Three Masters (KatiexRude)

It was almost hypnotizing, how his voice affected her. She closed her eyes, allowing his soft whispers to be the only thing she focused on. Tingles ran from her neck to her toes, and butterflies formed in her stomach. Was it true that she truly was smitten with Alexander? That she had true feelings for him? Oh, such a short amount of time, and feelings had quickly formed within her heart.

"You mean, I have to be alone?" She asked, her eyes opening widely. She turned back to him, a look of fear in her eyes. She didn't want to be alone in this house with James. Not one bit. "I don't want to be alone!" But just then she heard Gabriel walking back into the room, and she couldn't help but grin at him.

The random spots of orange on his clothes appeared to come from the jug of orange juice. "Why thank you Gabriel!" She smiled widely at him, and moved her arms up to place the jug on the table. Pulling him forward she wrapped her arms around him, giving him a tight hug. "That was very sweet of you."

Alexander sighed a little. "Well I can't not go. Gabriel would never forgive m..." And then the other vampire had entered to cut him off. "You just have to make sure you stay in one of our rooms. James won't go inside. He doesn't want this coven to break up any more than we do." He kissed her cheek as Gabriel came over with the jug. He almost wanted to hug the other vampire as well. It had been a long time and he still hadn't given up on his month ritual.

But Gabriel seemed upbeat as ever and smiled when she hugged him, though he made sure to keep his fangs behind his lips. He didn't want to scare Helena and he wasn't sure how comfortable she was around him. "It was easy...But I had to clean up all the orange peels and stuff..." He kissed her lips softly, his own tasting a bit like orange. Apparently there had been a lot more juice earlier. "Is the food good?" He licked her lips softly, enjoying the taste of her skin.

Helena pouted a bit after she stopped hugging Gabriel. Despite the sweetness he had showed her, she was still a bit upset that she would be alone tomorrow. "Its yummy." She answered, biting her lip a little bit. She wasn't going to try and break their 'ritual', but curiosity was getting the best of her. Why couldn't she come along? Frowning just slightly, she cut another piece of steak up, and pushed it into her mouth.

"So what are you two doing tomorrow?" She asked, hoping Gabriel would tell her. He didn't keep much of anything secret. He had told her of their previous mates, which Alexander seemed unable to do. "Alexander said you two would be going out."

When she asked that, Gabriel turned bright red, and he looked up at Alexander. His eyes narrowed into a hateful glare and then he looked Helena and bit his lip. How could he tell her? With how he felt about her it seemed like a bit of a betrayal. "Well...I uh..." He looked at the floor before suddenly placing his head between her breasts, like a child would with his mother. "I am going to look for Victoria...There is always a chance that she might come back..." His voice was painfully adult again.

Alexander flinched when he saw Gabriel like that. Mentioning Victoria was the only thing that knocked him out of his childish stupor. He didn't want to do this to Helena but he couldn't bear to see Gabriel in pain. He was like a younger brother after all. "Don't be so sad Gabriel...Helena is feeling all strong now so I bet she will take a bath with you later...And you two can have sex." With that, the younger vampire's head came up, his eyes wide with excitement, though there was a tear on his cheek. "Really?" Was all Gabriel could manage with a sniffle.

"Oh." Was all that Helena could say. She didn't want to admit the selfish thoughts that were running through her head. She wasn't a cruel person! So why was she thinking such things? That Gabriel was stupid for searching for a woman who probably was thousands of miles away. That they were wasting their time. Helena bit her own lip, hating herself for a moment. Had she really got that caught up in all the attention?

The strange thoughts came again when Alexander reassured Gabriel. She didn't want sex again... She was already tired from their previous act. She wanted to take a bath with Alexander! She sighed, and despite her wishes, she nodded to Gabriel. "If you like." She smiled softly, and then looked up at Alexander. She was so desperately attached to him. But Gabriel deserved so much as sex, with all he had done for her. "How about I take a bath with Alexander... And then me and Gabriel can go to his room."

