"Well well, that's no way to greet your lord now is it? Don't be like that, after all.. you are nothing more than my servent, are you not?" He asked as he smirked, walking towards her as he moved to place his hand on her shoulder before he pulled her from her bed before he pushed her down towards the floor. "Kneel for me Rika. I have taken some of your sister's precious magic... and in exchange for her freedom, your sister has sold you. However, as opposed to when Beira did it, I accepted since she gifted me with her magic to back it up."

He watched and wondered how she would react. Whether she'd try to deny, or if she would somehow have some hope for Selene. Or perhaps she would feel betrayed, and give him the perfect opportunity to take advantage of her despair as he would say the little spell. "Do you have anything to say before you're completely mine? Or perhaps, a message to send to your sister, before she's no longer your most beloved."

Rika knew her sister well. Selene was smart, probably smarter than her. She would sell her out if she didn't have a plan. All Rika had to do was trust her sister, knowing full well that she would do everything in her power to save her. With Shido's admission of taking Selene's powers, Rika had a feeling of what had happened. And although she wanted to beat Shido into a pulp for what he did to her sister, the oath forced her down to her knees as she glared up at Shido.

"I will get you for this." Rika frowned at him. It had been a while since Rika had threatened him. After all, she had been a faithful servant for the past few weeks that she was there. But this time, Rika was angry. He was trying to turn her against her own sister like he did to Niall and Beira. But this time, it wouldn't work. Rika knew Selene probably had a plan already. She noticed the magical book in his hands. "You do know that by taking that from Beira, she has alerted Beira that she has been captured."

He watched as she glared and actually dared to threaten him, as he shook his head before now placing his hand on her forehead. "Alert Beira she might have, but your queen has already sent her two best at me, and if she decides its in her best interest to lose more, she will find herself soon losing the war very quickly. But it's time for you to stop talking back Rika. You're going to be mine now." He told her as he moved and opened the book and set it aside, before he began to speak the runes of which were on the pages. First he created a small familiar which then placed itself right in front of her, as if a small fae as it latched a connection straight upon her brain as now it began to enchant the runes upon the book, his magic supply now given soley to this fae. It soon pry'd open her mind and began to enthrall her, as well as weaving various locking spells and oathbrakers upon her.

Despite the fact that he had just gotten the powers, he had every intention of making sure Rika would become his, and not turn back. He moved and left the room and began to prepare for other things, asking the guards to make sure the door was kept closed before he sent a messenger to free Selene, and send her to the dinner area, despite how no one was there yet. He would show himself to her and do other things, while Rika slowly became nothing more than his little pet, getting pulled deeper with every rune placed upon her very heart and soul.

~*~

Breakfast time arrived and Shido walked into the dining room, very well expecting both Selene and Summer to already be in their respective areas. He had also sent for Selene to receive clothing and such, not wanting her to appear naked of course Not many nobles arrived for breakfast, and it was all well and good, since they would be even less pleased to see a sorcerous. However, poor Rika had still not arrived yet. It was his hope that she would enter the room, and at least Selene would realize what a terrible thing she had brought upon Rika.

Summer was first at the breakfast table, surprised to see that Rika still wasn't up. Rika was usually the first person to be in the dining area. She was about to go up to see Rika when Selene entered, surprising Summer even more. Selene didn't look particularly happy. She had been dressed similar to the dress that Summer except that it was cut high up her waist and it wasn't cut in the back. She looked up when she saw Shido and smiled briefly at him. There was something different about him, Summer could tell, but what it was she didn't know. Selene seemed to notice his arrival as well and she turned to look at him.

With Shido already at the table, the servants rushed about serving their breakfast to them. It was quite noticeable that there was an empty seat next to Selene. It was obviously meant for Rika since she was the only not at the table. "Where is my sister, Shido?" She asked, arching her eyebrow at him.

The few people that did join them in the table turned their heads in their direction. They had heard of the arrival of Rika's sister who was supposedly a powerful sorceress. She had gotten so close to killing their king and they wondered if it would be a smart idea to have her dine with them. In their opinion, she should be put to death in the plaza in front of the palace.

