Highlights

    • Live Life To The Fullest: This challenge includes 365 cards with daily challenges to help push you out of your comfort zone and into something way cooler.
    • Fly Solo (Or Soar Together): Though this challenge is intended for YOU to push yourself, you can totally try a card with a friend, sibling, or coworker! Personal gains will occur either way.
    • Side Effects May Include: Feeling happier, feeling more fulfilled, being more confident, knowing your worth, and more.

So a friend of mine bought me this game for Christmas. She knows I’ve been struggling just to kind of exist as of late or at least exist at a little bit slower pace. I am certainly going to try to employee this challenge and if anyone would like to go on this adventure with me, please feel free!

I will be starting this on January 1st, 2023. I will post the card I’ve drawn for that day and I will post my response.

I may not do every single challenge I post and if anyone is participating with me, you don’t have to do every single one either.

There is no right or wrong way to do a challenge. Be creative! There will be hashtags at the top of the cards as well when posted, you can look into them and see what other people are doing in that particular challenge and maybe get some ideas on how you can do the challenge if you’re stuck.

The whole point is to have fun and challenge yourself! I look forward to some good company in this challenging adventure and new year!

PS: To any of my partners that may be reading and participating……I’m putting a challenge on myself not related to the game…..to actually get off my ass and get replies to you guys! I miss playing with you all!

Happy New Year, Everyone! 🎊🍾🪩💃🏻

Let’s do this thing!

The name "Rachel" has a long history. In the Bible, Rachel was the wife of Jacob and the mother of Joseph and Benjamin. They became two of the twelve tribes of Israel.

The name Rachel is of Hebrew origin and is derived from the Hebrew word rāchēl, meaning "ewe."

  • Origin: Rachel is a Hebrew name meaning "ewe."

The name Rachel has been popular for over 100 years, according to the Social Security Administration 2020 data. In 1900 it entered the Top 200 baby names at No.153. Since then, the name has been holding rank in the Top 200. IN 1968, it pushed through into the Top 100 at No. 92.

Between the mid-1980s and throughout the 1990s, the name maintained a position in the Top 20 and reached its peak popularity in 1996 at No. 9

In the last 20 years, though, the name has fallen in rank, though it has still been featured in the Top 200 names until 2019. In 2020, the name ranked at No 227.

Oh absolutely! I would love to see what other people are doing with these as well. And yes, right here is just fine. 🖤 I’m going to be posting Day 2 here in just a few minutes! It was a good one! 🤗

Day 2!

I went a little extra on this one. Why say one kind thing when I can (hopefully!) start a landslide with it! I tweaked the objective for the day, I wrote a kind note and did leave it in public but I added an extra note within (as seen below). Hopefully it catches 🔥 and spreads like crazy! If not, I still hopefully make at least one persons day with a few kind words. ❤️

Ay! Ay! Ay! Almost forgot to post Day 4……but here we are…..👀

IMG_2422.jpg

Day 4!

Went to StarBucks this morning. Bought myself a breakfast sandwich, since I don't drink coffee myself. Also got Reno a belated Birthday Pupcup!

And then I did this 👆🏻 times 2 actually! Paid for the two cars behind me. Hopefully it put a smile on their faces today. ❤️🫶🏻

Day 5!

I find the ancient pyramids of Egypt fascinating in and of themselves because…..no matter how many are found, we are truly unfamiliar with them on an individual basis. What each contains is always so vastly different, what remains are contained with in……different when finally opened.

So I chose to watch Secrets of The Saqqara Tomb.

Absolutely fascinating! 🖤

Damn, that sounds cool. I'll have to check it out.

Yesterday I bought some fried chicken for my neighbor, as we tend to trade meals here and there. She appreciated it greatly and thanks for inspiring the idea.

I find ancient Egypt in general greatly fascinating. I’ve actually watched quite a few different ancient Egyptian documentaries but like I said…..I think each one is just fascinatingly different.

This one….they find a funerary temple and the oldest coffins in Saqqara.

They found a baby lion in the Bubasteum, which seems to be a pretty rare occurrence.

