Some Kind of Paradise (butterfly0408/gray)

Isabella's face was like stone. Icey, cold, stone, "So you mean to say... you could have more feelings for a whore that has been used time and time again... then you could have feelings for someone as pure and good as me?" Clearly, she had not understood. Or if she did, she was just bitter. Bitter was more then likely it. "Has something... ignited between you and her?"

Seeing the icy features her face had taken, Roland hesitated to speak further, however, knowing he couldn't leave it at this, he spoke slowly, hoping his words did not push her further. "I'll admit there is a.. physical attraction to be sure, and beyond that...." Sighing, he found the words more difficult to say out loud then he had thought. "In any case, it would mot matter if she were here or not, the fact is, and will likely remain, that there is not anything of that sort between us, mutually at least."

Hoping she wouldn't press the issue between him and Eden, he rose from his chair, standing and continuing to look to her, his face showing that there would be no convincing him otherwise at this time.

"I see..." she said slowly and quietly as she grasped it, letting it all sink in. He did not need to say it. She knew it. He loved the little bitch. That would not do. Just they wait... for it would not do. Isabella said nothing else then. Only picked up this empty tray and left the room. He had no idea the trouble that one little maid was destined to cause...

Perhaps he did indeed underestimate how much she could cause all by herself, but as she walked away, Roland felt a sort of sickening knot form in his stomach, a feeling of impending dread looming high. However, he fought this down rather quickly, not wanting to believe that he would have yet another problem to worry about. Raising from his chair, he waited till he was sure Isabella had had plenty of time to whisk away, and then followed out the door she had used, headed to Eden's room, suddenly finding himself worried.

Upon reaching it, he paused before the wooden frame, telling himself to calm down. This he did, with a measure of difficulty, and, knocking upon the door, waited a moment before opening it, hoping he would find everything inside as it should be.

As Roland entered the room, he found Eden sitting on the bench at the foot of the bed yet again. It seemed to be her default spot in this house. It was where she waited, hands in her lap, waiting.

As he entered, Eden stood slowly and bowed her head to him. She wore the same dress yet again, "You wish for my services master?"

Halting as he entered the room, he paused for a moment, glad she seemed to be be alright, and mentally berating himself for even worrying at all.

"Not particularly, I... I suppose I just wanted to see how you were doing." Pausing here, he wondered how that sounded, wondering why he had come here at all, worrying had been a bit foolish after all, what could have happened? Still, it did him good to see that she was well and in good condition, at least, outwardly. Hesitating now, he rested against the doorway, looking as though he were considering something. Eyes flickering up to her, he realized he hadn't spoken for a time, and said the first thing that came to his mind. "It must be quite boring, waiting here all day..." a pause, and then. "Your free to tour about the ground whenever you like, the gardens are particularly colorful this time of year." small talk really, and he wondered what it was he was still doing here.

She looked at him a little confused at first. He wanted to see how she was doing? But why? Did he have reason to think otherwise? Impossible. It seemed just, odd. She noticed that he was just staring at her and just stared back. He didn't seem to notice that. As he spoke at last she snapped out of her own stare and listened intently as always. "Thank you master. Perhaps I shall partake of that later." She was small talking right back at him when in truth, as she looked at him, all she could think of was how attractive he was. She went out on a limp and spoke without thinking. Right from her heart, "Would you... walk the gardens with me?"

(A romp in the garden?)

Nodding his head at her response, he had been thinking of how to ask her if she would like to join him herself, when she beat him to it. A genuine smile crept across his face at her question, drawing a nod from the out of sorts lord. "It would be my delight." He replied near instantly, leaving no doubt he honestly meant his words.

Still, he found it odd to be saying such, mind still at odds with how he felt about her. But for now, he decided to enjoy their time together, noticing, and not for the first time, how she possessed both those qualities of beauty, both sensual and passionate, and almost shy and cute. Before meeting her, he hadn't believed such a thing possible, but she pulled it off quite well. Quite well indeed.

She didn't really know what else to say after that except, "Very well," and then a moment later, "Lead the way master." She nodded her head a moment and walked to his side, ready to follow where he would lead her. She would set off if could but had no idea where these gardens were. Perhaps once she did know, she would visit them more often. It would be nice to sit in the garden, soaking up some healthy sunlight and perhaps... she didn't know if she could dare ask, but something told her it was okay with Roland, "If you do not mind me asking but... you would not happen to have books would you? Reading in the gardens sounds lovely and I am a bit rusty on my reading skills. It would be nice to brush up on them again."

