Hunter was well aware of some of his legendary gear being unavailable to use, but he had spent a lot of money getting an ultimate version of the game, almost £100 where it allowed him to unbond items from his characters allowing him to sell many of the legendary gear off to the right clases.
Thought it did mean, he would not give this gear to just anyone, everything still had its level cap after all.

He chuckled at her joke before saying "Well, I like to earn more trophies, more satisfying that way but maybe I'll buy whatever it is your offering, once we know each other better". He also seemed to be thinking about her offers to lower the prices because she brought the stuff in before he nodded "Seems fair"

He leaned back as she strip infront of him giving him a very good glimps of just how beautiful and sexy she was before he answered her question "I take special request as long as you have the materials to back them up, it take about a day to build them but there are ways to make time pass quicker if you know what to do" He told her with a smile.

He watched her put on her show before crawling towards him to start open his legs, which revealed his large bulge on his pants before he stroked her head as he said in a lustful growl "I'll call you good girl If you call me master"

While Night kept smiling and advancing on the man, her head - or more like the player behind her - was trying to remember everything about weapons and armor for assassins that come as rules or rumors, recently or from the beginning.

Night purred out a "Master Smith!" with overplayed awe, trying to gauge if Hunter just accepted it, or had some problem ... buth with her using her crafting skill in reverse to Unmake, to get him out of his clothes, she kind of counted on being distracting enough. With her holding and opening his trouser, with him letting her do it, it was on a gray area similar to trading. Accepting to let her take it made the item hers to access, while still on him, and she basically dissolved it. It was usually easier to just put clothes in the inventory by calling up the holographic controls, but seeing that he was such an experienced and high level someone, most of the controls worked with intent, not even having to open the controls. Of course, it led to cheeky creative Dark elves even with low level of Pick Pocketing unraveling low level items instantly... Real armor or magical items, or even high level items took much more time and various skills, but plain clothes counted as level one... and while possibly rich and costly, rarely magical.

Hopefully getting his trousers off by like magic in a puff, she just let go of the gained materials to fall around them instead of opening her inventory and putting them away. But Night intended to use them later.

Now, she has better things to focus on, namely the man's erection, hopefully aroused enough for her to be able to catch the hardening and straightening member with just her mouth - her hands still on his legs. Putting her breasts on his thighs, Night bobbed her moistened lips down around the cock, letting it hit the back of her mouth.

Then she looked up at him, smiling widely, her eyes almost red with lust, before she started moving back and forth, giving head without touching him with her teeth. She learned that lesson when she tried sucking off the first creatures, it seemed that they was programmed just to react, and contact with teeth meant attack... And an attack breaks a charm, be it magical or done with a more natural way...

As she called him Master, it send a pleasurable shudder down Hunter spine as he stroked her head. "That's a Good Girl, Master is very happy with you" He said to her with a smile,. He liked being called master when he was having sex as it tapped into an old kink of his where he rp as a master for sexy time with one of his ex's

As she removed his clothes, it revealed a muscular and tonned young man, with a few scars upon his body, as well as his having a large 9 inch thick cock, he would groan in pleasure as she took it in her mouth. Stroking her hair showing her the affection a good master would show to his servent.

Not one to leave someone else hanging though, Hunter began to rub her covered pussy with his foot before saying "How about you let me make you feel good as well Good Girl?". He wanted to 69er with her so he could please her as well, plus he could steal her panties incase he needed to track her down.

@Mike the Bloodwolf

Night grinned, - as much as she could grin with her mouth full of cock -, and did a handstand she would have never be able to do in outside real life. With her over the line dexterity and in every other way almost superhuman body, Night hust grabbed Hunter's thighs with her hands, and laying her lower arms along his upper legs, she balanced herself by her mouth sucking on that cock. Pushing up with her legs, she let her knees open and slid her shins on either side of his head to rest on his shoulders.

Resting her legs on Hunter and sliding them back enough for him to reach her naked lips with his mouth - her waist cloth conveniently falling downwards and she did remove her armor that would usually function as her panties -. With her breasts away from his body, they was still close enough for his hands to reach them around her, as she let his cock slide deeper into her mouth.

Night really loved the game for how gagging on a cock didn't counted as damage, until she started choking on it... And if he wasany good with his mouth, she wouldn't really care if she started to loose some HP. Spending her last days on the beach, she had got used to loosing HP under water and was comfortable with only coming up for air when it became too much.

Mrreoww.
"I know, Lili. That place was fucking unbearable..." The man who just appeared at the warp crystal of Evercrest along with his black cat who stood beside him, both visibly wet and covered in random bits of leaf, twig and dirt and both smelling like wet dirt. Evidently he had just returned from the [Hungry Jungle] zone, and if his expression wasn't any indication of how it went then one only needed to glance at the wet, clearly unhappy cat beside him to figure out the rest. The cat, apparently named Lili, shook herself to try and get some of the mess off her just as they got to moving again.

Rivelin walked closer to the center of the hub to turn in a hunting quest he just finished.... barely. Given how he was lower level than average, barely anybody was interested in assisting him with the things that he needed to do. And given how he was a cleric, his own damage output was not really anything remarkable. Rivelin had managed to find something that helps significantly in that regard. That being a certain artifact that allows him to call forth all kinds of monsters that are appropriate for his level. For now they aren't too impressive, but if anything it is always useful to have a meat shield.

Ignoring all of the peddlers and crafters who had set up shops all over the place, Riveling walked straight towards the Bishops Manor - an NPC home located not too far from the Warp Crystal and the residence of one of the many Cleric class trainers in the game, as well as the place he was turning in that hunting quest. Turns out that for some reason the people in the manor don't seem to like the cannibalistic tribesmen located in the vicinity of the Tiger Claw temple. The mansion was a very peaceful place, certainly. Despite not being religious himself, Rivelin did enjoy the atmosphere of this place. He walked over to the local garden which had a small fountain in it. Lili seemed to know what was coming next and attempted to stay further away from her master. Unfortunately for her, Rivelin was having none of that. Some growling and hissing later, Lili was still wet but at least she was not dirty anymore. Another shake and a whole bunch of licking would fix that for the most part, and Rivelin sat on one of the many chairs scattered around the garden to wait for his companion to finish cleaning herself.