He watched as the servent rushed to serve breakfast as he moved to eat, enjoying his little breakfast before Selene decided to interrupt. He had smiled at Summer, as he kept as much of the aura of Selene's power as he could, even as he could tell he really didn't have much power left in him. "Hmm? I'm not sure Selene. She should be coming any moment." He told her as it seemed that she was quite anxious to see Rika. However, he turned his head and moved to look at Summer, smiing at her.

"So Summer, are you enjoying your stay here? Find out anything about your father?" He asked. Some people knew him, and would say of course, that he was a fine man, and would look at her strangely. Perhaps she found someone that would divulge a little, or one that might think she was going to say something bad about him and so they might decide to stick up for him. Really, Tavish wasn't anything too special. Just happened to fall in love with the wrong elf... and paid the price. He would gladly entertain any of Summer's questions, because currently, he was getting rather annoyed with Selene and her constant badgering.

It was a couple of minutes later that the door to the dining room opened again and revealed Rika. She wore her hair in a ponytail now, and was wearing the clothes of a Dark Elven assassin, light and very clearly revealing both the markings on her neck and back, the cloth tight against her skin while her blades hung at her sides. However, she was quite different from the girl others had been expecting. It seemed her winter aura had been completely snuffed out, as her violet eyes also lost their glimmer. Her movements were almost mechanical, opening and closing the door quietly before she kept her eyes on the ground and seemed to almost shuffle towards Shido.

Instead of sitting next to Selene, she just passed her, without a word before she went up right behind Shido and whispered, her words soft and monotone, as if all willpower sucked out of her, as if she was nothing more than a doll, the life sucked out of her. "My lord and master, I'm here to serve..." She said, not even bothering to go to her seat and eat, just standing next to him... unmoving, still as stone.

Selene scowled at Shido's answer but did not say anything more, instead contenting herself with the food that they had served her. It had been an entire day since she last ate and she was starving. She paced herself though, not wanting to let Shido have the benefit of seeing how much he had punished her the previous day. Summer was in a much better mood today so she happily answered Shido's question, ignoring the annoyed glance from Selene.

"I only saw some records of him serving your father. Along with some of the awards that he received. I was hoping I could talk to you about him though. Everyone I talked to told me you knew him best. I've been reading most of the night." Summer paused as she heard the door open and she turned to greet Rika but was surprised to see her face so barren of expression.

Selene looked up to see her sister, not even noticing her. Shido appeared to have used a normal enchantment spell that could easily be broken. However, Selene knew that Shido wouldn't make it that easy for her. In fact, she doubted that she could break the enchantment the normal way. She could only hope that she could fool Shido into telling her exactly what she did. However, it didn't make the pain any less. Selene wanted to grab her sister and shake her, even if she knew that would not do her any good, except making her look like a fool in front of all those who were watching.

It was Summer who could not resist and she asked Shido as she gazed worriedly at Rika, "What is wrong with Rika?" She asked. Not even the mention of her name seemed to register with Rika who seemed to be staring at absolutely nothing.

"Enchantment spell," Selene replied shortly, looking at her sister. "She wont recognize us or hear us talking to her. She will only respond to him. He controls her actions, her words, everything."

Summer looked at Selene not understanding why she wasn't doing anything to help her sister. If she was such an all-powerful sorceress, she must be able to do something, anything that could break the spell that Shido had.

Shido hid a small smile while he began to eat the eggs he was having as Rika moved from her spot over to Selene, her face still stone without much recognition as her eyes gazed upon her sister, before her hand flew quickly and the back of her hand moved and connected quite loudly with Selene's cheek as she gazed at her. "Seem like I recognize you yet Selene? Oh but how I wish I didn't, you ... Scum. You sold me out, made me so now all I have is my master. But it is as well.... neither you nor I will escape now. You made sure of that." She said, the only word with any real emotion was scum... and it was said with such distaste... it was almost as if she wished to clean her mouth after saying it.

"Now now Rika, no more of that. Sit and eat your breakfast.." He told her before Rika nodded and a 'Yes, my lord' as she moved to sit down and quietly eat her breakfast beside Selene. He knew later Selene and Rika would have plenty of time alone with each other as he continued to do his own work, as he looked over to Summer. "I'd be glad to speak with you about your father Summer. I did know him quite well, since he was a loyal soldier under my father, one also sent as an embassador to your lands, where he had met your mother. Come, if you're done... we can talk about this privately." He told her, as he stood up and wiped his mouth.