Roland could not deny himself at least a small smile as she asked about the books, one of his own preferred pastimes, and found himself glad she had been taught to read, considering it a wonderful skill. In any case, he nodded quite readily, a little embarrassed he hadn't thought to ask her himself. However, the fact that she had asked, indeed, had asked him this, seemed like a good sign to him. "Ah, thats right, it was one of the few rooms a forgot to show you, wasn't it? Almost talking to himself, he turned his gaze to her, smiling softly as he spoke. "I'll show you the library if you like, admittedly, it's not the biggest or most elegant, but I like to think it has a fairly nice selection.

"Pausing as they came to the stairs, he cocked his head, asking her a question of his own. "Your free to use it at your leisure, but.. would you like to see it now? Or shall we see the gardens first?"

"If it is on the way from here, then show me now, but do not take me out of the way when we can simply return to it later." The more Eden spoke to him, the more casual her words became and the more relaxed she seemed to be as well. It was more like to normal people having a conversation rather than a master and a slave speaking to one another. It was nice to forget for a moment, to think of herself as normal, but she could not let it be, so she added shortly after, "Whatever you wish to do master."

((Hehe, sorry, I meant to reply to the OCC twice but accidentally forgot to twice xp yes, sounds good to me. ))

Considering the comment, he shrugged and continued down the stairs, deciding she was right. "Past the door up there, theirs a set of stairs, up those another door, that would be it." He said, pointing in the direction of a door a little further down the hall from where they had been before descending the stairs. "I'll show you it later then, when we return?" Both a statement and a question, he lowered his hand continuing down the stairs and through the dinning room.

At her last words, the urge to speak jumped to his throat. However, he caught them quite by accident, not saying anything, and thinking over what it had been he meant to say. It had been an odd thing, and he decided to consider it at length later. Coming to the end of the dinning room, Roland pushed open a small door, leading to a short hall which serves as an entryway, or perhaps, an exitway was a better word, to the back yards of the manor. Holding the door for her, and ushered her out.

Eden nodded her head slightly, "Thank you master," a moment before she set out through the doorway. It was a short walk down the entry hallway but at the end of it, the small corridor opened up into the grand garden's of Roland's home. Eden had traveled far and seen much, but never had she seen such a fine garden in a private home. "Master.... this is.... it's beautiful."

Hearing the words come from her mouth, Roland couldn't help let out a small smile, remembering fond memories of this place. Before he had been left as the master of the estate, it had been a more shared residence among nobles from his family, and as a young adult, he had taken it upon himself to have the gardens as a special sort of project for himself, a collection of sorts.

Spread out in an arch before the exit, which was fixed in the center of the yard, it was arranged in a ring like structure, three levels making up it's structure, the first ring containing smaller plants and flowers, largely the latter, while the second was mostly rose bushes of various sort. And at the top, a sparse collection of large flower bearing shrubs and small tree's. Running up the cent and at the two ends of the arch, were ascending paths letting one walk about each level.

"I'm pleased you like it." He commented, smiling lightly as he leaned against the frame of the door.

She gazed out over the gardens for a few moments longer before suddenly she spun around and scurried to him, grasping his arm and tugging him towards the gardens, "Take me out and show me! I want to know all the different kinds of flowers." She wore a big smile on her face. Like a little child in a toy store almost. "Well, at least tell me the ones you know."

At first the sudden change in her demeanor gave him pause, surprised by the reaction the foliage had drawn from her. However, upon seeing the gleam in her eyes, that almost childlike spark, he discovered it's infectious quality as a smile swollowed up his own face.

"Alright." Was all he simply said, nodding once and taking her arm in return, leading them over to a wide ark of blue, tiny yellow dots visible at the center of the small multitudes of flower. "These are forget-me-nots." He said, his smile growing as he look over the swath of blue, one of his personal favorites. Leading her through the garden he showed her each of them in turn, starting with his favorites, the forget-me-nots, the rain lilly's, gardenia's, the poppies, and of course, a section devoted to the various types of roses.

((I have some pictures of these if you'd like.))