Once the cat had finished cleaning and grooming herself, they both stood up and started walking towards the central districts of Evercrest, in search of a party member who would not treat him like a heal-bot or simply some pleasant company. After his previous run to the in the jungle, Rivelin was not at all too eager to return back there.

It didn't take long for some people to walk up to him and borderline demand that Rivelin come along just to heal them. As much as he was willing to help people out when truly needed, he refused to be an enabler to those who recklessly run face first into danger while treating the cleric as mostly and infinite health potion. That was just poor practice.

Oh boy....

@ChrisGabriel

Hunter smile widened as he watched her reposition herself so her pussy was now lined up with his mouth, he leaned forward and move the cloth out off the way as he began to suck and lick her pussy. His hands would reach forward to squeeze her breasts, rubbing both her nipples between his middle finger and thumb on both hand.

He then pushed his tounge into her pussy, aiming to find and lick her g spot to make her moan in pleasure. But he was also now struggling with a different feeling, the wolf inside was getting more and more aroused, wanting to break free and ravage this dark elf, his scent would get stronger and more werrwolf like, his cock seemed to twitch more as well.

He decided that he would only let his wolf out to play once he had made her cum but still felt he had to be fair to her so he slowly pulled his tounge out her pussy before he said to her "If you don't mind; after we've cummed here. My wolf wants to play with you as well, I'll give you double discount if you agree". Before he pushed his tounge back into her pussy to keep licking her, slowly pulling out to lick her libra as well, just to try and give her even more pleasure.

@Mike the Bloodwolf

Night would have spoken if her mouth wasn't full of Hunter's cock even before, but at his question about his wolf, she just nodded. Either he knew some high level trick to turn into a wolf or summon one, it would be a great way to have a cockin her increasingly wet pussy. After all, Hunter had the tongue and endurance to get her there, and even if he filled her mouth or came on her, the wolf - even if it was he who transformed - would have full stamina and ready to go... Night started squirming more at the idea, her mind making her even more aroused and definitely hotter, so she almost choked on his cock and choked him with her pussy as she pushed herself more against his face and crossed her feet behind his head...

Hurry up!

Iziki rubs her gloved hands together as protection against the frost as she mentally pushes her companions forward. Well, one companion in particular really.

"We're almost to the way stone, and can get out of this accursed cold."

"But it hurts!" whined AlexandusMagnus, strapping orcish beserker, as he rubbed gingerly at his wrist. "If we had a real healer maybe it wouldn't slow me down so much."

The dark elf Nantes offers a protestation, "It's boss-level wyvern necropoison. It's a level 75 cure. I'm one level away. Besides, you're the one who picked up adds while fighting an elite boss."

"Or maybe you just suck. My last group's cleric fixed it just fine at 71."

Iziki sighs. Bitter cold and casual newb were not a good mix. And healer bashing always got under her skin. Thankfully she had been very Lawful and Good on this trip, so she could afford a little Chaotic without causing … an incident.

"Necropoison is unholy attribute damage, so a divine-spec gets a three level base boost, which could have been enhanced … the most simple explanation is they were a luna cleric with the moon full, though of course, it could also have been done if you were shielded with a retribution or peace cleric's Protective Synergy. The only way a druid could have done it is with Shamanistic Fervor combined with a potency potion, while standing in an Aura of Crystalline Competence. But 1) we don't have a tempest spec elementalist to throw the aura and 2) even if we did, Nantes is using medium armor, and potency potions don't increase fervor if they're not in light armor or less and 3) why in the name of Tyranon the Blessed did you use a large AoE in a small chamber? Do you know how hard it is to tank spectral attacks through a friggin' wall while holding aggro on an elite boss? There's the 75% line of sight penalty to any taunt, plus the debuff, plus …"

Realizing she may be revealing a bit too much, Iziki trails off, "…uh I mean, it's just hard." Not like she's run the numbers on aggro decay through indirect line of sight under frost boss debuffs or anything. Because only a progression power-gamer would do something like that. And that was the last thing Iziki needed to be right now. "I'm just your friendly neighborhood tavern owner. But you are lucky you're not dead. Most healers would have lost you, so don't blame Nantes, please."

Alexandus blinks under the pounding torrent of words, "Uh, OK. It still hurts, though."

"Yeah, alright. Here, have some demonfruit whiskey. It's pretty good for pain killing. And for protection from cold." She hands over a flask from her belt. "Now, lets get to the way stone. "

*****

A few moments later she materializes in Evercrest. Brushing some snow off her pelted shoulders, she hopes she doesn't run into any fox familiars on the way across the city to the tavern. Those judging eyes as they took in her furry insulation were pretty uncomfortable. But not as uncomfortable as a jaunt to Silver Top without proper gear.

In adventuring boots, without her normal around-the-town towering heels, the merchant stood at only 4'9" from the tips of her prodigious ears down to the thick soles (which still added an inch). Most elves get slapped with 'knife ear', but describing Iziki, any racist would need to step it up to daggers. A emeraldine crystal shield hangs from her back, blonde ponytail slipping neatly under its curve. Beneath the pelts, a chainmail sweater swells dramatically around her chest before arcing in to her slender elven waist. Even with the padded chemise beneath, it was somehow still form-fitting, like most MMO gear - female MMO gear anyhow. Another poor snow fox had contributed to her belt, providing protection in the seam where her top and bottom meet, and holding the clasp for her sword. Tight, thick leather embraces her lower half on the way down to the cuffs of her boots.

She wears little jewelry outside her gear, Silver Top turns most exposed metal into torture devices. Though a slew of rings adorn her fingers, were she to remove her gauntlets – what self respecting totally-not-a-progression-powergamer would venture out without at least five pieces of jewelry? And to offer further proof, she had resisted temptation and only two of them were best-in-slot!

