand on end for the insult he tended to take from it. "That damn stuffed animal doesn't mean a thing," he argued adamantly. "I'm not soft! I'm harder than a whore's heart, dammit!"

Fox:
"I'm very certain," he agreed, clearly patronizing. "In that case," he said with a quiet sigh, lifting himself back up onto his bed with Puu under an arm. "I would much rather sleep beside something soft, feel free to remain down there," his tone was flippant and playful while the fox slid under his blanket.

EDDE:
He pouted heavily at that tone, finding it incredibly annoying. Although not nearly as much for how his words were turned against him as his eyes set on the overly happy little beast that was perfectly content to cuddle up to the redhead as he settled into the bed.

He sat up straight, taking a short breath for a comeback, but deciding against it. Instead, he uncoiled as he stood, staring down on the two through his brooding. Like Hell he was gonna let that freaking thing get all this special treatment like it was some kind of twisted punishment against him.

First, he plucked the stupid beast from the teen's grasp and plopped it quite adamantly on the futon. "Stupid freakin' toy." Then his attention landed on Kurama as he pushed his way into the bed, sliding under the bedding himself, that sullen look planted pointedly on the fox.

Fox:
That sullen look was met with a very satisfied one, the cat that caught the canary, so to speak. Admittedly, he was sad to see the little blue creature pulled from his grasp but it was an easy loss compared to the gain. With a little sigh Kurama wrapped an arm around Yusuke's waist and shifted closer.

He found such a comfort in resting against Yusuke's chest, listening to his heartbeat and catching his scent. "Sleep well Yusuke."

EDDE:
The stubborn attention drew away quickly into one of confusion. At least until he realized that he'd been played easier than a one note recorder, which had ironically been exactly what he was attempting to avoid. Although as Kurama pulled up to him and spread a rather foreign comfort and warmth through him, he lacked the capacity to remain annoyed. Chuckling lightly, a barely uncertain arm wrapped over the redhead in return as he sunk into the feeling through a hefty sigh. "Yeah."

Fox:
They fell into slumber together, breathes evening and falling in time. The night was left silent aside from the occasional airy sounds that left their lips, but it was not a peace meant to last the night. Tension rose in the fox, starting in the curl of his toes and ending with the twitching tips of his fingers. Sweat formed on his temple, a bead traveling around his ear and pooling at the corner of his jaw. Your hair is a bit... damaged, Kurama. The crows words plagued his dreams.

Kurama's lips parted to compensate for faster respiration, and a hand left Yusuke to touch at his own throat. Human bodies are so fragile. The intent in Karasu's voice left him in shudders; remembered revulsion stacking with renewed. What the quest class wanted to do... what he very easily could have done in that moment. The moment he was at Karasu's mercy.

A phantom heat burned over his belly, his arms, legs, back, every healed blast was scalding; and, when it flared against his throat Kurama was jolting forward. "Get, away!" The bedding was tossed as the fox threw a back elbow to chase off the attacker that wasn't there. Sweating and panting, narrow eyed and just able to see in the wide light of the moon.

EDDE:
Yusuke was a heavy sleeper to say the least, if that weren't obvious through previous experience. Despite how utterly foreign the feeling of sleeping with someone next to him still was, curling up to the redhead had been something he could melt into easily, although he'd already learned as much when they'd basically shared a room on the boat. Hell, he'd almost missed the feeling the night before.

And he was sleeping quite heavily, as per usual. However, sensing the distress the other was in, which was also a similar feeling to when they'd shared the bed before, he was roused pretty quickly from his slumber. His eyes lidded lightly when Kurama pulled away a bit, fighting to clear his mind against the haze of waking as a reflex he didn't know he had.

He sat up, pressing at his eyes heavily and blinking the darkness away as the teen struggled against the dream he was having. A soft frown touched his lips as his eyes adjusted and he looked down on him. He'd moved to lean over the fox, ready to rouse him, and had to pull back quickly through a disgruntled noise to avoid a head on collision when the other came up so suddenly.

The startle of it nearly set his chest on fire through the rapid beat it set to his heart. He blamed the waking state for being so easily surprised, although he knew it had a lot to do with the anxiety rolling through him for the taller male's distress. He let off a soft sigh, turning and leaning on his hand for support. "Shuichi...?" His voice broke a bit with the sleep that still resided in it as he lifted his free hand to brush back red sweat-soaked locks from his forehead. "Hey, you okay?" And despite his earlier claims of being 'hard', concern was written all over his face as he fought the darkness with his eyes to get a clearer view of the out of sorts teen's face in attempt of checking his condition.

Fox:
Wavering anger disguised feral panic in the fox's eyes when they turned to settle on Yusuke. He froze at the touch, leaning carefully away from it before his senses began to work him through the entrapment of sleep. The scent of home, and the touch of a friend, even if it was mingled with the lingering whiffs of chard flesh. "Yes," he assured in a voice that was a little heavier than he would have liked.

Despite knowing his safety, Kurama's striking hand returned to touch his neck. "I'm sorry for waking you, it was just a dream. Nothing you should concern yourself with," he assured, very quickly regaining composure; though, there wasn't much he could do about the perspiration gluing his bangs to his forehead.

EDDE:
"Bull." His tone remained light despite having lost most of the sleep. Huffing a sigh, he leaned closer, again petting at his bangs before slowly wrapping his arms around him. "C'mere." He tugged him down with him as he nestled back into the sheets, his eyes remaining on him as he kept the protective hold on him, the touch strong but gentle in a familiar way.

Fox:
He couldn't stop the slight laugh that left his lips as he was tugged back down onto the bed. Once more Kurama found himself held up against Yusuke's chest, and once more he relaxed against it. Only moments passed before he fell back into a restful slumber, thankfully free of nightmares.

EDDE:
He watched the redhead fall back asleep, gentle fingers working diligently at his brushing at his bangs despite not being able to pull his fingers through properly. A bit of a smile touched his lips as he offered through a light squeeze, "I'm right here, you know."

It took him a bit longer to fall asleep, the warmth of the fox finally being the thing to settle and get him there. While he could toss and turn a good deal usually in his sleep, he barely even twitched through the rest of the night, able to rest peacefully with the teen in his arms the way they were.

Fox:
The sun rose and with it came the smell of breakfast. A simple, light sunny side up eggs on lightly salted rice. He was usually the first to wake and make breakfast for himself and his mother, but it seemed she had beaten him to it. His alarm hadn't even gone off yet. Kurama was reluctant to move, more than comfortable in their current arrangement and yet there was a nagging feeling. He waved it off as a Remanence of his dream, that chill of being watched; but it wouldn't go away.

Kurama started when his eyes opened to find a beady pair staring down at him. Puu had settled himself on Yusuke's shoulder and wouldn't look away from him. "Puu..."

"That's incredibly impolite," he scolded.

EDDE:
Yusuke's face stressed a bit toward both the fox's voice and the movement of the little beast's claws against his shoulder as it shifted its weight, its attention keeping stark on Kurama. The teen sighed lightly, his arms circling the redhead a bit tighter as he nuzzled down into his hair, at which point he relaxed into his rest all over again.

Fox:
The fox stared back at the blue penguin for several long moments. "Stop that," he ordered, waving his hand to try and shoo the beast away. "There are still a few more minutes before the alarm is set off," he stated while happily returning to his place against Yusuke's chest.

EDDE:
Flinching away from the shooing hand just a bit, its weight continued to shift as a suddenly determined look traveled over the two of them. And then it was waddling across the spirit detective. It nestled into a nook between their chests. Wriggling around a bit, Puu pushed himself deeper and managed to roll onto his back. With a hardy little grunt of exertion, claws planted firmly on the sleeping teen and pushed with all their might, using the redhead as leverage from behind. Yusuke didn't budge, or even stir.