He wanted to leave the two alone. After all... he had no doubts that Rika would stay the way she was, at least for a couple of weeks. And he doubted that Selene would do anything too drastic to her, at least not yet. Oh no, not when Rika's mind had already been altered so much by the magic. Not when Rika herself seemed to be struggling with it. To the untrained eye, it was only darkness which eminated from her being. but there was a flicker of the winter elf that was still there, but they were short and few... as if Rika were consumed by the darkness now.

Selene was quite surprised when Rika slapped her without instruction coming from Shido. Her hand covered her reddened cheek as she stared at her sister in disbelief. Rika's reaction planted a seed of doubt in Selene's mind. Nothing coming from her should have provoked Rika in such a way and unless Shido was connected mentally to Rika (which Selene thought was unlikely), he could not have possibly ordered her to slap her. If that was the case, Shido probably used a different spell or modified one to fit his sick game.

Summer still looked worriedly at Rika but nodded her head at Shido as she quickly finished her food. Trailing after Shido, she looked back one last time at the sisters. Selene still stared at her sister in disbelief as Rika ate wordlessly, not looking at anyone. Sighing, she turned her back to them and followed Shido, walking astride him. There were many things she wanted to ask so she started with the one that she wanted to ask the most. "Did my father truly love my mother?" She asked him.

Meanwhile, the rest of their companions at the table left, leaving Selene alone with Rika. Rika finished eating and made a move to stand but Selene blocked her path. Selene tried to connect mentally once more to her sister. They had done so earlier and she had hoped it work now. But something blocked her, not allowing her to access her sister's mind. If her sister was trapped inside, she had hoped she could talk to her. Rika, most likely, wouldn't know the spell that was cast on her but that was the farthest thing from Selene's mind. What she wanted to know was if her sister truly believed that she had sold her out without a plan for them to save her.

Frustrated, Selene grabbed Rika's arm and shook her like she had wanted earlier. As expected, it did not have any effect on Rika's unfocused eyes. "I'll get you out of there, Rika. I promise." Selene told her. She didn't know if the real Rika could hear her but Selene could only hope that she would. She did not want Rika to think, for one second, that she had deserted her.

"It's no use Selene. No matter how hard you shake me, it's not going to change what you've done. You killed me Selene, and Shido brought me back to life. I thought that my purpose was to protect you, that's why I never told him about you when I was here... that's why I begged for your release. I was willing to put my life on the line for you, but you threw me away the first chance you got..." Rika said, her voice icy cold, as if they had begun to once again retain her Winter Elven self. Her hands went and gripped Selene's neck, however they didn't squeeze like they could if they had wanted. Her skin was cold, however it was not a Wintery essence cold, but rather a lifeless cold. "If I even cared a shred about you, I'd choke you to death right here. No, my life is no devoted to my master, Shido. You are to be watched at all times, and you are not to leave the castle." She told her before she removed her hands from her neck, before she moved to exit. "Come, we're going to my room." She told her before walking away to her room where they'd be totally secluded.

Shido walked with Summer as he moved over to the library, where he had been informed that she had been spending her time. "Well, I'm not really the foremost person to ask about love... but they did seem to care for each other very much. I do know your mother must have loved him, for she ran off to be with him in his village... and he also stopped going on missions concerning the Summer elves, unless it was for diplomacy. Perhaps it was your mother's wish, or he was just doing it for her. Whatever the case may be, I hear that even as they tortured and killed him, he begged them not to blame your mother for leaving the Summer elves. Perhaps it was he whom gave your grandfather the idea to brainwash your mother hmm?" He told her, bringing up the subject to her again, wondering what she now thought of the subject, and whether she'd believe him.

For a moment, Selene had thought that Rika would try to kill her but she did not. Selene almost wanted Rika to kill her, to strangle her... to at least show any emotion at all but there was none. She followed Rika back to her room and was surprised with the amount of magic in the room. There wasn't much to go with but the amount worried Selene. If Shido had used this much, his powers would have depleted by now but he seemed fine during breakfast. Also, this meant that it may be a more difficult spell to break.

