Kakure

She shrugged with a giggle. "Because I love the snow." she said to him. Walking over to the tree, she touched the frozen bark and ran her fingertips over the ice.

He nodded understanding that, it was just there where aot of several ice moves, but she picked blizzard. He found it ironic because they where going to go on top of a mountain.

After a minute of touching the tree, she turned to him and moved towards him. "Well, shall we be going?" she asked him. "I'm excited to get to mt. Coronet."

"Lets," he said looking at the map."Route 215 is where we want to get going," he told her. It was late afternoon, so he guessed they would have to camp out tonight, it would be good to find a nice cave or something but he was glad he pakced a nice tent.

Nodding she headed over to him and hooked her thumbs on the straps of her backpack. "Okay. How far do you think we're going to be able to go today?" she asked him.

"A good distance, we should be halfway through the route and close to the next route before sundown, we can make Coronet in three days if not sooner," he told her. He was glad it didn;t seem to far off.

Seth nodded and did so, they walked for a while, stopping to eat and drink. Soon however the sun was setting. He was rather pleased to see that they made decent distance though and most likly would be there in less then three days. "I think we should set up camp now."

Jewel walked along with Seth, sometime moving ahead of him to look around but she never left his sight nor did she go out of hearing range. When the sun began setting, she stayed close to him and she looked at Seth when he mentioned about setting up camp. "Do you want me to do a quick search to see if I can find a cave?" she asked him.

Nodding, Jewel turned and bound off into the trees. The girl was gone for almost ten minutes before she finally returned. "I found one. It's not very big, but it'll offer some covering for any kind of weather that might come along." she said. "Come on, it's this way." Reaching out, she grabbed one of his hands and led him into the woods. For several minutes they moved through the trees before they came to a small cave.

"Your right it does look like it culd shelter us through most wheather," he said as he saw it. "Good work," he smiled and went with her into the small cave. He got a flare out of his pocket and threw it into the cave before going in, a Zubat or two flew out but nothing else. The cave wasn't very big nor did it go very far in and he could walk all the way to the end and back with little effort. "Nothing seems to be using it right now either."

She flinched backwards a little as a couple of Zubats flew out of the cave and she sighed softly as she approached the cave after he entered. "At least it's cozy and out of the way so other travelers won't come across us." she said to him as she moves around the small cave.

"Yeah and it should be warming in here to....once I get a fire started," he said and went to making a small fire so they could get something to eat and then have some warmth.

She moved over to where he was starting the fire and sat down with her tail wrapped around her a little. "That's good. Since we're not too far from the ocean, it'll get fairly cold."

"Hopefully not to cold," he said as he got some food out o the packs and began cooking. It was othing fancy, but food was food and he ate just normal things like this as it was.

"No, I don't think it'll get too cold." she said to him, watching him cook. The eevee softly yawned and brushed her bangs back from her face before turning back to the fire and she watched it crackle.

He served the food giving her equal portion. "Well Bon appetite," he said and began to eat slowly.

"Thank you." she said to him. She smiled up at him and giggled softly before beginning to eat quickly. Jewel already seemed to be doing better then she was earlier.

They ate in some silence, Seth was enjoying how calm it had grown in the cave, it was very relaxing as he ate his meal.

After Jewel finished eating, she moved closer to Seth and curled up against his side as she watched the flames. As she sat there, she played with a string that was hanging from his shirt.

He smiled enjoying her company for the while, watching the fire blaze and crackle. It was beginning to grow late though. "I think we should get some sleep Jewel....tomorrow we will be walking for far longer," he said. He got the sleeping bags and unrolled them for the both of them.

"Okay." she said softly before softly yawning. After he unrolled the sleeping bags, Jewel crawled over to them and laid down upon one of them. "I know I've said this before, but thank you for taking such good care of me Seth." she said to him.

Seth yawned gently "And as I have said before, your welcome and it's not a problem, I enjoy your company...among other perks," he said and smiled sleepily.

She chuckled softly and smiled up at him before patting the spot next to her. "Come and lay down Seth. We're both tired." she said softly.