Fox:
Why did he put up with this? Humanity really had made him soft. He let out a soft huff at his own thoughts and ignored them soon enough. "Yusuke, wake up and control yourself." Kurama reached up to tug lightly at Yusuke's cheek.

EDDE:
Yusuke's features scrunched against the pull to his face, hugging a bit tighter. The change gave for a light squeak to leave the small beast as it was squished just a bit through the new closeness. As it whined out an elongated grunt in likeness to its name while pushing, claws kneading one at a time in attempt to push harder, quickly turning into heavy kicks into the raven-haired teen's chest. A grunt left the boy in the form of a complaint at the kicking, but still, Puu's attempts didn't dislodge him even a little.

Fox:
"Cease with this nonsense." Instead of prodding more at the sleeping teen his attention turned to Puu. When Yusuke wanted to sleep, there was no waking him. The beast was pinched at the scruff and lifted from the tight space just as the alarm began to sound.

EDDE:
Puu whined at him as it was picked up, squirming and spouting off at the mouth as it pouted sharply at him.

Yusuke looked down on the two, blinking sleep away from his eyes heavily as he heard the alarm clock. "What're you doin' to Puu, Shuichi?" The tight, comforting hold he had on the fox loosened as his head tilted a bit.

Fox:
"Nothing," he said with a puffing sigh. Puu was set back down on Yusuke, and he reached up to the alarm clock. For once, he pressed the snooze button and was content to go back into Yusuke's arms.

EDDE:
The boy chuckled lightly in that same tired tone he'd asked his question in toward the answer. He reached down to give a bit of a rub to the spot where Puu had been pushing and kicking at him, a bit of an itch remaining in that spot. As Kurama curled back up to him, his arm slid back around him almost immediately.

He peeked down at him as Puu gave the redhead light nudges and nuzzles against his arm in want of attention. The teen saw as much, and his hand loosed from its hold to land on the blue fuzz ball's head as the other curled into red locks. Puu calmed down as Yusuke gave off another sigh, pets of his fingers falling purely in red hair.

"You're warm," he mentioned off hand as his eyes closed again and lips turned up a bit, the one-armed embrace nearly as comfortable as both. His nose buried back into the top the other teen's hair, breathing him in quietly in the sleepy state.

Fox:
He hummed in response, eyes shut to let him float in a half-asleep state as Yusuke pet his scalp. The fox pushed lightly into the petting fingers with a happy little sound, enjoying the light scratching and letting it lull him back to sleep for the few minutes left on the snooze. Ten minutes passed far too quickly, but this time when the buzzer went off Kurama pushed himself up into a sit and shut off the alarm. "I believe Mother has made us breakfast."

---

The sun burned hot in the sky, not a cloud to offer the relief of shade upon the middle school students. Gone were the maroon uniforms and in its place were gym shorts that hardly matched Kurama's idea of tasteful. Tight over the backside and only reaching halfway down his thighs. The white tee shirt was loose in comparison and tucked into the elastic waist band of those shorts.

Crimson hair, usually loose in a floof, was pulled up into a high ponytail with his forelocks left to hang over his shoulders. Sweat clung to his forehead, his cheeks lightly flushed from the heat and exertion as he raced around the track along with the rest of his class.

EDDE:
Yusuke didn't fall back asleep, simply basking in the warmth of Kurama as he pet at him. Another chuckle left him when the fox decided it was time to get up. Breakfast went far more smoothly than dinner had, though that was probably mainly because it looked like the boy was barely awake through it.

----

He'd gone to check on his place before school, mainly to see if his mom had gotten back yet. The woman honestly couldn't take care of herself, and if he hadn't seen her when they'd gotten back, he might actually be a bit worried about her after being gone for so long. But he had. So, he wasn't.

On his way to school he recognized quite easily that the naggy girl he usually walked with wasn't with him today. While he didn't so much like the thought of keeping hold of Puu for it, the lack of moral compass had him veering off in search of Kurama's school instead.

There wasn't as big a stink for him looking in on classrooms this morning as he searched out the redhead, though it was certainly there. He didn't find him on the bottom floor, and just as he was contemplating how to search the higher levels, he happened to look over at the track field.

Yusuke wasn't sure it was him at first, but as he got a closer look, he did recognize him. He could easily admit to himself that Kurama looked great in his Phys ed outfit. Taking in the sight, the boy made his way up the bleachers, stopping about halfway to relax across a few rows, leaning back on the next row up and crossing outstretched legs at the ankles on the row below. After all, it was great show, and it deserved to be experienced comfortably.

Fox:
He could feel his partner before he could see him, but it never faltered his stride. In fact, it seemed to lengthen it. The fox didn't need to look, but he turned his gaze quickly to the bleachers anyway and found the detective lounging on the bleachers. It gave him a bit of a thrill and without conscious effort Shuichi's movements changed, only slightly. They became a little more graceful, less the guise of the human teenager and showing a hint of the dangerous fox lying in wait.

When they paused for water, the fox allowed a dribble passed the corner of his lips and flicked it away with the tip of his tongue. "Minamino!" Kurama looked up as the instructor called his name, the muscular man coming towards him with a displeased expression on his face. "Is that a friend of yours?" News of the golden boy Shuichi Minamino fraternizing with a delinquent brat known for his violent tendencies had spread throughout the school in both the student and teacher bodies rather quickly. Needless to say, his teachers weren't pleased. The fox casually glanced at the bleachers again before answering. "He is." The deep frown he received in turn was ignored.

"He can't stay here; this is a private campus. Besides, he's frightening the other students." And he was... Several of his classmates continued to look at the bleachers and shiver before muttering under their breath. When Shuichi simply looked up at him the couch grumbled a bit. "Send him home before I do." The thought was an entertaining one, but he nodded with a straight face, nevertheless. "Yes sir."

Kurama strolled easily towards his lounging friend. His attempt at looking exasperated only partially successful. He enjoyed having Yusuke here too much to truly be upset. However... "I realized subtlety is not your strong suit, Yusuke," he started, hands resting loosely on his hips for lack of pockets to place them. "But you could have at least attempted it." The scolding was far more gentle than he intended, more amused than irritated.

EDDE:
The raven-haired teen was supporting his upper half on the higher bench, hands in pockets and allowing his mid-section to sink and rise into the floor space between it and the next row down purely for a need to be moving as the redhead made his way over. He'd seen the interaction between student and teacher of course. After all, his attention has been quite trained on Shuichi through his peacocking, even as he'd tugged off his uniform jacket previously to bunch up for a bit of comfort behind his head, leaving him in the loose white shirt and green pants.

A smirk had been set to his features while watching the other. Though he sunk on to the foot board, hand sliding smoothly from his pockets as the move forced a bit of a slump to his shoulders naturally as it forced a bend to his knees over the previously supporting lower bench. The smirk trailed off into a grin as the fox scolded him half-heartedly. "Well, where's the fun in that?" It was a light tease. "Besides," he added cheekily. "It's not like I'm bothering anyone." His eyes traveled over towards the gawking students and teacher on the field, knowing full well he was interrupting by this point.

Chuckling, his head gave a natural tilt off to the side and back through indication of moving behind the bleachers. "Here's an idea. I'll go back there where no one can see me if you find a reason to meet me there." As his teases continued, he couldn't help but allow himself another lengthy glance over the boy bodily as he appreciated his current appearance. Kurama looked damn good in his gym uniform, and he also liked the change in his hair style, if only because it was something new, and framed his figure in those tiny shorts so incredibly well.