Selene began to pace the room as she thought of what to do. She tried to connect with Rika again but all she did was stare blankly at her. "I won't ever, ever desert you, Rika." Selene sighed as she sat on the bed. "I know you're still in there and I promise I'll get you out." She took a deep breath as she thought of a way to trick Shido into telling her what he did. She sat up and turned to Rika, "Do you remember anything from last night?"

Summer shrugged her shoulders as she stared outside, "I suppose so. My grandfather could have thought up all of that on his own. What I don't understand though is why they kept me in the castle... If they hated my father so much and if they brainwashed my mother into think I was nothing more than a rape child, why did take me in? They could just had me cast out of Summer court. But they took me in and protected me. Even as we speak, my uncle is attacking the Winter Court because he think that would be enough for you to send me back to him." Drifting off, she asked, "Was my father's body every found?"

"You've already deserted me Rika, there's no one here but me right now, nothing to get out. I've been reborn, and there's no one else left. He casted something on me last night, that's all I know Selene. You want to connect with me Selene? Why not just ask me hmm?" Rika told her as she smiled, but it was not the happy or kind smile she used to give her sister, this one was crooked... a dark smile worth of her new Dark Elven affiliation. She moved and brought her head to Selene's... before opening the rift between them. However, what Selene would witness would be something she would never enjoy.

Inside her mind now was pure darkness, demons within her all unleashed now as the two connected. It would be quite painful for Selene, however this time of course, she needed not continue the connection. If she was observent enough, she would be able to tell there was a cage of some sorts, but that was deep inside all of that which now clouded Rika's mind. There was something evil eating at her soul now. It was quite possible that rather than time helping, she could become nothing more than a ticker, her soul slowly rotting away until there really was nothing left of the old Rika, and the only thing here now was the dark and evil spirit of a girl whom believed she was betrayed by all, and that the only thing left for her was to obey her one master.

He sighed at Summer before he patted her on the head. "Listen, you should know the Summer elves better than I do hmm? Would they eat their own? Of course not... they wanted your mother to once again hate all dark elves, and they wanted to take her back badly. They wanted to brainwash you too, and they were pretty successful until you learned to make your own decision and learned the truth no? Didn't you hate the dark elves?" He asked her, attempting to get her to look through a different lense. It was very interesting, that to the Winter elves he was extremely hard on the two... perhaps it was because Summer also had some dark elven magic in her... as well as her connection to his past. "As for Tarvish... yes, he was given a proper Elvish burial as well... his body and magic recycled back to the earth."

Normally, when Selene entered her sister's brain, she was never met with such darkness. It was easy to sort through them as long as she was able to separate what was normally in Rika's thoughts and what was not there. It took a while but Selene gasped as she abruptly cut the connection between them, staring at 'Rika'. Rika was trapped inside her own head. A sinister creature had kept her away, trying to block her from the truth but she had seen past it. But the Rika she saw inside was much different from what she was used to. Rika was locked in a cage as a silvery shadow of her former self. As she pulled away, she realized that she had to act fast if she wanted to save her sister. If she took too long, she'd be beyond saving.

Placing her hand on Rika's forehead, Selene murmured a spell that would put her to sleep. She hoped that by putting Rika to sleep, the evil creatures inside her would sleep as well. It would buy her enough time to obtain the magic book from Shido.

"I hated all dark elves then." Summer looked up at him then shrugged her shoulders. "Now, I'm not sure if I feel the same way. I'm part dark elf after all and I cannot hate what I am. At least now, I can rest easy knowing my father and my mother have both been properly buried." She drifted off as she looked up at him. "I must admit, though, I am a little bit lost. I do not know what I must do now. I know I must stay here for the time being. But what comes after you've decided on who you want to marry?"

"Well! Obviously you stay with me if you become my bride... otherwise, I don't think I'd be opposed to you choosing your own court, or where to stay. After all, I didn't kill you when the Winter Queen asked right?" He asked her before he patted her on the cheek before he stood up and moved to walk away. "Right then, I'll speak to you later. I have some things I need to catch up on, especially concerning the Queen herself" He told her as he sighed, knowing that Beira would be furious now that he also had her magical book, and had taken advantage of her precious sorcerous. He was sure not going to let either of them go now, not when Rika was being eaten alive... and Selene would be frantically attempting to find a cure.