Always a little alert, azure eyes follow those on approach – never know when a PK is about – and she keeps moving to prevent any stealthers coming up behind.

@ChrisGabriel

As she nodded, Hunter growled all the more lustful, his ring glowed slightly as well. But right now, his main focus was on making this beautiful dark elf cum, so he buckled down and really started to get into it. His every lick of her pussy would be precise and perfect, doing the right speed to get the best kinds of reaction from her, his hands went stronger and more lustful on her breasts and nipples, he pushed his nose to rub the top of her pussy.

He wanted to make her moan and get more and more aroused, he wanted to make her squirm in pleasure and lust, his wolf was getting more involved too, making his moves more primal more animalistic to cause even more pleasure, his cock was ready to explode in her mourn but he wanted to make her cum, make her cry out his name in pleasure, his dominace really coming though now. "I want you to cum for me Good Girl" He said breifly pulling out her pussy to say something to her more dominate before diving stright back in again.

Kain wasn't the least bit concerned about his own safety, nor really his party members. They were going to have to speak up if they needed him to change something on what he was doing, if not then he was going to keep drawn the aggro that he had been and doing it well enough as all the remaining enemies were focused on him. Primarily hitting the shield held in front of him as small chip damage was dealt to Kain, and some in return thanks to the special armor that he had been wearing. All his focus was on the skeleton in front of him, reducing the damage received by staying still and using his shield in front of him until Mint had yelled for him to watch out.

The corrupted skeleton was coming from his left, and Kain already knew they could hurt. They dealt a considerable amount of damage and Kain had slowly been soloing this level for some time now working his way up. As much damage as the Skeletons did, this was still an MMO with strange logic that shouldn't make as much sense as it did now that they were trapped in the game. Turning his attention away from the regular Skeleton, Kain used [Shield Bash] to 'counter' the attack of the Corrupted Skeleton. All this did, was temporarily stun the Corrupted Skeleton and cause it to lose its queued-up attack that was going to hit Kain for a lot of damage.

Following up after that, he used the activated ability of his [Brightroar] Legendary Sword, and increased the damage of his next attack by an extra 200% based off of his Physical Defense which was considerably high thanks to his armor, and even higher now thanks to Mint. It allowed Kain to be able to actually 'one-shot' the remaining HP of the Corrupted Skeleton, albeit leaving the last remaining Skeleton alive now and easily taken down.

"Not bad. You didn't do too bad for being so under leveled." They had only taken out one group of these basic enemies in this region. His sword now on a long cooldown for another two minutes, it made grinding in this area a pain since he relied on the activated ability to deal with tough enemies like that Corrupted Skeleton when he was soloing.

Turning his attention towards Mint. "Thank you for the healing, I'm sure we can come up for some sort of payment if you require any from me." He smiled, though mainly teasing her about her previous requests for payment back in Evercrest.

@Mike the Bloodwolf

Night felt all the programmed blood rush into her head, as she was upside down. On the other hand, all the sensations that tongue was making her feel filled her virtual body with virtual arousal and pleasure... It was a feeling all together that could possibly cause bleeding in a brain when it finally exploded into an orgasm, leaving her crying out gagged by the cock. Her thighs trembling around Hunter's head, as she had flexed them just before his licking and sucking on her pussy catapulted her into pleasure.

That she was already high strung and his scent was just adding to the thick saft's taste in her mouth, Night couldn't wish for much more... He did pushed all three of her nubbins with his nose and fingers, leaving her tremblingfor along time, then sagging against him as she relaxed, maybe even more deepthroating him in the process.

Rath continued to fight alongside Mint and Kain, his own blade scoring hit after hit. He didn't care for having to fight like this, but the blows he did take from even the base skeletons put him in the red more often than he was used to. Granted this helped with his damage boosts, but he was quite on edge as he kept an eye on his HP, seeing only a sliver before Mints healing would kick on and restore it.

It was one reason why some shyed away from the Berserker class: Most of the 'good' builds relied on having low HP to increase damage output, and for lower-level players this could very well be a death sentence. But Rath, by both skill and luck, had managed to make it this far.

And while he wasn't too happy about not being able to score the killing blow on the Corrupted Skeleton, the truth was he likely couldn't at his level; besides, he still got a nice chunk of EXP for doing some damage to it. And with Kain's assistance, he did manage to kill the last Skeletons, a loud warcry echoing out as he landed another critical hit, the boney enemy scattering into fragments.

"Ugh...heh...hehe..Take that...Ya fleshless sob..." Rath huffed, feeling particularly winded as he hunched over; his Enrage had ended, and that too had a cool-down. 5 minutes. There would also be a debuff over his head for 10 minutes, "Berserker Exhaustion x1" It was a balancing mechanic that could be lessened in severity on higher levels, but it basically worked like the Dungeons & Dragons class. Too much Exhaustion and you keeled over. Rath had gone to Exhaustion x3 before and he felt like he was gonna die, he couldn't imagine what the higher levels felt like

"Shit...Can't wait...to level up...And not have...to deal with this so much..." Rath panted, his breathing starting to level off as he replied to Kain's compliment, "Im...pretty sure without you lot...I'd be dead...But thanks..." He raised a hand and slapped himself across the face, shaking his head to get himself.

"So...Any chance you both mind sticking around? Kinda, you know, still want to fight....Get some more experience and levels." Rath asked Mint and Kain, starting to go through his Skill Points and distributing them; he had reached Level 29, just shy of 30 which would unlock a particular Skill node: Vengeful Backlash. It was something that translated any damage he received into a hard swing that dealt that damage on top of his own attack damage.

As the men fought on, Mint remained in the background hugging her staff. She had to spend most of the battle keeping an eye on their stats and any debuffs. Sadly, she couldn't do much about their cooldowns, but help keep them safe during periods of possible vulnerability.

The elf's face lit up with glee as the corrupt skeleton finally took its tumble. Mint cheered on from the background, "Nice!" As for Rath, she needed to keep a close eye on his HP. Her restore over time spell seemed to be keeping him afloat, and the defense buffs sure didn't hurt.

