Magical attraction

Sophie loved his scent, and took his hand to stand up. She brushed her clothes off and made her way over to the various cabinets around the gorgeous alchemy kit. There was everything that was needed for just about any potion ever created and then some. There were so many books also all around, many that she had studied over the course of her life. Her tail wagged happily, looking like she was in heaven. She took one book out and thumbed through it, wanting to see what she could still use. She sat on the table near the alchemy equipment, still looking through other books. "Caleb...this is the most perfect place that we could work. It has everything we could possibly need!" The little fox looked like a kid in a candy store.

Caleb was already putting the practice range through its paces. Most wand practice ranges couldnâ??t stand up to his double wand tricks being able to continue things longer than most. Both his wands were out and he was showing his style. Most wizards were content to stand on a line and blast back and forth counter-spells and attack spells meeting in the middle. Then there were the few that were known as battle wizards, they were a breed of long ages ago when great battles were fought between wizards. Caleb was one such wizard, he danced and dodged inter-weaving such a complex pattern of spells that most couldnâ??t have followed it. He stopped, kneeling lifting his head up from it bowed position he smirked at her. â??I know never have I had such a good work out. Itâ??s like this place was made for us.â? He smiled moving over to her reaching out stroking her hair, â??promise you will give me the benefit of the doubt on girls from now on huh?â?

Sophie smiled and looked up to watch him. It looked like he was going to damage the equipment, but none of it seemed even remotely dented after all the tricks he did on them. The flashes of light entranced her, and she set the book down. "Wow...you're really good. I'd bet even my family would be impressed with you." She blushed when he came over and stroked her hair. "I don't know if I can do that. You chose me...so there is a little doubt in my mind about your perceptions," she teased. She rested her head on his shoulder and smiled. "How did this place get here? Like you said, it's like it's made for us." She opened another book that had easier potions in it, then put it in front of him. "If you want, we can start working on some of these...They're just as easy as the one you tried today."

He laughed nuzzling against her ears softly as she questioned his perceptions. â??Typical healthy girl never willing to except that you are beautiful.â? He thought about leaning down on kissing her again but decided against it this time. His hand brushed her hair again before he came around and sat next to her his arm slipping around her shoulders. â??Sure but on one conditionâ?¦you hold my hand as we do.â? He smiled looking at her.

Sophie smirked and nodded, hiding the fact that she really wanted a kiss from the wolf that had his arm around her shoulders. But having him there, playing with her hair and nuzzling her ears was more than enough for her. "Certainly. I do believe I could do that for you." That smile on his lips was almost too much for the little fox, and she hopped down from the table to make her way to the alchemy setup.

He chuckled as she was almost flirting with him, though she was a bit out of practice for a girl. He smirked watching her tail swish from under her apprentice robes. Smirking as a rather naughty thought crossed his mind. He slipped his robe off his shoulders laying it over the chair he had been sitting in. All the girls at the school were required to wear either low thigh, or knee length skirts, he hoped that Sophie was one that liked the shorter ones but even if not he would still enjoy her tail being out and able to move more. He never understood what it was about girlâ??s tails but he had always liked them. Stepping up behind her he slipped her robe of her shoulders, â??let me take that for you so you can work easier...and I was thinking would you mind doing some for me, just letting me watch?â?

Sophie smiled and let him take her robe, her cute denim skirt a little above her knees, yet close enough for the teachers to let it slide. It didn't hurt that she was rather popular among the faculty, since she was better than a lot of them at what she did. "Thank you, Caleb." She was trying hard to not wag her tail, but it was almost painfully hard to not do. She really didn't want to inadvertently give him a show, yet. "You want me to let you watch? What would be in it for me, hmm?" She flipped the tip of her tail and smirked sweetly. Of course, she wanted to pounce him, but she wouldn't do it now. She wasn't the type to do that...especially after seeing that other girl kiss him.