Gabriel's smile disappeared when she mentioned Alexander though. He didn't look happy. His arms dropped to his side and he looked down at the floor. "You don't want me..." His eyes closed and he slowly turned around. "You only want Big Brother Alexander..." He suddenly let out a feral growl. He sounded more like an animal than a human. "Fine! Keep her! I am leaving and I'm not coming back! Victoria didn't want me and Helena didn't want me! And my big brothers don't want me either!" He walked towards the door slowly at first. But then he was moving with full vampire speed. There was a crash as the door ripped from its hinges and it was followed by at least a dozen more sounds like it. The apartment had a path of destruction running through it.

Alexander seemed unable to speak for a moment. Then he blinked a few times before looking at the door. He couldn't believe it. Gabriel felt stronger for Helena than he thought...Suddenly he felt terrible. He had forced Helena into something she didn't want and lost Gabriel because of it. He felt like a monster. "I...Helena...I..." He slumped to the floor and put his face in his hands. (Do you mind if she gets turned soon? I wanna have Alexander go after Gabriel and James decides she deserves to be punished...)

Helena looked more than shocked, she looked paralyzed with astonishment. "I-I... Gabriel! Its not that! I just..." She stumbled over her words, trying her hardest to make up for whatever she had said to hurt him. Her eyes opened wide as he yelled at her. "No Gabriel!" She yelled as he ran out of the room. She turned her head, but she was unable to see him, her eyes too slow to see the speeds of the vampire.

Dropping her knife, she felt her heart drop. She didn't want to hurt Alexander... Tears filled her eyes. She had torn apart the vampire who didn't seem strong enough to even face reality. A tear rolled down her cheek, and she turned to looked at Alexander. "I-I'm sorry Alexander.... I... I didn't think I would hurt him that much..." Standing up from her chair, she crouched beside the vampire, and put her hand on his shoulder. "I really didn't mean to..."

[Yeah, she can be turned soon. But isn't there like a healing process were they are like human/vampire-y?]

(Well with how I play vampires, they are healed immediately by the process starting, so she won't die. But it takes a while for them to become a full vampire. They can heal but they aren't as strong or fast.)

Alexander looked up at her. He didn't look sad or angry or even annoyed anymore. He was thinking cold logical thoughts. But then that shattered and he looked at Helena, very concerned. "I think...I didn't expect him to care for you that much..." He leaned in and kissed her softly. "Don't worry Helena...I will go look for him. I'll be back soon if I find him or not." He gave her another kiss, wiping away a tear. Then he was gone, up and out of the room faster than she would follow.

Meanwhile, in the living room there was a sound of wood being tossed and a few things breaking even more. Someone else was around. And after almost a minute of the noises of wood, she found out exactly who. Standing in the doorway of the kitchen, his eyes narrow and his fangs bared, was James. "You little bitch...If Gabriel doesn't come back...Well I suppose that doesn't matter. Whether he comes back or not, you are going to be dead..."

[Okie. That works.]

Helena sniffled softly as Alexander kissed her. She felt horrible. She had turned his world upside down.... She had torn Gabriel's heart apart. She was more trouble than anything to this 'family'. "Alright." Helena nodded as Alexander left, and then stood up from the floor, and pushed away her food, now unable to eat. Just as she was about to start picking up the mess, she heard James enter the room.

Her head quickly turned, and she saw the silver haired vampire in front of her. "I... I didn't mean to hurt him!" She pleaded, and then her eyes darted to the rest of the room. There was no escaping this, but, she didn't think of that. "It wasn't my fault!" She immediately tried to run to the front door, but her speed was only half of the average human, baby steps for a vampire.

When she tried to plead innocence, the end of her plea was cut off by the sound of smashing wood as James put his arm through the wall next to him. "I don't care!" His voice was loud and feral. This wasn't his dislike for humans. This was pure hatred for hurting his 'little brothers'. When she started to run, he held in a small laugh. She was moving so slow. It would hardly be any fun. But then he was in front of her. With a swing of his arm, there was a crack as one of her ribs broke.