Rath and Kain would manage to finish the other skeleton giving the party finally a moment of peace. They had won!

Once it was all clear, Mint closed the distance between them by running up. "Good job! Oooo, did we get any good drops?" She quickly opened up her inventory to see what might have been sent her way, although it was usually those who did the most damage or got the final blow often got the best drops, but there was some randomness in the division to give everyone a fair shot. To keep up with Mint's luck in the game, she didn't see anything new and worthwhile in her inventory. Oh, well...

Skeleton 3 (Killed by Rath - Bonus EXP) [Dropped: 1 bone, 2 ores, and 27G]
Corrupt Skeleton (Killed by Kain - Bonus EXP) [Dropped: 12 bones, 5 ores, 1 ruby*, and 132G]
Mint; No Kills [Her party drop total: 5 bones, 2 ores, and 47G]
* = Rarity

Mint groaned to herself, "Why did I have to be a stupid healer...?"

Her attention darted away from fruitless drops to Rath when he asked if they would stick around. Curious, she pulled up his profile again to check on his progress. Once she got the information she needed, she waved her free hand, and the pop-up disappeared. "So, we need to kill a few more skeletons to get you to 30? That's easy!" She rubbed the back of her neck as she thought about the other locations within the Forgotten Lands. "I mean, we could try to make this trip more worthwhile by exploring." She looked up at Kain for his opinion. While Mint was technically the party leader, she knew she actually wasn't. They couldn't do this without him, especially without a full party. They also needed to watch their step or they may attract too many foes.

"I'm not sure how soon we want to head back to Evercrest or how risky we want to play." She glanced over to Rath, "I guess until you think I earned my gold." She gave him a cheeky smile, but a lighthearted one at most. Still gold-hungry even after a battle, but who could blame her? While Rath might have been displeased at not getting a killing blow, she was painfully used to it.

As she waited for Kain's insight, she closed her eyes to focus on her mana. Her minty blue color danced around her form in the shape of an aura, and she appeared checked-out as she entered an alternative state. However, she would still hear them as distant voices. While using the ability [Trance], her guard was entirely down to focus inward, but her mana would restore quicker over time for as long as Trance was activated, and it allowed her next spell to be a critical hit/heal. While she still had a decent amount of mana, but she kept with her magic class of always trying to stay at 100% mana. Not only that, but it was hindering if her mana ended up getting too low. At least for Mint, she was faced with side effects.

@ChrisGabriel

It did not take much more for Hunter to moan loudly in pleasure as the twitching became too much and he blasted a massive load into Night mouth as she deepthroated him, he had never imagined the feeling being as good as it was, she was certainly one of the better players he had ever had sex with, the good thing being that there were no risks involved when players have sex, so he enjoyed being able to fuck as many as he did.

Once they were done, he undid Night feet from his neck to let her down onto the floor softly before he nibbled the top of her ear as he said "You certainly were a good girl there, but master has one more surprise for you, get into a doggy style postion and get ready for the fuck of your life". He step back breifly to give him the room he needed, before he began to change, his body began to change and become taller, fluffier, his face become more like a wolf, his still erect cock would also increase in size as a knot appeared at the bottom of it, he now stood at 14 feet tall with an 11 inch cock. He looked down at Night's and growled softly as he said in a deep growly voice "Ass or pussy, you decide Good girl"

Rivelin knew the looks he was getting from some of the other players passing by. They were the kind of looks that practically screamed 'what the hell is a healer doing by himself' and 'why isn't he helping ME right now' without realizing that if anything it was Rivelin who needed the assistance, not just them. Thankfully he had managed to get his hands on a rather interesting trinket as loot from a boss monster he had to take down for a quest, which he barely managed to keep after a rather intense debate with the dwarven Archer of the party at the time.

Rivelin pulled out this trinket from his inventory and began using it; a shiny object glowing with a mysterious green energy, which when inspected would reveal the name [Pandora's Lantern] along with its two spells listed on it. The first one is called [Mystic Binding] which has a chance to immobilize a single creature for 5 seconds. The ability also detailed that if the target is killed while it is bound by this spell, the target would get absorbed by the lantern and taken inside. Once inside, the capturing process would begin with the success rate depending on both the rarity of the creature and level difference between the user and target. A common creature has a 70% chance to get captured, an uncommon one has 30% chance while a rare/elite creature drops to 10% chance. If the capturing process fails, the creature pops out of the Lantern with 25% of it's max health left on the spot where it was killed. The spell mentions that it is possible to use the spell to immobilize another player, but not capture them even if they die while bound.

The second spell and the one Rivelin had used just then, was named [Call Servant] which when cast would bring forth a creature that had been captured inside the Lantern in the exact same state that it had been when last seen, with the exception of a freshly captured creature. Freshly captured creatures always had 10% of their max hp left when first summoned. The summoned creature is treated as a personal NPC companion by the system, which allows the wielder of the Lantern limited control over the creature in the form of choosing its general behavior from a set of defaults; [Aggressive / Defensive / Passive]. In addition, the owner of the Lantern could give the companions simple orders like Attack, Defend, Stay, Follow and other similar ones, which the creature would always do what was told to the best of its ability. By default, all newly captured companions are set to the [Defensive] behavior, and that is exactly where Rivelin would keep his latest addition to his collection. From the Lantern he had summoned a wild Tiger (Lv33), fresh from his last expedition. This one was of the common variety, as his previous Marsh Hobgoblin (Lv29) not being able to match up to the tougher mobs guarding the Tiger Claw Temple, not to mention anything inside it.

Naturally Rivelin began healing his newest companion, who he decided to call Ren, with some cheap regeneration spells. He had long since found out that regeneration spells were more cost-effective in terms of mana-to-healing ratio compared to traditional spells that healed a decent amount at once. After the next 15 seconds, the tiger would be up to 30% hp if left unmolested. He would repeat this pattern until the tiger stood proud at 100% hp a minute and a half later, the nasty wounds on it closing up and her fur coat receiving a healthier gloss as her health rose while they walked.