((I know my flowers well. I know them all))

Eden stopped to examine each of the flowers he showed her. Studying and writing it in her memory. Right down the the scent of it. Later as he showed her the roses, she leaned in to smell a red, red rose, placing her hand upon it's stem, "These flowers are so beautiful. I think I like the forget-me-nots best but these roses are-OW!" she pulled her hand back quickly and looked with a face twisted in a slight bit of pain at her finger. It was bleeding slightly, "Thorns..."

((^^ Good for you. Haha, sorry, just thought I'd check, not many people have in the past.))

Letting her lead him to whichever patch of flowers seemed to catch her attention, Roland allowed himself to enjoy both the garden and Eden's cheerful mood. It was good to see her like this, proof that there was in fact a part of her capable of being like this. As luck would have it, he'd been about to warn her of the thorns when she recoiled her hand in pain.

Lightly raising his own, he took her hand in one of his own, holding it up gently while his other wiped away the small trickle of blood. "It doesn't seem that bad, are you alright though?" He asked, frowning as he noticed that a small trickle had replaced the old. Without really thinking about it, he raised her hand a licked higher, and let his lips brush against the puncture, gently suckling the wound. "There we are." He noted with a kind smile as he moved away slowly, taking the tiny tip of a thorn from his teeth, likely broken off by the jerk of her finger at the sudden prick.

Eden felt her heart skip a beat as he went to start sucking at her finger. She knew it was in total innocence. He had not been thinking. He had not realized that the action of sucking at her finger would light a fire within her heart, soul, and... loins. He only had to the the slightest sexual thing and it got her attention. Got her going. She could only nod when he spoke that it was all fine again. A blush on her face, she bit her lip. God she wanted him to keep on sucking her fingers. Wanted him to suck and kiss her all over. She would say it, but wondered if the look of lust in her eyes could tell him so.

At first, Roland only paused, her hand still held in his own, lowered a little now, as his gaze moved up to see her own. Seeing the look on her face wiped the cheerful smile off his face, and replaced it with a similar look of.. Lust. That was truly the best, and perhaps only word for it, at least now, when his mind was starting to cloud with a rising sense of sensuality. That look on her face! Dear lord, Roland had never known a woman who could so light a fire under him like the one Eden did with a look like that. It spoke of intense pleasures, and sensual explorations. And right now.. So did his own expression.

Seeing the same look in his eyes, she knew then he wanted it as she did. Now she only needed to get him on the ground. "I think it's still bleeding a little..." she said in a soft voice. It wasn't of course. He knew that as well as she did. "Perhaps you should... suck them a little more."

He hadn't thought it possible but her words turned him on even further then he had been already. Resisting hard to urge to throw her to the ground right in the very rose bushes that had been kind enough to start the encounter. "Yes... Perhaps that would be a good idea." He breathed back, finding he was rather close to her. Raising her hand, without taking his eyes from hers, he slowly, ever so slowly, brought her fingers to his lips, lightly sucking upon her finger, wheather it was the injured one or not, he knew not, nor cared not.

Eden's eyes never left his as he sucked on her fingers, her lips slightly parted as she moaned softly. Her chest was rising and falling a little more rapidly with every in and out breath. "I think it would be wise... if we moved to an area... with softer flowers..." she panted a little to him. "We don't want to be pricked by any more thorns." Especially in places a lot more sensitive then her fingers.

As he moved his head back from her hands, eyes still blazing as he listened to her words, throwing his vision fully into her eyes, he nodded lightly. "Mmh, perhaps you right." He murmured leaning forward and nipping lightly at her neck and collarbone. Swinging them both about suddenly, he moved with her, taking her wrist in his own lightly until they found themselves under a big and ancient willow tree, sheltered in it's cool shade, and underneath their feet, lay a thick and soft bed of clover, the occasional red clover flower poking through the dark green blanket.

Wrapping an arm about her, he hungrily sought out her lips, quickly launching into a passionate kiss, eyes slowly shutting closed.

This place was perfect. Their own little paradise in the garden. Eden for Eden and her master. As she wrapped her arms around him again, she pulled him back until she was against the willow tree's trunk, using it for support as they kissed with such passion. Eden's fingers laced up until his hair careful not to tug his locks... yet. Maybe a later on. Her knee rose up to rub in between his legs, warming him up and wondering how warmed up she would find him already. She knew she was alright aroused to the point of feeling her own wetness between her legs. Her clothing better be done fast, she could not keep this one outfit much longer. It was covered in many things by now.