They found a clay and bone senet set. An ancient Egyptian game, that by the looks of it resembles chess.

Just…..way freakin’ cool documentary, if I do say so myself.

That is a beautiful thing! ❤️ My best friend (rest her soul, she passed in 2020.), back about 22 years ago, when we were just starting to get to know each other…..I’d moved into the same apartments she was in, right across the lawn from her and her kids. Her youngest and my only were literally just not even a month apart in age. Neither of us rich bitches by any means, lol. But we found ourselves going back and forth and when she was down and out and having a hard time putting a meal together for herself and the kids, I’d make a bigger meal and share with her and vice versa. So thank you for taking that inspiring idea and going with it. ❤️ I love it! ❤️

Day 6!

I was a cute kid! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Always had those chunky cheeks and that fantastic hair (no matter what I do to it!)! 💅🏻❤️

Day 7!

My Challenge is to cut way back on my Diet Pepsi intake. I've needed to for quite a while now, suppose it's time I buckle down and do so, eh!? Soooo……lesssssss go!

Day 8!

Ok, so it's not exactly a "paint" by number but "color" by number works just as well, right? Right!

Day 9!

Been in bed with a relentless sinus congestion headache most of the day but the few hours I was up, I decided to watch Wednesday, finally!

#betterthanyesterday #betterthanyesterday188

A bit late but on the previous one, I'll start a 30-day challenge to curb sweets entirely, so no extra sugars of any kind, no chocolate, no soda either. Should help a ton.
That’s wonderful! I don’t consume alot of chocolate really, so that is one sweet I’m not so worried about. I do however consume way way way more Diet Pepsi than one person should! And no worries! No rules, so you’re never late! 🤗

Day 10!

This is by absolutely no means a full compilation of places I want to go and see. Nor is this in any sort of order……except the number 1 spot! That one is absolutely at the top of my list and if I make it to no other place in my lifetime……I absolutely have to go to New Orleans! 🖤 So who wants to take me!? 👀

Day 11!

Ok, so I could have gone a couple different ways about this to be honest but I went with a generalized type of search and went from there. Ghosts, Hauntings, Paranormal, Supernatural…..whatever you want to term it as……it fascinates me for a variety of reasons. So that's where I started…."Haunted Michigan Wikipedia" and I stumbled upon a subject that actually is not new to me, though much of what I found IS new to me. Eloise Asylum has always fascinated me and I got the privilege of exploring the grand dame back during the Covid pandemic. She is hauntingly beautiful and terrifying all at the same time. Heartbreaking. My heart goes out to the souls that still linger within her walls. And I have my own feelings on her being turned into a silly manufactured haunted attraction…..but it is what it is.

I chose Eloise Cemetery to virtually explore first because I know even less on that subject than the building(s) and their history.

I still have a few more rabbit holes to explore on this card but here is what I have stumbled upon thus far.

I figured today was a good day to do this. Clear out any bad energies that might have crept in on this Friday the 13th!

5. Any World Cup, any location
6. The Summer Olympics especially if in America
7. Brazil
8. Argentina

10. I've been to Switzerland once before but I'ld love to go back there.

Better late than never! 😉 I am glad you are participating, even when you’re “late”! I am enjoying reading your posts. 🤗

I gotta say, that particular one was hard because……10 places just wasn’t enough for me! 🤣 But then again…..I want to go everywhere that I can.

It was tough for me too, especially since there are quite a few places I've been and would go again but I tried my hardest not to list them, haha.

Day 15!

This one was easy. I chose a rescue that I've actually followed on Facebook for quite a long while. One I've wanted to donate to for a while but until recently was struggling myself. As per usual, I went a little beyond just the suggested bag of food on the card. I went to see what Detroit Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) on their site and I picked up several things that were on their wish list. Reno (my own rescue) and I dropped off three bags worth of much needed cleaning supplies, dog and cat treats, dog and cat toys and some blankets and wet cat food as well. And Reno happily took a picture with the lovely founder of D.A.W.G., Kelley!

(P.S. The bags say "Never Stop Growing", which I think is a wonderful and appropriate message! ❤️)