It wasn't too long until Rivelin spotted a familiar sight. Iziki. An elven lady-knight, a well known merchant and tavern owner with bright blue eyes and a sense of morality Rivelin wished more of the players had. Even though he had visited the tavern Iziki owned and had seen her a few times in passing, they had never actually shared words with each other yet, mainly due to her running a business and things needing to be done. He knew a that the foods and drinks sold at [Striver's Taphouse] had buffing traits to them, so perhaps now would be as good of a time as any to get in contact with her. "Hey." He called out to the elf as he approached, thus announcing his presence to her. When she would turn to look, she would see a man flanked by two cats. A small, pure black cat with a forked tail raised high to the sky on his right side, and a sturdy looking tiger on the left, both of them looking at Iziki curiously. He knew of their drastic level gap, but wasn't worried in the slightest given her reputation. "Just got back in town from somewhere? I'm Rivelin." He said and extended a hand towards her with a smile, offering a shake.

Panting from the experience and the pleasure she just got through - and the need for air after gagged by that human cock - Night wasstaring mesmerized at the change. "Give me your puppies, and mine would be yours!" she finally moaned on all fours, presenting her backside by laying down on her face and full breasts, wriggling, reaching back with her hands to spread her pussy. "Fill this one this time." whining, Night was trembling in anticipation, and still aroused enough to not think too much. The lenght and thickness of his monster cock up until his knot was just a little bit big in the good way, but the Dark Elf doubted she could take his knot fully... But she would definitely try, even if she had to activate some skills and powers and startgettingsome aggravateddamagefrom that.Night shuddered, now having an idea how real PvP could work - loosing to someone without fighting him.

Well, Night got ready to be plowed hard, and to take a healing potion right out from her inventory, if needed. She did not wanted to die, but there was no way she would say no to getting fucked by this werewolf.

@Ahlanna

As soon as she steps back onto the streets of Evercrest City, Kelira feels a rush of relief run through her. No more monsters to worry about here. No more surprises potentially jumping out at her from behind every tree and bush. She closes her eyes, just taking a moment to take in the smells and sounds of the street. It isn't really real. She knows that. But it might as well be for how it feels.

Her minor wounds are slowly healed by the trickle of the regeneration spell she had cast during the last fight. It still felt strange to her that *wounds* were a thing she had to deal with as a part of day-to-day life. Back in her former life, the worst she had ever contended with was a twisted ankle from a soccer game and the occasional scrape or bruise. Now, her daily life included crazy creatures swinging weapons at her and trying to kill her.

She had to admit that today's adventure had not been a particularly dangerous one. It was just a trip out to Mayfield Plains to see what she could find. It hadn't been especially productive. The area was, according to the game, beneath her level. But she also hadn't dropped into the danger zone of health, which was a rare feat. She was getting better at this. Of course, it had really helped when she'd discovered a few weeks ago that the little green leaf amoung her spells would slowly heal her after she cast it.

Not for the first time, Kelira finds herself wishing that she could turn back time and actually pay attention to what Mark had tried to teach her about the game. He had been so excited to share this new and exciting world with her. It had been fun to play with him, more than anything as an excuse to spend more time together. But the game itself had just seemed so overly complicated and confusing. It was easier to just do the things he told her to do and apologize when she inevitably messed things up.

She stops in front of a tavern and looks up at the sign: Striver's Taphouse. Swallowing hard, she stands in front of the entrance, trying to build up some courage. She needs to sell some of the meager things she gained this morning, but she is definitely not going back to the last shop she visited. She shudders at the memory of the creep who ran the place.

She also desperately wants to sleep in a bed for the night. It's such a weird sensation to not actually need to sleep. It almost seems to make her want to snuggle down into a soft bed all the more. She's slept so rarely these last few months, always worried about who or what might be waiting for her to be in such a vulnerable position.

"Just grab the handle, Kel," she says softly to encourage herself. "Go inside. Sell your stuff. Get some food. Get a good night's sleep. This place looks nicer. You'll be fine."

Despite her encouraging words, she just stands there at the door, hands unclenching and clenching slowly where she holds them by her sides.

As with any game, there were multiple personality archetypes you needed to account for. Of course, the event had shaken things up, created some hybrids … in many cases adding real fear to the mix. Back when the game was still a game, Iziki would never do something so bold as to simply walk into Evercrest Market.

A common tactic back then would be for an archer sniper to perch on one of the roofs of the surrounding buildings, while a stun-locker would wait in the market itself, and an assassin type would stalk behind potential PC prey. As the stun-locker and assassin converged on the target, the archer would hit them with a ranged snare, drawing aggro from all the king's guards, and leap from rooftop to rooftop, leading said guards on a not-so-merry and geometry-abusing chase … and pulling them out of the market proper. Meanwhile, the other pair would close in on the target, one from the front, one behind. Even if you were a little outside the attacker's level range, the combo of stun + assassin + exposed back could easily take down anything up to maybe level + 10. PKers loved to claim PvP was all about risk versus reward, but that was bullshit. For PKs, PvP was about eliminating risk entirely and making sure they never fought when losing was a realistic outcome. And a market, with distracted non-PvP-ready PCs flush with cash to spend, was their ideal hunting zone.

One of the many things true fear had improved. The risk before had been minor – the NPC guards catch the archer, then aggro on the assassin, get pulled off by the tank, and the assassin escapes with the loot. Since neither the tank nor the archer would bring anything valuable to the fight, even on failure, the bandits lose nothing. But now … both the archer and tank get to experience death. And people willing to fill such sacrificial roles became hard to find.

Still, Iziki can't quite stop herself from monitoring the perimeter of the market, looking for threats. A task made somewhat more challenging by her height, or rather lack thereof. Smaller avatar meant a smaller hit-box, and the ability to break line of sight by ducking behind half-height obstacles. And besides, she had found the idea of a tiny tank amusing. The elf sliders ran a little higher than the human ones, but with some cash shop unlocks, she had gotten down to a petite 1.4 meters of height – or 4'8". Dwarves were smaller, of course, but they were also broader. And a racial dex bonus was better than constitution. So many knights made that mistake – they see health they think "that's best", but they fail to take into account that the bonus is too small … anything that gets you to 2% is about to get you to 0%. Health is absolute, but avoidance is relative. And as any theorycrafter can tell you, small multiplicative bonuses can quickly morph into big outcomes when stacked properly.

