"And as for you..." She looked back at him for a moment, a smile on her face. "I like you a lot Alexander. Gabriel doesn't like it because I try to spend more time with you than him. But... Your... I mean you...." She began to stumble over her words, soon realizing that her cheeks were burning. "Your very attractive. And your a gentleman. Your strong, and smart, and self confident." She gulped for a moment, fearing she was going a bit overboard. "Your like that Prince Charming in fairy tales. Except your a vampire."
 
Alexander couldn't help but smile as she explained how she felt. "Well if fear is the only thing making you stay away from James, at least you are smart. He would kill you...Without a second thought. But as for Gabriel..." He let out a sigh. "Its a shame you couldn't meet him before he became like that." It was obvious in his voice that, unlike Gabriel, he didn't care to address the subject of Dawn and Victoria directly. "He was much like he is now but without the childish mind."

He smiled a little. "He was caring and sweet even if he was a bit naive. Now he is..." He sighed a again before kissing her neck. "But lets not depress ourselves. I am your Prince Charming then?" He leaned in closer to her neck and kissed lovingly. "Well then...I guess you are my damsel in distress...I will do my best to protect you from the evil James. Just as long as you stay with Gabriel or myself or stay in one of our rooms, you will be safe." A sudden look of realization came across his face. "Which reminds me...Gabriel and I will be going out tomorrow. Its sort of a tradition we have and I'm not really allowed to tell you what it is he does."

And just at that moment Gabriel walked into the room at normal human speed. He had orange stains on his fingers and cheeks and there was a bit of juice splashed on him. He was absolutely adorable. But he seemed to proud of the jug in his hand, filled to the top with orange juice. "I squeezed oranges for Helena."