Caleb suppressed a growl at the almost flirty flick of her tail. He wanted to just watch her as she worked her magic in alchemy much the same way that she had been watching him use his wands on the course. There also was that little bit of male in him that wanted to see her hoping she would lose herself and let him see a few things that he shouldnâ??t. however that wasnâ??t his main driving force in this really it was always a pleasure to watch someone do what they love and are really good at. â??Hmmmâ?¦you get to do what you love and I get the pleasure of watching you do what you love.â?

Sophie smirked and found a book with various potions in it, and she flipped to a transformation one. She flipped through the pages, making sure to read all the ingredients, and finding the quickest antidote to it, so she wouldn't have to stay an animal for too long. First, she would make the antidote, and put it in a place that she could get to before making the actual potion. She got the ingredients down from the various shelves, putting them in the cauldron on her left, making sure to mix them slowly over the fire. Once it was finished, she put a little into a small flask and set it down on the floor. She loved what she was doing, and her tail was wagging a little harder. She quickly got to work on the other potion. Once she finished, she grinned at him sweetly. "Bottoms up!" She quickly took a glass and dipped it in and drank it. Her body quickly changed, becoming smaller, yet cuter. Soon, she was a little fox cub, and couldn't resist prancing over to Caleb. She really couldn't resist playing with his shoelaces.

Caleb smiled watching her as she worked on the potions. He could see the aptitude that she had with the understanding of the process and control that she so easily had. He shook his head watching her with a smile on his face, even his parents would be impressed with how she was so easily able to slip from one thing to the next and know what she needed. He was about to try and stop her when she just tipped the potion back drinking it down faster than he could move. Laughing as she played with his shoelaces he smiled leaning down to pick her up laying her in his lap and gently stroking her fur. â??Well now I thought you were cute before but you are just too cute.â?

Sophie squirmed when he picked her up. That was one of the last things she expected him to do, only to be topped by being put in his lap. But she liked how he was petting her, and she stretched out to take it all in. A soft murr escaped the little fox's throat, and she licked his hand sweetly. She rolled over onto her back and took his hand between her paws, her tail wagging. Wait!!! What am I doing? I like him, and here I am in his lap, letting him pet me and call me cute! She stood up and licked his cheek, before jumping down onto the floor. The antidote was a quick trot away, and she picked it up in her mouth and drank it. Soon, she was back to her normal self, just sitting on the floor. "Did you really mean it, Caleb?"

Caleb smiled nuzzling against her as she licked his cheek. He was about to go back to petting her and stroking her tail, but she had other ideas. As she changed back he smiled moving down on to the floor with her just a few feet away. â??Did I mean what? That you were cute as that little fox oh yes I meant that.â? He moved closer leaning in whispering into her ear, â??And yes you are cute, though I think that beautiful might fit better.â?

Sophie blushed and looked up at him placing her hand on his. "Thanks, Caleb...I don't know what I would do without you." She shivered, enjoying his closeness and the fact that he was willing to stay with her. No one ever wanted to be anywhere near her in the first place, so this was a whole new concept to her. "I still don't see how you can view me as beautiful, though."

He shook his head slowly not wanting to argue more. â??Fine we agree that you are wrong in thinking youâ??re not beautiful and itâ??s all over.â? He smiled knowing that she would catch that little switch he had pulled but that didnâ??t stop him. He was about to stand up and take her hand to get back to some alchemy when the chime for the ending meal of the day rang. All students were meant to attend and it would look very bad if they didnâ??t show up. He stood holding his hand out to her, â??come on we better go and hurry.â?

Sophie made a protesting squeak, playfully slapping his arm. "I agreed to no such thing! You're putting words in my mouth now!" She took his hand and stood up, having heard the chimes also. "It's about time...I'm starving!" She smirked and lightly rubbed his ear. "You're right. We'll have more issues if we're late." She found her robe and slipped it on, before stepping out of the room. As it was, they had been a part of that scene out on the quad, and that couldn't exactly bode well for them when they went to dinner.

Caleb smiled and quickly followed her out his hand slipping into hers as the door, or rather wall sealed behind them. They headed for the dining hall hand in hand, drawing more than a few stares from their fellow class mates. The doors to the dining hall were wide open waiting for them and the remainder of the students to arrive.