Of course, most people around town were used to seeing Iziki in non-combat gear. 13 centimeter/5 inch heels were standard apparel – thank the dev gods for MMO physics making them far easier to use than in real life! But today she's in adventuring garb with normal boots, so that added height is missing.

It isn't so much that she misses Rivelin and his companions approach, it's more that a quick look at the level indicator shows little threat. So she is a bit surprised when he addresses her, ponytail dancing as her head whips around upon his words, right hand reflexively drifting towards the hilt of her sheathed sword.

"Oh!" The hand stops as azure eyes take in the trio, "I – yes." Even under the chainmail and warm fox pelt, her shoulders visibly shift as they relax.

Iziki-Bundled-At-Market.png

"Silver Top. Bit nippy, but it's a fantastic source of frost essence which, in my trade, is invaluable." One gloved hand reaches out to accept his offered one, shaking it firmly – she might be an small elf, but she's still a high-level knight, and her strength stat is quite solid. "Iziki. Tavern owner."

Not 'Iziki the bold', or 'Iziki the steadfast'. Not 'Iziki the anti-PK', or even 'Iziki the knight'. And most certainly not 'Iziki, off-tank for the Dragon Wing Companions', the progression raiding group that took on so many raid bosses, and logged a bunch of world-firsts back before the event. Whatever happened to that crew anyhow?

Nodding politely first to Lili and then to Ren, she lets a professional smile come over her lips. "Hello there to your fierce friends as well." Cats rarely appreciated being called 'cute', but 'fierce' was always safe for their egos.

"Don't always see clerics lean into the summoning elements. Don't know why, it's got to help drastically with soloing." Brushing a strand of golden hair back behind a prodigiously pointy ear, Iziki half-asks, half-apologizes. "If you wouldn't mind, I'm decked out in gear that is a bit warm for the city … but I can offer you a round on the house if we can head for my tavern? It's not too far, just a couple streets down, by the housing hub."

Market-side prices were brutal, and she actually felt being back in the residential area was better for business anyhow. Sure the market got more traffic, but these were MMO players at heart. You mostly came to market to offload loot on returning or gear up before heading out – either way, you weren't fully in 'down time' mode and as likely to head in for a drink. But when you were going by player housing … then you had time on your hands.

Finally gathering enough courage, Kelira reaches her trembling hand out to the door handle and pull it open. She is at once struck by the beauty of the tavern hall that opens up before her. Before she can truly take in the sight and scope of it, however, a brawny figure steps in front of her, blocking the entryway.

"We don't brook troublemakers here at Striver's Taphouse," the guard says menacingly. "Are you going to put that weapon away or am I taking it away from you?"

At once, Kelira sees things popping up in the strange display that has become a part of her life. But she doesn't need the flashing warnings about successful [INTIMIDATE] and failed [WILL] to tell her what she clearly feels. The wooden staff that she had been gripping in her left hand winks out of existence and back into her inventory. A moment later, the game's enforced sensation of fear begins to dissipate, though she is still left trembling from the experience. It is such a strange feeling to have her emotions manipulated like that by the game system.

She almost turns to walk away from the place, but then shakes her head. However intimidating they might be, it has guards. People aren't allowed to have weapons out. That means that she should be safer here than at some other tavern. A corridor heads of to the left, but the bouncer's posture makes it clear that she is expected to go to the larger room to the right. She instinctively offers the guard a shy smile and a nod and then walks by him into the tavern proper. It's silly. She knows that he's just a computer program, and not a real person, but she still feels compelled to treat them as she would anyone else.

Kelira is greated by the sound of music as she moves into the big room. The place seems fairly empty at the moment, but the bard in the corner still goes through his motions. Quickly scanning the interior of the big room, she is pleased to discover there aren't any other real people here at all. A buxom woman, standing near one of the open stone ovens, turns to face her. The server's dress, a flowing gown of what looks like purple velvet, clings to her body almost like a second skin. As Kelira takes a seat at a table, the waitress approaches, bare leg flashing through the slit up her long skirt as she walks.

Sitting there as the elegant woman approaches, Kelira suddenly regrets coming here after all. Her own, simple, woodsy garb stands out in such stark contrast to the waitress's beautiful attire. The seated girls looks down at herself, trying to quickly brush away some of the dust from her travel. She tries to adjust the flowing front of her top to cover more of the white tights that cover her thighs, and then makes sure it hasn't shifted again to reveal any of the flesh of her small breasts from the side.

As satisfied as she can be with the attempt, Kelira quickly goes through her inventory, feeling a little more depressed when she sees how few coins she has. But she has some meat and pelts she can sell. Can she sell to the waitress? Should she have gone up to the bar and talked to the bartender to sell items first? Well, in any case, she should have enough coin to at least get a drink.

"Hi there, stranger, and welcome to Striver's Taphouse. We don't get your type in here often."

As she speaks, the barmaid places her hands on the table, leaning in to flash her a peak at her ample cleavage. Once again, the game information flashes across Kel's display. [SEDUCTION] flashes by, along with the terms [CHA] and [WILL] again. And then Kelira gasps softly as she feels the results, a little whimper escaping her lips. A warm, tingling sensation flows through her body. She remembers, so vividly now, that moment when she'd made her character. Mark had thought it would be such fun if she picked 'bisexual' instead of 'straight.'

"Babe, it's just a game," he'd told her. "It'll be fun. And it will open up some opportunities for you for interactions with female characters. There's no reason not to."

Now, not for the first time, she recognized how wrong he had been. She gripped the table's edge, swallowing hard and trying to find her voice. She tried to fight back the urge to rise enough to plant a kiss on the soft lips of the woman leaning over the table. It's not even a real person. She knows that, but it does little to fight back the urge rushing through her.

