Raven had been planning, and saving, and making sure her time off requests were all in order. She had a vacation planned now that summer was rolling in, and now that the beach was going to get crowded, she wanted her and Dilan to be able to have a good time.
 
Dilan loved the beach, was always trying to convince Raven to go every summer but it was never in the cards. She had no idea what Raven was planning, and Raven wanted to keep it that way.
 
She grinned from ear to ear. "Good..! Good. We're going to need some things from the store.." she said, muttering to herself. And then, it was on them. Raven had her things packed, and had everything else stowed in the trunk as she waited for Dilan.
 
Dilan came out with her things and locked up the house before moving over, "Ok, hun, I think we're good.."
 
She grinned. "Well, fair enough." They drove off, and Raven put on her usual playlist. The drive wasn't long, even with the traffic.
 
Raven smiled and squeezed her hand gently. It was becoming fairly obvious where they were going, especially with the GPS spouting "follow signs for beach cities" with every freeway change.