Fox:
The fox hummed softly and tilted his head back just a bit, thoughtful. It was a tempting offer to say the least, something normal yet very much against the rules of his school. He glanced back at the rest of his class before turning his gaze back on the detective. It would mean skipping class, possibly imply disciplinary acting if they were caught. They would call his mother...

But only if they were caught.

"If you can make a convincing enough show of leaving," he offered with the slightest hint of a purr in his voice. "I will meet you there in five minutes." Kurama held up his hand in a show of the number before he turned to leave and return to his class. Finding a convincing excuse wouldn't be difficult, he had a silver tongue after all.

EDDE:
Yusuke blinked through the fox's agreement. Honestly, he wasn't expecting him to go along with it, but it wasn't like he was going to complain. Standing, his attention rolled over to the teacher that was still glaring him down. He returned the look, sweeping up his jacket and briefcase and slinging them over his shoulder. Jerk... Fuckin' teachers, man. Too many of them were way too much alike.

"Alright. I guess I'll see you then." It was said to himself under his breath as he watched the redhead hurry off. He couldn't help but pause to appreciate the view of the retreat as well.

Wondering to himself why Kurama had agreed to meet him under the bleachers so easily, he walked off and jumped the fence in full view of the field to the outside.

Not a few moments later he skated his way right back over fully out of view behind the large object he was to meet the fox at. Added speed helped the incognito return in being sure he wasn't seen coming.

Dropping the belongings he'd been holding over his shoulder, he encased himself in the shelter the metal above provided, leaning against one of the thicker beams as his hands slipped back into pockets, ankles crossing as he sighed through a need to wait.

Fox:
Yusuke didn't have to wait long. As expected, he was able to come up with a convincing lie that allowed him out of the rest of class. The teacher actually looked sympathetic, as if just speaking to Yusuke had been the cause of his sudden ailment. With silent steps the fox snuck around into the hidden safety the bleachers provided. A carful peek around the corner, just to be sure, then he turned to meet Yusuke.

"You, are a terrible influence," he teased lightly. "Lying to teachers, purposefully missing class," he listed, strolling over to the detective. "Shall I begin fist fights next?" Amusement danced in his eyes. "What sort of influence do you plan to have on me back here?"

EDDE:
"And yet you seem to be enjoying it enough, Shuichi," he chuckled out merrily.

As the redhead drew closer, he reached out and took a firm grasp on him, tugging and turning to switch their positions while he leaned bodily against the other boy through that naturally devious look that fell about him so often.

"Don't worry. You'll like whatever that is too." His chin tilted as he leaned closer, sitting his knee between his legs and taking a firm grasp on nude thighs to pull him into a familiar pressure, while his attention pooled into abusing the teen's pulse point between his teeth in sharp nips. They were experimental, given how much the fox had shown an enthusiasm for them at his lips.

Though he lifted his face away shortly, obvious intent raging through chocolate as he repeated the action once against his lower lip before drawing face back slowly, teasing, leading the redhead into following if he wanted anything more from his mouth. "Don't you think?" While it was a tease, he certainly wanted a verbal response for the question.

Fox:
Surprise lit his features, but the fox went with the sudden movement. Pressed against the steel beam and Yusuke pressed just as tightly to him had a hot puff of air leaving his mouth. An excited thrill traveled along his spine and aided in tilting his head back to expose his throat to the nibbling teeth. "Oh..." The noise was soft but came again as such a sensitive portion of his neck was worried between Yusuke's teeth.

When the detective pulled away it was followed by a disappointed sigh, but invitation to follow the nipping mouth was taken. Wrapping his arms loosely around Yusuke's neck the fox was eager to press their lips together, even if it only lasted a moment. "Yes," he answered, noses touching and lips so very close. "And I am very eager to be proven right."

EDDE:
Keeping his lean against the fox's body, the pressure of his own thigh against his groin, and the hold against his right thigh, his right hand drifted up, tugging the fox's shirt loose and trailing at length over his abdomen, and then his chest. As he thumbed over the redhead's nipple in a quick flicking motion, he leaned back onto a fleeting kiss that trailed his tongue over the roof of mouth and offered another sharp nip to his lip before tugging away. And the grip on his thigh shifted back and around for a much hardier grip that included part of his inner thigh and allowed fingers to trail over his backside variously, fingers kneading and petting at the skin under his touch as he offered a quick rolling pinch to his nipple before moving back to petting over his torso at length.

His focus didn't purely fall in the redhead's face as he worked at him. Warm shudders were kept at bay as his eyes roamed the entirety the teen's body following movements against him, giving great cause to partially grow an issue that was slowly becoming more prominent as it was so heavily against the taller male. The attention of his teeth and lips turned sharply back to the fox's throat over various pulse points as he moaned out his name warmly purely for the value they both gained from it.

Fox:
His breath came in stutters as his body tingled under Yusuke's touch. Kurama rolled his hips against the offered thigh and back into the petting hand while gasping at the kiss that ended far too quickly. Crimson pressed against the metal giving him support as the fox tilted his head back and pressed into each brush against his torso. His shoulders jumped at the flicking thumbs, but the pinch was met with a gasp and a soft moan of Yusuke's name.

This was going far passed the line. Anyone could walk around the bleachers, and even if they were better hidden, they were still at his school... And Yusuke's touches felt so good, too good. Feeling the other teen's issue pressing against him the fox canted his hips just enough to grind it against his own. The shorts were having difficulty holding back the hard shaft, the waist band pulled out slightly by the head.

"Wait a moment, Yusuke," he panted, pressing against the teen shoulders. A moment was taken to catch his breath, then Kurama took hold of his shirt and lifted it with a bright red flush. Right hand grasping cloth, his left moved to touch his own nipple, the bud a hard pebble. "Bite me here, as well."

EDDE:
His own breath was a bit heavy, a groan that was too appreciative for his own liking pulled past his lips at the distraction the redhead provided below. Blinking a bit, he moved back with the press to his shoulders. His attention drew in the direction of the field as a bit of student chatter grew louder.

He watched through the bleachers for a moment as a small group of three students made their way over to have a rest, a smirk sliding across his lips as he turned back to the other teen; taking in the sight as Kurama pulled up his shirt.

Instead of listening, he drew close again, lips cupping the shape of his jaw just below his ear begot drawing over to it with a nice nip there as well. He had no doubt the other was thinking about how easily they could be caught like this, but he chose to draw his attention over to the kids that were now so close anyway through his words and where he'd just been looking.

Shuichi saw these students nearly every day. Certainly, he'd recognize them if he looked. "They can't see us yet, Shuichi," he warned through a tone that was simply wicked as the hand at his torso traveled down. "I sure hope you can manage to keep it that way." After all, they'd certainly be able to hear them if they were loud enough; the students sitting there could be heard clearly as it was.

He reached down into the folds of those shorts and took a firm grip on him, fingers massaging as his palm remained stark in place purely for a thrilling feeling he didn't want to be too strong as he backed off slightly. This effectively took away the earlier distraction through the movement as his teeth circled the previously indicated nub and his tongue flicked over it smoothly. He remembered the sharp jolt of harsh teeth against his own nipple incredibly well, and a moment later he offered that sharp pressure, mimicking the sweet grooming if his tongue he'd received for the same action on that night they'd shared together. He repeated actions quickly.

