Got a favorite song from an anime? Whether the opening or the ending, a fight song or anything in-between, drop some of your favorite tracks and covers here.

I gotta start with Smile Bomb from the English Dub of Yu Yu Hakusho. So smooth an opening into a pretty heavy series.

 
Cowboy Bebop's got a lot of good themes (and one of the best renditions of "Ave Maria" I've ever heard). So three, two, one...let's jam!
















 
Samurai Champloo first introduced me to Nujabes, particularly via "The Million Way of Drum":




And of course, I'd be remiss not providing the accompanying scene (one of my favorites in any anime):
 
"White Reflection" from Gundam Wing's Endless Waltz is one of the first anime songs I remember hearing, back when Cartoon Network still had afternoon anime blocks on Toonami:
 
Ever the man of culture, Vyce. Gundam Wing was my shit growing up, right next to the classic DBZ. Both the openers for Gundam Wing slapped though!

P.S. Deathscythe was better than Wing Zero just for rocking a scythe, and yes I am biased as hell. I ain't here to argue!



 
Speaking of DBZ, Pikkon's theme was always a fave. (A pity they never did more with the guy, though.)




And Garlic Jr's theme brings back memories too...
 
Pikkon's theme is so legendary. I wish he got more than a filler arc and a brief cameo in the Fusion Reborn movie. Faluconer killed his theme!

Before I get back to my writing grind, let me leave one more mix. Cell Saga was peak DBZ for me, personally, and Vegeta's Super Saiyan theme was one of my favorite songs to emerge from that era.

Two OPs. The first one was on my gym playlist for the past handful of years. Reason why should be self-evident. Second one's a very different vibe, and while Ultimate was a sight to see, the original anime has the superior music (so good Ultimate stole a few tracks, even) full stop.

Also, I've been in a bit of a Yugioh kick since Master Duel came out, so here's me paying homage to that (though given my decklist I really should have posted Swing! Pendulum of Souls). There's other strong Yugioh OST/OP/ED picks, but I figure I'd just yoink the one from the one nobody watched because VRAINS did not deserve this as an OP.

Started my Gundam-journey on Friday and I'm already halfway through the 0079 Gundam. Due to this I've listened a lot of OPs from various Gundam series. Both OPs of Wing slap hard, and every OP if Iron-Blooded Orphans is also a banger. BLUE ENCOUNT's "Survivor" and "Rage of Dust" from SPYAIR have been on-repeat for the whole weekend basically hah hah:


 
Code Geass. To be honest, probably one of the greatest mecha animes ever with story given all the tragedy elements, character building, and believable characters. Also, the fact that Code Geass isn't afraid to 'write' characters off(AKA Bad Ends, hope you have tissue, cause some of it is really depressing if it is your first run.) (Dunno much how the dub over is for the anime as I watch all my in subs.)