Oh he hadn't made it easy on Selene. Of course, the poison was pretty slow acting. Having Rika like nothing more than a little robot, or a lifeless doll didn't please him either. It would pretty much run her out of the race to be his bride. However, he also knew that Rika's condition was much more important to Selene than it was to him, and any reaction to Selene's magic would allow him to pull his ace out of the hole... and then either Selene would be outsmarted... or he'd be dead.

Selene left her sleeping sister in the room and she walked around, using her inner senses to find the whereabouts of Shido and Summer. Shido was walking out of a room and Selene remained inside. She walked through the hallways until she found Shido. "You are insane, Shido." Selene growled at him as she moved closer to him. She was so short that she barely reached his chin but it didn't stop her from poking her finger at his chest. "If that monster you placed in her kills Rika, I will make your death so slow and painful that you would wish you never lived in the first place."

Selene knew that threatening him would not work if she wanted to save her sister but she could not help it. Her anger with him boiled over as she realized how little time she had. The demons could ruin her sister for good and that would be a very bad thing. Humans controlled by demons were harmless since they were powerless. But with the fey, once demons were in control it could result in utter disaster but usually it would do more harm to the host than anyone else.

Selene had never felt so powerless before even compared to being chained up in the basement. At least then, there was nothing she could really do because she had no powers. But now, all her powers were restored and yet she could not even help her sister.

He watched as finally Selene came up to him and poked her finger at his chest. "Listen, I'd love to hear your sob stories right now dear, but I've got real work to do. I'm glad you came to me just to insult me though, because if things are really as bad as you seem to think they are, that's the first thing you should be doing right?" He asked her before he pushed her hand and finger away from him before he moved to turn a corner before he used dark magic to open a small portal into the wall and stepping in and disappearing before closing it before Selene could follow him again. He really didn't want to be bothered with her right now, and plus... she needed to 'deal' with Rika.

He doubted that the demon would really kill her so fast. Sure, there was need for a little alarm since Selene didn't really know what spell he had cast upon her, but the particular demon inside her took more happiness in searching through its host rather than really killing or inflicting harm upon her. So the cage should hold, and actually protect Rika more than hold her in place and allow the demon to harm her. But he wasn't going to reveal any of that information to Selene. The less she knew the better, and the more mistakes she'd be inclined to make later.

As he left, Selene went to plan B. She entered the room where he had come from and found Summer there, looking out the window. "I need your help." Selene announced and Summer turned around to look at her curiously, waiting for her to expound on what she had just said. "Rika needs your help." She corrected herself as she walked into the room and settled down on an empty seat. "I don't know what is wrong with her and I'm sure Shido used some dark magic which I have absolutely no control either."

"I think you're asking the wrong person. The only powers I am aware of is my healing powers." Summer replied, turning back to her. She wanted to help, after all, Rika had been nice to her during the past few weeks and she wouldn't really want to see her get hurt because of Shido's spell.

"That was what I was counting on actually..." Selene sighed.

"But she isn't physically injured." Summer pointed out.

"I know that. But so far, it is the only option I could think of that would not risk me hurting her. Could you at least give it a try?"

Summer eventually agreed and the two of them went up to Rika's room and Selene explained that she put Rika in a sleeping state. Summer placed her hand over Rika's head and used her power to heal but nothing seemed to be happening. "I don't think it would work without her actually being injured. Can't you just reverse whatever spell he used?"

"I don't know what spell he used." Selene sighed as she stared at her sister. Summer didn't leave the room, instead she sat by the windows as Selene sat on the bed, both thought of all the things that they could do for Rika. Selene planned on keeping her in her sleeping state most of the time, only waking her so that she could eat.

It was just alittle while later that Rika woke up as she moved and attempted to bolt away from them. "What... What are you doing Selene..." Her face controrted now in anger as she moved now to draw her sword. Oh she was angry, or was it the demons inside her which realized that they were trying to kill her. The dark aura around her swirling as only pure hatred was eminating from her now. Oh yes, the old Rika was now being completely overcome by this demon, and now that they had provoked it, it was having no problems eating as much as it could and taking over the poor Winter Elf's body so that it could attempt to slay those whom were trying to kill it.