"C-can I sell you stuff? Or is it just buying from you?"

@Fetterette

Giving a wink of one big, green eye, the redhead flashes a playful grin. "Depends what you're selling, sugar." One hand on the swell of a velvet clad hip, the NPC waitress gives it a beat before continuing.

"I can offer standard prices for common loot, natch-ural-ly." Most vendors could buy trash loot after all. But as an established merchant, Iziki's vendors could offer a little extra too. "And, just for you, I can buy most fruits and grains you may have picked up in your travels. If you have anything of … " and here her eyes trace down Kelira's form, "… special quality, I can always send a note to my mistress."

A little holo-menu pops up next to the woman's head.

@Ahlanna

Kelira feels lost in the long, slow wink of the barmaid's eye. She cannot help but follow the movement of the waitress's hand as it comes to rest on the lovely curve of that purple-sheathed hip. The pause that follows is not a long one, and yet the elven girl in the seat feels as though she is lost in it, swimming in a sea of strange sensations that she doesn't truly understand.

When the menu pops up into Kelira's view of the world, it seems to dampen the feelings a little. Most likely that is because she currently has nothing that is of particular value to the establishment. She lets out a soft moan of disappointment. Fruits and Grains? Why not pelts and meats? Nothing about this stupid game seems to make any sense.

But then, almost in unison, there is a confluence of events. In one moment, the barmaid is giving her an appraising glance and offering to contact her mistress... just as Kelira notices that the Taphouse is looking for wait staff. Could it really be that easy? Could she just leave behind this stupid game of fighting and hurting and struggle and be a waitress? That would be like in the real world, right? No more fighting... just a job.

When she looks back up into the waitress's eyes, she is lost in that enchanting, green gaze for a moment again. She struggles to force her mind not to think about those enticing lips... that enchanting bosom... those soft hands on her body...

"Could you send a note to your mistress? I'd like to apply for a job."

@Fetterette

"Oooh," Jenna coos in response to Kelira's words, "… selling yourself, are you?"

Giving a little giggle as she brushes her deep auburn hair from her eye, the waitress helpfully adds in a dulcet alto voice, "I'd make an offer, babe, but doubt I can handle the price!"

"Still, the mistress is pretty flush. She's already on her way back from a little excursion. Care for a drink while you're waiting? For an applicant, it's on the house. Maybe a Black Pearl? Or a Divine Wrath?"

Taking in Kelira's slender form, the waitress guesstimates at a constitution score, leaning in for a overly friendly whisper. If the other woman doesn't dodge, those full lips will nearly tickle her pointy ear. "Hmm, or a High Garden Spritz? Blissful Glade? We pour decent cup-a-coffee, too, if you're looking to keep clear upstairs afore business talk."

Straightening back up, with a playful bounce that sends a little shiver through her body, she then intones blandly, as if reading from a script, "Striver's Taphouse offers a clean and classy work environment. Our security staff keep the premises safe from marauding PKs and wandering mobs. Bonus pay for busy shifts, and that's before tips. NPC coverage allows for regular breaks in work schedule. Outfit allowance provided, and staff eats free. You can even crash here, with secure storage for your loot, and staff sleeping quarters that offer a respite from the crowds. Great tips!"

@Ahlanna @Fetterette

Oof, now that's a handshake. Most likely due to the level difference between Iziki and Rivelin, what Iziki may have intended to be a firm grip ended up being almost the equivalent of a professional arm wrestlers grasp. Though it didn't cause any actual damage, Rivelin struggled to hold a straight face during the handshake but somehow managed.

"Summoner." He gave a professional response when Iziki announced herself as a tavern owner, which Rivelin already knew ahead of time. When greeted, Lili responded with a mew and trot over to Iziki before giving her leg a few sniffs before nudging it with her head. Meanwhile Ren just gave a simple chuff as a response and relaxing her posture somewhat, her attention changing to observing the surroundings for potential threats. She was set to be [Defensive] after all.

"Beats me, I see summons as an absolute necessity if I want to solo anything even close to my own level. If only my summons didn't eat half of my exp though...." He glanced over at Ren who didn't seem to understand or care about what Rivelin was saying. He shook his head a little before returning his attention back to the elf standing before him. "Sounds fair, I was actually planning to visit your tavern at some point anyway. But if you are offering, I'm not gonna turn down a free drink." Rivelin responded with a smile as he turned to the direction of her establishment. He waited for her to turn as well before proceeding to start walking, Lili taking her place between him and Iziki with Ren following closely on his other side as they walked. "Your place always has better foods compared to other places that I have tried to get food from. That being said, I have been curious as to how all the foods and drinks that provide various buffs are made, since they obviously are not traditional potions or medicine. Do you combine alchemy with something else or do you employ other crafters to make most of the goods and then just... throw everything into a pot and see what happens?" Being an experimenter at heart, Rivelin bombarded Iziki with questions about how all the ways and secrets of 'food magic' worked. Though in actuality what he was interested in was searching for new ingredients that he could use an experiment with in order to create cheap but effective potions, both to sell and to use for himself. He had discovered a few recovery potions that were easy to make and with their ingredients readily available in most places, all of which either restored HP, mana or both a small but reasonable amount. That sort of thing is why he IRL went into the sciences, to discover new things and experiment.

For most of the walk back to the tavern, Rivelin would barrage and pepper Iziki with questions about various materials and techniques that he had learned. The more he talked about the wonders of the in-game alchemy and how you could take something mundane like two herbs and some water and turn it into a basic healing potion he started sounding more like an excited puppy rather than a medical trainee, despite his IRL profession. "...and then when you shake the the bottle while slowly bringing it up to proper temperature, it causes the potion to be a higher quality than if you simply follow the instructions of just dump it all in and wait. How dumb is that?! The game is actively teaching us to do our jobs wrong!" Somehow in the middle of the conversation, Rivelin ended up ranting about the scuffed crafting system and the little ways you can make higher quality items by disobeying provided instructions, right as they reached the doors to the tavern.