Fox:
He tensed sharply. Familiar voices drew close, and footsteps created a resounding sound over the metal. Instantly the hand at his chest fell away but Yusuke's lips at his jaw kept him from dropping his shirt. Shadows fell over them and green eyes were sharp as they stared up at the students casting them. He recognized the two girls from his homeroom class, and he swallowed thickly when they fell on the boy between them. Yuki was another member of the biology club; they met twice a week and spent many hours on projects that included the garden on the roof.

"Mm," The breath was hot, Yusuke's words leaving him shivering. The held shirt was lifted to his mouth to be bit down on. It held up the fabric and aided in keeping him quiet.

"Where did Shuichi go?"

"The nurse, but I think he was just scared of that Urameshi guy. I don't blame him."

Kurama arched and bit down on the cloth in his mouth to resist a gasping cry. The firm hold on his burning cock was enough to make him sigh, but the sharp bite he'd asked for shot a spark of electricity into his groin that jerked his hips forward. The redhead had a brief moment of clarity that reminded him that he should push Yusuke away, that they should find a new place or wait until his classmates left.

Instead, Shuichi placed a hand on the back of the detective's head to hold him close and silently ask for more.

EDDE:
Another sharp nip followed by a grooming lick before turning the gesture on the opposite; but then, he was feeling adventurous again. The thrill of having those students over head was making him feel far more bold in his actions, and he had little doubt it was affecting Shuichi far stronger given how much riskier the situation was for him.

He leaned up again, close to his ear to grind out in an almost whisper, "Better hope that works good enough to gag those sweet noises you make." After which he was sliding down the boy's body, the hand circling hardened flash pulling away and taking just enough of those shorts with him to set him free after offering a tentative licking over him through the thin material in show of his intent. He didn't give time for compliant or opposition as he landed on his knees and took a supportive hold of it all over again.

His tongue flicked out, trailing shortly, and then once heavily, over that sensitive nerve bundle just under the head as he looked up on the beautiful sight of the redhead biting against a shirt that was balled up and showing him off so nicely. A deep shudder ran through his veins as the jerks above them continued to talk shit about him, exchanging stories he'd heard plenty of before. His attention wasn't on their words, purely using their presence for the chilling thrill it had to offer.

And there was still the threat of literally anyone else happening to stroll around the bleachers where they were nowhere near hidden from that angle if anyone should. His hips shifted on their own, the pressing fabric against the steadily hardened organ sending deep, sharp pangs of frustrating chills racing through to his veins. Just after the valiant tease he offered the teen, he shifted a bit closer and drew his tongue heavily up over the throbbing flesh, from base to tip with the offer of lightly suckling kisses to the head.

Sharp attention remained trained up on the redheaded boy as he repeated the action one too many times to be fair for the lack in follow through received from it. However, through the next he took him in, just barely covering a bit more than the head and provided a nice seal, his tongue playing over him in both short and long trailing licks over and in a thin line just under the head as he sucked.

The hand that had the best of grips on his thigh, keeping him in place while offering that much more of a touch, moved between petting both heavily and just barely up over his inner thigh, moving in close to the other action he was providing, yet pulling away just before brushing over any more intimate area.

Chocolate eyes covered the devious smirk his lips were currently too busy to perform as his attention on the fox only strayed to turn up pointedly on the shadows looming over them almost purely to draw attention there when he was sure Shuichi paying attention to him, but also to check on their condition for himself as a sudden, horribly thrilling coil raged through his veins while he realized that if they were caught, this would the position he would be found in. And despite how horribly embarrassing that would be for him, the thought alone had a quiescent, low groan rolling across his tongue as he began slowly sucking the other down.

Fox:
Grasping the hem of his shirt with his hand, the fabric was released from his teeth for a retort. "That's well enough," the correction was made in a soft huff of retaliation that was further dampened by his expression; red faced with nervously darting eyes that shone with a hidden excitement. But Yusuke was moving down and the shirt was once more bitten into in order to muffle a soft, anticipating moan.

The fox placed his left hand on the top of Yusuke's head, tugging his hair lightly to make it clear that this wasn't his idea, and he wasn't liking this; even as his head fell back. His right hand clamped firmly over his mouth to stop the short string of noises that followed the detective's tongue so perfectly rubbing over the frenulum.

"I don't think he was afraid, they looked pretty chummy. Oh! Maybe they're... you know."

"Oh yeah, and Shuichi left to go make out with him somewhere," it was said with a sarcastic snort.

But they were doing so much more, and the words made him twitch and smear Yusuke's lips with precum. Each long lick and kiss was met with another drop, his fingers tightening in slicked hair just for something to hold on to. Anticipation was burning in his belly almost more so than the hot, wet muscle teasing his full length; and it burst when the detective finally took mercy. Kurama jerked his hips forward against the stilling hand, a heavy whine leaving his throat and soaking through his shirt.

"Hey, did you hear something?"

"No, you must be hearing things."

"Yeah, guess you're right."

Leaving Yusuke's hair his other hand was brought up to cover over its twin. He doubted he'd be able to get away with another mishap. He looked down at the other teen and had to pinch his nose to suppress the sighing moan at the sight. Through Yusuke's petting the redhead's thighs quivered every time the touch turned light and fleeting, until his knees were pressing together.

"Nn~" thankfully it was too soft for his classmates to hear. He bent over a little as Yusuke took him down further and bit down so hard his jaw creaked to keep himself silent.

EDDE:
The brown eyed boy continued, swallowing shallowly as the thought struck and stuck in his mind at exactly what he wanted to attempt next. Shuichi was melting against his touches, and he was bathing happily in the glow of it.

"But you know, now that I think of it, Shuichi has never shown even the slightest bit of interest in any girls that have gone after him. At least not that I've seen."

"Tell me about it. I've been rejected enough times it hurts... Not that it stops me. Hahaha."

"The thought of even one date with him is too tempting to pass up the opportunity. Even when he's blowing you off, he's just about the sweetest thing in the world about it... And I guess if he were of that persuasion it would make a lot more sense."

"Or maybe you two just aren't his type and you should give up and let some of the rest of us have a chance." The boy seemed to be ignored as the girls simply continued on.

"Ugh, but could imagine a date with that Urameshi guy?" The girls giggled together. "Just what do you suppose a guy like that thinks is romantic?"

"Haha! Who knows! Probably something lame like taking you to the arcade and making you watch him play games."

"Aren't you two going a bit far with this?.. Besides, do you really want someone to overhear you and it get back to him somehow?" His defense of the raven-haired teen fell on deaf ears as the girls simply continued.

Through the entirety of the conversation, yusuke's attentions neither stopped nor wavered as his focus remained on the redhead above him and his task hand. If anything, he could be annoyed with the conversation later, but honestly, he was too used to that sort of thing to really care much at the surface.

And as they spoke, he took the organ in straight to the back of his throat, swallows forced against the feeling that couldn't keep the position for long. So, he moved on, sucking heavily at the piece as his head bobbed and tongue laved, allowing it to reach back and hit his throat on short occasion as he went. If anything, their talk had him performing a bit better through an unconscious determination of blocking the annoying chatter out. The teasing hand pulled around, reaching up to cup and massage the withing teen's balls as he'd been shown on more than one occasion.

Fox:
Their words were muffled by the blood rushing in his ears, but a few could be made out. In his haze filled mind, all he could think was how much he would enjoy going to the arcade with Yusuke. That too was lost in the excitement and pleasure as the fox bent forward at the waist and once more pinched his nose to stop the chattering sobs.

"Gnng!" Shuichi dropped his head and curled his toes as Yusuke fondled him through the thin shorts.

"Okay I know I heard something that time."

"Me too."