Summer and Selene both stood side by side, looking warily at Rika. "Rika," Selene spoke, ignoring the demon who was speaking now. "Summer was only trying to heal you. Of course, it didn't work because there was nothing wrong with you. I know you're in there. I know there are demons in there. But you have to help me. I can't help you if you don't fight."

Selene knew the only reason that the demon was controlling her so easily was because she wasn't putting up much of a fight. Perhaps it was because she trusted Selene in helping her or maybe it was because she gave up already. But whatever it was, Selene could only hope that the real Rika could hear her. "The demon... I can expel her but there is no knowing what other spells have been placed on you and I can't take the risk. I'm worried I might hurt you."

Summer placed her hand on Selene's arm and formed a protective bubble around them. "I don't think Rika can do much against the demon if she's locked in. Maybe we can focus on releasing her first."

Rika watched the two and her eyes were trained upon Selene as she withdrew the sword from the sheath and suddenly embued it with dark magic, "I'll kill you... you bitch... I'm... I'm going to ... " Her voice much darker than it used to be, as of hourse before suddenly it seemed as if there was something wrong with her. Her left leg gave out before she fell to one knee before he free hand went up to her face, her eyes wild now while the hatred around her increased. "I... I can't. I'm.. I have to protect." It seemed that she was able to hear Selene but clearly there was not enough fight in her to totally take back her body, as she jolted from her position before she swung at Selene, in a upwards arc, the sword caugh and slowed by the bubble just a little.

"I... it's.. killing me. Help... Die." Her voice broken up while the twisted smile on her face just got more wide, as she ran at Selene again, the demon trying to kill the girl responsible for this outburst from her host, to kill that which was killing her. However, after her second charge, she dropped her blade as she screamed aloud, both hands moving to her head before she coughed loudly, something filling her lungs before she threw up, her breakfast mixed with blood and another strange black substance.

"What's that?" Summer gasped, looking at the black substance that seemed to writhe before it fell limp. Selene had seen this before. Some of the dark elf warriors use this against the winter elves. It made the host so weak that they become more susceptible to magical attacks. Selene knew how to expel the parasite but she had to touch Rika to do it. She moved forward to touch her sister, "What are you doing?" Summer grabbed her hand, "She'll kill you."

"No, she won't." Selene pulled her arm away then moved closer to Rika, touching her shoulder tentatively. She nudged the sword away from Rika's reach and performed a simple clearing spell. The parasite would be gone but it would take some time before Rika regained full strength. Hopefully, once she regains full strength, Rika could have a little more control of her body. At least that would be one step to setting her free. The fact that she could actually stop herself from attacking gave Selene a spark of hope. She knew Rika was strong enough. All she needed was a little help.

As soon as the cleansing spell was given, Rika's eyes went wide, her mouth open before the dark goo poured our of her body, her body shaking violently as it poured our, the sticky tar sometimes rolling down the side of her mouth as she continued to hack it up, her face now more in pain then in anything else. Her body while unable to really process what was going on began to jerk around, as one hand moved to grab Selene's dress and pull her close, her eyes regaining a certain amount of twinkle before her other hand moved and drew a hidden knife, before she brought it to Selene's stomach, the work of the demon.

However, Selene would find that to her luck, it was only the hilt which reached, as the knife was not turned around. Her hand had a deathgrip on the knife, as if making sure it did not turn around to allow the blade to slice into Selene. There seemed to be a stalemate over her body. While she could prevent certain things, the demon mostly had control over the main actions and reactions. Soon however, the knife was slowly and shakily brought from her sister's body towards her own neck... as if Rika herself was attempting to end it, prevent herself is she lost from harming Selene.

"No!" Selene shrieked and knocked the knife out of Rika's hand. For one moment, she had thought the demon had taken full control and could kill her. However, her sister was equally as strong. Touching Rika's arm, she froze her solid for the time being. Once Rika was frozen, Summer removed the protective bubble from herself and moved closer. "What are we going to do?" She frowned.

Selene moved her sister towards the bed and used some ropes to bind Rika's wrists to the posts before unfreezing her, sighing softly. "I have to talk to Shido." Summer announced, looking warily at the two of them.

