Where Angels Fear To Tread (PoisonousIvee/Mr.Aznable)

"No problem, detectives, always a pleasure~"
"Could you do me one small favor though, Margie?" Dean asked. She nodded, smiling brightly.
"Course!"
"Can you find Mr Ruth's call logs? Just where he's been dialling?" He asked. Margie hummed before giving a slow nod.
"I have a girl friend who works at the operation station, I can have some strings pulled."
"You're a real peach, Margie." Dean smiled.

It took a bit, but the call logs were handed over to Dean, and a couple odd numbers stood out. Turns out, they were phone box numbers, all made either directly to Stephen's office or his home. When asked about it, of course he played dumb. But, his secretary was finally kind enough to let Cliff in on a business partner of Stephen's, and how they had been plotting to take Mark's ideas for their own to make a profit. She gave Cliff the man's number, his name being Sam, and they got his address from Margie and the girls at the station. When investigating his home, they found that he wore a size twelve shoe, and had some mysteriously familiar muddy clothes in his hamper.
"Looks like we found our man. Just need to know where he is."

"Maybe.." He said, before looking toward the door when he heard noise. Sam stood there, staring at the two detectives, before suddenly taking off.
"Ah, shit." Dean growled before following him, "I'm too old for this!"

"I didn't do anything wrong." He stated. Dean caught up, gasping and panting.
"No innocent man...has ever run from police..." He panted.

When they got him to the station, he was escorted to one of the interrogation rooms to simmer.
"Since he lawyered up, we can't talk to him yet, but I'm pretty confident we got our man." Dean said.

"We just need confirmation from our friend here. Then we can get him." He pat Cliff on the back, "Don't worry so much, son. You'll be able to keep your date."

"Me too." He said. After Sam's lawyer arrived and they discussed some things, they were ready to talk to Dean and Cliff. He would give up Stephen and every detail of their planning for a shorter sentence with parole. Dean made a show of agreeing, saying that they would put the good word in before leaving to pick up Stephen.

"Oh, you wanna look good for your canary, huh?" Dean teased, "Fine, fine. We'll be clean this time."

When they pulled up to the building, Dean stopped the girl from warning Stephen that they were coming before heading up the elevator with Cliff. They got to the office and arrested Stephen for second degree murder and hauled him off to the station.