They heard. They heard and instead of dropping his arousal it spiked and roughly shoved him over the edge. The loud whistle from the couch saved the couple pure humiliation as his classmates lost intrest in the noise in order to meet up with the rest of the class. Once he was sure the group was gone Kurama moved his hands and let go of his drool soaked shirt with an undignified 'Pwa,' before he sunk to the ground. "I must... leave for the locker room shortly," he panted, moving to push the detective back and reach for his fly. "Do try to be quick about this."

EDDE:
They heard the sweet little noise Shuichi was so valiantly trying to hold back, and the thought of them moving to look for it had a heavy tremble rolling through him just as the other boy flew over the edge. He nearly missed catching the tensity that ran through the standing boy through the lovely, horrible thrill that caught him so off guard. But he did catch it, just as well as he caught the release and worked at sucking him dry through it.

He chuckled brazenly as the fox pushed him back, that smirk finally able to touch across his lips as he sat back, his heels digging into the ground a bit through a bend if hit knees as he pressed red bangs out of the way of emerald eyes with his fingertips shortly. "Oh, I get it." He teased boisterously. "Now that everyone's gone, you're ready to play, huh? Where was that bold attitude a minute ago?" He chuckled warmly.

Fox:
Yusuke was settled with a bland look at the teasing. He tucked a finger under the waist band of his boxers and pulled them back, only to let it go with a snap. The same finger pushed at the protruding bulge in a taunting manner. "You realize, I could leave you here in favor of getting to class on time," he scolded; however, the warm chuckle softened his features.

Leaning in the fox placed a quick peck of a kiss to Yusuke's lips before dropping down. As he'd mentioned, this needed to be done quickly; so, without preamble the underwear was pulled down and Kurama swallowed him eagerly.

A hand was lifted to push a forelock behind his ear to keep the soft strands from getting in the way. His head bobbed quickly, and his tongue swirled in all the right places, accompanied perfectly by a heavy suction.

EDDE:
He gave a sharp jump and a light yelp as his waist band snapped him, wanting to pout for the entire offense, but more interested in those sweet lips. He did pout momentarily when he only got them for a second, but again he couldn't complain about the change.

A sharp gasp pierced his chest through the merciless onslaught. Already so heavily afflicted from the excitement of the actions her taken that were garnering the return, a heavy groan pulled through him as he curled around the feeling and the redhead slightly. His fingers curled against the thigh of his pant legs as he flinched sharply against it.

Soft sound permeated his breath as he managed to peek down on the redhead through that flinch. The boy below him was absolutely as captivating as ever. Only those shorts were cupping him just right in that position to have him groaning at the view. The ponytail was bobbing and swaying with movements, almost making him look more enthusiastic purely for the movement. The last part, the part that broke him as that frantic feeling rose in him far too quickly for his own liking; the part that stopped him from being able to hold it just a little longer, was the thought of being caught as it ran through his mind again. And it wasn't just being caught.

As he looked over the boy pleasing him in far too mighty of a way, the thought was that if they were caught, they would be caught in this position, and that threw a far sharper thrill down his spine than the thought being caught opposite did. Through a heavy cadence of low groans and sharp breaths, Yusuke's back arched and his hips jumped forward sharply as the fox's skill proved easily outweigh his tolerance for the wonderful attention much too quickly for him. A sharp flare of color pierced his cheeks as he attempted to land a pout he couldn't quite manage on the redhead.

As he calmed, a thought struck him, and his embarrassment ebbed away as that earlier smirk etched back into his features. "So how do you like my influence now, Shuichi?" It was said in a way the rung as a heavy tease, considering what he'd done, and had gotten Shuichi to do.

Fox:
Relieved that he could please the detective enough to make this quick. He really did want to have time in the locker room to wash, he was sweating even more now from their activities. At the very least, if he couldn't shower, he'd like to be able to towel himself down. Otherwise, the rest of the day would be uncomfortable.

The fox swallowed eagerly, easily able to take it down. When he pulled up, he licked his lips slowly, enjoying the taste still lingering there. Sitting back, he took the time to tuck himself back into shorts before offering the same courtesy to the detective. He was even kind enough to zip up his pants.

The question caught his off guard, though it really shouldn't have. His cheeks flared red, because he'd not just enjoyed it, he adored it. "Not at all," he answered, looking away with a huff that puffed his cheeks a little. "Why would I like such a thing." Kurama didn't wait for a response, instead he got up quickly and was quick to run around the bleachers. He offered a quick, 'I'll see you on the roof for lunch,' before his disappeared around the corner.

EDDE:
Nodding toward the lunch date, the detective chuckled warmly as the boy took off. "He~ liked it," he assured himself cheekily as he hopped up and moved around to the side the bleachers to watch his retreat. There was no helping it. Kurama looked so freakin good walking away. And he really did like that outfit the fox; it just made it that much better. Maybe he'd have to come around earlier more often, too.

Smiling once he was out of view, Yusuke turned around to grab his belongings. He stopped in his tracks as beady little eyes stared up at him from the perch Puu had taken on his briefcase. An odd, in no way thrilling, chill rolled down his spine as he recognized it had been there the whole time, and had most likely watched them too. "Stop staring at me you freaky little puppet." It was growled out lightly as he moved over and collected everything, including the beast. He couldn't help but chuckle at the thought that the thing had probably a great view, though.

As he made his way around, surprising himself with how sneaky he could actually be, he found it was rather exciting to make it all the way to the roof without being seen. Of course, since most students were in class by the time he went about roaming the halls, it was a lot easier.

It didn't take long for the boy to grow bored. By the time the redhead would come to find him, he'd finally settled on a bench in the shade, lying down with his hand behind his head, a bent knee that supported the other, and a slowly kicking foot while he messed with Puu's ears a bit cruelly with his free hand.

Fox:
He couldn't look at them, the three who'd been so close to finding him in a terribly compromising situation. If they walked passed him in the hall or glanced at him during class the fox constantly looked away with casual nonchalance that disguised his utter embarrassment. At least he managed to pay attention during class, an issue he'd had the day before. The periods before lunch were filled with a deep humiliation that he hid with his usual polite smile and demeanor.

Free period came around and Kurama gathered his things from his locker and made his way to the roof with bento box in hand. The door to the roof was opened carefully and Kurama peeked his head out to be sure no other students had gathered on the roof. Though he supposed they would have run for the hills the moment they saw Yusuke. Who was lounging boredly on the bench, and Kurama joined him. "Yusuke," he greeted simply, curtly.

His lunch was unwrapped, the cover removed to show another beautifully made meal. Of course it contained the usual sushi rolls, but the rest were things Yusuke had told his mother that he liked. It wasn't offered, the fox simply beginning to eat with his nose slightly lifted in the air with a hint of color in his cheeks that he'd been forcing away for the passed few hours. Sulking. Shuichi was sulking after experiencing something so embarrassing and yet so very good.

EDDE:
The detective rolled his head to the side until Shuichi was in full view, smiling lightly as he let the poor beast go and it escaped into the garden area quickly to be away from the boy. He sat up through a full body wave movement, a light 'hup' sound from him through the movement. "Yo." He said cheerily.

He moved over next to the redhead, his head tilted a bit for the odd pose the fox was taking. "Somethin' up?" He asked curiously.

His attention was drawn from the question almost instantly as the food was revealed. A bright smile bloomed over his face as he noticed the change in the made lunch from the day before. "Oh wow," he cooed cheerily. His attention was tempted almost fully toward the meal upon seeing some of the foods he'd listed off to the sweet woman. "You're gonna share with me, right Shuichi?" It was meant as a rhetorical question, further showing his appreciation for what the woman had to have done on purpose, as he had no reason to believe the fox wouldn't be.