"Go ahead." Selene frowned, he's not going to help anyway. She sighed and moved back towards a nearby seat and sat there, staring at Rika. She hadn't slept since she got there and she was extremely tired. This made her even more frustrated which wasn't helping as Rika's condition seemed to worsen as the hours pass.

Summer exited the room and rushed towards Shido's room, knocking on the door hoping he would be there.

Rika, once on the bed struggled with the bindings, however her eyes became unfocused again as it seemed there was something going on deep inside her. On the bed she twitched, attempted to turn and to get her hands to reach her head. Her mouth clamped shut as she seemed to fight with an invisible force on the bed. Soon enough, her body began to gleam with sweat, as if she was overexterting herself, her muscles tensing and untensing as her breathing became labored. Each time she attempted to strike out, and the bindings brought her back to the bed. Tears down her eyes, as the fighting seemed to continue while Summer was away.

Summer, while she might be lucky to have found him, was met by Shido by the doorway. However, he had already known what she was about to ask, as he opened the door and returned to the seat at his desk. "If you want to learn anything about Rika, I can't help you." He told her, as he began to read and write of the different articles on the desk. Whether Summer would believe him or not, he actually didn't know if he actually could help Rika. All the spells he had acast were now out of his control, and he never really was one for counterspells. Especially now, since Selene had sped up all the processes by provoking Rika and removing that which was dampening the magic powers... he wasn't even sure himself how Rika would re-emerge out of this.

"You're just going to let her die?" Summer asked him, her voice wavering. "I don't think Selene can do anything. If this were any other person, she would have used every magic trick in the book. But this is her sister and she's constantly worried of hurting her too much, almost to the point of stopping her from doing anything. Rika could die. What if she was the one meant to be your wife?"

Summer had not known about the prophecy. Only Selene, Rika and Shido knew about it. But Summer, in the weeks that she thought of her parents' relationship, came to the conclusion that there is someone meant to be for someone else. If her mother could find love in the arms of a dark elf, someone who was very much different from her, then destiny probably had a hand in it. "There must be something you can do."

Selene stepped out of her chair, a weary look on her face as she placed her hand on top of her sister's head, wiping the sweat that trickled down her forehead. "Rika, listen to me... you're stronger than this demon. You can fight it off." Selene knew that her words were more of a reassurance to herself that to Rika. "Just fight a little longer and I'll get you out of there, I promise. I'll take you home."

"I sincerely doubt she'll die, unless its something either of you two might do to her. I left her in a perfectly safe condition, however... messing around with magic that neither of you understand has been done with her is also not something that I should be concerned with." He told Summer as he continued to work, as she asked him of the prophecy... or at least, he believed she was asking him about the prophecy. It was quite likely that perhaps Rika might be the one to bring peace, and killing her off now was about to bring an end to everything. However... that was where things got really problematic.

"You should most likely go back and do what you can though... I can't do anything to help you Summer, even if I wanted to. I casted the spell sure, with Selene's powers. I no longer have that anymore, nor can I cast an appropriate counterspell. If you truly, and are in dire need of help... I'll allow you, to take Selene's book. However, do not betray me. She is not to have the book to herself, but may possibly use it to benefit Rika." He told her before he removed the magical book from his cloak, as he held it out for Summer to take.... wondering if this would be a bad decision on his part, or as he was now backed in a corner, something that might save the fae kingdoms.

A couple more moments of the struggle and as Selene placed her cool hand on her now burning forehead, she stopped suddenly... her struggling and all her muscles relaxing. Her eyes turning into the ice blue it once was and focused now upon Selene as her voice, short and light came back and spoke quietly. "Home... yes, I'd love to return home. Selene;" She said as her breathe calmed and became very shallow. "Selene, I'm sorry. I, I'm not strong enough. I can't stay... stay and help you. I... I lo.." She cut herself off as her eyes lost focus once more as she closed her eyes, before they became violet and dark, what seemed like small little particles inside, before her mouth opened and another voice, somehow more demonic began to speak from the same mouth. "I love to fuck with you. You kill me, and I'll kill you." She announced before laughing maniacally, as she struggled to lift herself from the bindings and lash out at Selene.
