Turning to face him, she looked back and forth between Soren, the bank of the river where he sat and the opposite side of the river. She knew that if she escaped to the opposite side of the river, she would have a small chance of getting away from him. She was small and fast, but he knew the forest like the back of his hand.
With a soft sigh she slowly began wading back towards him but she stopped in the shallow waters to squeeze water from her long hair and from her long bushy tail as she stared at him.