Fox:
"Of course not," a very blatant lie that came with a darker coloring in his cheeks. Yusuke was pretty much being given the cold shoulder, the only way of retaliation he could come up with... No, it was the only solution that fit the crime, and that he was willing to follow through with. He picked up an octopus shaped mini sausage and ate it simply while Yusuke fawned over the food.

The question was met with a puffy huff. "I refuse," the fox answered once he'd swallowed his mouthful.

EDDE:
Yusuke blinked a bit as he was refused the delicious looking food. He pouted lightly as he watched the redhead, a curious look falling over him for a moment as he thought about it. He grew bored of it quickly and turned his own nose up as he crossed his arms, though a smile was playing across his face.

"Well be stingy then," he offered casually. "That just means I'll have to make more tonight."

He relaxed, the smile turning on the other teen as he offered up a finger for his thought while informing him of the decision he'd come to. "By the way. You're coming to my place for dinner tonight since I went to your house."

His attention shifted back down to the food as he went on. "I know how to cook a few things pretty good," he added, shrugging lightly. "My mom can't cook to save her life. Plus, if she actually comes home, it won't be until morning, and trust me, if she can't cook normal, you really don't want to let her near the stove then." The last bit of it was chuckled out before his smile again returned the redhead.

"Anyway, what should I make us?" The boy obviously expected him to attend the 'invite' and didn't seem to take into account that he actually had the option not to come.

Fox:
An eyebrow raised at the declaration, and while his cold shoulder tactic demanded he refuse once more he couldn't bring himself to do it. While still 'upset' with the boy beside him, Kurama reluctantly offered up the bento box to share by holding it out towards Yusuke. Though, he still couldn't bring himself to look at the teen. Just the shortest glance was enough to bring heat rushing back to his face to pool there and turn his cheeks red enough to match his hair.

"I am not a picky eater," Kurama offered, taking in the information about Yusuke's mother but making no comment on it. "I am sure what ever you come up with, I will enjoy." Just as he seemed to enjoy everything else he did.

EDDE:
Yusuke tilted his head lightly as the food was offered up but the teen didn't look his way. Still smiling, he took light grip of the box via surrounding the fox's hands with his own and guided it back down into the redhead's lap for the moment. He would definitely want some, but hid attention was fully on the other teen as he continued to look him over through that smile whether he was willing to look back or not.

"Sure, but what kinda food do you like?" It was a curious question on its own, but honestly, and while he wouldn't be willing to admit as much aloud, he kind of wanted to make the fox something he liked over just whatever. "It's like at your house, right?" He added in attempt of pulling it out of him. "You're the guest."

Fox:
As valiantly as he tried, Kurama just couldn't stay unhappy. The bento box was guided back to his lap, warm hands covering his own and the fox let out a sigh. The cold shoulder worked more against him than it seemed to work on his partner. Still, when his gaze turned to Yusuke there was a heavy flutter in his stomach and a hard pounding in his chest. The thrill of their earlier activities coming back in a humming vibration through his whole body. How undignified.

"I enjoy seafood dishes," he offered. "Nothing extravagant." He thought for a moment on a more specific meal. Kurama had many dishes he enjoyed, some of them expensive others not. "I suggest a shrimp stir fry, if you have no qualms."

EDDE:
He filed the bit if information about him liking seafood away, having little doubt he'd probably forget it eventually. Chuckling lightly, the teen nodded. "Sure." How hard could stir fry be not to fuck up? He didn't think it could be all that hard to figure out. He didn't cook real meals very often, so there was very little he'd attempted before. Mostly it was simple breakfast stuff.

Nipping up the extra chopsticks, he began picking at and trying the foods he liked, leaning closer to the fox to do so. Shiori even made the foods he liked better than the way he liked them, and... well he liked that. After trying a few things, he sat back and looked over redhead, taking in the change from his PE garb. "Hey Shuichi," he started with a curious tone in his voice that matched the one on his face. "How come you don't wear your hair up more? " He chuckled out thought process as to where the question came from. "Ya know, I almost didn't recognize you earlier." His current appearance was easily more recognizable, even with the cute look on his face right now.

He'd attempted to avoid it, but simply couldn't help himself as he huffed a deep sigh and evened a look him. "Alright. First your stingy, now you're acting cute." He leaned just a bit closer as he looked over the color on his cheeks. "Mind sharing with the rest of the class?"

Fox:
The out of the blue question set him free of the horrible shame for a few moments. "It's not for any particular reason," he answered, a hand absently lifting to comb his fingers through his hair in a familiar show of his vulpine vanity. It was becoming a habit around Yusuke, and he found he didn't mind. "I suppose I could, if you enjoyed it."

Kurama couldn't argue, even without being able to see himself he was sure he must look quite the sight. "What took place behind the bleachers was completely inappropriate and cannot be permitted to happen again." That shouldn't have been as hard to say as it was, but he wanted it to happen again. Then maybe again... Maybe behind the supply shed. The fox took another sushi roll and lifted it to his lips.

EDDE:
His face tinged a shade darker at the offer, not sure if he'd managed to be obvious in the fact that he'd liked it, but becoming easily embarrassed that it might have come off that way. His attention trailed away in that familiar way the sweet affecting tended to bring. "Your hair's fine however you wanna wear it," he pointed out through somewhat of a mumble. And he meant it. He liked the way Kurama looked regardless, though basically saying as much only served to darken the shade on his face a bit more.

He snapped out of it as he listened to Kurama's gripe. Looking back at him as a far too innocent smile slapped its way across his face. "I agree completely," he started with a bit of a nod. "So then, we won't do that behind the bleachers again." He specified as the next nod was more definitive.

Fox:
That had been... far too easy. Green eyes finally fell on Yusuke, and this time his face didn't burn red. Suspicion was easily concealed, and he wondered if Yusuke would indulge in word play. Not behind the bleachers. Then other places were okay. With a soft hum he decided it wasn't worth pondering over. Another bite was taken before the bento was set down between them on the bench.

Kurama shifted through his briefcase to pull out the hair tie he'd used before. "Truly, Yusuke," the fox started while lifting up the puffy mane of hair and somehow taming it under the tie. "If you would like to see my hair up, you need only ask." The pale white flesh of his throat was exposed to the detective, and a small love bite darkened the skin over his pulse.

EDDE:
He kept his thoughts to himself, really pleased that his very specific answer was grazed over. He'd have to have a look around Shuichi's school to find other at least partially secluded spots for fooling around like that now, but at least it would give him something to do while he was bored. The bleachers could be saved for other acts.

He picked at the lunch more as he watched the redhead dig in his bag curiously. Color touched his cheeks again as he was called out all over again, his eyes drawn to the exposed neck.

He pondered over the realization that he had an odd liking for the redhead's slender neck. He felt it was a weird thing to be so attracted to as his attention drifted over pale skin. Especially with so many other body parts to choose from that he could have a particular liking to. As his eyes landed on the dark marks her left on against pale skin, he found he liked his hair up even more at the moment, as it showed off the attention he'd given him previously so well.

He smiled, leaning in and placing his lips gently over the mark he was closest to. "I do like your hair up." It was muttered against tenderized flesh before he pulled away, a warm heat in his eyes as he looked the other teen over once again.

His tongue traveled over his own lower lip subconsciously as he reached out and cupped Shuichi's chin around the jaw. Moving closer, he tugged him in and kissed him happily; nothing short of innocent as he offered a quick nip to the other boy's lip before pulling away just a bit. "I'll remember to ask next time," he added warmly.