She flew across the room into the wall, causing it and another few ribs to break. Then he was in front of her, grabbing her throat. He lifted her just enough that she wasn't touching the floor then grabbed her wrist with his free hand. He put it close to his mouth before pressing the point of his fang against her skin. With a twist of his neck, her wrist opened, no venom entering her blood. Instead it ran down her wrist to her elbow and he lapped at it a little. "Does it hurt?" He made sure his tongue didn't touch the wound.

Helena screamed a bit when she heard James yell. She backed up slowly, but before she could even think, James was in front of her. Suddenly she felt his strong arm that had broken through the wall now against her chest. She yelped, unbearable pain seared through her entire body. She slumped against the ground as she hit the other wall. Her entire chest seemed to be heaving out of her body. Her heart seemed to be stopping, skipping beats often.

Before long she felt herself being lifted up by the throat. She saw his face for only a moment before her eyes began to black out. Her vision wavered in and out, and she saw blood covering her entire arm. She screamed out, not stopping, not answering his question. She couldn't feel anything but an unbearable pain.

James looked rather content as he fed off of the blood running down her arm. But soon, he wasn't enjoying himself as much. She looked ready to pass out and that would ruin all of his fun. So he dropped her and with a quick kick broke a bone in her leg. She would suffer until she was done with her pathetic life. And then he walked away, like he had just gone for a stroll through the park.

It was a few minutes before Alexander returned, Gabriel following closely behind, looking rather depressed. But then Alexander stopped and smelled the air. It was full of blood. Both of them ran as fast as they could to the kitchen and Gabriel only gasped as he saw Helena. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to let this happen Alexander...Is she dead?"

Alexander was at her side and he touched a few spots on her. She was alive, but barely. Venom wouldn't help. There was only one thing they could do. "Gabriel...Stay back..." He sank his fangs into neck for only a moment, flooding her blood with venom. Then he sank his fangs into his own wrist and Gabriel gasped. Alexander held his wrist above her mouth and as soon as a drop of blood touched her tongue, the venom seemed to become a thousand times more powerful. Everything started to heal quickly. Faster than even a vampire could heal.

Helena crushed against the ground, her entire body shaking with pain. Her body started to feel very cold, as if she was loosing all warmth within her. She couldn't feel anything at all anymore, her mind was out. Her eyes were still open, and she could somewhat see, but she couldn't speak or move. Alexander appeared beside her, and just as he did, her vision went black.

It seemed like an eternity before she began to choke. Blood came out of her throat, and she heard Alexander's voice. Suddenly a disturbing sound rounded through her body. Her ribs were going back into place, and her skin was covering over her wounds. "Alexander..." She whispered, eerily quiet.

Alexander almost smiled when she said his name. She was conscious. That was good. But he had to check something. He knew exactly what was happening but he had to make sure. He opened her eyes just enough to look at her pupils and he let out a pleased noise. Her pupils were turning blood red and all her wounds were healing. He couldn't help himself.

"Congratulations Helena...You are on your way to becoming a vampire." He lifted her lip just enough to check on her growing fangs. She would look, feed and heal like a vampire. But she would be weak and slow unless she drank enough. The more she drank, the faster she would gain her vampire powers. "Go get some of the willing ones...A few dozen actually...She will be hungry." He pulled her close to his chest, knowing she would be cold. Meanwhile, Gabriel went off to get her someone to eat.

"N-n-nuh..." Was all Helena could manage to get out. Her body was so exhausted, and yet everything was pumping quickly, moving quickly. Biting down, she felt something sharp hit her lip. It felt like Alexander's fang... But it had come from her own mouth. Barely opening one eye, she slumped against Alexander's body. "W-water..." She whined, her entire body feeling dry. But was it water she needed, or blood?

