Fai was molding into him, and Kurogane let out a groan. That one surprised exclamation filled his mind with possibilities and fantasies. What else could he pull from this out going, yet entirely reserved man? He imagined soft gasps, nervous mewls, and above all else, a blissful cry of his name. Kurogane molded his large palm over Fai's clear excitement, and found himself grinning at the adorable reaction. His vision was blocked by his position, but he could feel the embarrassment radiating from the body in his arms; and it only made Kurogane want him more.
Still, he was no monster. If Fai said 'no,' he would find the strength to pull away. So he could find the patience to let the man think. Even if thinking was the last thing he wanted the mage to be doing. He paused as Fai began to speak, stilling his wandering hands but not removing them from their places. Kurogane stood straighter so that he could look down and actually see that pretty face, but it was being hidden away. Kurogane's grin faded into a straight line and his eyebrows pinched together.
That wasn't the easiest question to answer. He did trust Fai, and yet he didn't. The mage kept so much of himself hidden away, held so many secrets, and there had been more than a few times when he saw something frightening in sapphire eyes. He shouldn't trust this man at all, but as the days went on he found himself sleeping more and more soundly at night.
Kurogane pulled his hand out from between Fai's legs to instead reach up and grasp the mage's chin and force him to look up. His expression wasn't hard, but it wasn't gentle either. Fai needed an answer, and he needed a real one. Bluntly saying 'yes' was easy, but it was a lie. "Sometimes," he answered simply. It was a serious answer, but he followed it up with a teasing smirk. "I can definitely trust you to steal the good booze."