Fox:
Yusuke's eyes on him... Kurama tilted his head to stretch out his neck in an almost provocative manner. Though doing so in such a simple movement was difficult. The fox pulled his pony tail to the side, and let out a soft sigh as the tender flesh was kissed so softly. The kiss didn't last long enough, lips leaving the bruised skin tingling slightly. "I believe I do as well." If it could get the detective to look at him that way, he would be certain to wear it up on certain occasions.

It was easy to relax into the innocent kiss, his earlier agitation forgotten with the soft touch. "You may continue, if you would like." The offer was made with a gentle hand guiding Yusuke to his throat once more, and tilting his head back just a bit.

EDDE:
"I'd like that too." The raven-haired teen offered a smile as the delicate touch pulled him back toward Shuichi's throat. He turned in his seat, one knee bending on the bench and pulling behind the fox as the other straightened a bit behind himself on the ground to move closer. Allowing the guide, tender kisses were pressed against abused flesh all over again after short offerings of appreciation through that warmly heated gaze for the state he'd put it in. His right hand lifted and gently fell over the opposite side of his neck, gruff fingers trailing over smooth skin as they gave lengthy, sweet pets.

The idea came about on its own from somewhere, reminding him of the sweet attention he'd given to abused nipples, and soft kisses mingled with gently grooming licks each time he passed over the small bruises as he explored redhead's neck entirely on its own. There was the want to speak on it, and plenty of words he could find in order to do so, but his mouth was busy with the far more entertaining aspect at the moment. There was also the fact that he tended to say things that didn't pan out for him all too great at times like this. So instead, he kept his focus the bit of worship he was playing across the fox's skin.

Fox:
He'd enjoyed all of it far too much. The fox managed to stay alert in class this time, even as his thoughts wandered to the detective and how much he liked it when Yusuke was watching him. By the time school ended and he'd made it home to shower and change Kurama decided he wanted to garner more of that attention for their dinner date. That explained the garb he was wearing when he knocked on Yusuke's door.

A white, high collared, sleeveless tank came just short of covering the few marks left on his neck after the attention his neck was given on the roof. To further expose them his hair was pulled up into a ponytail though this time using his own hair as the tie. Black jeans clung to the redhead's hips and back side; the legs tucked into dark boots. The fox looked at his arms and was glad he left the gloves behind. Kurama was already a little worried that such a show would be too much as it was.

EDDE:
Yusuke had spent enough time offering the grooming of that beautiful neck that he'd begun to feel a bit awkward about it. He'd pulled away eventually with that little chuckle of his and some silly words that lacked offense to lighten the mood, and they'd talked for a bit about absolutely nothing of significance. Having brought up the awkward dinner from the night before again had reminded him let the other boy know to meet him at his house, as he wouldn't be waiting for him today because he had several things to do prepare for dinner. When Shuichi's lunch was over, he followed him part way to class on his way out, going on about how he was going to make something that rivaled Shiori's cooking, though he was pretty sure they both knew that probably wasn't going to happen.

Upon returning home he showered and changed into something more comfortable; a pair of crisp, tight jeans that he wore often enough when not in uniform, and a loose-fitting white T-shirt. He didn't bother to gel his hair back considering all the work he had to do.

Partially as an apology for having put Kurama into an awkward enough position upset him for a while, and considering they would be fully alone for the night the first time since this... whatever it was, had started; he wanted to make it special. There was also the hopeful thought on his mind that the dinner date he'd set up might go further considering their track record, and it made him think on how else he might be able to spruce up the night.

He set about fussing over the house. It was a horrible stye thanks to his lack of presence for so long, and cleaning it was a bigger chore than he'd expected when he started. That woman honestly couldn't take care of herself without him. While he tended to mind this a great deal, he couldn't bring himself to be put into a bad mood by it on this fine day, as he had something he was far too focused on looking forward to.

When Keiko showed up after school ended to lecture and force him to take a pile of homework (for as far back as she could carry on her own), she reemed him a bit less than usual when she noticed the overwhelming mess he was dealing with. And when he mentioned casually that the fox would be over that night, she even helped him clean after making him promise to ask for help with his schoolwork, and not just play around all night.

He'd had a snarky comment for her in asking if she really thought the redhead would let him screw around the whole time that actually seemed to end her nagging quite well, because she figured he wouldn't. It was Kurama after all. When he told her about the attempt he was making at dinner, after raving about the sweet and caring woman he'd met the night before and her awesome cooking, she hurried off and left him alone to finish cleaning.

He was glad for it though, as he was beginning to feel a bit awkward with her presence as dinner drew closer, though he didn't fully grasp why. Still, he couldn't help but find her fussing over him funny and cute, especially when she returned not long after with a recipe in one hand and a bag of ingredients in the other, letting him know she was glad was taking an interest in something worthwhile for once; so she was rewarding him with a few things from the restaurant to help him not make a total buffoon out of himself in front of his friend. She left him red in the face for the mean but sweet sentiment shortly after that.

Before starting dinner, he did a once over if the house. It was clean, and smelled way better than when he'd started thanks to the bag of flowery stuff he'd found in the bathroom cabinet while cleaning. There wasn't much, but the scent was just overwhelming enough that it got rid of the lingering smell of trash bags that probably hadn't been taken out since the day he'd left for training, along with a few open windows of course. Since it had pedals in it, he used it in place of a cheesy romantic gesture he'd seen on TV and in movies.

The spreading of rose pedals seemed like too much, plus the only place he could really think of to get any was maybe from Kurama, which was a thought that made him feel a bit more dense than usual. Since there wasn't much, he'd presented them in the hall in a small trail leading to his bedroom instead of across it. That stuff was strong enough to give him a headache on a good day, so he was glad that it was turning out to be a great one, and that it helped the earlier smell in the place immensely.

He would be glad for the open windows as he started cooking, as he was not nearly as adept at it as he'd been hoping. First, he'd added too much sauce, and couldn't seem to fix the taste after, but that didn't really matter because not long from then as he was making the attempt, he somehow managed to burn the shit out of it. Even though it was what Shuichi had asked for, he only allowed himself to wallow in the failure through the time it took to throw it out.

And he didn't give up there, either. He was determined to fix something other than TV dinners, and he found they had the stuff to make some simple tomato-based pasta as he searched through his cupboards. Although that was pretty much all they had in terms of real food.

Another long story short, he managed to screw that up nearly as bad. The kitchen was a mess again, there was no food, and Kurama would probably be getting there any time. Pouting through his immense failure, he popped the kettle onto the stove and flopped into a chair at the dining room table and pulled out a smoke.

He looked over the place settings, sighing for the lack in need of the plates and such he'd gotten ready. The silly little tea light candles he'd set up as a ridiculous center piece, at which point he was beginning to feel like he'd gone overboard, were now much more appreciated even though they wouldn't give the atmosphere he'd been going for. He'd found them while cleaning, and had put out and taken them away variously through the end of his cleaning session.

Upon finishing his cigarette, he stared at them again; then groaned and ruffled at his hair, feeling more and more ridiculous as the minutes ticked by. Hopping up, he grabbed his tennis shoes and went to the entry way. Tapping them on, he decided that he'd wait there for Shuichi to make his appearance, not wanting to show off the ridiculously sappy work he'd put into a failed dinner, and would make the offer to go out to eat somewhere simple instead.

Just as he got his shoes on the knock came, and on opening the door he completely lost his mind set. There stood the redhead in a savvy, incredibly complimentary state. Before he could even to stop himself as he gazed over the site, a far too giddy expression crossed his face and he blurted out, "Damn Shuichi, you look hot." Which was promptly followed by a harsh heat against his face as he turned his attention away momentarily.