A quick wave of his hand later, Ren was dismissed into whatever pocket dimension dismissed companions disappeared to. The gruff looking NPC bouncer at the door glanced at Rivelin as he entered the tavern, but only gives him an approving nod when he sees that the cleric had no weapons equipped at the time. While a spellbook, staff or wand usually helped with spellcasting a significant amount, they were not always necessary. "Cool place. How many people you usually get here?" He barely managed to ask, right as the lovely waitress got to the end of her advertisement speech for another elf over at the bar. Said waitress almost immediately spotted her mistress, and no doubt would want to get her attention as soon as possible.

Lili the cat on the other hand raised her head and sniffed at the air curiously, her head and ears turning in various directions as she absorbed all the new sounds and smells. Yet she would not move too far from Rivelin, almost like something was preventing her from doing so despite there being ample room for her to move around.

"… selling yourself, are you?"

Kelira’s eyes go wide at the barmaid’s words. She opens her mouth to speak but cannot find her voice. She wants to explain herself… to fix the mistake that has been made.

But then she blushes crimson when the waitress laughs at the joke she’s made. She can only stare up at those pretty lips, feeling as though she is hanging from every word they form.

“Oh? A free drink? That sounds-“

Kelira’s next words, whatever they might have been, are cut off by the waitress suddenly leaning close to whisper.

When the waitress’s lips brush across the flesh of Kelira’s pointed ear, it sends a shockwave of sensation through the girl’s body. Her eyelashes flutter as the heat of the barmaid’s breath makes her hair stand on end.

Pressing her thighs together beneath the table, Kelira struggles to get a hold of herself. This barmaid is not a real person. None of this is real. But she cannot ignore the feelings running through her.

“A Blissful Glade sounds nice,” she finally manages to speak.

When the waitress bounces back upright and begins her speech about the job, Kelira begins to return to normal once more. The infatuation with the waitress, however, is quickly replaced with something she finds herself yearning for even more.

Not having to worry about food or a place to sleep… regular money that doesn’t require getting hit by monsters and figuring out which stupid spells do what… just a sane normal life… Kelira finds herself nodding along almost numbly.

“That sounds amazing. Let your mistress know that I’m very interested if you would, please.”

Grinning from ear to ear, Kelira leans back a little in her seat, oblivious to the arrival of the others at the other end of the tavern.

Tock! Tock! Tock!

The golden-haired elf named Lune took a step back and returned the mallet to her inventory, then examined her handiwork with hands on her hips and a self-satisfied nod. One of the perks of the Scribe profession was the ability to create advertisements and fliers for the quest boards. It had probably only ever been intended as a minor RP feature (like half of the profession's skills, really), but these days she was certainly getting a lot of use out of it. Today's flyer featured a rough sketch of a werewolf, rippling with muscles and standing on its hind legs as it howled in apparent rage. Beneath the image was Lune's cheery handwriting:

Heya, adventurers! Have you seen this werewolf around?
No, he's not the Werewolf King from the Dungeon of Howls! This guy is some kind of roaming world boss - last spotted outside the Cleric Castle in the plains. If you've seen him, send me a mail; I want to hear about it! Cash reward!
~Lune

Unfortunately, she didn't have much more to go on than that; the player who'd last spotted the werewolf was pretty low-level and had high-tailed it out of there without getting a closer look, and there wasn't a trace left by the time Lune had found out about it and gone to the castle for a look herself. She'd have dismissed it as just a spooked newbie imagining things, but the game really did have more than its fair share of rare-spawning bosses, and this wasn't the first time she'd heard rumours of a werewolf spawning somewhere it wasn't supposed to. Plus, there was that bone-chilling howl she'd heard out in the marshes that one night...

The elf shivered involuntarily at the memory, then snorted in irritation. There was money to be made by whoever figured this thing out first, of course, but more than that she hated an unsolved mystery. Without any more leads, though, there wasn't much more she could do — just wait for another sighting, and hope that she was better prepared if it spawned near her home again.

Which meant it was time to focus on other matters. Lune shook her head and then turned away from the quest board, beginning to make her way down the street as she ran through her to-do list in her head. She had some business to take care of at Hunter's shop before leaving town, and she really had been neglecting her leveling lately...

Wait a minute.

The elf stopped dead in her tracks, her pointed ears twitching as she overhead a snippet of passing conversation. Her purple eyes scanned carefully over the crowd as she tried to separate the PCs from the NPCs, searching for the source of the voices she'd heard. There. She knew one of them immediately, of course; Lune had spent enough time in the taphouse to recognize Iziki's voice, even if she couldn't quite properly see the other elf over the crowd. Her companion was a stranger — a summoner, by the look of his pets, which was interesting in and of itself — but his identity wasn't really what had caught Lune's attention. No, she was interested in the topic of their conversation. Crafting.

Scribes were technically a form of crafter, but beyond the basics that didn't mean a whole lot; every crafting profession had its own tricks and quirks, and levelling them up enough to really start to experiment was a significant investment of both time and money. The upshot of that was that Lune was pretty dependent on word-of-mouth and interviews with other players when it came to putting together her guides — and, of course, the best crafters always kept a few secrets for themselves. Now, Lune highly doubted that Iziki was just going to out and give this guy any secrets Lune hadn't already heard, but, well... it still might end up being a conversation worth overhearing.

And so Lune pulled a quill and blank roll of parchment out of her inventory, and began to follow them.

She was no assassin, of course. As an elementalist, she didn't have many skills to help sneak up on other players. She did like to carry a large stack of invisibility scrolls, but those were mostly for slipping past mobs out in the field; the limited duration wasn't super well suited for eavesdropping on a conversation, especially one long enough to be worth overhearing. As such, Lune was forced to rely on more traditional methods — sticking behind cover, using corners to break line-of-sight, and trying to blend into the crowd whenever she had to walk out in the open. Her approach definitely wasn't the most subtle — it would be obvious to anyone watching that she was trying to tail someone — but hey, as long as her targets were distracted by their conversation and not looking out for her, it'd be fine, right?