Sophie blushed and tried her hardest to wish herself invisible. She hated being stared at for long periods of time. They slipped into the dining hall and she sat down next to him. "Caleb...why do we have to be subjected to their stares? I feel like I was in a zoo. Maybe I should have stayed a baby fox...I wouldn't have to deal with this." And you could have carried me in here, she added in her own head.

He couldnâ??t help but chuckle a little as he leaned over whispering in her ear after they had been seated. â??Yes, but you would have drawn a lot more attention because people would have finally realized how cute you are.â? He smirked knowing his arm was going to get hit for that one but he really didnâ??t care. Anyone that was staring or pointing at the two of them got a quick stare down with Caleb and soon it stopped or at least wasnâ??t as noticeable.

Sophie's ears folded back in annoyance, but she would let that comment slide...for now. She would get him back later when they were alone again, but she was going to be civil while they ate dinner. She was just about to start on her delicious smelling food when she heard an all too familiar, high pitched voice call from across the hall."Caleb! I wanna sit next to you!" Sophie tried to huddle up into an invisible ball to avoid being seen, but once more, she was pushed out of the way so Kari could sit between her and Caleb.

Caleb growled as Kari called out to him. He was about to stand up and leave when she just about fell on him as she pushed Sophie to the side. He was pulled back down as she obviously pressed his arm between her breasts. Even now he was about to push away from her and grab Sophieâ??s hand and get out of there.

Kari could tell he was about to run and so she did the one thing that she could think of to keep him there. Turning his head toward hers she kissed him deeply forcing her tongue into his shocked mouth and making it very obvious just how deep of a kiss this was.

Sophie couldn't hold back a whimper as she watched the she wolf kiss him...again. The hoots and hollers from the people close to them quickly infected everyone in the hall. It was so wrong. She pushed her plate away, having lost her appetite when Kari showed up. For the second time that day, Sophie stood up and stormed out of the hall, and no one tried to stop her. She broke into a run once she was out of sight of the dining hall, and eventually curled up in one of the alcoves. Once she was alone again, she buried her face in her knees and started sobbing.

He pushed Kari back growling deeply at her. His hand came up taking her lower jaw a bit roughly in it and looked her in the eyes. â??Donâ??t ever do that again!â? he was almost yelling at her enough that everyone that had been watching was able to hear him and gasp. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Sophieâ??s red tail disappear around the door as she ran. He was after her and many of the students followed. He knew the type of place she loved to hide but still sent out a seeker to find her and was right behind it as it turned the corner to where she was hiding. â??I never would kiss that bitch.â? He was using the term right too considering how often Kari was in heat or seemed to be.

Sophie looked up to see Caleb come around the corner, then looked away, staring off in the distance at the view around the school. The fox heard him speak, but she didn't say anything for sometime, acting like she was ignoring him. When she finally spoke, her voice was soft. "Why do people like her always get what they want? Why is it that no one will stand to correct them? It doesn't seem like they deserve anything, or anyone, that they get." After another moment, she turned to look back at him. "If I wasn't here, you would more than likely still be in there with her." She gave a short, sardonic laugh. "Maybe no one really wants me anyway. I'm nothing to anyone."

He growled as she accused him of not being who he was. Grabbing her hand he pulled her up into his arms holding her close, â??I know this much if you werenâ??t here I would be much more lonely because I would be running away from her just like I do now.â? He looked into her eyes feeling his lips starting to be drawn to hers and he started to lower his lips to hers, â??And you should get what you want toâ?¦what is it?â? his lips were almost touching hers.

She whimpered when he pulled her up and held her close. Sophie looked up at him and sighed, knowing she couldn't run if things didn't go right. She felt the unyielding pull of her lips to his, wanting to kiss him, and wanting him to kiss her and make her feel better. Her arms wrapped around his waist, and she moved closer to him, whispering softly, "I-I want you to kiss me...and mean it. I want to mean something to you." She blushed when the words left her mouth, not knowing just how he might take it.
