“I’m getting maintenance on my sword, so we’re stopping here for a bit!” She said happily.

Yuko cupped her mouth with her hands and took a deep breath, "Bo-chan!!"
"A-Ah, Yuko-chan, don't just go yelling like that!" One of the kakushi panicked.

Mitsuri looked a little confused at Yuko, but then remembered the sword smith that had stopped by the lodge to deliver Yuko’s blade to her. “Oh! That’s right, you kn-”
“Yuko!” It was a miracle Botan had managed to hear Yuko, despite how loud she had called for her friend, the village was still quite large. The young woman came running, clearly having been still in the middle of working on something, sleeves tied back and covered in black oil smudges.

"Ah, did I disrupt your work? Gomen! I was very excited when I realized where we were!" Yuko said when Botan appeared, smiling brightly.

“Oh don’t worry about it, I was almost finished anyway!” She seemed especially excited, holding up the object in her hand. “I just had to clean it, but it’s ready to go.” It was a weapon she had never seen before, something that resembled a rifle with two barrels, but both barrels were rather short.

“Ah!” She held it up proudly, her grin practically audible behind her mask. “It’s called a double-barreled shot gun, isn’t it great? It’s a western design I’ve been dying to try out, and Shinazugawa-san seemed to like the weapon too, so I’ve made it for him!”

Yuko's eyes were wide, a terrified smile hiding under her coverings, "Shinazugawa-san?" She repeated before imagining Sanemi with such a weapon. How awful! Sanemi with such a scary thing! He was double scary now!

“Yeah, he’s here somewhere waiting until everything is ready, I think all that’s left is to make the ammunition and his blade.” She made a soft noise, as if getting lost in thought. “Ah!” Botan became rigid, quickly turning and bowing to Mitsuri. “Forgive me, I completely ignored everyone else!”
“It’s alright!” Mitsuri laughed softly. “You we’re catching up with a dear friend, weren’t you?”

Yuko turned quickly, biting her tongue hard to fight a scream from moving her leg wrong. Her eyes shivered with pain before she bowed.
"I'm so sorry, Mitsuri-sama! I was so disrespectful!"

Mitsuri waved her hand, putting another hand over her mouth to hide her smile. “Really, it’s okay, if you want to catch up, I have to take my sword in anyway! We’ll all be staying at the inn here, so we can just meet up later!”

Mitsuri said her goodbyes before heading off with the other kakushi, leaving her with Botan.
“Ne.. it seems like your leg is still really bothering you, it hasn’t gotten any better?” Botan asked, a tone of concern in her voice.

Yuko looked and removed her coverings, smiling sadly, "You noticed? It is better, just twisting too fast or too much flares it up. I think I need better medicine or something."

“Well the onsen here works wonders on the body..” She mused. “And if that doesn’t work, I still have that prosthetic blueprint you could take a look at!”

“I’ll have to finish up my work here, but I can bring you the blueprints tonight when I’m done!” Botan said, holding up the gun in her hand again.

She nodded and gave a nervous scan of the area to see if she spotted Sanemi anywhere.
"I'll be with Mitsuri-sama. I won't be far." She smiled.

Botan nodded and waved before hurrying back to finish her tasks, close to finishing up for the night. How had Sanemi gotten ahead of them? Was it when she had to go meet up with Mitsuri, or perhaps Botan was mistaken.

She was so scared of running into Sanemi, especially after he said he had important things to do. When she turned, she saw a young man who resembled ber old master to the letter, he had the same eyes and scowl on his face. It was then she remembered very briefly that Sanemi mentioned once or twice that he had a brother. What was his name again?? She thought hard amd fast, not wanting him to disappear before she spoke to him. It started with a G...
"Ah! Genya-san!" She called, and he froze, turning sharply to yell at her before he realized it was a woman, and he scurried away in an embarrassed flurry. She blinked, confused, before hurrying after him, "Wait!"

When Yuko rounded the corner, she nearly ran into someone, but it wasn’t Genya. A young man with a small build and long hair avoided her by inches, a dazed look on his face. “Hey.. You should really watch where your going..”

"Ah...! Oh! Muichiro-sama!" She moved and bowed quickly, "Gomen! I really wasn't paying attention!" She moved aside quickly, "Don't let me hinder you, I'm sorry again."

Muichiro blinked slowly, watching Yuko hurty off down the hall with a blank expression, dull eyes following her. “Do I… know her..?” He muttered softly to himself.

((BLESS))

Yuko had lost sight of Genya after nearly running into Muichiro and sighed, heading off to the guest house to return to Mitsuri.