Slowly she began to feel her toes, her fingers, and both of her eyes were able to open. "Alexander-r... Don't... Don't let me go." She whispered in a very hushed voice. She would have cried if her body had enough liquid to spare. She moved her arm to wrap around his neck, and let her head fall against the crook of his neck.

Alexander smiled a little and held her close against him. "Its okay...I will stay. But you need to drink. And you need a lot." He pet her softly, holding her close to him. He knew she would be completely exhausted from nearly dying then having to heal herself. But he let out a sigh of relief as Gabriel came into the kitchen with a whole legion of humans following him. He had a small shy smile on his face, trying to seem happy for Helena.

The first three humans moved to sit on their knees in front of Helena. Alexander grinned at that. "There you go Helena...Drink all you want. I will stop you before you kill them." He kissed her cheek softly. For some reason, she was even more attractive to him now. He was almost grateful for her doing this. After all, as far as he knew, she had tried to kill herself. Her wrist had been slit and he didn't know about the broken bones.

If Helena could full understand what was happening to her, she would have thrown a fit. She didn't want to be a vampire. She didn't want to hurt other people to feed herself. She wanted to be what she was born as, a human. But she was still on the verge of unconsciousness as Alexander gently soothed her. She saw the form of a woman in front of her, and lifted a brow.

"What?" She asked. After a moment, she realized a neck was being revealed to her. She was.... Being asked to feed off of someone? "I don't want to drink blood!" She proclaimed, her voice far too loud for her body, and she soon cringed against Alexander. "I don't want to be a vampire!"

Alexander sighed when she suddenly panicked. He held her a little tighter. His arms were now tight enough to hurt her if she were human. Now it was like a loving embrace. "Helena...I didn't have a choice. You would have died if I didn't do it. I don't care how bad you felt...Gabriel forgives you and he wants you to live." He lifted the girl's arm and bit into it, the girl flinching before starting to moan as the venom went into her.

He got a mouthful of blood before pinning Helena to the floor and kissing her deeply. His tongue pushed her lips apart and a small flow of blood slipped into her mouth. It would be the single most delicious thing she had ever tasted. And with how hungry she was, she would need it. No new vampire could resist the taste of blood. The human girl, who understood what was happening, held her wrist out again. "Please...Go ahead and bite me...I like it."

Helena's eyes rolled forward a bit, and she looked at Alexander with a bit of anger. "James didn't want me to live anymore. If he did it once he'll do it again. You should have just let me died." They were dark words, but she meant every one of them. James would try to kill her again, wouldn't he? What was the point of making her go through more pain again? Still, she wasn't strong enough to move, and soon, she was being kissed.

An awkward substance entered her mouth, and for a moment, she was unaware of what it was. It tasted sweet, but metallic... Her finger raised to her tongue, and she realized it was blood in her mouth. At that moment she wanted to be sick, but it was such a glorious taste... And now, a wrist was in front of her, and a girl was pleading to be bitten. Before she could think, the new animal inside her reached forward, and gnawed at the arm. Blood gushed into her mouth, and she lapped at the red liquid before closing her mouth around it, letting it flow into her mouth.

Alexander looked shocked. James had tried to kill her?! Why? He hated humans but he didn't want the rest of the coven mad at him. Then he glanced behind him at the broken door from Gabriel. He sighed a little. "James...Over reacted. He has been more protective than you would think since...We lost two coven members." He bit his lip. But when she bit the girl like that, he looked surprised.

She fed for a while and the human girl didn't seem to mind. In fact, she was moaning softly. But Alexander had to pull her away rather forcefully. He licked at the corner of her mouth, which was stained with blood. "There...See? She is okay and you got lots of blood to drink." He smiled and kissed her before putting his arms around her. "Do you want to drink more?" Two more people offered their wrists. She would need to feed from a lot of people to get to full strength.