It landed back on the primped teen pretty quickly in order to take in the appearance all over again as he toed of his shoes and stepped further inside, fully forgetting his previous plan of action at the spine-tingling distraction that had presented itself. "Don't just stand there, come in." The offer had the heat melting away as he moved even a bit further inside, for some reason feeling the need to give the other better girth to follow through that didn't make any sense; especially since he wanted nothing more than to get much, much closer in order to explore that new look further.

When the redhead complied, he would lead him into the dining room, only to recognize his previous train if thought as he took note of those candles again and flushed over in a mad blush that couldn't be covered up. "So, dinner," he added quietly. "It didn't quite go as planned..." his attention drifted off in the direction of the kitchen, able to see the horrible mess from where they stood. He wouldn't have thought it possible earlier, but it was shaping up already to feel as though tonight's dinner might be even more awkward than the previous night's.

Fox:
The moment the door opened the fox's senses were brutally assaulted. A lingering scent of trash, the smokey aroma of burnt food. These alone would have been insulting to his nose, but an insult he could have taken in stride; however, the overpowering stench of potpourri Offended his senses enough to curl his nose hairs. Kurama made no expression of this, even if he'd wanted to the giddy look on Yusuke's face was more than enough of a distraction.

Kurama preened at the compliment, hand lifting to provide the usual hair flip, but was only able to flick a forelock behind his shoulder. The gesture worked well enough. "I'm glad you approve," he said while stepping inside at the offer. The door shut and Kurama reached out to brush his fingers over the gelless bangs. "You are quite pleasing to the eye as well, Yusuke."

The sight he was greeted with had green eyes widening just a bit. He wondered how in the three worlds Yusuke managed to make such a mess in the kitchen, but they softened the moment they set on the candles. Cute. "That is quite alright," he assured, walking towards the disaster of a kitchen. "If you'll permit it, I'm sure I could find something to help you cook; also," he paused beside the detective and offered him a soft kiss. "I find the candles endearing."

EDDE:
His eyes diverted from the simple touch, the softest hint of a pout on his lips as he muttered, "Ch. Not like I did something special or anything." He felt a bit off for that despite the special care he'd put into everything else. And the look he had for the candles said he didn't find them quite so endearing considering he hadn't wanted to show off the care he'd put into the stupid frilly touches for dinner, and had forgotten entirely the moment he'd caught sight of the redhead. A horrible blush bashed him in the face all over again as the candles were mentioned. "I just found 'em." He downplayed yet again, though the little thrill in his notice, and the kiss that was planted on him, was evident in his features.

He managed to slide in front of the other teen on the way to the kitchen, a silly grin touching his lips as he was overwhelmed with a want to not allow Shuichi to see how badly they needed a shopping trip. Not to mention how much worse off the kitchen actually was than what could be seen through the frame. His hands lifted to his shoulders in defense, a bit of a chuckle passing through him. "Nah. Don't worry about it. I already know what we have left to cook. It won't take much longer." Thinking on it for a moment, he looked over his shoulder at the disaster area he'd cleaned up once today. "You just relax, and I'll be out in a minute." He added warmly. Kurama was his guest, so that should be enough of a reason for him not to feel the need to help out, right?

Still determined not to have TV dinners, there was really only one option left, and within a few minutes he returned to the dining room with the ready-made soup bowls, that sharp color set in his face despite the cocky grin he managed as he announced, "Ta da. It just so happens tonight's special is not top ramen... although it's really close." He laughed out the last part.

"It's not anything fancy, but trust me. You don't wanna try either of the other things I made." A short shiver of disgust, coupling with a grossed-out noise hit him as he thought about it. "I know. I did." The insistence was a light one as he set the premade noodle bowls out on the table for them.

Fox:
"Oh?" His curiosity bubbled at the defensive pose Yusuke took. Kurama peeked over his shoulder into the kitchen and wondered just what it was that the detective wanted to hide. Tempted to talk his way into helping, the fox allowed the other to go regardless. An agreeing nod was his response and Kurama watched the teen slide into the kitchen before turning his attention to the table. That attention shifted quickly enough when he caught sight of the source of the overpowering smell.

Potpourri was sprinkled across the floor in a path. He glanced at the kitchen before deciding to follow it. Why would Yusuke sprinkle such a thing on the floor? The answer became clear the longer he followed the trail. It led to Yusuke's room and the strongly scented flowers were sprinkled over the bed and floor. Heat touched his cheeks and excitement rolled through him at the implications... and his stomach churned at the thought of such an act while laying across the dried petals.

Kurama returned just as Yusuke did and he settled at the table. "I didn't realize I'd be such trouble." His tone was teasing as he reached for the nearby lighter. He thought briefly of its intended use of lighting cigarettes, such a terrible habit; but those were thoughts for a different time. Instead, with a flick of his thumb it was ignited, and the fox lit the two tea candles. "Perhaps next time I could aid in the cooking. I have a feeling it would be an entertaining activity."

EDDE:
Yusuke chuckled lightly for the comment as he watched the redhead light the candles. Still seeming the slightest bit sensitive for their placement as a bit of color lit his cheeks again. He brushed it off through his answer as he shrugged while taking a seat. "It's not a big deal." He offered genuinely through a smile. "Just do me a favor and don't mention how shitty I did to Keiko, will ya?"

He chuckled again, but paused he remembered the deal he'd struck with the girl. Debating it, he decided not to ask, honestly not willing to risk interrupting their night for something he cared as little about as schoolwork. "I'll take help next time," he added with a nod. "Although I'm still not sure what happened. I mean I followed her recipe..." He remembered the issue he'd had with the sauce as he reminisced the screw up. "Well, at least until then..." Offering a laugh, he added, "And how hard it it to cook pasta, anyway?"

Fox:
"Not a word," he promised with a chuckle, and yet the mention of the girl irritated him far more than it should. As strangely as it felt, Kurama didn't want the detective to think of anyone but him. When did he become so possessive of Yusuke? He left that thought for later consideration. "Pasta?" The fox looked at Yusuke curiously. "It's quite simple," he offered. "Boil water and simmer the sauce." His tone was even and yet he couldn't fathom how Yusuke could make such a mess while making pasta of all things. "How did you attempt to cook it exactly?"

Kurama waved it off with a hand before he turned to the meal presented to him. "This seems more suitable," he offered in condolence. "Ready-made soup is more common for teenagers, is it not?" It was delightful in its own way, and the fox was happy to begin eating. "It is also more common to use rose petals when leading someone to your bed," this was said with a chuckle mingled in a suggestive purr.

EDDE:
That had been what he meant about the pasta of course. He smiled at the generous graze over his skills in the kitchen. Although that horrible color plastered over his face again as his focus turned down quickly on his food as he took a quick mouth full of noodles. Composing himself as he ate the bite, he offered another chuckle as he moved into that last part at his own pace.

"I dunno about anyone else, but it's sure as Hell normal for me." He commented lightly before his offense at the meal he'd tried to cook up rise in him again. "Well, I managed to make the noodles some kinda slimy and hard, and they never really boiled." He pouted. "But the sauce sure did."

Shaking his head, he added, "The stir fry was more annoying. I mean, I had it spelled out right in front of me, and even if I hadn't added all that sauce, it shouldn't have burnt like that." He became rather serious he asked a question about that. "You know about cooking, right? So, it tells me to fry it over medium high heat, right? So, I turned it to high. I mean, it's not like there are a whole lot of options over medium high; just the one. So why the hell would it say that if it's just gonna burn the shit out of it? And I was mixing the hell out of it, too." And he was just so serious about it, for how perfectly annoying it was.