Helena felt herself being lifted from the girl's wrist, and she looked a bit dazed. But her eyes were sharpened now, no longer dull with death inches away. She looked at the door, and found herself able to see far beyond it, to the other apartments, and the street. Had her vision changed as well? She felt Alexander's lips against her, and she smiled at him. Curling into his arms, she stayed there. And yet she did take a hold of another wrist.

Gently suckling at the blood, she noticed a difference in taste. It was stronger, and... spicier? She looked up and found this to be a man. Raising a brow she realized it was more tasteful than the girl had been. Maybe since she was a woman, men would taste better to her. After a moment she pulled herself away, learning quickly. And then, she started the process over on a third wrist. This time she only drank for a minute, before feeling herself become full. Letting go, she rolled into Alexander's arms, and now stayed there, her face tucked away in his chest.

Alexander almost grinned as she pressed herself against him and drank from the humans. After all that blood, she finally seemed sated and he grinned a little. Gabriel ushered the humans out and soon he was next to Helena. He laid his head on her shoulder, whimpering a little. But Alexander didn't say anything or push him away. Instead he kissed Helena's forehead. "You look very content..." He lifted her chin and her fangs were now long and curved like his own, her eyes blood red.

In the doorway, James stood staring at the three. Gabriel seemed...Better. He still looked depressed and his childish innocence seemed shaken. But he was okay. And Alexander was holding that girl like...Like she was his mate. He sighed and turned away. Trying to kill her had been a bad idea...But she was alive and Alexander seemed even more happy...Maybe she could stay. Another vampire would be helpful anyway.

(When would you like to bring Victoria and Dawn in?)

[Hmm... I am not sure. D: Perhaps once things have settled a bit.]

Helena grinned as Gabriel came beside her. Turning her head she kissed Gabriel's forehead. Rolling her head back she burrowed away against Alexander. "I am tired." Vampires didn't necessarily need sleep, but Helena was determined to never give up her sleeping habits. Besides, she was still being changed. She would be exhausted. Licking her lips she felt her tongue be cut by a fang. "Ouch..." She whimpered. She would have to get used to those things. But in moments her tongue was healed.

"I want to go to sleep Alexander..." She said quietly. She stayed beside her turner, and cuddled up against him. She could tell he was holding her tighter than ever before, but it did not hurt. She was stronger now than before, even though she was a terribly weak vampire.

(Well I didn't exactly plan to have them drop in right now. Maybe once James warms up to the idea of a vampire Helena to play with.)

Alexander smiled a little when she said that she needed to sleep. She didn't need it but he knew she would enjoy it. So he lifted her up and Gabriel stood with them. "Alright. We can lay down and Gabriel can curl up on your stomach. I promise you will like being a vampire. You won't have to worry about James being so cruel..." He carried her to his room, Gabriel tailing close behind. And it wasn't long before she was laying on him, his arms around her waist.

Meanwhile, Gabriel moved onto the bed and laid his head on her stomach. "You smell different Helena...I like it...Its like blood and sexy..." He smiled a bit, his explanation weird. But she smelled appealing to him now because she was a female of his race. She was a sexy female vampire next to a very disturbed one who was desperately lusting for a vampire to have.

Helena wanted to believe whatever Alexander said, but it was hard to. James would never like her, that was what she thought. And so, she was sticking to that thought. For now though, she could focus on Alexander and Gabriel. She felt herself being laid on the bed, right beside Alexander. She wasn't going to let him get out of her grasp. She wasn't going to be all alone again. Holding tightly onto Alexander's waist, she nuzzled against his chest.

"I... Thank you.... I guess." Helena said with a grin. "I'm sorry I didn't finish your food." Helena added, before closing her eyes. Was Alexander destined to be her mate? She did not know... But she did like the idea. Maybe... Maybe if Alexander found Victoria, and James found Dawn, they could all be happy. But to be honest, Helena still had a sliver of hope, that one day she could befriend James.
